I can’t say good enough things about M.Boss! They are professional, meticulous and always make my hair look fly. They have a fun and light-hearted atmosphere and I will never go anywhere else. I can’t recommend them enough!! If I could give 6 stars, I would. Shout out to my stylist, Sam!

Terrible website. Appointment reservation system doesnt send a text like they think it does after scheduling on the phone. I tried getting a haircut here and got turned away for being 7 minutes late. I wont be giving them another chance. The hunt continues for the best barber in town.

$40 for a messed up haircut. Looks great inside very professional theyll tell you they know what theyre doing, very friendly, and the free drinks is cool, but the reason for actually going there is not worth the price at all.

They did a great job on my daughters hair, and my hair/beard.They take their time and make things look great!You pay for what your get, and while they are on the higher end of costs, it is worth it!

This is the only place I go to get my hair cut or a shave, it should be yours to. Every time I walk in the door they ask if you need something to drink as a complimentary drink while you wait, the barbers make you feel comfortable and take really good care of you. They wash your hair when their done cutting it and also style it for you so you look fresh every time you leave.

They did a pretty good job trimming my beard. The employees are courteous. I will use their services again.

They definately deserve 5 stars, amazing person helped me take photos and customize a hairstyle. $35 is a little pricey but its top quality

Ive been getting my haircut there for 2 years or more. Amber is my barber and always gives me a great haircut. The staff is always super polite and helpful. The atmosphere is great. They always have good music playing. I love this place!

Says walk-ins welcome on website, got to location right after they opened I waited for about 15 minutes without being greeted by anyone. Then after speaking to a staff member they said they were booked for the whole day. First and last time Ill probably ever visit this location.

Easily the best place in town to get a men’s haircut and shave. Been going to M. Boss since I moved here 3 years ago and women’s image going anywhere else. Student discounts with school ID. Everyone there is great but Sam is my favorite!

The service here was outstanding! With a great atmosphere, both very inviting and relaxed, and incredibly friendly staff, I would highly recommend this establishment. Scheduling was a breeze (I scheduled online), and I was seated immediately upon arrival. I will definitely be returning for all future haircuts, and will advise everyone I know to do the same.

Spending a few months in Columbia for work and needed a haircut and beard trim. Amber did a fantastic job. Great cut, precision and care on the beard, and great to chat to. It was definitely relaxing to have someone take care of the grooming and do such a good job. The salon is well setup and comfortable, so Id definitely recommend it to any bloke looking for a little pampering.

I’ve gotten my haircut there twice now from two different barbers and for two different styles. Both times the cut was exactly what I asked for and both times each barber took their time and showed me how to style and get the most out of my new do. People complaining about the higher price must not be listening because it’s not just a haircut you’re paying for. You get a shampoo, beer if you want it and a lesson on how to achieve the most out of your new haircut. I highly recommend this place and could never go back to a “chain”.

Like the warm atmosphere of this place. Its like going to a barber shop in cabin. I feel like a haircut is a bit more than similar places in other cities, but the cuts are solid and you do get a free drink.

Got a haircut here and they really know their stuff. They give out a free beer/drink and are all super chill. The whole place has a cool street theme and even the music is on point. Wouldnt change a thing about the cut I got either.

Awesome barber shop, locally owned by great people with a talented and super friendly staff. They do incredible work, and I love the way my beard looks when I leave. Also worth noting, besides getting offered a free Logboat brew upon arrival, my barber is always ready to go at my scheduled appointment time and I never have to wait, which I really appreciate.

I spent too many years getting mediocre haircuts at various franchises, purely out of convenience. One cut at M.Boss and I was ruined for going anywhere else. Youll see the difference in your first hair cut. Since my first visit, every cut has been consistent, looks great and Ive never felt like I was being rushed through the line to get to the next client. Highly recommended.

My 10 year old son and I were in CoMo from out of town. We needed a holiday trim. We walked in on a busy Tuesday morning. They communicated their schedule and managed our expectations perfectly. Better still the hair cuts were precise and professional. If you are searching the internet trying to find a barber shop, stop right here; you’ve found it.

Most expensive haircut that I regularly get. Whats the difference? Shampoo and conditioner, hair gel style. Great artists as down to earth human beings as hair stylists can get, beer in the fridge, and a classy decor and ambiance about the place. I go with Amber usually and yes they are all great. Only suggestion is, hook regulars up sometimes $50 haircut and beard trim (with reasonable tip) is pretty expensive when youre used to an $8 haircut. A punch card or rewards or something would be enough.

I reviewed on Yelp as well, this place is great. They offer water, soda, beer etc while waiting and getting a cut. I found them on Google and Yelp after a consistent barber in Arkansas. This is the first place I came to in Columbia and Im not going anywhere else. I called in and got an appointment in the same day. It took one haircut with Bruce to keep me coming back. A little pricier than Id like, but each cut comes with a wash and style.

This is a great place to treat yourself to an excellent cut. Don’t expect them to get you in and out in 5 minutes. If you need that go to the drive thru super chop. These folks take their time and do a good cut. I haven’t had a shave yet but they do that too.Call ahead and get an appointment.

M. Boss Barber and Salon is the go to old school, classic barbershop in Columbia. I needed a same day haircut for a friends wedding, and they fit me in between their scheduled appointments to make it happen. Not only did the barber, Jeremy, cut my hair with an artists passion, he also gave me a new look that I want to rock everyday. First class service all the way at M. Boss.

Love this place. Always friendly, always work me into the schedule too. I always ask for Amber, and she does an amazing job.

I did not have a appointment, and was just a walk in. The two hair cutters were busy so I waited maybe 10 minutes for my cut. However, the haircut comes with a beer. So I drank my Logboat beer and hapily waited.Bruce was my haircutter. He was great. Good attention to detail. He also gave some pointers on how I should style it so it will look as good as it did the day I got it cut.First time there, and it is up there with the best cut Ive ever had. Will definitely be returning.
