Ken’s Service Center is always amazing. They are very friendly and professional, never try to up-sell you. In fact, they even referred us out to get something fixed at a much cheaper place. They are trustworthy and honest and great to work with!

My tire pressure was dropping at a noticeable rate while on the highway returning to my home in Annapolis. I stopped at a gas station and filled my tire and discovered a screw in the tire. Kens was the closest place I could find. I went in late on a Friday afternoon and they were busy trying to finish out their current scheduled. Even though it caused them to stay after closing time, they took my car in and patched the tire for me. I would have been stranded if it wasnt for their willingness to help! Everyone there was professional and courteous. My tire works like new and it was very inexpensive. I highly recommend!

My 2003 Dodge Durango needed all of the rusfed coolant system components replaced after 300k miles. One connector had to be fabricated. Pleased with the work.

This will be my go-to for as long as I live in the area!Anytime Ive needed work done, they have been able to get me in same day or next day. They are thorough, without trying to nickel and dime you. As a young woman, when Ive gone to other service centers, I often feel like Im being taken advantage of or spoken down to when being told a million things are urgently wrong. At Kens they give a few honest suggestions and explain things in a way that helps me make the best choice for me and my car. I trust that they are actually looking out for me and I appreciate that.

I took my car to Kens, knowing that I havent had much work done to it in a while. What was needed wasnt cheap but I feel like they were honest & charged me a reasonable price for the work.I wish they had Saturday hours but I will make it work so I can take my car back the next time it needs work.

Excellent service

I went here to get an oil change done before I needed to head back to California since my dad was coming back from a deployment overseas. Ken’s ended up letting me know I needed additional work done, which was fine as long as they would have had my car done by the time I needed to get back to my dad and they assured me they would. Fast forward, they ended up charging me $500 for work, on a recall specifically, that the Ford dealership should have dealt with and they were aware Ford would have fixed the problem for me for free. They took ADVANTAGE of me and even messed up the problem on my car worse, causing it to be locked away in their shop over the weekend with no means of accessing it to retrieve it out. Then when I was able to retrieve it, they tried to CHARGE ME FOR TOWING when THEY were the ones that caused my car to not function in drive!!!! When confronted about it to get my money back, the manager insisted on talking to me OUTSIDE in the cold, windy rain just because I was getting upset and was adamant on getting my money back. In the end they ended up calling the cops on me and insisting I leave their property. So PLEASE, save yourself the trouble and never ever come here. They are NOT a family based company as they so call like to claim, they have no means of respect for military families and the urgency of needing to go home. All they care about is money and all their employees are money hungry. Worst company ever!!!!!

UPDATE: I was contacted by the manger who addmitted that he had dropped the ball with my case. And he informed me that they would replace the 2 defective tires at no cost to me. I am giving them 4 star instead of 5 because I think they should have resolved this issue internally without me as the customer having to troubled. The manger also assured me that that he would be looking into there website as to why the online reviews are not allowing all reviews to show.I bought 4 new tires from Kens Service Center after I picked up my vehicle I immediately noticed that my vehicle was wobbling at low speeds and vibrating at high speeds. I then had to make another appointment with them so they could inspect the tires. After they inspected my tires they then informed me that 2 of the 4 tires they installed were defective but they didnt have any of the tires in stock a the time they inspected them and they would call me back to schedule a time for them to replace them. After a 1.5 weeks have pasted I had to call them to schedule the appointment. They then informed me that I would have to pay for the 2 new tires and would be reimbursed if the manufacture found the tires to be defective. Thats right they except me to cover the bill for the defective product they just sold me. Now I would understand if the tires had developed an issue after several miles or 4-6 months later but not from the first day they installed them. I will NEVER be using Kens Service Center again because they dont stand behind the productions they sell. I got an email asking me to review there service however I when I went to submit my review the site wouldnt allow me to submit it due to some error in the system.

I work in Automotive and we had to cold call tire installers in the Columbia/ Jessup area, I called Kens and was truly blown away with the professionalism,courtesy and options of tires they had, instock, pricing and time restrictions. The gentleman on the phone was spot on and very nice.

Our family has been Kens Service Center for many years. They have always been honest and professional. From tires, to brakes, to air conditioners, they do a great job. We appreciate the night drop box so we can drop the car off the night before and pick up after work.

Ive been taking my vehicles there for about 12 years, which is probably all I need to say. They have proven trustworthy and know they have saved me money over the years. Part of the reason my Honda Civic is still going strong at 11 years and 122K miles is because of their regular service. Walter and Ron will treat you well.

We got all 4 tires changed. They were great. Took only an hour as they had told us. The place was clean, tidy, and comfortable. No complaints

I took a 1971 Plymouth Duster there for a front end alignment. They understood what I had going on and went above and beyond to dial in the specs that I have them while accounting for my rear spring drag package. Highly recommend and I will return in the future if the need arises.

Went there for alignment for 2014 4Runner. Next day I saw that my steering was crooked when going in straight line. Called them went back, dropped off my car again, they said they fixed it. I see little bit of different but it is still crooked, also now my steering shakes when I brake. I thought this would be better option than going to dealer, but now I have go to dealer pay there to fix this on top of what I paid here. I appreciate them trying to fix it for 2nd time but I’m just not happy. I’ll go to dealer and even they can’t fix it, I’ll delete this review. I like the front desk people but I don’t the way my car drives anymore. Sorry.

My husband has taken his car to Kens a few times for various repairs and always had a good experience, so when my car broke down we had it taken to Kens. Everyone I dealt with was knowledgeable and professional. They clearly explained to me what needed to be done and why, and did not push me on the repairs I declined. When I showed up, my bill was less than quoted because it took less time to fix than anticipated and they adjusted the bill accordingly. Thats an honest repair shop! And my car is running great! We will continue to use them for all our car repair needs.

This place stole my money outright. I had a bubble in the sidewall of my tire and was told I needed a new tire. Paid for a new tire. A few weeks later I had a bubble again. I assumed I had hit a curb etc... Fast forward a few months. Go to buy a new tire because I was concerned about the bubble. I find out that Kens actually patched my original tire and charged me for a brand new tire. That is VERY DISHONEST.

We have taken all our cars there for years. We have recommended them to friends and family who now also take their cars there. We have always been treated fairly and the work has been done professionally and reasonably priced compared to the dealership. We will continue to take our cars there in the future. They are very pleasant and professional, a very nice atmosphere.

Took my car in because they are an authorized Goodyear dealer. My tires are under warranty. After they inspected the tire and rim, he called to tell me that my rim was bent in two places, and I would need a new wheel. That there was nothing wrong with my tire. He told me the price for a new wheel, mounting, and balancing was close to $280. I picked the car up and took it to another tire place. They found the pin hole, poured soap and water to show me the air bubbles and confirmed that my wheel was in good condition. I wish I could leave him no stars. I am absolutely shocked at this. I have called Goodyear and informed them of their authorized dealer.

Took both my current Honda Accord and old Civic here to be maintained. Family owned franchise who always give me honest feedback and suggestions when I come in for oil changes, alignments, etc...Great location if you have to wait while your car is being serviced with plenty of options to take up your time while you wait.

They said $85 for an alignment. When I got there they wanted $270, time to test drive, alignment, balance tires, time to look at brakes... No guarantee this would fix any of the issues. No way! They saw a woman and decided to take advantage.

Got inspection done here which was a huge blessing after a different inspector tried to rip us off. Super honest people here.

Ive been using Kens Service since 2005.They normally dont take walk in so you have to make an appointment. I had several cars over the years and they have given me good service on all of them.

Ron and Walter are always very pleasant to work with. You can trust in there work, they dont push services that arent needed. I have been going to Kens for 15yrs.

This was my first time there. They were very friendly and professional, even though I only had a brake light replaced. I will certainly try them out for more complex automobile repairs.

Less of a review and more informational. Will not install anything that is supplied by the customer. I guess they dont like making money.

Being that Kens has been around for 40 years and it still feels like a small hometown service station speaks for itself. The fear of having to take your car in, goes away! I trust Kens with our vehicles and they would have it no other way.

The Ten Commandments and the Pledge of Allegiance that are prominently displayed behind the counter here are perhaps a sign that some customers are not welcome. For some reason the technician also switched my speedometer from showing mph to kilometers-per-hour. It took me about 30 minutes to find the setting to switch it back.
