When I had my 530 I BMW towed into the shop under a State farm claim they had told the insurance company that they couldnt get the hood open which is weird to me because there was nothing wrong with the hood and they said it was because the battery was dead well its a 2001 and you dont need a battery to even pop that hood they never informed me that they were having an issue with getting it started because before I brought it in I told the lady at the desk that the battery was not holding a charge and that they would have to jump it to move it they also never informed me that they didnt know what the damages were they never called to ask me you know they decided to call the insurance company and ask them instead like they would know Im very unprofessional working with insurance companies like like the customers that fault found a great place to take my car no issues

I always hated getting my car fixed! You feel like a number or no one cares. Basically you need to know someone in the business. SO heres WHERE YOU GO and WHO TO ASK for in the East Bay!!!!Ask for Matt, depending on your insurance you might get another adjuster but just ask anyway. Hes quick, listens to what you want (yes ladies..a man that listens) and calls and keeps you up to date on your car.Next ask for Jesse to work on your car. Hes a car technician that takes pride in his work and has over 20 + years experience. Im really picky and he did a great job.In a nutshell.... I dropped my car off within a few minutes and picked it up within a few minutes. They also gave me a ride to where I needed to go. The guy was really friendly and offered to pick me up when the car was finished. Great customer service!My car was detailed inside and out. No check engine lights were on! Im happy!!
I needed an estimate for some body work. My Farmers agent suggested Jims Auto Body. Everyone was very pleasant, and while I didnt have an appointment, I was helped immediately. They reviewed my car, and gave me an honest opinion on my various options. They didnt try to convince me to have work done, that in the end wouldnt be worth it. They also had one of the cleanest waiting rooms Ive ever been in, for a body shop. Next time I need body repair, I will definitely go to Jims Auto Body again.

After my relatively new car was nailed by some road debris that hit my bumper, bounced up my hood and smacked my windshield, I procrastinated when Covid hit and didn’t go get it taken care of right away. Said road debris left me with an unnoticed chip under a windshield wiper that I didn’t notice until I had a runner crack that ran from up under the wiper and straight across my line of vision. So in October I went to Jim’s Auto Body.The repairs performed left my car looking like new again. 5 star review came easy....And now for the rest of the story:It is now January, and I took my car in for service at Concord Honda. One of my issues was that the washer fluid no longer dispensed (it stopped after the body work, Jim’s ran diagnostic and said all was fine, take it to Honda). Because the body work was not performed by Honda, they wouldn’t cover it under my extended warrantee. The hose was unplugged under the bumper. I went to Jim’s Auto Body, paperwork in hand, thinking that maybe I could squeeze a car cleaning out of them.To my surprise, they cut me a check to reimburse me for almost $200.00 that Concord Honda charged me to plug the hose back in! You just don’t find Customer Service and High Quality repair work that often anymore, especially in this Covid world.So Thank You, Dana and Jim’s Auto Body for restoring my faith that my business and satisfaction mean something. I would give more stars than 5 if I could
I called in at 4.30pm and it was already time for them to start closing, justin was the person I spoke to on the phone and asked about releasing a vehicle at that time and told him that my driver got stuck in traffic who was supposed to be there earlier and he advised me to come on down and he will make it happen. Well I appreciated that he without a question helped me out and even it was friday evening and all those who worked there was not mad on him, like why did you let this guy in and they had to stay back extra couple minutes. I thought thats what a A class customer service could be if people have the right intentions. Thanks.
I had an accident in 2019 in my new car. The staff at Jim’s were very friendly and helpful and even though the work took longer then was expected to be completed they communicated with us and got the job done well! There was only one small issue involving a rattle in the door (which is still there) - I took it in to them to check it and they tried but if course it didn’t make the noise when they were in the car! Lol. Great place!

I Called before I driven all the way out there to get an estimate for my vehicle they made me drive all the way from Oakland to Concord before they pulled out my information after I provided it initially on the original phone call. then They told me since I already had a previous estimate from a different shop they wouldn’t go ahead and offer an estimate but they wouldn’t provide that information over the phone to me. they made me drive all the way over there waste of my time gas and effort and then didn’t even have the respect to offer me an estimate quite the opposite they were quite punctual and unprofessional about it and they basically told me to go away

Came for insurance fix. Staff is very friendly but actual repair was not great. Took them way too long to fix for just a bumper. (Had a nice rental so cant complain) when I received the car the parking sensor was falling out and the grill that they replaced was the same one that was still cracked. They did order a new so have to go back again and get it fixed. They just need to take more time to make sure everything is good before sending the vehicles out.
I wanted various parts of my honda civic fixed. i mentioned the brown & white scuffed on paint on both the left & right side of my car. my bumper also sticks out a bit. i was told not to bother getting a whole new bumper for $1,000 and i agreed. so i thought they’d fix that, they didn’t. why was i still charged so much, when 3 of the things i mentioned you didn’t fix? or even care? jeez...

I had dried paint on my hood from a parking garage dripping paint form the ceiling. I couldnt get it off but Jims did it without a charge. They saved me hours of work dealing with this. And they have a nice shop with a nice waiting room.

Highly recommend getting any kind of repairs!I brought my 2015 Toyota Corolla in after someone ran into my bumper and left without leaving any info.I have AAA insurance and Jims was on their list so I felt comfortable getting the estimate and work done in one trip.The whole staff was very professional, I worked with Dana Auld and he was compassionate to my situation, which made me feel better, and had my estimate completed in less the an 1/2 hour. He told me it would probably take three days but there could be more damage once they removed the bumper. Great communication with both estimated time and unanticipated problems.(AAA also accepted his estimate and all I had to do was pay the detectable at time of pick up. I was also verbally told accepted forms of payment so there were no surprises!)I brought the car in on a Monday. Tuesday at around 10am Dana called saying there was more damage, which he warned me may happen, and said it would take an extra day but should be ready by Thursday. Wednesday eve he called and said it might not be ready but hed call me early Thursday morning. (We were getting hit by a major rainstorm and it was backing them up) Since I had the rental till Friday I said no worries. Thursday at 9am Dana called to tell me my baby was all fixed and ready to be picked up!!!I was updated daily and knew what was happening without ever worrying about having to call and check up.I picked my car up that afternoon. They also let me leave the rental car and they would take it across the street to return (Hertz) if you know how crazy Monument BLVD gets this was a HUGE bonus!I was outta there within about 15mins, happy with the whole process!Exceptional craftsmanship, Excellent communication, front office staff friendly and quite knowledgeable.I would take my car there even without the insurance coverage!! Cant recommend Jims Auto Body enough!!!!!
Excellent work. Dana was my estimator. He kept me updated on my vehicle, parts, and finish time. This is a great place if you have to take your vehicle to a bodyshop.
Had insurance work done here, and overall had a good experience. There was a discrepency with the final price and paperwork, but in the end the manager made it right which is all I can ask for. The work was solid and was the best for the vehicle.

THIS IS PART 2 OF MY EXPERIENCE AT THE WALNUT CREEK LOCATION THAT SENT ME HERE.I decided to let progressive pick a body shop for me they went with Jims in Walnut Creek well work was less than amazing and I had to bring my car here to get my windshield replaced and to finish removing the paint from my car that the Walnut Creek location didnt do. Well I get the car windshield looks good paint was remove to their standards (not mine, much rather the car got totaled than to pay them anything to touch it). I get in my car and it is full of trash. The backs to the stickers or adhesive was all over my car once the windsheild was off all the depree flew into my car and not one attempt was made to pick up the strips or vacum. (at this point I was just happy to get away from Jims so I said nothing they also informed me they sent it somewhere else to get fixed) I get home and guess what my windshield wipers are now scratching up the windshield anytime I turn them on. I contact Jims and they tell me well replacing your windshield has nothing to do with your wipers, we didnt touch them I said so you dont have to move them not one bit to install a windshield? I contact Progressive who is not on my side at all (this would be my 3rd time going back to Jims) they tell me what Jims will and wont do which blows my mind. My only option given by the manager was bring my car all the way back to Concord (also to Jims period for the 3rd time for repairs) or take my car somewhere else pay any out of pocket fees present them with a bills and proof of fix and they would pay me back. At this point I cant believe my own insurance company is telling me this. But I have no choice it was going to rain the next day. I go take my car all the way back to Jims for them to say omg I have never seen anything like this they then bring my car back and say WE ACCIDENTALLY PUT YOUR WIPERS ON BACKWARDS. no Im sorry no my apologizes for saying we never touched them. Just we put them on backwards and they walked away.
