I rented a mini excavator from the Conroe Tx location The pin that holds the thumb and the bucket to the arm fell out after approximately two hours of use. Called the 800 number spoke with a person explained in detail what had happened. The manager from a completely different rental facility across town (70 miles) Who was very helpful at getting in touch with the mechanic on my side of town. but unfortunately had to call him back the next day because I had not yet heard from the mechanic. The mechanic showed up without any tools or parts to repair the unit and in his personal vehicle, Upon arriving he told me he did not know what was wrong with it as they did not relay the message to him. Mechanic went and got a hose clamp from the auto parts store (props to him) to put on the pin to keep it from sliding out, however with the slop in the bucket didn’t take long to pop the clamp off and pin back out. But hey he gave me an extra one to put on in case that one didn’t last. The hydraulic line to the thumb kept popping out of the quick connect no less than 10 times, obviously I had to stop what I was doing get off and reconnect, very frustrating. When I called to have it picked up the associate I spoke to was very kind, when I explain to her about the trouble I had experienced, I felt like it was like “sorry for your luck “. I honestly felt like the mechanic had more sympathy about what I was going through with the machine. I gave them a number two ratting because the machine was very powerful.

Herc rentals in conroe is the best! I rent a 32 aluminum ladder from them frequently. Its less than $40/day. Other major rental places in conroe tx wanted over $100 per day!!! Ask for Cory. He knows his stuff and is friendly to deal with!

We own some property and needed equipment to find an underground septic line and water line.Hercs was the only place that had the equipment.It was easy to rent the equipment and the equipment was in good shape.The only problem is the employee that checked is out said the instructions were in the small black bag when we asked her about it.Well the directions werent there and we had rented it over the weekend and they are closed Saturday and Sunday. We wasted slot of time without the directions.They should have given us a little off our rental cost because of that.

I rented a log splitter on Friday. Used it over the weekend. This was a great piece of equipment and got the job done. Brittany assisted me with my rental process and was super helpful with getting additional information that I requested. Herc Rental is very accommodating. I strongly recommend renting from this place. Great rates and customer service.

I am in the customer service business and I try to be a courteous customer. They way I want my customers to treat our company. I try to establish a personal connection with folks I do business with and it seems to bring out the best experience for me and I hope the staff at Herc Rentals feels the same about me. I have rented twice now and have been treated excellent. From the initial point of contact (Brittany Burke) through delivery personnel and delivery customer service department. Picked up a one man lift loading employee offered help to tie down. Mechanic was pleasant to deal with.However staff other than that not great. Equipment was worn out and damaged was rigged to work at certain height .Not reliable and I would not rent as after this others have had bad experiences alsoIll stick to renting from Aztec Rental.

We have used Herc for most of our equipment rentals and have been satisfied with the service. Rentals can become a little expensive, but the equipment is in great shape.
