Phone reps dont care about employees. Send you on jobs without means of grwoth or longevity. They have very few job opportunities and will send you low tier jobs with bad work environments and no room to grow. this is from first hand experience 4 years consistently with them. find another job agency that is not first team

These people had called me because i had applied for a forklift operator position. I was working at 3:am/11:30am and needed a regular day shift 7:am/3:30pm. Operating a forklift. There said that there had an opening temp to permanent position as a forklift operator and it was paying the same as the job i was working on. I left my job and went to work for this place and come to find out it was only a 3 day assignment nor did i get paid what i was making at my other job. I wouldnt recommend this place to not even my worse of people. If me and the person who sent me there were face to face. Someone would be in jail and the would be hospitalized real talk.

I was sent a text about this job and instantly replied about it. I went in Wednesday 10/28/2020 to fill out the second part of the application and met up with one of the representatives over there named Shay. She said I was to start immediately the next day at this company called Translogistics in Eldersburg Maryland. The shift was 4pm-2am Thursday-Sunday. I arrived there 3:30 because I was told to get there a little early to clock in and start work but the lady called me around 3:45 saying to go home because the trainer who was supposed to train me on the job was not there. Shay told me to not go to the job until I was called about it the next day. Today I waited for her call and I decided to call her instead. She lied on the phone saying that she was going to call me at 5 because I was on some list but she never said that over the phone yesterday. You don’t give someone a job then waste their gas and get their hopes up about it. The jobs are not guaranteed at ALL. She also acted like she didn’t know who I was when I literally met her Wednesday and spoke to her yesterday.

Do yourself a favor and work with a different staffing agency. They will ghost you worst than a bad significant other. They will give you a mouth full of lies and excuses and try to blame you for their lack of doing their job. Also, this company never has jobs for anyone. Ive been calling them since Jan 2020 because I needed a second job to pay bills. Havent had any luck and its not May. Dont waste your time with this agency because they dont care about the people. They only pretend to help. Its very sad.

My son has been working with this company for a month. He has not been paid properly. He has been paid for 1 day for the past 3 weeks. They seem to not care about it. I have called the BBB. They are currently looking into the matter. It seems that they have been doing this to other people as well. This is the worst place to work for. Do not apply to this company. They are a big scam.

A poor staffing agency. They dont really care about their employees and are all about meeting deadlines. Sure they are filling low paying jobs, but people making little money should still be treated with respect. If you are desperate for a job go here, but dont expect them to listen to what you actually want. I was continually called to work jobs with hours that I had specifically told them I couldnt work. In other words they call you from a big list rather than trying to find the right opportunity for you.

Been working on and off with This company for a couple years now. Yesterday I called about starting a employment At the next available start date. I was asked if I could work a 5 o’clock to 230 PM schedule Monday through Friday as long as I could be in the office by 6:45 to follow morning. I arrive at the scheduled time fill out all the necessary paperwork For a guy to hand me a job for 8 o’clock till 4 PM when I Informed the guy that that was not the schedule that I was here for he just told me fine we’ll have a good day . Drove from a hour away to be sent home empty handed, when I came expecting to work

Believe the reviews. I was sent on two assignments and when I say SLAVE LABOR for minimum wage I mean it. They either don’t call for months or when they do you wish they hadn’t. Stay away. You were warned!

This location is horrible. I have been in contact with them on numerous occasions. Not once was I offered or even considered for employment through them. Was told today that education means nothing, that i wasted my time going to college. Even with Bachelors Degree its almost impossible to find employment where you can survive and take care of a family.

They never have jobs availble. People have to pay bills and this you cannot live on. They ligit called and while typing in info they said the job was taken up. They are a bs company. Just go get a real job through a conpany not this!

Recruiting isnt about running around clients like cattle.I was told via email that I didnt get a position because I couldnt make my mind up about which one I wanted although I expressed heavily that I wanted one specific job. I was told I didnt call to follow up with the manager but I did and was transferred to another manager who in turn never got my message.The degree of unprofessional is unreal. As a recruiter Placement of candidates is your #1 goal, not a check. I waited around for a month being told there were so many jobs and positions that they thought of placing me in, here I am a month later with no job placement.If you have 4-5 weeks to wait for a job definitely come to 1st Team Staffing in Columbia.

They always post online for people to come In and start immediately and then you go in for the interview and they tell you that they will call you when they have something available and here a few years later and they still dont have anything available... worst experience ever... dont bother because they dont have any jobs for anyone

If I could give them a zero rating I would. The worst recruiting agency, if you want to be spoken down to, undermine or be poorly mistreated by all means go to 1st team staffing agency, they continue to offer me jobs that does not fit the pay rate I was willing to work for...which I have stated time and time again on numerous occasions to multiple recruiters that I will turn down any position with the pay rate less than 15 dollars an hour which is not much to begin with.....they do not listen to your request....instead they throw any job at you without disclosing the pay rate or seeing whether your comfortable with the pay rate, they just automatically assume you will take anything they offer you....on top of it all the recruiters are rude, have no kooth and are extremely unprofessional, incompetent and do not value your time kept me waiting 45 minutes to be seen then expected to be at the job site within the next 15 minutes without disclosing the full location of the job site! Lol

Everyday They Would Call Me About Jobs I Said I Couldnt Do Because Of The Times. Then When I Did Get A Job And Accept It They Cancelled It. My Boyfriend Was A Employee There As Well And They Always Had Him Come In At 7 In The Morning Saying He Was Going To Work But Everytime They Cancelled The Assignment. They Should Be Shut Down For The Terrible Service.

I think its great they help people feed their family and like god understand everyone deserves a chance to make a living

I usually dont judge reviews about places until I visit for myself but I really should have this place is the worse omg I had a paper snatched out of my hand and got an attitude thrown at me with such force it was sickening so unprofessional it was ridiculous and for people who have a job such as recruiting i was appalled at the behavior and wondered how they were hired themselves with that being said they hired awful disrespectful people to fit in with a disrespectful company its a shame that after so many reviews of the negativity coming from Columbia office that someone with even an ounce of sense would want to make a change sad just sad they dont care they tell u come in apply and never have jobs just to get there number dont waste your time i wish i would have listen to the other person who said that as well

Horrible communication with managers. Did not feel they actually wanted to help, I was always talked over by one of the managers Jeff, I could never get a word in. Better off finding employment on your own.

Terrible criminals. They took 30 dollars out my check for a criminal back ground fee. I did not sign or consent to this. Do not work form them. I quit because one night I drove out there and they said that they cancel but no one called me.

This company is HORRIBLE. When an assignment ends they tell you to call and call to try to get a new assignment when nothing is available. So unprofessional and useless

Accepted an assignment with them ...Showed up at 8 am as told sat for 90 minutes and then was told that the assignment was cancelled because the trainer called out and that I should wait for them to call me the next day. Im still waiting for that call

At the end of the day they only care about is having a body in a location so They can get paid.

Called in 2 SEPERATE DAYS for orientation. First day they told me I was too late. It was fine, I took accountability. Next time, I came in EARLY and still had to wait 30mins to be seen ONLY to be told that I wouldn’t NOT be starting again. Wasted my time, money, and gas. Poor communication among staff, unprofessionalism, and they just send you on your way like “eff you” “oh well” “you’ll be okay”. If I could give it a ZERO, I WOULD.
