What can I say. Karl is that technician that you are looking for. Completely professional, knowledgeable, and most of all lets you know that he is there to help you. Its like having someone on the inside taking care of you like you are family. I wont use anyone else but Coastal Air & Refrigeration. All the techs that I have met since I started with them 2 years ago have been the same. I only wish I could source some employees like they have. Trust me, call them and just let them take over. You have enough to deal with, let them deal with this. You wont regret it.

From beginning to finish these guys did an amazing job. Josh came out, did a thorough inspection of our property, took into account what we wanted and gave us professional advice on what he would suggest. We checked other Mitsubishi elite dealers and these guys by far had the best price and the best customer service. We added 2 Mitsubishi Mini-Split units to our downstairs apartment, so far the units have been amazing and so much better and quieter than the in wall units we had before. One of the outside units is mounted right next to our pool patio and you can’t even tell it’s running it’s so quiet, you have to visibly see the fan spinning to know it’s running. The technicians that came out on install day, Ben and Adrián were professional and knowledgeable and got things done in less time than we were quoted. We wouldn’t hesitate to use these guys again.

A huge shout out to Coastal Refrigeration! My parents live in Myrtle Beach and I live in Utah. I work in the industry and they had asked me if I thought a tune up was important (which of course I think it is) so they scheduled with these guys. It is hard to have your parents so far away and hope they get treated right by people they hire. I used Coastal Refrigeration on May 10, 2106. They sent a technician out immediately, he was polite, professional and very competent. I would use them again anytime and recommend them to anyone who needs an excellent A/C repair shop. He was able to diagnose the problem which was somewhat unusual and make the repair. We had our HVAC system go completely out. Coastal came to the rescue! These guys are GREAT!They evaluated our home for our familys heating and cooling needs. They presented us with several different options and helped us to choose the right system to fit us and our budget. They even filed the paperwork for Santee Cooper rebates.The installation crew was very detailed orientated. They found and fixed a lot of mistakes that were made by the previous HVAC installers. Including a 2 inch screw that had been drilled through one of our copper lines.These guys put in a full 10 hour day! Even after the long day and all the unexpected things that they had to fix they took the time show me and my wife how to use our new system, including the super cool thermostat. They even helped me to set up the app for my phone to control new system.If anyone is looking for a professional and honest heating and cooling company Coastal Refrigeration are the guys to call!
