Called the 1800 number spoke with tech support Mr. Cody was amazing customers service was above & beyond! He fixed our issue listened to us & gave feedback he was far from short with us & BC of him we remain with HTC for our wifi services! The entire company is wonderful there are a few bad experiences weve had with customer service however the service, helpful agents & good employees outweighs the bad weve encountered
Hundreds of children out of school that cant afford internet and still more concerned with getting paid then childrens education! Shame on you!!!

I have had an issue with this company since I started with them. There billing is terrible! Some times I receive a bill and sometimes not. The very first bill I got didn’t come until 2 months after I had the service. Which makes everything behind. Today I called customer service to try and figure this out... The customer service rep wanted to tell me what she thought. Wanted to tell me I was wrong, which in turn made me angry. She wouldn’t listen, and was telling me my mail was stolen, my bill is late every month, also told me she was a well represented phone operator. Ok... then told me she wasn’t listening to me when my voice got loud. She was the one that was making me angry. I had asked to speak to someone else multiple times, she would not let me. She was a bully. I don’t appreciate this kind of behavior. Do better HTC if u want to keep your customers! I don’t appreciate being told my bill is late every month, when it is not. Terrible, terrible, terrible!!

HTC Corp will be a thing of the past within the next 50 years. Cant be glad enough. They are nothing more than a money hungry monopoly tyrant of cable/internet that rips people off. Can not say enough about the customer service.. we were having an issue with cell phone and TV service.. a technician was sent out within a few hours... his name was Will.. very nice, knowledgeable and had the problem fixed within minutes.I left a kudos for the young gentleman that was beyond courteous and knowledgeable on the phone survey... hope both these fine representatives of HTC receive acknowledgment
Telephone reps do not give complete details on cancellation process or if there is a charge for installation and the charge a large fee if you do canel.
30,000.00 dollars in damage to my home that they sub contracted and who the sub contractor sub contracted out. They assume no responsibility for action what so ever was told I would receive a credit on the account but instead received a past due bill and my internet being shut off. By the way the company they sub contracted to had no insurance so how is this legal and able to happen? I am so frustrated with these people and will tell everyone I encounter to avoid them at all cost.

From the time I called to inquire about WIFI service, to the installation of equipment at the condo, I was provided with the best in customer service by HTC. Darren Raven in customer service was excellent to deal with and when I accidentally hung up during our conversation and called back, the lady that answered the phone made sure that Darren got the message to call me back which he did promptly. The installation went quickly and smoothly with installer respecting my home by wearing a mask and taking off his boots upon entering even though I told him it wasnt necessary. Last but not least, my WIFI service is excellent. KUDOS to HTC and their entire staff.
These guys have been great with everything and have fixed mistakes right away no problem. Id give 4 stars but tech didnt show and didnt call when they was supposed to. Called htc and they got one out the next day no problem. Also had a billing error and they fixed that right away no problem no arguments. Very happy with them
Today is the last day to have this service!!! Ill keep the internet for now due to my Roku. But soon thatll be the end of that too!!!! Ive never been disrespected that many times by a company who needs business!!!! Never again!!!
Always raising cable prices. Cant pick just the channels I watch but have to pay for channels I dont watch. I am now just using the internet only. Maybe the big cable providers start to fail. Not happy with tv cable prices so goodbye to cable.
Had to get there services because they are the only one around unfortunately. From the beginning all its been is missed comunication. My fiance has told them they can speak to me and I have called so many time and he has put me in the person to speak with and they still saying they need him to give permission. Honestly I wish spectrum can come this way so I can switch in a heart beat.
Getting tired of picture always going out, or messing up. It usually happens during a show or movie Im watching. At least 2-3 times a week I lose anywhere from 15-25 channels for hours. I get a triangle on the screen with message/ this channel is not available at the moment, we are working on the problem. Internet is spotty at best as well.
Internet is good, basic cable and internet went up after a year and now it’s time to switch. $136 is to much to pay for basic and internet.
Just make sure you have time when you go..Dont argue or talk bad about your utilities companies.

On December 12,2019, HTC is cutting out my Internet Service.They quit with the Low Speed Internet, which Ive had over 10 years, and the only Internet they have now is the High Speed Internet for $59.95 per month. I was paying $32.95 per month and I cant afford the $59.95 per month. Thats a $27.00 rate hike, per month. Thats discriminating to its members that live on a fixed income.

Hey its HTC had trouble with my cable and intrnet one of there tech guys came out had it fixed it in just a sec very friendly very helpful. He new his job well he is a awesome young man Mr. Gearld is a fine fellow and a hard worker.
Kayla H, made switching from Spectrum to HTC very easy. She was very informative and explained all the fees, channels, and WiFi that will be included with HTC. We have scheduled installing for early next year IF HTC can keep the FoxNews contract.
HTCs going downhill customer service is hit or miss quality of services going down hill. I spend about $8,000 a year with HTC I may be just another number but if I have to switch to someone that actually cares about me Im sure theyll miss my money.
I am very pleased with HTC!! The customer service is good and the price isnt bad at all. I havent had any trouble at all since I went through them for wifi.
The people there were nice and informative. I just wish they would quit raising the price on thier services. Now were paying for services we dont have anymore, like on demand, they said thier still working on it. But you do have the option to go online and sign up for a different service to watch. Now they give us so called free Epix channels if you have a cable box. Well we got to enjoy those channels for a couple months. I go to watch the other day and it says no longer offer that service, but you do have the option to purchase the service. I already pay 153.00 a month just for cable and internet. The prices have been raised every year since Ive been a customer 10 years now. I like having cable but i think we should be able to choose the channels we want. We pay for channels i dont even watch. Its like wasted money. But they got ya. You want tv you have to pay the price for it. Sorry, just think the price is to high and shouldnt be raised every year.

Sick of their rising costs. We have basic and passport--no movie channels, but have a bundle with phone, cable and internet. I have never been with a company that raises prices every single year and says oh well when you call. Their on demand service provides absolutely nothing. Shopping around immediately! If anyone has suggestions on better way to go, post them.

Been a customer for over 20 years prices are outrageous. Im currently looking for a new establishment for my cable, phone, and internet services. They dont even credit when its their fault for interrupting your services in the middle of the day. Would not recommend them ever. You lost this customer htc.
HTC provides terrible service. Not an hour goes by without a interruption in internet service. My repeated phone calls have sometimes improved service for a short period of time but eventually service reverts back to frequent disconnections. The technicians are polite but never in agreement with each other. I have heard it all. If other providers were available at my address, I would have switched long ago. I have written two other reviews in my life but I intend to start writing reviews about HTC when ever I have an opportunity. I regret I should have to give them even one star, but this will not post without any star at all. Oh I just hit the post button but I am getting the message I have no connection.

Internet service is less then reliable. I have a problem with my internet at least two times per month and have for years. Theyve always fixed it and have never been rude to me so at least their customer service is decent enough. If I could go with another company I would but Time Warner is no better.
Cables too much, should be cheaper, but HTC has the lock in for service in parts Conway and we have no choice if we want cable !! We should be able to choose our own local service provider, other than Dish or Direct :(HTC, lower your prices for cable and extra fees for your services, like DVR rental, plus the Services, what the hell, isnt that why you pay extra for the DVR box, to get that services? Yes!!!But you still charge an extra fee, besides the the DVR box fee, for the Service .Unreal !!!!!Like you dont already make millions ripping us off already, shame on you HTC.......

Awful. Just awful. The only reason they have customers is because they lock you in by hoa. Literally the only choice, and they’re awful. I’ve been bound to HTC at 3 different houses, and it was bad every time. I have satellite so I don’t have to have their cable. The equipment is sub par, the customer service sucks, and if you don’t realize you missed the bill by 9 days, they cut you off. No calls, no emails. Over priced garbage with bad customer service. If there’s another option, (which if they’re in your neighborhood, there’s probably not becaus an hoa is getting a kickback) go with it. There is no worse.
Needs to hire people with disabilities permanent instead of only temporary when the employee does a good job and doesnt miss a day of work! Instead they hire temps who has less experience instead of hiring someone who is disabled but is well qualified and has been doing this job for 1 and a half years!!!
The Internet is extremely slow despite me upgrading it there is NO change! Beware of their bundle and save the prices online are different than if you actually break down a single service. I have home phone security and Internet and it was going to be ridiculously something like 186 a month!!! I went into the office and said why am I being quoted 30 dollars a month for a home phone Ill never use!? They claimed I needed it for the security system. I get that but Ill never use it or he long distance they threw in. So I told the, either give me the emergency phone which is literally like a penny a minute and can only be used for them to call you and you to call 911. They also tried to charge me full price for security when I already have the system in the house I bought. That monthly fee for monitoring was different online as it was on the pamphlet and on the commercial and I addressed that as well. That being said for 3 services and upgraded Internet I pay less than 60 a month. But dont plan on them calling you when they say, customer service is horrible. Multiple times including right now which is why Im doing this review I am waiting on them to call me back to move my modem and help me change my password. Ive been told 3x they will call me back and still have not. If you have the chance to go time warner DO IT!!! They have faster internet at a cheaper speed. I tried to get them again but Im not in their area

Only offer 6 month promo rates when competition offers 12 months, Rates are GOING UP again come March 1st, Packages need to be re-vamped to mirror other companies, Price per box is outrageous in comparison to other companies. Sad part - unless you go Satellite TV way - its them or TWC - - UGH frustrating - - Amazon Fire Stick is looking good

It is very rare that I get more than 5% of the guaranteed speeds, via ethernet or wireless. They have fixed it several times....That usually get me 60% for an afternoon. Wouldnt have them if there was ANY other option in my area.
My husband and I are thinking about switching internet companies due to they had to reset it on their end for the 5th time now in less than 30days. It is a great a company, but we are tired of the wifi going in and out. We pay our WiFi bill early always a month ahead. I work from home, need the internet. More it has issues the less work I get done.

Had to trade in a damaged Wi-Fi for my elderly father, the customer rep had to call my father who is hard of hearing to get permission to get the new WiFi, she was patient,professional and very nice.

Moved to SC from MA to an area only serviced by HTC and satellite. I called HTC and apparently talked to the shadiest sales rep they have. She quoted me for the cable service (around $30), internet (around $50 and failed to mention that was a promo price for 6 months...and its constantly in and out. Getting super fun trying to run a business with..that..), and the dvrs ($7 ea for 2). She also told me the only way we would enter into a 2 yr contract is if we added home phone. Now, Im finishing up what is apparently a 1 yr contract i had no idea i was in and a $172 bill every month.. I for the hell of it inquired about adding a home phone recently and they wanted to charge another $60 and start a new 2 yr contract.. My mind is blown.. Dish/DirecTV is lookin better and better every day...
Equipment issue
I wish I could give 1/2 a star. Maybe its just me but I have problems almost daily. Constantly slow to load I have fiber optic 20 upload and 10 down, and I can barely get a YouTube video or even a picture posted on Facebook to load. Sometimes doesnt load at all. Im not saying theyre horrible, but if they werent the ONLY option where I live I most definitely wouldnt have them as my provider. You would think for the outrageous prices for slow internet that they would try to help or at least offer something like credit to account when you have problems so much, but usually when I call the solution is lets reset it or maybe we can get someone out there in . I hate to be negative but I pay like $85 for fiber optic internet and a landline and usually the internet is crap, but hey always the optimist my landline always seems to work so they got that right. Im glad I didnt go with the higher speed package
