I dont know much about playing golf here, but when I tell you that Audrey and Events staff are AWESOME, you better believe me!!I had an all-girls live jazz birthday brunch here Saturday, September 4th, on the huge verandah overlooking the golf course ⛳, and it was EPIC, because of the Events and catering services provided for my milestone birthday! The food was plentiful, hot, and delicious!!The venue is breathtakingly beautiful, and easily accommodated 78 of my best girlfriends, safely.Kudos to Audrey and her staff....YALL DID THAT!!!

The course is always challenging and in good shape. The carts are as good as they get with soft seats and gps screen to help with deciding how to play each shot. Lots of tough holes, but if you are playing well, it definitely is rewarding!

Great people and great holes. And I think a fair price for the quality that you get in the area.

Wonderful, wonderful. I went here for sunday brunch and the service was great. The food was wonderful and cook to order fresh buy the chef. The staff was very friendly and attentive making sure to top off drinks and checking on whether we needed anything else. The grounds are beautiful and can be seen from the dining area. There is a balcony with outdoor seating. The restrooms are clean and only for diners and people coming to golf. The parking area is a little tight but enough to park a truck or SUV. Overall a wonderful experience and I am certain going to return again.

Great track! The gentleman at the counter at 7:30 was welcoming and friendly. This was my first time at this course and I enjoyed it and will definitely go again.

Tight course. Lots of blind shots. Decent condition except the bunkers are in very bad shape. No beverage cart on a Sunday, which is odd. Nice patio setup.

The course is excellent! Great layout. Great condition. Great value. The fairways are wide enough for those that unintentionally curve the ball left to right. Great views throughout the course. A few holes with blind shots, but not much. Greens roll true.

Wow!!!! This course was amazing. Really had some beautiful scenery... the course is challenging. Yet fun to play... lots of challenges on whether to lay up or go for it. The maintenance of the course was extremely good. With all the leaves falling, they had the course really clear to for play. The price to play was very inexpensive for a course of this nature. Very impressed. Will play this course again when I visit the area again.

Played with BB and Lorna. My first time. Beside myself I have not played Cherokee Run GC til now! Wow! The beauty of the fairways and greens was breathtaking. Not for the faint of heart. I’m a high handicap so come prepared to be challenged physically and mentally. Amazing day and amazing course. Definitely will be back again, again and again.

Very nice course....well kept

We had our wedding here and it was beautiful. The ceremony was held out on the veranda and we moved right inside for the reception. The food was delicious and the staff were absolutely amazing. They kept things moving smoothly and made sure all of our guest were taken care of. A special thank you to Audrey, who decorated and coordinated everything for us. We could not have done it without her. Would highly recommend Cherokee Run for your event.

This Arnold Palmer golf course is a must play. Cherokee Run is always in great shape, especially with the Zoysia grass fairways make this course unique.

Great course, greens, staff, and facility

Excellent place to have Sunday brunch! Clean restrooms and good food. Service was excellent, if I problem arose it was handled quickly and effectively. People seemed personable in a good way. Will return very soon. Please bring back the buffet back I would love to try it and lounge around in such a comfortable atmosphere.

Greens and fairways are beautiful green. Need to smooth out some parts of the course its like an off road course in some areas that are pretty and green.

If you enjoy coughing and a great staff this is the place to go. They also have great rental areas and event planners for any of your needs. Their customer service staff is more than outstanding. Its the type service and greetings and treatment that you expect. Mr. Tommy Moon runs & directs this location with the highest of expertise and kindness. Stop by for Sunday brunch. And then go for your round of golf. You will have the greatest time and a day well spent with some top notch people.

Great course, challenging but fair. Zoysia fairways are perfect. Excellent staff. Membership fees very reasonable. Fast greens but roll true. Try and stay below the hole! Restaurant and bar also good variety and great service.

My favorite golf club in GA

Great course and better value. Course was in excellent condition and had good pace of play on a holiday. Worth the 45 minute drive from Sandy Springs.

First game of golf in Georgia and I have to say we picked a fine course in Cherokee Run GC to do it. A very hilly course, not an easy course because of that, but fair. Greens were tough due to the speed of the and the slopes. Though I managed those fairly well I did struggle getting to them the way my game has been lately, managed a much improved back nine. Course was a little damp in places but overall in great shape, especially those greens.. Staff were very friendly, had a good chat with the starter, very welcoming. Price was very reasonable and pace of play was no problem at all. My first Arnold Palmer course and it was fun. Id play here again in a heartbeat.

Tyler is the best! Tommy is great too. Our event was wonderful, the men were able to enjoy the game a little, even though it was cold outside even without the fire it was warm and cozy. The staff was so accommodating. The only issues were the projector/sound system but it worked out the best it could.

Cheers to the golf shop and staff at Cherokee Run. As a Minnesotan in Atlanta for work, I was sad to realize I left my range finder at the course. 5 days later when I called they still had it, then went out of their way to send it back. Southern hospitality is alive and well at this course. Thanks everyone.

Great course...rained in the morning but greens tried up quickly and speed improved. A couple blind shots that are always frustrating for a first timer and identified that proper placement is required. Overall, a course that requires good shots to score well but anyone can have fun playing this course. Very hilly and picturesque.

Very tough course but nice!!

If you are looking for a true test of your skill set, put this one on your list. The greens are mini Verde and extremely quick down grain. It was windy and a little raw but even on the dormant zoygia fairways the ball sat up on a tee. This is a fun track. I will definitely be back. One of my favorites and about the only thing I travel to play east of Atlanta.

Played Oct 23. Course is in great shape. 1st time playing there and did not know where to hit on some holes, but the digital display in the cart was a life saver. Never seen this before but it is a great think to have on the course. Will be back. Greens are soft and hold on the right shots. Very rolling greens and a challenge.

One of the most consistently great courses Ive ever played and Ive played 20 of the top 50 in the country! Tommy runs it with integrity and fairness and you can always expect course conditions to be great or explained prior to play....if you play well from the tips at the Run, you will play well just about anywhere.

A very difficult golf courseYou need to download a course outline. A lot of undulation in the greens. If you miss long you have a slick and treacherous put coming downhill. Pin placements were at places were if you missed it was like a one stroke penalty. Not a place for high handicappers.

One of my favorite courses on the east side of Atlanta. But it requires solid ball striking for sure. It is a very tough track if you want to shoot low.

Nice track,nicely put together. Greens fast but they need help. Alot of patches on them. Course could use some water where its meant to be and and could use better drainage in some other spots. But overall, good coarse and worth playing.

Great course, very nice. This was my 2nd time golfing here this year and had an issue that I wasnt happy about. At about the 7th hole or so, the screen on the golf carts start advertising for you to call the clubhouse and order food. We stopped by the clubhouse and had some hotdogs, stopped for 15 mins max. When we get to the 10th hole, there are a couple other groups about to start also. We said we have no problem waiting and said go ahead, but they told us they were waiting on someone so we went ahead and went to the 10th hole. As soon as we get there someone who works for Cherokee Run comes and asks us to start on the 11th hole so people could go ahead and play, but when we told them the people said we could go ahead of them, for some reason the employee got an attitude and said well its not policy for you to stop at the clubhouse during the round because we were off pace, even though we werent in anyones way. I asked him if its not policy to stop and eat then why do they start advertising on the 7th hole for you to order food for lunch. He didnt really have an answer and drove off with an attitude, which irritated my group. We werent sowing any groups down, and I dont understand why we got the attitude. Needless to say I am probably done golfing here for the year, maybe next year.

Great pub, excellent Arnie Palmer design course, well-kept practice range, friendly staff & nice atmosphere...my favorite course to play between Atlanta & Augusta (barely nudging out Hard Labor Creek). The friendly staff & above-average pub put this course ahead of every other public golf facility east of the ATL.

I attended a Dr. Martin Luther King celebration the food was very good and the facility was very nice.
