Tracking said my package was delivered to my mailbox on Saturday. Checked mailbox nothing in it. When I have a package being delivered on a weekend. This happens almost all the time. Very disappointed. Worst post office ever. Everyone needs to be fired. UPDATE they lost my package.

This post off stole my brothers items who is in the Army doing his training in Fort Jackson, that I sent to him and is not trying to give me the insurance I paid for the item. Be cautious using this post office I believe the employees are stealing or they have family and friends who are stealing. My brother is serving this country and this is how postal employees are showing their appreciation 😢

So I don’t own a printer. It’s 2021. Don’t know who does anymore personally. They won’t tape up my box I bring or print my label from my phone. They suggested I go to ups for “all that stuff”! If you didn’t wanna work today I wish you would have told me!Btw ups sent this out with a usps label and was way more accommodating. Just don’t come here at all. Not worth the headache.

I haven’t received my mail in 2 months. I have been calling up there & I can’t get past the automated system because it always does something crazy or takes me to something I don’t need because it can’t hear properly. I don’t understand why I have to go through so much just to find out where my mail is. I called & then I think someone hung up on me because the call stopped the hold music and it just hung up. This is the absolute worst postal branch in Columbia.

I love the staff here! We have to give these men and women a hand bc they are essential to our communities and have been working nonstop to assure we are getting our mail/packages sent and received! I just love seeing Mr. Jimmie, Mr Ken (when he was still working here) Ms. Roberta, Mrs. Eartha and all the wonderful drivers that work at these facilities and are in these air condition-less mail trucks they drive to assure we are getting our mail & packages on time! These workers stand on their feet all day long and Ive never heard them complain. They are doing their personal best to get the job done and have been for years!! Please do not complain if you visit during peek hours and the lines maybe long, appreciate the fact that they are still open and ready to assist you in all your package handling needs. thank you GF post office staff, team members and delivery drivers, youre appreciated!!!!!

I cant believe all these negative reviews smh.. Whenever I go to any Post Office, I expect to wait in line. They went above and beyond to help me with my Hold Mail issue and package issue. Sending thanks to all the workers at the Leesburg Branch Post Office. They answered my calls quickly and I did not have to wait on hold for a long time either. Bernard, Audubon (I probably spelled the name incorrectly 😊), Anderson, the female manager, and the two ladies I spoke with over the phone, Thank you so much!

I suspect that one of the mail carriers - that covers for my usual mail carrier - is stealing mail. This post office is doing nothing about it.

The Post Office needs to open up at the right time . It is supposed to open up at 8:30 a.m. and at 8:50 a.m. this morning the doors were still locked. An employee did come out at 8:37 a.m. & started to unlock the door, When I asked him whiy they were not opened up at 8:30, he looked at me and locked the door back,and walked back into the back processing area.

Great experience. Kinda shocked to see all the negative reviews.There was a minimal wait (its USPS folks, they cant control how many people show up or when - expect to wait, or go at a different time) - They helped me with my questions and needs. They smiled and processed my postage needs quickly. Looking forward to stopping back by today.

On July 16, 2020, my mailman arrived at my house and made no attempt to knock on my door, he just lefted an redelivery notice for my package. Causing me to have to go pick up my parcel. This is unacceptable.

I have never had fast service at this location. I would rather go to the dentist. At least the dentist wont have you stand in line for such a long time . I have been going to this location for years . Always consistently long lines .you would think service could be expanded . Over 40 years and I dont think the front desk has ever been expanded. Way to go US government . Ask Trump if this branch of the worlds greatest county could use some $$$

The service is incredible, the staff are quick and friendly with answering questions, providing information & communicating. This branch provides a nice environment where it is easy to handle issues, gain support and its actually comforting to interact and communicate with the members. [Theyre not rude nor do they carry an attitude, despite the ignorance some customers may have.]

(6-29- 19 NEVER RECEIVED a call from this post office more than a month ago even after going through the process of a claim. Why ask someone for a survey when you know the work is not getting done.) Some staff at some offices can tell you about a plate of food, the ABC store, nightlife, relationships, vacation & other things that are unnecessary to their job & will make effort to come back & tell you what they forgot to mention during the conversation. What are they actually getting paid for?) Happy to say I had an original post in which I thought mail had been misplaced, come to find out it had not. Im grateful & must recanter that portion. I received a letter from the recipient stating the package had not been received but what I did not know is that the letter is automatically generated yet the package made it to its proper destination. My experience with the Post Office anywhere has been over all fairly good, yet also need to add I have never personally dealt with this Post Office in particular until now & am still waiting on a phone call to let them know that all is well. I finally received a local phone number & tried to call to let them know but to no avail as in most offices they very rarely answer the phone. Question, what happens to those who have misplaced packages & have filed a claim yet never receive a phone call to follow up on whats going on yet you still cry for more money for what, you are doing less work & youre not tentative to what your job description has ask you to be tentative to.

Postmen used delivery slips from Hopkins SC which they paste to the door when no one is home. This lead me to believe I had to go to that facility to collect my package. Then had to return to this branch to get my mail. Total of 30 miles of driving. When ask I was told “It’s just a mistake”. The clerk in Hopkins said I was not the first one mislead. This branch needs new management.

Ive been living in Columbia SC since 1995 and the LEESBURG US POSTAL SERVICE OFFICE LOCATED AT, 7406 Garners Ferry Rd, Columbia, SC 29209 has ABSOLUTELY the worse and I do mean the WORSE, WORSE WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE and MAIL CARRIER DELIVERY SERVICE. I spoke with the Supervisor and nothings happens. Ive went in the office numerous times to complain but nothing is happening. I mean it just keeps getting worse. Yet another package was delivered but not to me. Ive call several times no answer.THIS LOCATION RATING IS -10. only reason I did a 1 star is because Icouldnt post a comment with selecting something.AFTER READING ALL THE ON COMPLAINTS IS SEEM AS IF SOMEONE OVER THIS LOCATION WOULD TRY TO CHANGES THINGS. ITS TERRIBLE, JUST TERRIBLE !

Scheduled a redelivery for a signed package and on the day for redelivery i watched my mail lady drive right by my house after stopping at my neighbors house. This isnt the first time this has happened. Last time i had to go to the branch and pick it up, they couldnt answer why the carrier didnt take it. Guess Ill have to go up there again today. Note to self pay extra for FedEx or UPS instead of using USPS for packages.

So glad I paid extra for expedited shipping on an item to be delivered today (12/13) and the lazy driver couldn’t knock on my door or ring the doorbell. If you hate your job do us all a favor and quit please. Sure hope a manager can reimburse me for wasting my money.

While recovering from Knee surgery in March 2016, I could not get to my mail box. My mail was held hostage for one month. I finally was able to go to the post office and I collected 2 baskets and a few boxes. This is ridiculous. My mail carrier is lazy because she could have gone to my door and knocked. She would have seen I was unable to make it to the mailbox.My mail is now being held hostage again because I went out of town for the Holidays. If I have too much mail and it does not fit in my box, My mail box is left empty and with a note telling me that my box is full (EMPTY IS WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE) and that I have to go pick up at the Post office. Well the problem is I am without a car and cannot get to the Post Office. This is so inconvenient and all because people are lazy and dont want to even try.

For the fees post offices charges it is a crying shame that this post office does not have adequate personnel to take care of those who are in this area! It is a sad situation but each time I enter this office, the lines are out the door, the wait is too long, however the employees are helpful and veryknowledgeable of their positions.

Definitely the worst post office I’ve been to. I’ve never been in and out in less than an hour. I’ve never seen more than one employee working at a time. I’ve always had the absolute worst customer service. I literally can’t say a single good thing about this location.

Terrible! Ghettoville. I see why the post office is going bankrupt. I went to mail some important documents. Twenty plus documents. I didnt need the documents to go priority so I asked what was the cheapest route she gave me an envelope and I was like okay well its a lot of documents I dont think its going to fit in there she said well you can get it Priority Mail and thats going to cost you 7 Bucks. Im like no its in the local area so by habit I wrote the address on the envelope. Guess what the documents didnt fit. Ghetto Grandma behind the counter had the nerve to say oh you going to have to pay for that envelope is $0.49 because you already wrote on it Im like really?! I was like you the one told me to try to fit these documents. Ghetto grandma with the dry blonde wig with gold teeth in the front and nicotine fingers. Replies Well you should have tried to put the documents in before you wrote on it! This place is so ghetto I put the $0.49 on the counter and left went to the UPS and spent $3 well worth it than dealing with ghettoville! I know ghetto grandma probably used that $0.49 to use at the gas station to get a single cigarette. Hope you have a great smoke!

Two times now over a period of a month, I have walked in to the post office lobby and waited in line. Each time it was my turn to be waited on the black females behind the counter flat ignored that I was standing in front of them. They were talking to another black female employee there. Literally, I was ignored and I left without buying what I came to get. I now do business at the UPS store because of those black females that seem to having against waiting of white people. Even while standing in line while they waited on other customers I noticed a big difference in how they treated black people; they treat them better in that they converse with the more and smile more. This is not acceptable.

Garners Ferry Rd Post office has the most rude, disrespectful employees working the front counter. I went in and they were talking about a customer to each other very badly in front of everyone. The manager at that branch and the assistant arent knowledgeable at all on anything. If you have issues its best to call the 800# and file your complaint.

The worse post office in Columbia! Staff is unprofessional, poorly trained and provide terrible service. If you have an issue they get aggravated and provide the least amount of help possible. Everytime Ive been Im never greeted and the staff at the front always have attitudes and move slow as possible. They really give the USPS a bad representation. Save yourself the trouble and drive elsewhere.

Leesburg branch on Garners Ferry rd. is the worst post office I have ever had contact with. The customer service there is horrible. They cant even keep up with your packages. I had an item that I was waiting for and they told me it was delivered then when I went to file a complaint on me not receiving my packages they didnt try to help me and was very rude about the situation. Instead of admitting to a mistake they made and provide me with they next step that I needed to know to file a claim on my lost package they just rather prolong the matter and not return or followed up on my call. I had to finally go back to the sender to correct my problem even though it was LEESBURG BRANCH POST OFFICE on Garners Ferry rd. fault. ** slack workers **

First of all let me say this is no reflection on my postman who delivers my mail. Phil is wonderful. However the office staff at the Leesburg post office is not acceptable. They wont answer the telephone if you need to reach someone and they act surly to customers. Theyre not staffed adequately at the end of the day when everybodys getting off work. I have put in requests online to have mail held and they dont always follow through. If my regular postman is on he will but others will not. I have come back home and found packages in the mailbox. These are the type of people that give government workers a bad name. They also are murder on breakables and then fuss when you bring it in for a claim.

I have the same complaints about poor service from the employees at this branch. I too had knee surgery and had trouble getting to the box to get my mail. I called several times to ask why I never received mail I was expecting to arrive. The employees I talked to never knew anything about why. I came to find out that for some unknown reason they had been returning some of my mail to the senders. The DMV assured me they had mailed my handicapped placard but I never received it. I called their 800 number help line to complain, they were supposed to be getting a supervisor to investigate and call me back and let me know why I was having mail returned and not receiving other mail. The same know nothing employee called me back with the same know nothing excuse. But she had talked to the carrier and they had assured her I was getting all the mail I was supposed to. I ended up driving to Blythewood to the DMV to get a replacement handicapped placard rather than entrusting it to mail again.

I just moved to town a few months ago and I started a new business. Im very new to shipping products and everybody I have spoken to have been great. The employees are extremely friendly, helpful and are willing to take the time to explain things to me.
