My wife and I hosted our wedding at Graystone on September 4th, 2021, and it was everything we hoped for. We received tons of compliments about the venue, with the old European feel that you get in the wine cellar. The food was excellent, and all of our guests loved their meals. Brian at Graystone was amazing to work with, and let us shape the event exactly how we imagined it. The rest of the staff were excellent as well, with friendly service all throughout the night. We were able to execute the ceremony exactly how we wanted, arrange tables and seating to our own designs, and during both the ceremony and reception we were able to play our own music through our iPad on Graystones great sound system. Many of our guests told us it was the best wedding theyd ever attended. The whole night went perfectly, and Graystone will always have a special place in our hearts.

The Greystone Wine Cellar was the perfect place to have our wedding and reception. From the first time we visited, we knew it was the venue for us. We loved the intimate atmosphere and unique limestone walls.We appreciated the convenience of having the ceremony and reception in the same building and how much décor already existed. There was truly little we needed to do in that regard. Brian is true to his word when he says he offers fair, straightforward pricing and the highest quality menus and service. Having so many pieces of the wedding handled by one vendor made planning so much simpler.Brian’s relaxed and professional approach immediately put us at ease when making the decision as to where we would celebrate our big day. Our guests had a wonderful time and couldn’t praise the food and venue enough.The only little glitch that we had was that we had requested a dairy-free chocolate cake on our dessert display due to a family member’s allergy. A couple of days before the wedding, we found out they could do gluten-free, but not dairy-free. If we had more time, I probably would have tried to make other arrangements. But this was just a small miscommunication.The whole team of people who work went out of their way to meet our every need and were on top of everything. We cant thank them enough for everything they did on the day to make our wedding so special.

We had our wedding here recently and it was incredible! I couldn’t say enough about this amazing venue! It’s beautiful, intimate and accommodating! Brian was a one man show due to the pandemic and he was amazing! I will definitely use this venue again when the time comes and encourage everyone to book with Graystone Wine Cellar!

Wonderful setting below the Columbus streets. We were there to check it out for our wedding venue and fell in love with it. Brian was extremely helpful in breaking down all of our options. The food we tested was divine. I cant wait to get married here and enjoy the unique atmosphere and delicious food and spirits.

Great place for a wedding

Owner Brian is a super nice guy. Very convenient set up how they offer menu packages and all inclusive pricing. Very reasonable prices and found best deal when compared with everywhere else we looked into. We had rehearsal dinner here and it was a learning experience. We recommend that you go with the appetizers and not just the salad. The salad was very skimpy and basic. Also we are not big drinkers so only did the champagne toast, but none of our guests were offered soda as included in our package and we were not informed that we had to let them all know to go get it at the bar. Being preoccupied with the details as hosts we were unaware none of the guests had nothing but the water at the table until after guests told us after the wedding. Parking is very tricky in this part of town on a Friday night and the stairs were a huge obstacle for one of our elderly guests from the brides family. The dinner was otherwise delicious.

Just had my son’s rehearsal dinner here on 4/26/2019. Everything was perfect from the food to the service. It is a great atmosphere. I highly recommend it. Brian was very easy to work with.

The ambiance was incredible. I attended a wedding here it was beautiful, food was awesome and it was a great event. Recommend it highly.

Went there with my family today and drove 30 minutes, which isn’t a long ride. We get there and it’s beautiful, but the guy tells my mother. A couple came in here over a year ago, looked at the place and, said they were interested in the date, but here’s the catch they didn’t get back to him until the day before we were scheduled. We had our heart set on that date, we were gonna look and, pay for it. You are gonna give it to someone who took a whole year to say yes and don’t have the audacity to call us and tell us someone booked that date. We drove out here to look at to be there for two minutes. What if we drove from somewhere that was two hours away. Don’t expect someone to come and have a date set and you tell them they can’t have that date and them expect to change. Don’t be greedy when someone from over a year ago now finally shows up with an answer because now someone else is interested, gave you all the answers and things you needed to just rip it away from them. Beautiful place, but greedy and selfish.

Delicious food and great service for our regular group meeting. The cellar gets very loud during happy hour and dinner conversation, but it is easy to hear the speaker during the presentation.

My wedding reception was hosted at the Graystone. Pricing is fair, the venue stunning & intimate, staff professional, food great, and wine spectacular. We appreciate the attention to detail and speedy communication. Thank you! A must see! Only modest decor is needed because it looks great on its own!

I had my wedding here last month, and I couldnt have picked a more perfect place! The character of the cellar just added so much to the day, it made for beautiful pictures and I loved that I could have my ceremony and reception in the same place. I would definitely recommend this place for a smaller crowd though, we had about 60 people in all and it was perfect.Brian was very accommodating and answered all my questions (and I had a lot of them, and bugged him frequently via email), and everything just went so smoothly. The staff was super friendly and all my guests had great things to say about the service they received from them.We got so many praises about the food, it was stellar! Every single guest I talked to just couldnt stop raving about the food, and the open bar was fantastic. Overall, I cant say enough good things. So happy we had our wedding here.

Beautiful venue!! Oakland Nurseries owner had a great retirement party at The Graystone Wine Cellar for a greatly loved and valued employee....couldnt have been a nicer or more intimate setting for friends and family to gather and pay tribute!!

We used Graystone for our wedding rehearsal dinner. Everything went very well! Brian Johnson was a lot of help in coordinating our event. The staff was courteous and helpful. The food was good too, and they waited for all our guests to arrive to being serving, which was nice.

Double booked our wedding rehearsal dinner after talking to us for 3 months. Made us reschedule the entire event for a new venue. What a total Mickey Mouse operation. If youre going to book an event somewhere, do it somewhere with competent management.Update 3/11: So the management has replied to this review, and of course has blamed us for the mix-up. My mother talked to them for 3 months to reserve this spot. It wasnt until Tuesday of this week that the owner discovered that we were a different party than the party he booked. We asked him multiple times for a contract, which he never sent, because he thought we were another party. Now mind you, I can see this happening easily if we had the same last name, but our last names are very very different than the party that he booked. Because of his screw-up concerning this we had to throw away our invitations, and almost had to cancel our rehearsal dinner all together, since we are a mere 3 weeks away from this event. An apology would of been nice. Blaming your customers for your own screw-up reinforces the type of establishment you are, and were probably better off not using your business for this event. As a person treated well by a business will tell 5 people, a person treated poorly will tell 50. We have 300 people coming to our wedding on April 2nd, and now they all know about this issue. The chances of me or anybody I know ever hosting an event at Graystone Winery is nil to none. This is probably one of the biggest events of mine and my fiances life and to have to change venues after you repeatedly promised us a table at your restaurant was incredibly difficult. Doublebooking for April 1st isnt our fault, its yours. Take responsibility for what you did and stop trying to blame others for your screw-up.
