Scott Needleman went above and beyond to help us. We were an incredibly unique case. We did not pass the means test for a Chapter 7, but Scott went to work and made it happen. Another twist to our story, my mother died the day after we filed. Associated with her death were some payable upon death beneficiary accounts. I called Scott he told me they would be the property of the bankruptcy trustee. The typical attorney would just give up at this point. Scott researched and found court cases in which these types of funds were treated like lottery winnings, they get to keep it. Scott presented his research to the trustee who agreed we could keep this large sum of money. Scott’s work for us made us feel like we won the lottery. Every attorney we interviewed immediately stated we had to file chapter 13 and I have no doubt we would have also lost the money my mother intended for us. Scott will work hard for you. I cannot express enough the gratitude and appreciation I have for Scott Needleman and his services! When other attorneys around town would barely take phone calls and even then seem irritated or put off for having to answer basic questions, Mr. Needleman went above and beyond for me and my financial situation. While other firms told me I had no choice but to file for Chapter 13, Mr. Needleman pushed through my application for Chapter 7 even though I was technically not eligible to file Chapter 7. I contacted Scott’s office mid March, right when Covid19 was starting. Im that guy who has nothing go his way, I went to Scott Needleman to try and get some help. He started out with the truth that I may not qualify for a chapter 7, and may be ordered to go chapter 13, but without seeing much, as soon as I did my part, Scott got my garnishment stopped. then after everything, he got me the chapter 7, I said wow and was very happy. then two weeks later out of the blue I get a call, He said he went after the garnishment and I had a check waiting on me......to get that money back was a shock, all can say is he went above what I paid for and did it with out me needing to do a lot of calling or chasing anything.....all I can do is say Thank you Scott.
