My phone was not charging and the cause was not apparent. I took it over to them and explained what was happening and what I had done. They took action, replaced my charging cord and all is well.I’ve used them for a few “projects” and they have always come through. Sometimes the “cure” is unexpected but it works!

Called to inquire to have a battery replaced in an Iphone 6s plus, was told it would take about 30 minutes, went in and dropped off Iphone, came back 30 minutes later and it was done, works perfect. Great service and great price. Used them in the past and service was excellent.

I took my computer there multiple times, twice to replace the battery and once to restore water damage. The battery kept going faulty within half a year or so. I recently took it to another repair store and he showed me the inside. There were screws and parts missing from the time they restored it. At that time I had to keep calling and checking to see if they were working on it because they kept forgetting to. It took around three weeks to a month. There was also some tape and food in there when I checked it out recently. The guy looking at my computer was appalled and said that they were probably giving me cheap batteries and that no computer should ever look like that inside. Wasted a lot of money here don’t do the same.
They are completely unprofessional. Disposed of my hard drive and said they lost it. So ridiculous and then without my permission sold my computer because they “assumed that I did not want it back” keep in mind it was a new MacBook Pro. Do not waste your time here go to apple store.
I appreciate the staffs knowledge and they were able to resolve my issue quickly. I was told what she suspected to be the issue. She called me about 4 hours later to come and get the computer. Highly recommend this shop.

Very helpful, honest and good price! There was one person doing everything when I got there so it took a little longer than expected. There is a Peets coffee one block away and a park so I went there for a little while I waited. Parking in front of the location is free as well.

I have had outstanding service and pricing from these guys for years and years--since before the Concord store opened. From iPhone displays to iMac motherboard replacement, theyve never less than delighted me. They know Macs, love Macs, bleed Macs. Oh, and their store dogs are cool, too. Their Berkeley location is similarly outstanding.
Im sure the service is fine but their prices are horrific. Please look for another place if you have time and the patience as Im sure you can find a better deal

Their knowledge is good, the price is comparably fair, and their service is fast. I have had work done there a half dozen times on the kids I-things without problems.
I used them to fix a Mac book pro. They told me I needed to upgrade to a solid state drive for about $500. We did. A few months later upgrading OS my system hung up so I brought it back. They told me the system board was bad and the machine was toast.I then took the machine to Apple store and was told the system board was fine but the drive was bad! I emailed owner but no response.
Had fast service and the woman at the counter was very friendly.
Great support for me. Had a problem with my laptop and spent two hours with a newish employee. He was very help full,even backed up that was on the thing. Going in today for a new battery(mine lasted 8yrs and is due) would go back again and will.
Couldnt find the problem with my iMac and kept promising to work on it for most of a year...never heard back...kept calling and visiting leaving with the same promise. Finally asked for it back and found that they had forgotten about it and said that it had been collecting dust. They even asked me if anybody tried the first obvious fix that was tried when they first touched it a year ago. Waste of time. At least they did not charge me.
ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!! I brought in my laptop to change the battery. They said it’ll take 30 minutes to do. 4 days later it was ready. Not the problem. The problem here when I came to pick it up. There were scratches and dents ALL OVER the back on my laptop!!!!! I had a cow!! This is a brand new MacBook!!! They blamed me and said that I probably brought it in like that!! ARE YOU SERIOUS!??!? Absolutely unprofessional place!!! I’m sooo livid!! Michael then offered me a new back for free. I went to pick it up and there’s STILL DENTS AND SCRATCHES!!!!! No!!! I will be filing a lawsuit and shut this place down. They did this to the wrong person.
They may be O.K., but my experience wasnt great. Im fairly able on my tech work, but I know I dont know all so I brought it in.My Mac was slow & they said the hard drive cable was out. $160. I instead bought a cable for $25 & installed it. Still didnt work. I called Anthony from Convoy to look at the computer. It wasnt the cable. It was the hard drive.. I bought a brand new 320gb hd for $25 and my computer works great.Keep in mind that if I did spend $160 for the cable and it didnt fix it, my $160 would go towards a new hard drive. Great, but a new hard drive is $25.I blame myself because I could have diagnosed a bad hard drive, but I thought it was something else. I should have just checked myself, but for a pro to not figure out the hard drive is bad? Come on. If I wasnt so lazy, I would have diagnosed this and fixed it in less than 30 minutes. Im stupid, but Im not a pro. They should have caught that.
I have a 5 year old MacBook Pro and a week ago it stopped working. The screen would not light up.I took it to the Apple Store in Walnut Creek and was told that I needed to get a new one, as it would be a waste to put more of my money into such an old laptop.I took it to Fix that Mac in Concord and talked to Tyler, the store manager. He took the initiative to trouble shoot various components to determine the problem. He said that I would be best to spendthe $310 to have my laptop repaired by Apple.I received it back from Apple and took it back to Tyler to make sure everything was ok.I now have a laptop that will last me several more $200.I gave Fix that Mac a 5 star rating. They saved me almost $1,000 over getting a new laptop anddid all of this at no charge to me.When the hard drive eventually goes out Tyler will replace it and I will double the memory of mylaptop.Great advice and a caring company.

If you have $55 that you arent quite sure what to do with, by all means take your computer to this place. Because theyll keep you computer for a really, really long time, not fix it, AND youll have spent that $55 burning a hole in your pocket. Stick with the Apple store for repairs. Thank me later.
I normally dont write reviews. I am so upset about the way I was treated and the way the technicians handled my $1000 device.When I went in to fix that Mac it was Friday 1 hour before they closed. I showed the guy there my cracked phone and asked if they could fix it. He said yes and it will be done in about an hour. So I left and came back. The screen was fixed and the battery was on 1% which was curious. He said it was fine. Just go home and charge the phone. So I did. The phone never charged. I went back told them they said that they only swap the screen and that the battery must be broken or dead. U told them its a new phone and that the battery was fine before I got there. He said come back in an hour and he will try to fix it. So I did. When I came back they said they accidently broke my phone. They said that when you mess with the screen on my type of phone that you can ruin the battery. They said they didnt know that until my phone was broke. So I was there guinea pig. It took them 1 week to fix my phone. They didnt call me. I had to call them every step of the way. They were supposed to send it out for service on Monday. That never happened. Luckily I had another phone. But what the heck! When I finally got my phone back they refused to give me a refund. They wouldnt give me any of my money back. I told them this was all their fault. This was supposed to be 1 hour. This was my work phone. I had a terrible week without that phone. They dont care. They said they would give me a discount on my next device. I WOULD NEVER BRING ANYTHING TO THESE PEOPLE AGAIN.DONT BE FOOLED BY THESE SO CALLED EXPERTS.

Terrible service, at best, decent customer support.1) They held my hard drive for over 2 months without ever getting back to me.I dropped of my hard drive to be recovered and was told that I would get a phone call in about a week to go over my options and for me to clear them on expenses to proceed. Three weeks later I called and was told I would get called back when the guy working on my HD got back from his lunch. Never got called. This repeated a few times, I got busy and forgot about it. Over two months from the drop off I went in to ask about it and was told that I would get a call after someone else looked at it. At the end of the week, no call, I went in and picked it up. After it took 5 employees looking around in the back they procured my HD and gave it back to me. They dont know if it was worked on. At least they didnt try to charge me for holding my HD needlessly for over 2 months.2) Much smaller problem, but a few years back I went in and told them that my hard drive cable had failed. They didnt believe or just wanted an excuse for more labor expenses, but insisted they would have to check the hard drive. I repeated that it was cable, but when I received my receipt they charged me for checking the hard drive. Turns out it was the cable, who knew?Dont go here if you have any other option, even with a longer drive.
Recently I had a Mid-2011 iMac go black screen on me. Tyler at Fix that Mac knew that Apple had a special coverage fix for the video card. Well, thanks to him, Apple totally gutted my iMac under that quality program and handed me back a new iMac. Yes, I tipped him!Before this and after, I have used their repair services to great effect on my collection of Apple products. This is a hearty five star endorsement.KBS

I came in here on 6/8 to get my laptop fixed. It is 7/6 now... nearly a month later, and i am still without resolution. Problems:1) i was told 3 days to fix (5 max if they got busy)2) they NEVER call to update or say what is taking so long3) when I call I am ALWAYS told it should be ready later today and if not, tomorrow morning at the latest (I have been told this a total of 8 times.)4) they charged full price despite (a) having taken 6 times as long as they said the max wait would be and (b) they still havent even finished pulling my files for my laptop. So i am without all the files i need for school and work.All in all I am appalled by the service here. The two who work here are nice and personable, however the ethics and customer treatment is amongst the worst ive ever experienced.
