I would give more stars if I could. They completely fixed my laptop (MacBook Pro) - It is essentially brand new and in better shape then when I purchased it. They gave me a detailed breakdown of all of the issues and fixed it within a week which I thought would take longer due to supply chain issues but I got lucky. Very professional staff. I couldnt recommend more.

I’ve been a client of macVolks since the mid-1990s. Their high level of professionalism and customer service is a rare find these days. They have helped me with computer maintenance, upgrades and advice over the years. Even though Ive moved 475 miles away, I still rely on them for computer technical assistance. macVolks recently assisted me with a computer upgrade making the data transfer and set up process smooth and stress-free for me. My macbook air wouldnt turn on and after changing the battery and it still wouldnt work i needed help. I took it to apple and they pretty much said its totaled so after i heard good things about macvolk i took it there. Chiara helped me make my appointments and all i did was drop it off and pick it up. They fixed it for much cheaper than i have seen anywhere else for how professional they are. I would highly recommend to get the most out of your apple products.
BEWARE DIAGNOSTIC FEE! MacVolks charges a $110 diagnostic fee just to look at your computer, which you have to pay whether or not they repair your machine. This means that even if Apple agrees to cover the repair and labor, MacVolks still charges the diagnostic fee. Because they’re a third-party, there’s nothing Apple can do about the fee. I spent a long time on the phone with Apple Support about this, and even their representative said it sounded sketchy. If I’d just dealt with Apple directly the repair would’ve been 100% free. I’d recommend always going straight to Apple first (where the “diagnosis” is free) and only going to a third-party if Apple can’t fix the issue.
I literally have no idea how this place has such bad reviews. THEY ARE INCREDIBLE. I am leaving the country and wanted my screen replaced due to manufacturing defects. From the minute I called, Chiara knew what the problem was, explained the process, told me it could be done before I left (which Apple couldnt do) and told me I could drop off ASAP. Every time I went (pick up and drop off), Chiara was extremely helpful and thorough with the process and just really important general Mac information. She also called me with updates like when my parts were ordered and came in so I had a approx time frame when I could pick up. My mom already grabbed a few cards to pass out to her friends. Computer is back and its perfect! Highly highly recommend.
