Jeff and his guys were excellent. Since first visit to see the space and get us a quote to the very end of the project, Jeff would email, text and call to answer questions and keep us in the loop every step of the way. Professionalism is clear to see in everything they do. They show up on time, use good quality material, know their work, pay attention to details, and clean up after themselves every day. We made adjustments and changes, and they still finished everything in a timely manner.Here are photos of two out of the three projects they did for us. First we needed a shed build, which didnt look like a shed. So it had to have an outside entrance but look like part of the house. Its perfect! Even the finishes on the inside are perfect. They matched the paint exactly (Thanks Randy!). The second project is the remodel of out outdoor patio ceiling. He made our own design work and even reconfigured the electric to make the rope light work separately from the recessed lights. As you can see, the end result is awesome!Theres nothing better than knowing you are working with great people, fair pricing and excellent professionals. Jeff and his team finished part of our basement - bathroom, kitchenette, and storage/utility areas. We love the finished results. They had helpful suggestions to make the best use of the space and quality suggestions for products/finishes. They were all professional and friendly guys. Jeff consulted with me regarding repair work after a poorly done renovation of most of my first floor by another company. Unfortunately, Jeff was involved in other projects at the time and was unable to help immediately. Compassionately, however, he assessed the work and agreed with me as to what needed to happen to get my home back on track. I hired a different contractor, who was available to do the work before Jeff could get to it; however, I hired Jeff to return this past fall to begin the renovation of the family room. He is a master carpenter and constructed a built-in cabinet on the one side of my fireplace and hearth. It was a bit of a challenge because of a register there, but Jeff clearly knew what to do. He and his sidekick worker did exceptional work; they were professional and personable; they did more than meet my expectations. The entire process was so very different from what I experienced with the original renovation. I would not hesitate to hire Lancaster County Housewrights once again.

Jeff removed our shower and replaced it with a tile setup, glass door and beautiful oil rubbed bronze accents. It came out great. The process was easy, we feel we got a great deal, very honest and skilled. We will reach out again for future needs.

I highly recommend Lancaster County Housewrights for projects requiring attention to detail and a highly finished look. We hired them to add an exterior door and a bathroom with pocket doors to our detached garage. The project involved the addition of HVAC and propane plus running water and sewage to the garage. Jeff was great to work with and offered many really great suggestions for our design and the use of the space. He worked very hard to get things turned around in a timely manner and was sensitive to some specific scheduling needs that we had.We couldnt be more thrilled with the finished result and we have received many complements on how good the space looks. As an example of the degree to which he works to make sure things look right: he had to come over to make some adjustments on a couple of outlets, and it caught my attention that when he was reattaching all of the outlet covers, he was making sure that the slots of the screws were all exactly level with the ground. His eye for detail means that the finished result will look great!In the spirit of full disclosure, I knew Jeff as a friend before we hired him for this project (although we hired him based on high recommendations, his design ideas and the competitiveness of his bid). However, regardless of his friendship, the quality of his work speaks for itself and it is based on how pleased we are with that work that I can give him such a positive recommendation. We will definitely be considering him for future projects and others should as well.

Jeff is building us a 3 season room addition. His price came in below several other estimates, plus he is a local guy and others recommended his workmanship. We are not done, yet, but he has been easy to work with adaptations of plans as we go along. I am comfortable trusting Jeff and his co-worker, Randy, with making good judgments and with fairly pricing adds and changes to the original plan. We have saved money, gotten a terrific result, and made a new friend.

Jeff has done two small plumbing jobs and also noticed our cinder block chimney was leaning so he replaced the chimney as well as some shingles.
