This is a great gym and the 1:1 consult and the group sessions are wonderful! Kian is a master coach and very motivating!
The trainers at Momentum Fitness are absolutely fantastic! I did their six week challenge and lost 22lbs and 5% body fat, and they helped me do it in a healthy and sustainable way.The atmosphere in the gym is wonderfully supportive and the classes are small enough that I felt I always got enough guidance and encouragement.if I could give them six stars I would! If you are looking for a new gym I HIGHLY recommend Momentum Fitness!!!
TFW Concord 6 weeks challenge is absolutely excellent. The meal and exercise plan is designed to make you feel interested and its definitely not restricted like some other ones I have done before, which helps with staying on plan with minimal effort. This place offer more than just a chance to loose weight - it offers professional advice, support, humorous stories and you will always feel like visiting a family plus the staff is super knowledgeable.

TFW 6 Week Challenge exceeded my expectations. Kian is an excellent personal trainer/coach, great meal planning assistance & helpful accountability. This is not “just a gym” you gain a great “gym family”. Very motivating, challenging and yes I made my goal so full refund or you have a few options if you meet all the requirements to roll over into a membership.Highly recommend will be back for another challenge later in the year!!!
After completing 2 previous weight loss challenges from other transformation centers, I had gained all my weight back. I was surprised to find out during the TFW signup that we were only required to workout for 3 days a week, without having to surrender my facebook over for advertisement purposes, like the other programs I have previously participated in. Both the gym and class sizes are relatively small, which means you get more one on one time with the trainers, and a family-like feel. I am in my mid-thirties, but their clients embody a broad range of ages, which felt really inclusive. The environment is warm and welcoming, and you get to know everyone real quick. I was pushed and supported by my coaches, and encouraged by my peers in every class.They also give you online access to a nutrition portal, with tons of delicious recipes to help you stay on track. Theres also a Facebook group to help keep you accountable, provide community support, and get any questions answered that you might have. I really liked that they give you continued access to the Facebook group and nutrition portal, even after youve completed the challenge!After my 6 week challenge, Im happy to say I lost over 17 pounds and 6.9% body fat!! The program isnt just designed to help you reach your weight loss goals. Additionally, they offer monthly tips, which are presented at the beginning of each workout to integrate healthy body, mind, and spirit practices. Kian and his family are genuinely good people, and you can tell that they are invested in helping you succeed. I highly recommend TFW if you are ready to change your body, and lifestyle in general. I came across this place just by chance. I was stuck at my previous weight and fitness level and saw this Facebook ad. I figured what the hell. I’ve been to several gyms over the years and it was always about lift lift lift, oh and don’t forget the treadmill!!! There wasn’t anybody to stear your goals unless you paid an additional astronomical fee and then would be lucky to get someone that actually knew what they were doing or really cared about your progress.Not this place. Don’t get me wrong, you do lift but that is just part of it. The most important is the nutrition and they harp on that and give you the tools to take care of business. They make sure you are doing each and every movement correct and to your proper level. I was remotivated each and every day I went, not because of the inner competition (which there was none) but because in a mere matter of weeks I felt great. Each workout is customized to individual needs and can be scaled as needed. I did not only meet my goals but surpassed and will definitely keep this journey going. I would recommend this gym (lifestyle) to any and everyone!!!!
Kian runs the best gym there is, great owner, great coach, awesome trainers and the best facility and did I mention how good the 6 week program is :-) Hands down the best
My experience with Training For Warriors 6 week challenge has been the best 6 weeks of my life. Kian, Heather, Marion, and the rest of the TFW team are definitely PASSIONATE and KNOWLEDGEABLE about what they do. The coaches has given me endless support with fitness and nutrition whenever I needed it. My goals also became their goals. With TFW, you get treated like family and not just a member. The energy presented by the coaches and other members as you walk in is what has given me the motivation to successfully complete the challenge.I can definitely say that this has been the best gym I have ever been to!
In early November my wife and I signed up for the 6 week Challenge with Kian (Yes, we did this through Thanksgiving). From the beginning, Kian’s energy and friendliness made it easy and exciting to join the gym. During the challenge, Kian and his team made every work out fun and energetic and I can see their energy rub off on all the members during each class. Although I would sometimes dread getting up and going to the workout classes, once I was in it, I was glad to be there. Their workouts can be tailored to every individual’s need/circumstance and they help you understand your limits while pushing you to always do better. The constant encouragement from the team and the other gym members makes you want to continuously push yourself and do better.Personally, I lost 24lbs (from 279.8 – 255.6) during the process and am hoping to drop another 20-30lbs to get to goal weight.The hard part of this challenge for me was the dieting portion (I may have cheated a bit during Thanksgiving but still maintained a healthy diet!). Although Kian makes it easy to shop, prepare and stick to the diet, my self-control is not the best. However, it is easy to make good tasting meals and the portions for me were sometimes too large to finish. During the mid-challenge check in, Kian reviewed my progress and gave me additional advice to stay on track and meet some personal goals of mine.At the end of the challenge, I was not able to stay on but my wife did. Kian was very understandable and never once was pushy or tried to get me to stay. He simply gave us the various options we could choose from and let us make whichever decision worked best for us. I am currently playing rugby and most likely will come back to join his gym once my season has ended.Overall, I think doing this challenge was a great decision and I would recommend Kian and his gym to anyone regardless of age, athleticism or physical limitations.
