Some areas that looked like mold was discovered in our attic. Rick was very quick in responding and worked around our work schedule to come estimate the extent and quote the remediation.They were able to respond quickly and they sent a man who spent the better part of a day to work on the problem. The second day they sent 3 men out to make sure they got it all on the first trip. After a thorough inspection of the remediation they came out a third time and sprayed the entire attic with a product that is supposed to encapsulate the area. Rick consulted with us on what needed to be done to ventilate the area to make sure the problem would not come back. Price was reasonable, service unbelievable, and they left us very confident our problem is gone and in the past.They asked for no money up front, and did not send a bill until we were 100% satisfied with their work. We would definitely use them again, hopefully we will never have to.

Wow! PuroClean was highly recommended to me by a family friend, and Rick far surpassed my expectations. I was having a difficult time when attempting to re-fi my home as my new mortgage company was requiring a licensed mold inspector visit my home. After doing some digging I discovered that Ohio does not license inspectors and after some back-and-forth with my mortgage company, the deadline to have the mold on the exterior of my home remediated and inspected (to be able to complete my re-fi) on time was looming.PuroClean came out ASAP, inspected the exterior of my home, kept in constant contact, provided the letter requested by my mortgage company, and subsequent revision (after the mortgage added more required information not previously disclosed) so quickly that I did not miss my original closing date.I had the privilege of speaking with Rick directly and cannot sing his, or his companys praises enough.While I hope I will not need PuroClean services anytime soon, if something does come up, I know who my first and only call will be to!

I used PuroClean for some mold removal and am very satisfied with their service. Everyone from the initial contact to final removal was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I am performing the final repairs myself (insulation and drywall) so I can only speak to the team and the actual removal, but I plan on using them again for any mold remediation in the future.

Tony clearly explained procedure to remove the moisture from my hardwood flooring after a water leak from my refrigerator. Nick came each day on time to check the progress of the drying. From the initial call to the company to the very end of the project, everyone was knowledgeable, courteous and prompt. I would hire them again if needed.

Nightmare of an experience from beginning to end. Another company recommended Puroclean to address water damage under a sink that hadnt been repaired properly. It was very difficult to even get a call back from Puroclean, and the communication didnt get better at any point during the process. They didnt communicate with the handyman before ripping out the cabinet as I insisted they do and as a result let us without a functioning kitchen for days. Insult to injury, they were deceptive in billing and are trying to increase the agreed upon price after the original invoice was paid.

Tony called us immediately and came over to assess what needed to be done. He helped us to feel comfortable and understand how to fix the water damage. He was easy to reach and followed up with the work along the way. Very thankful we got their contact information.

We had the unfortunate experience of an oven fire that left everything covered with soot. The ceiling needed painted, the ducts needed cleaned and everything needed to be cleaned (furniture, walls, pictures, etc.). My garbage disposal sprung a leak. There was water all underneath the cabinet sink down to the finished basement ceiling and carpet. Everything with my experience was great!!! Tony was able to show up for an inspection to quote within 90 minutes of our phone call. Excellent service. This is the 2nd time Ive had to use PuroClean. Columbus had record rainfall and PuroClean had tons of calls. Although they couldnt get out to my property right away, Jodi followed up with me every couple of days to check with us. The water had rescinded in my basement so i didnt have an emergency.When they did come they were prompt, respectful and through.Would highly recommend them

They did good at the start but then when they started mopping they didnt change out the water and they kept using the black water so we asked them if they could change the water and the one guy named Dylan said not to change it. The other guys was good and he agreed it should be changed. Then they said they were out of cleaner and wouldnt go to get any more. We asked them if they could go and get some but they said no. Dylan then threatened to take all the equipment out and stop the job before it was even finished. This was very frustrating and then they just left. Dylan also kept calling people on his phone for some reason. The other did a good job but I would definitely not recommend Dylan. They did not act professionally and yesterday they were supposed to come and check the water but they did not.

This company knocked it out of the park from start to finish! Thank goodness for their care and professionalism especially in such a critical time if need! Nick was first on site and everyone that followed was amazing!

I could not possibly be anymore disappointed in this company. After a month, I had to terminate them because the work was horrible. The mitigation team did a great job, but the repairs side of things is the absolute worst. I have paint all over EVERYTHING. Furniture, fixtures, trim, carpet, ceiling, and the list could go on. The trim has nails not fully pressed in, the corners have gaps, there are gaps between the flooring and the 1/4 round not to mention after having a month to complete the job it was no where near complete. The flooring, oh, the flooring, well, there are gaps in my luxury vinyl flooring which completely defeats the purpose of having LVT. Not to mention, they made scratches in what is supposed to be scratch proof LVT. I could write a list of all the wrongs, but I will finish with this: just know you could do a better job yourself whether youve ever done a DIY job or not!1.9.19 It is great that the owner made a response to my post on Google, but did not once respond to more than 15 emails on the topic. It is fine to make your post to sound like I was extremely picky and that the issues would have been resolved on punch out, but the more work your company performed, the more issues that arose. Not to mention, after a month, they were no where near complete and would not show up to the job and if they did, they would spend the shortest amount of time on the job as possible to consider themselves there. I wish the pictures I posted would show up here, because the proof is in the pictures.

The Puro clean team was very professional. I was introduced to them through my home insurance when we needed to file a claim due to water damage of our kitchen floor. They isolated and removed the problem areas and checked each day on the process until the areas were completed. The crew was very friendly and polite. Now we can move to the next step of adding the new floor. Would recommend and will be using them again for a water damaged area in our bathroom.

Not an easy mess to manage, with what these young men took on! PuroClean is was recommended by our basement waterproofers. They came out and inspected our mold situation and gave us a reasonable estimate for remediation. The workers called before coming and worked around specific times we could be available. They gave us a thorough explanation of each step in the remediation process and worked quickly and efficiently. Everyone we dealt with was polite and extremely professional. I would not hesitate to call them again and I plan to contact members of their rebuild team for additional painting and repair for additional areas.

Rick Gutridge is an amazing professional. We called him for a second opinion after our condo experienced water damage. We explained that our association had retained a restoration specialist and we had no reason to question their capability but that we would feel better to have someone we retained guide us. Rick inspected our home, attended a separate inspection with the insurance adjuster (which required waiting about 45 minutes), prepared his own estimate for restoration and worked with the insurance adjuster to correct his estimate. He answered our questions with clear, direct advice. He also guided us to a solution that did not involve him making any money. We had to insist on him sending us a bill for his time. When he did - it was only for $89. Rick was a capable, generous professional during a very trying time for us.

My only complaint, is that they were in such demand, I had to wait a couple of days, but when they got here, they got carpet and bookcase out of wet basement in no time, left dryers and dehumidfyer that all did a great job. On Monday morning I was promptly called back by Judy and was scheduled to have Rick out to our place on noon Tuesday. Rick made it out ahead of schedule (which is always nice), greeted me, and removed his shoes at the door at my request. He was very polite, professional, and courteous.After exchanging pleasantries, I showed him where the issue was and he checked the affected area, the basement, and crawlspace and told me my issue looked like itd be a simple fix. He made his recommendations, told me how to address the issue myself since it was such a small problem and never attempted to up-sell me or scare me into paying for additional services.I dont know about you but contractors can be notorious for up-selling and whatnot. So when I find a businessman/contractor who is honest and not trying to make a quick buck, I am loyal. Service this good is rare these days! Have used PuroClean a couple times for different items - everyone is super professional, pleasant, accommodating, efficient - I cant say enough good things. Rick, Tony and everyone else involved are terrific. USE THEM! :)

My basement had significant mold damage almost half-way up the walls. I called several companies to come out and look at the damage and give me estimates. Rick (the owner) actually came out. He took the time to explain to me exactly what they would do to remediate the problem and why. He was very knowledgeable and thorough and shared why what he planned to do would fix the problem permanently without additional work that was recommended by 2 other companies. I hired him. His people showed up on time, were very courteous and respectful of my home, and completed the job on time as promised. I have since recommended Rick to anyone I know who has had similar problems. EXCELLENT!

I have worked with Rick for the past six years on more than 30 claims. His staff is always very professional, very kind and go above what I would expect. I had one customer who hired another company (she called them before she called me) and was scared to let those employees into her house. She cancelled with that company and called Ricks company. She called me back to rave about the employees and the great job they did saving the drywall and carpet in her basement. If you need someone to come and take a look at the water damage at your home or business call Rick. You will not be disappointed.

If you’ve ever had a flooded basement, you know what a hassle and mess it is.  My sump pump stopped working (unbeknownst to me for almost a week) and I needed help fast considering how long water had been sitting in my basement. My insurance agent recommended a company called PuroClean. I had never heard of them, but it was absolutely the best company I could have used and some of the nicest, most professional people I could have asked for!First, PuroClean returned my call within 30 minutes—which never happens these days with any company. My experience has been that If I want a quick response, I’d better call the company myself unless I want to wait a few days or even weeks to get a returned call.Second, PuroClean offered to come out by noon, which is only two hours after I placed my initial call. By 2 p.m., everything was assessed, so that means that in less than four hours, they not only followed up but came to my house and determined what was needed!Tony Moore was the point person who followed up and visited my home initially to assess the basement.  He was professional and personable. Throughout the process, he answered every single question honestly, made useful suggestions, described the process and later, always emailed, texted or called me within minutes of my inquiries. I’ve honestly never seen anything like it!As for the two gentlemen who came out to handle the labor—Kevin and Phil—they cut out and removed the carpet/foam, sorted through the rummage, bagged items, scoured through loose items on the basement floor, etc., etc., etc. They listened to every single request I made and followed through perfectly. Then once everything was dry, they even helped me put the salvaged items back in place.Can I just say that they were marvelous, fantastic, extraordinary and phenominal!!! And they were kind, polite and respectful, too--something I don’t expect—or normally get--these days.  Of course, they were professional and personable as well, but two simple words are not enough to do them justice or accurately describe them or their work.Most people who know me will tell you that I am a ridiculously, extremely picky person, and have done more of my share of complaining about the lack of customer service and good work I receive. They’d tell you that I am someone who demands excellent service in all things am will address any situation when it’s not there. However, when I experience wonderful service, I am more than willing to address that, too, which is the reason for this review.So in summary, yes, a flooded basement is a terrible thing, but meeting Tony, Kevin and Phil was the silver lining to this catastrophe. Sunday morning while I was away on vacation I received a call from my daughter that no one wants. Our basement was flooding! I quickly called PuroClean and they showed up within an hour! I explained that we were moving next weekend and they kicked into high gear. Dennis was exceptional and took care of everything. He also scheduled our carpet and padding to be replaced, all completed by Wednesday- thanks to JD! It was such a relief knowing there are still good people and companies that care about their customers!

I just got off the phone with a Jim/John(my phone cut off) who stated they they didnt need my business because theyre so busy and to call others. That was the first thing they said when they picked up the phone. My recommendation, dont bother giving this company business at all.

Our excellent experience with PuroClean wasn’t just limited to the job they did in our home but included the incredible customer service with each and every contact person, through the process. Tony came out to our home and gave us a VERY clear picture (and also understanding) of what needed to be done and what didn’t. My husband and I felt relieved to have someone to with us, not AT us regarding a project this size.Our insurance adjuster highly recommended them as she had sent them to her parent’s house at one point. We were impressed with the team that was sent, and completely taken back when the guys (Kenny, especially) fully embraced my five year old and his incessant desire to “help” the crew. They gave him “jobs” and really made him feel like he was ‘part of the team’. He even drew them a picture of all of them working, together!Thank you all, so much!
