Al was truly amazing! My dryer went out at 10pm, with a house full of kids & animals this obviously created a dilemma. I looked on a few websites for a repair tech, at first glance it seemed it would be several days before anyone could come, plus nearly $500 in repair costs. I called Longhorn thinking that Id be lucky to get an appointment this week. To my surprise Al told me he could fit me in this evening, he promised to call is he was able to get me in earlier. Again I was happily surprised when he said he was in the neighborhood, ahead of schedule & could drop in if I was home. He quickly identified the issue that my heating element was burned out, he gave me a quote that was about half what everyone else said. Yet again I was happily surprised when Al said he had the part on his van (from past experiences the techs would have to order the part & it would take another few weeks). Al was able to take care of everything in about 30 minutes, and even helped to make sure my dryer vent was properly connected & clear of any blockages. To top it all off shortly after Al had arrived one of my neighbors who happened to be outside recognized him. My neighbor said he just calls Al for any issues, and had been having Al service his appliances for several years now.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. Alfonso and John came to repair my refrigerator/freezer late at night when (2) of my fridges went out. I spoke with Al this morning to get pricing on what we thought was wrong with our 10 year old dryer (heating element). Great Service!! Al called me back promptly after I left a voice-mail late Saturday. He showed up at the appointment time and diagnosed the problem. The parts had to come from Austin so I would have to take off from work on another day for the repair.. Another tech came from Austin and was able to bring the parts. My fridge stopped cooling. Contacted Longhorn through their website. Within an hour I received a call.Al was great. He diagnosed the issue quickly, but would need to order a part. Come out to my daughters at 10:00 p.m. Refrigerator/freezer stopped working and the refrigerator in the garage quit. Both was full of food.

Al was very professional, on time, and got the job done quickly. After the initial repair, the dryer stopped drying again, but Al came back and found the problem, which was a faulty wire, and fixed it. Al is wonderful and fixed our washer promptly. When he first arrived, he quickly realized he was given the wrong part. He was told it would take 5-7 days to receive the part. He continued pressing the issue and had the part and fixed our washing machine by the end of the day. He is very nice and professional. We would definitely recommend!

I submitted my contact info on Longhorn’s website and received a call within minutes....very nicely surprised. I have an older, but reliable and better at cleaning washing machine (with the agitation) and dryer, but needed to have them serviced, and equipped with new hoses and dryer vent, etc. I spoke with Al who happened to have an opening the next evening. He showed up on time and also called to keep me updated while on his way. He was very courteous and knowledgeable about my older machine and dryer. After replacing the new items (to include an updated plug on the dryer), he ran wash and dry cycles to make sure all was good. He also cleaned the machines up a bit. Our upright freezer was not freezing and our french door refrigerator was leaking. Al, from Longhorn, came out the same day I called, determined the problems and ordered the parts. This was Al’s second time repairing an appliance for us. The first was our washer and dryer. He gave us tools and tips on maintaining our washer and dryer. No issues since then... Buyer Beware!! I requested an appointment online and got a call back from the technician and received an appointment the next day. I asked for preventative maintenance to be done on my washer and dryer (Whirlpool) since my machines were almost 10 years old. I haven’t had any problems with these machines but I thought they needed a good cleaning and some TLC. The technician arrived prompt, was very professional and courteous. He opened up a compartment on the washer and within 5 mins of arrival- my machine had stop working. My breaker kept tripping in this newly developed housing area that I have never had problems with. I was already being charged over $300 for this service and now my machine is inoperable and won’t open. Smh. I kindly (maybe sternly) asked the technician to put my washer back together and leave.

What a very Professional Responding Company, Let me explain. I woke up one morning to find my freezer a (general electric model ) wasn’t working. When being told by others, that they wouldnt even be able to come and check out what might be wrong and be able to fix, Longhorn was at my home within an hour and I received fast and friendly service. Others were telling me that their next day show was to let me know what was wrong and when they would be able to come back and fix and they wanted a service call charge for this. As said, Longhorn was at my home and had me fixed within 2 hours. Would recommend to anyone wishing fast, friendly and reasonal service.

I’m just disappointed cause the professionalism is great but the quality of the repair actually lasting is not great at all. I’ve had to have Al out to my home 3 times . The first time In sep 2019 I was charged $160 to repair the dryer(my drying wasn’t heating ) within 2weeks the dryer stopped heating again .. I called Al he came out ASAP which is great and fixed it no charge .. Now 3/19 5 mths later the dryer stops again .I called al and was charged $160 to fix it .. it is now 5/22 and guess what dryer not heating ... $320 total for repair of my dryer for services to NOT Even last a yr .. I could have spent $300 on a new dryer at this point ..

Fast response from Al. I messaged overnight for my washer being extremely off balance during the spin cycle (sounded and looked like it would smash a hole in the wall.) Came in, took a look, and within ten minutes knew what the problem was (some type of drain sensor.) after he installed that he even stayed and fixed the footings of the washer to provide even better balance control. Fair price, fast work, honest. All three things I look for in any business that I want to keep going to.

Reviewed the problem beforehand with the forums, so I knew it must be related to the buttons or the electrical connections, which is beyond simple troubleshooting.Knowing this, the tech arrived and immediately said it was a problem too expensive to fix. A kindness on his part.What I took offense to is that a service charge was requested, something I was told would not be required if they couldnt fix it. I paid the gentleman, and went back to Samsung directly to find that only their certified techs can go over and make any official reports, something the company failed to mention (essentially just like an apple product).So I paid for something I was told I would not have to and all this for something I thought could simply be done over the phone for how little was done. Great service!Called the day before about my dryer turning off and on randomly. The day of, they called me because they were ahead of schedule and wondered if they could get it done faster, I of course said yes! Al was super friendly, diagnosed the problem in 15min and also fixed another problem that was causing the first problem (thus saving me more money). When my Freezer went out, everyone else that I called could not get to me till the next afternoon and that was to check what was wrong and quote a price and the time they could fix. Longhorn was at my home within the hour and had me fixed and running again within another hours time.
