A nice young man Anthony did my pedicure, then did my nails. I enjoyed my time there, my nails look nice! Will go again!

The nail tech acted highly irritated I was getting my nails done. She was aggressive with my hands. I have many cuts from the aggressive manicure. I asked for a more square shape after I told her square round. She paused and didn’t say a word. I knew this made her more angry. I ended tipping her thinking maybe it was a bad day for her. Anyway, I’ve never been more disappointed being treated in a nail salon. I go there on and off, but after that I won’t be back.

4/8/2021I am not one to bash businesses or complain and am usually very understanding and don’t get me wrong they are good at what they do and mostly clean. but when you are paying extra money for a higher quality pedicure and manicure you should get what you’re paying for. I requested the $35 35 minute pedicure and the lady only worked on my feet for barely 20 minutes and didn’t do all the things that was included in that price. It was very rushed(not the first time this has happened to me) and when I confronted her about it she completely ignored me and said “35 dollars!” Customers expect to get what they’re paying for and to get their money’s worth and not be rushed out the door. If you are paying extra for a longer pedicure or for more services I would make sure you tell them before they start that you expect the full time and the full service.

Use to go here a lot, several years ago. It was just as I remember, only some really nice chair upgrades and paint and such. They are great! 😊

I only let Dennis do my nails. He is so gentle, my arthritic fingers hardly know they are being manipulated. I am very pleased with his work. I have been going to him since I moved to Cookeville in May 2020. Thank youDennis.

I’ve been to multiple different nail salons and paid a TON of money for my nails to shortly mess up, chip, come off, or break within a week of me having them done. I got my nails done here about 3 weeks ago, granted it’s time to get them redone, the only problem I’ve had is my nails growing out... the service is immaculate, very friendly, and they don’t have side conversations with coworkers10/10 would HIGHLY recommend for anyone all ages.Will definitely be going back ❤️

Absolutely love fashion nails!!! They love their customers and take great care of each one! Always willing to help when a client is undecided or needs help deciding on colors. I’ve gone in there and told them I needed something different or gave them a theme idea and my nails always come out great!!! And now they have awesome glow in the dark Nexgen!

A change of personnel on 7/25/2020 when I went for pedicure.Didn’t use as many scrub, softening, numbing?, products as in past. Leg massage not a good one. Over quickly! Not really a massage! Didn’t cover entire nail with bottom coat and when I showed her 2 toes that needed more polish to cover nail. She rubbed end of nail like she’d put too much on end and abruptly walked away to ?? Heels not smooth and small callus on big toe few days later. Again, didn’t see a familiar face of few months ago. Will be looking for another salon. Check the dates of reviews. Old personnel were great.

Felt very rushed while looking at colors, then the lady doing my nails, went and grabbed a random shade of the color I was looking for and told me it was good enough. Very rude While I was soaking off my previous colors. Did not make conversation. Rolled her eyes a lot. Nails were uneven, and the ends were jagged and broken looking instead of sharp and smooth. My nail broke the very next day. Absolutely will never be going back here and definitely don’t recommend this place 😷

Great place to get your nails done! I made an appointment, I was serviced right away, and it took no time at all. Their gels last every time between 2 1/2 - 3 weeks (and possibly longer but I like to switch colors up). You can tell they really *care* about their clients and about their salon. Highly recommend go it! I will definitely be coming here from now on!

The technician rushed to complete the job which was too thick and bubbly looking. He also talked to the owner under his breath the entire time. He was unfriendly and seemed unhappy doing this job. Just no passion or consideration of this as an art form from anyone at this place. I think the standard here is to work quickly, not making sure the work is of quality nor if customer is satisfied.

They did a great job on my next gen nails! They are so strong, I thought I was rough on my nails but these wont break. Ive had them for weeks and they are still awesome. The color is so bright! Their prices are WAY better than anyone else.

I’ve been going here for about two years or so and I absolutely love it!!!! You can’t go wrong with any of the staff. They also tend to my random color combinations and designs. My mother and I won’t go anywhere else! By far the best shop in Cookeville!

Most painful pedicure Ive ever had. The woman that did my pedicure was rough and she did not do a very good job. I didnt even bother with polish I just told her to stop. I paid and left. I wont go back to that shop. My daughter also had a pedicure and she has the same complaints. She was finished in less than 15 min. She wont go back to that shop either. Also, the woman completely ignored me when I spoke to her and I had to ask if she understood me and another employee had to intervene, and she wasnt very nice about it she spoke very curtly to me.

I have been going to Jessica at Fashion Nails for several years and I love how she does my nails. She is very fast and very good. I will never go anywhere else.

I came in to get acrylic nail powder removed and have my actual nails painted. I tried explaining to the lady that the white acrylic powder had been placed on my actual nails because they were so long at the time I went in to get them done and I just wanted them white. I assumed in telling her this she would be gentle removing them. She filled a bowl with acetone but she then proceeded to use a plastic acrylic tip to remove the acrylic powder. She did this by forcefully wedging the plastic tip in between my nail and the acrylic. When I instinctively jerked my hand away (because it was hurting so bad) she proceeded to grab my hand back and continue doing it. The color polish I chose to have my nails painted was a light gray. She did two coats and then a clear top coat to which she then said I was done. So I looked at them and noticed the polish was so thin you could still see my nail. When I politely asked her to put a 3rd coat on it she said well I already did two. So then she put on a sloppy third coat. I will not be back

This is my go to place! Great prices, and so many colors to choose from! Great customer service and very fast.

The service was wonderful and the pricing was better than most places. The nail techs are way more polite and do what you want way better than other places. It took them 40 minutes to do 2 full sets and style. Definitely going back for now on.

Their methods are very different from the salon I have chosen as my favorite. Fashion Nails had me soak off the gel polish. Then scrapped the nail surface with the edge of the nail clippers. Very damaging. The other salon does individual finger wraps which super softens the gel so that very little scraping is required. Today, the polish on the tip of my left first finger flaked off the tip on the way home from the salon! They used a dirty towel as my mat. She shook it off on the floor first! D- on cleanliness.

Dennis is absolutely fantastic. He is the only person I like and trust to do my nails because he consistently does an excellent job. I really enjoy going in and seeing him.

I will NOT go back. Tina, barely spoke to me. My previous manicure was lifting, instead sanding the loose part down, she PULLED it off taking part of my natural nail off!! This HURT of course. I told her this hurt, so she did the others the without ripping...why did I have to ask not to have my nail ripped off. I dont know where these workers went to school, Vietnam? But, they should have to meet standards here for health of the client, which does not include ripping off a chunk of the natural nail. NOT GOOD! Perhaps if they were trained to care about repeat customers instead of volume, they would take better care of you. Dont say you werent warned.

I NEVER write reviews, but I had to because I’ve never been this upset leaving a nail salon before. Came in and asked for dip nails on my natural nail, no tips, expecting to pay the normal $30 for a fill-in. She started painting the powder on, which I thought was weird but she was already doing it so I didn’t say anything. I get up front to pay after she’s already done and they tell me she did a color powder (how is that different from dip powder?) and that it would be $45!! That was something that would’ve been nice to know before so I could’ve told her no. So after paying a tip I left spending $14 more than I originally planned. DO NOT GO HERE. YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF.

The energy is great along with their work and they seem to be able to do nearly anything! This place looks and feels very clean, which is absolutely crucial. Definitely deserving of 5 stars.

I dont know why this came up as my husbands name, but Ive been going to Fashion Nails for years. I drive 45 minutes, because they always do a great job on my nails and Im very picky. Cindy gives an unbelievable pedicure and massage. Many polish colors to chose from. As for the nail tech talking to customers, maybe its because their English is limited. Obviously, Im happy with the service they provide and I will continue to get my nails done at Fashion Nails!

I went in to get my brows waxed after waiting over an hour at another nail salon, and as soon as I walked in Jessica took me straight back and did a great job. I would highly recommend

I was visiting family and had developed a very painful hangnail, and Fashion Nails was conveniently located. Had I known how overpriced they were ($35 for a twenty minute manicure) I probably would have kept looking for another salon. The end result, however, was a good manicure and relief from the hangnail pain. Overall, Im pleased.

Last week my best friends and I went in here for a mani/pedi and I didnt doubt that they are GREAT. Nail work and customer service is top notch. I cant wait until I can come back to visit a fill next week!

The facility is nice (hence 1 star). I had a natural mani/pedi done there about a week ago.Other than polish (I brought my own), I was asked no questions. The quality of work was no better than I could have done myself and the work wasnt even checked before I left.Since my nails werent cut or shaped, the edges were weak and the 2 coats plus top coat started flaking within a few days.Either go somewhere else or find out who _specifically_ to ask for. Do not just walk in and expect good service or product.

The salon is super clean, quiet, and peaceful and did precise what I asked for! They have won my trust. After coming here I cant go anywhere else.

This place is awful. I had dry hands and they made fun of me the entire time I was in there in chinease. I felt so embarrassed, the girl that was doing my nails was laughing at me the entire time. She even told other employees to stand and walk by that way they could see my dry hands. I will never go back. She messed my nails up because she was laughing so hard.

These people are always in a hurry. Done terrible would not recommend! Did not shape my nails and when I got home I noticed the nail polish was all around my nails ! Looked like my child painted them.

This Place is TRASH! Had my wife go to get her nails done in the NexGen and wow they are jacked up! I know very little about nails, but, the person that did my wifes nails admitted to not even using the right stuff for the NexGen because she had run out. The nails were uneven and not at all done on the full nail there were places you could still see my wifes nail under the coats of polish and when my wife said something about it she was told she would be given the money back due to the poor job they had done. but that has still yet to happen. Best to go somewhere else for quality nails. P.s Two days after her nails were done the top coat started to peel away from the nail. they only got one star your forced to place at least one.

I got a full set gel nails here with Tina. I will not allow her to do my nails again. The staff was friendly and nice. But Tina was very rough with my nails and fingers, I have a high pain tolerance but there shouldnt be any level of pain when treating yourself to getting your nails done. Not only that but after having asked her 4 times to shape my nails the way I wanted I finally stopped asking and the nails have large humps on them..... I will go back for my fill and give someone else a chance to change my mind about this place.

Love going here to get my nails done. So relaxing. They do mani/pedis and waxing also. They do wonderful. I go to the same person everytime. Walk-ins are welcome but if its around a holiday or something its best to make an appt. They have available restrooms and its always clean.

I moved here from Chicago. It has taken me a year to find a nail salon that I like. Try this one. They are very good.

I have had problems with this place before, but after today I am done. They cut me basically every time. They also ALWAYS get the nexgen on my fingers beside my nails and I have to fix it at home with a file. Today, I had them done by the Male who always sits in the first chair to the left. I always leave disappointed - today, I am not sure why I even paid to have this done. He was very rough starting out. He works too quickly to be able to do precise work. It was all over my fingers, and my first and second finger and differently shaped from the rest. I showed the odd shape to him just to be told he did not see it. I asked another associate and she couldnt see it either. So I dropped it as he did the other hand, where there ended up being a gap of no paint that I asked him to fix. (Note that this is something he too noticed, and decided to ignore.) When asked to fix it, he sighed, tossed the lid to the nexgen, and fixed it while acting like a child asked to clean something up. In the end, I left with the nexgen on my fingers, misshapen nails, gaps at the base, and very dissatisfied. I will never recommend this place.The last picture is from around the holidays and a different associate that cut me badly. Her response was That happens sometimes.

Went there several times BC I was desperate. Employees not friendly and dont speak to you or try to have conversation. Jessica is a great nail artist but she is the only one. Limited selection of color and style, old technology and old equipment and highest price in town. My last and final visit I told her wat I wanted. She did the exact opposite and my nails looked cheap and tacky. I laughed at them and took them off the next day. Had to pay another $30 to have them redone somewhere else . never go here.

Yesterday was my birthday and I wanted to go pamper myself. I have not had my nails done in awhile so I was really excited about it until I left this buisness yesterday. The guy who did my nails was “T” The older man there with glasses. I got the nexgen and at first it was fine while he was dipping my nails. Then he started asking me questions and I could not understand him and I felt like he was getting frustrated with me because of it, after dipping my nails in the powder he started to shape them into his idea of square tips. They turned out more so round. When I asked him to file a few that were uneven I felt like I was completely ignored. Then he got the drill out,this part was the worst of my experience here, he drilled the skin off 7 of my fingers!!! There was blood from my pinky finger starting to drip down on my nail and he just grabbed the area that was bleeding and it rubbed the blood over my nail and he continued drilling. He did not have gloves on. I told him he was catching my skin with the drill and he said sorry but still continued drilling on my other cuticles. I didn’t want to be that customer throwing a fit so I tolerated it as long as I could since he was near finishing. When I was told they were dry I could wash my hands, come to find out they were not dry because paper towel from drying my hands got stuck in the nail so he had to fix it then after he” fixed it” it looked awful still when I got up the second time to wash my hands the owner said out loud”you don’t mess them up this time again okay??!!” I replied, He had told me they were dry. I did not mess them up then she mumbled something in her language, there’s no telling what she said. I even gave him a tip. I know, stupid right? By the time it was over I was so glad and I promise you I will never return there to have any service done. I wish I was able to post pictures of the open sores on my fingers and of my nails. My fingers burn everytime I wash my hands or the wind hits them. If I catch an infection from this I promise that I will file a complaint further than I have. The top layer of skin around my cuticles is literally gone! What if the customer before me had been drilled on and was bleeding then I sat down right after and the drill was used on me or the customer right after me? Because I know for a fact from observing they did not take time to clean and sanitize that drill after me and I can confirm my blood was on it!!! The man wore glasses and had a coat of powder on them from filing so I know he couldn’t see well but if that’s the case he should not be doing nails. I truly hope my review will warn others of the conditions and quality of their work here. I should have demanded someone else fix my nails but my fingers were already on fire. I contacted them today two days later only due to my fingers still burning and gave them the chance to make it right by giving me a refund before I choose to file a complaint and leave this bad review. I was offered store credit which I turned down because I’d rather not return to a place I had an unpleasant experience at and let the owner who yelled out loud telling me not to mess my nails up again when it was not my fault fix them. After sending her pictures of my nails she called me back and decided to give me a refund but I still Feel like what happened should be noted on their reviews. I will say that Mia the girl that helps them up front who answered my phone call was very sweet,helpful and apologetic.I am currently sick with the stomach flu so I asked if I could pick the refund up tomorrow and I was told if I wanted the refund that I had to pick it up in person today.They didn’t care if I was sick and contagious coming into their buisness spreading it.When I got there Mia handed me a posted note that she wrote out for her boss since her boss was out of town.The posted note said” if I accept a refund they are not accountable from that point. Let me remind you there was no signature from their boss or a date and it was written on a little posted note! If I get an infection that will not save them

Got my eyebrows done there and they are completely opposite one is prefect tree other is thicker i went in to have it fixed after leaving and its still just as bad. Horrible experience. Never again

Me and a friend went to Fashion Nails for manicures; BIG MISTAKE; we got French tip manicures, they were so uneven and mine was filed one sided; the woman didnt appear to know how to do a French manicure and to add to it, the polish chipped the next day; it was the WORSE manicure Ive ever had; I asked she barely file them and she cut all my nails; and to add to all this, the woman spray sterilized the nail instruments she used rather than the instruments being properly sterilized and opened from a pre-sterilized package; in less than a week 70% of the polish was gone or chipped so bad you couldnt tell I had a (supposedly) professional give me a manicure!! WASTED MONEY AND TIME!!

My husband got me a gift certificate from there at Christmas. It was for $35.00 when he bought it they told him it would cover a mani and a pedi! Well I went today, I told them I wanted a full set of acrylic nails. The lady was NOT friendly and she put 3 false nails on me, and just put the acrylic on the rest. I showed her a picture of what I wanted, a simple French Manicure, she gave me the WORST French manicure I have ever recieved. I could have done better myself. Also it got me the 35 bucks on my gift certificate pluses 5 more bucks. I will NEVER go to this place again. Worst nails I have ever had put on in my life!!!!

They charged me $25 to polish my daughters nails with gel polish, Im not a regular at nails salons, but thought it was high, I called 2 others and they charged 17 and 18, I called and they just said well we charge $25! ASK beforehand so you can BE prepared to be overcharged👎

Super expensive for a full set of acrylic nails and dont talk to you until they have a question about your nails! And mine were uneven and the paint sarted coming off in less than a week!
