Hartsell Funeral Home is a wonderful group of people dedicated to providing compassionate care and guidance during very difficult days. They were so kind and understanding and we really were able to leave everything up to them. They have wonderful communication and we were kept up-to-date on all of the details of our arrangements. The ladies in the office are especially efficient and helpful. We were so pleased with everything Hartsell did for us so please choose this caring family-run funeral home and avoid the big corporations.

I met with a man at the Concord location [cant remember his name] Monday about pre-planning my Mothers desires and I can say I was made to feel like dirt. Not once did he ask about my mother and once he understood I wanted a simple cremation [no visitation, no viewing, no graveside] he was done with me and robotic from there on out. Pointing at the paperwork he slid in front of me [then this is the one you will want]. 1837.00 PlusAs a former bishop of the Church of Jesus Christ LDS 2003-2009; Ive dealt with Hartsell many times and worked directly with Mr. and Mrs. Hartsell. Hartsell even buried my Brother in 1995 when me and my Mother had no money. I was in a lot of distress with my Mothers sudden decline in health so I may have been super sensitive. Maybe he was having a bad day, but I was totally set back by his lack of compassion for my circumstance.I just expected more and was very hurt by the entire experience. I had initially spoken to xxxxxxx and old friend and she was very compassionate and concerned. I called Carolina Cremation yesterday and am meeting with them today. Over the phone he was [Will at Carolina cremation] was a concerned and compassionate Director.
