Love the old fashioned style, the vibe, the quality of work is excellent. I also understand that they had to raise the prices 50% to survive, but at this point, the business is back to normal and it is time to go back to more reasonable pricing, not original $15-$16, but certainly less than what we pay now. If that happens soon, i will give them 5 stars.

I have been going here for years and have never received a bad cut. The women working here are very friendly and make you feel welcome. I highly recommend.

I’ve been going there for the past twelve years. I don’t live near there anymore, but still take the drive there for a haircut. They are hands down the the best I’ve ever had.

Ive been going here for over 15 years. Its an old school style barber shop. You always got a good hair cut at a good price... until recently. They are claiming the landlord keeps raising rent. But, for the longest time, I always paid $ 15 for a hair cut and then would tip the barber $ 5. Then hair cuts went up to $ 16. No big deal. Until two months later. Now they were $ 18. I just went today and I was charged $ 22! So the price has increased by nearly 50% in less than a year. Fuggedaboutit!

If you want quality work, craftsmanship and barbers with pride in their work, then this is the place for you.Have been going here regularly for years and have used many of their barbers ( who dont only work for there for 6 months and then leave) and they are the best. All have experience and a love for what they do.The hot towel and shave is superb if you have the time (roughly about 30 minutes). Beware - only cash. The register is made of wood, that should give you an idea of what this place is like.A diamond in the rough.

Terrible haircut. Rushed and poorly done. Asked for a basic fade. Not only did I not get a fade but I was overcharged. 28 dollars. Was told because I had my face shaved. Never happen. He took the buzzer to my face very briefly. did not line my hairline or do much it her than unevenly cut my hair.This is fine for older folks who dont know better. I guess.Go elsewhere. 20 bucks tops and you get a shave with a razor and shaving cream.and someone who know how to cut hair.

Sal was so great with my Special Needs son who cannot sit still for a minute. He had a good understanding of what his needs were, distracted him, was patient and gave him a great haircut too. My other son had a different barber who really took his time and shaped my sons hair so well - more like a salon cut than a barber cut. Highly recommend!

Master barbers are hard to find on Long Island, this is the place to go if you want to get a haircut by a master barber. Mark is awesome and always gives high quality haircuts. Will always go to Commack Corners.

Wow. do you remember the days when you knew your Barber and they knew you? first time at this establishment and they have completely won me over on my first cut. first of it was busy, but everyone that walked in was obviously a regular. the wait did not take long at all either. there were easily 10 barbers. the owner Manny welcomed you at the door and arranged for you to see your regular guy or to be partnered up with the next available barber like i was as a walk in. the man who cut my hair, Paolo, was knowledgeable and very friendly. he cut my hair as well as the barber who had been cutting my hair for over 15 years...just outstanding. just be aware it is cash only, and like one of the reviewers mention, this place is old school, wood drawer cash register to proove it. definitely coming back, the old school sicilians in there won me over.
