Called on Tuesday ask when would be a good time for a diagnostic on my truck, was told bring in Thursday morning they can look at it then open at 8 am. I didnt want to waste there time so i was there at 7:30a.m. When door opened at 8 gave him all the needed info and key to my truck. Stopped in at 3, 7 hours later they still havnt started the diognostic. Wasted my whole day. Really disapointed as well as my friend who recommended them.

Tldr; I dont take my vehicles to mechanics, except for an alignment, as I have a trust issue. I will take my vehicle to Dannys any day of the week. Honest, caring, hard-working, quick results, quality work, best mechanic shop in town. Walked in the shop expecting to pay at least $60, walked out with new knowledge of my vehicle and no bill.Awesome people! I needed to have my pitman arm torqued down to 450 lbs and my air tools would not go beyond 300 lbs (time to upgrade). I actually spoke with two separate individuals who had not spoken to each other and both of them separately told me to come up and they would do it for free. I have never, let me emphasize this, NEVER taken an item into a mechanics/auto repair shop and not walked out with a bill.Another thing that shows how dedicated they hard to helping people; he brought me back into the shop to watch him torque down the bolt for the pitman arm, since I had already partially torqued it prior to bringing it to the shop. I was under the impression that a pitman arm needed to be pressed completely down to the steering box. He very kindly and informatively told torque the pitman arm down to the specified torque and thats as far as it should go.Not only did they provide me with a free service, but they actually taught me something about my vehicle that I didnt know. As someone who prides themself on knowing everything about their vehicle I was glad that he corrected my misinformation.

Overall great experience! My truck completely stopped on me because it overheated. Great work and they were honest with all that it took to fix it - no more, no less - and most likely saved me money in the long run. The only criticism I have is they didnt follow-up when they said they would. When I would call and ask for a status report, they would say Ill call you back in an hour or before we close, but I always had to call back the next day. But still, would highly recommend for their work!

Dannys does excellent work at reasonable prices. They are not the least expensive. However, they do give a warranty on their work. On RARE occasion when their work didnt meet THEIR standards, THEY picked up the ENTIRE tab to make things correct. Very, very reputable!!

Dannys performance is a great place I would recommend them to anyone. They took time to figure out what was wrong with my vehicle and help me take the least expensive route instead of trying to take your money. Hit a log on i20 instead of hitting another car. Well still lost as my car died and would not start back. Found them online because of their good reviews and being really close. Called them and asked about towing, they referred me to Roberts Towing. The guy that came and picked up my car was knowledgeable and nice. I loved the service that I received while at Dannys. I arrived around 430, and they were not able to fix my car that day, but had an idea what was wrong and had a quote for me. They even gave me a ride to a hotel when they closed! It was ready by 12 the next day, and was cheaper than the estimate. Thank you for having great service!

On May 10, 2016, my wife and i were traveling south to Orlando from Canada when a spark plug blew in my engine. After searching the internet for the dealership which we felt we could trust and would treat us fairly we were shocked at what the dealership was going to charge and take advantage of us because we were traveling through.Immediately, I then got referred to a Dannys Automotive garage. Woody and Harry were extremely profession, understanding and caring. The job was done in 3hrs for $400 much like my mechanic suggested, a warranty for 12,000 miles was given and it did not cost 10 times more than what the dealership wanted.It is extremely refreshing that there are still good people out there(Woody and Harry)not wanting to take advantage and prey on the traveling out of town public.I was at there mercy. They were professional, very understanding and extremely fair.i would highly recommend Dannys Automotive to any local family or traveling family.They will definitely take care of you and get you back on the road asap!

Honest and reliable. We have had a lot of repairs and general maintenance done at Dannys over the years. While it is true they are not the cheapest in town, when they quote you a price you can trust it and when the repair is done you can be sure it is right. When times are tight they can be trusted to only do what has to be done and give you a time frame and quotes for the remaining repairs.

Took my car in for an estimate on a spark plug and wire change. Was quoted $660. Ok, so I go online and look up the exact part numbers on the estimate. They wanted $13 for each spark plug verses $4 online and $136 for the plugs verses 47 online. Parts prices are outrageous. However, I have had other work done and the quality of their work is good. Needless to say I have ordered the parts myself and am having someone else do the work.

Brought my car here at 8am. Called around 3pm to get status. Was told they did not look at it yet. Told guy well I will be there at closing. When I get there he non chalantly said they did not have time to look at it. Dont know about you but I do not consider that good customer service at all.

Amazing place!! Took my 2015 Kia Optima in after hitting a pot hole and they checked it out to make sure everything was okay, when they actually found my transmission fluid was POURING out and I didnt even notice. They took my car in and had it ready in just two days. Not to mention the great customer service from the guys up front! Definitely recommend these guys to EVERYONE. Wouldnt trust anyone else with my car.

Wanted 2400 for a brake line replacement, when I said I was going to shop around, Woody got quite unprofessional.

We will NEVER do business with them ever again and we dont recommend them to anyone else. We brought our truck in to get something fixed they charged us for fixing both sides only did 1. They said we could bring it back and they would fix the other side so we did. After they had our truck for 3 days they called and said its going to cost us an extra $1100 when we already paid because THEY broke 2 bolts and needed to be paid for the extra 11 hours of labor. They have lied about multiple things saying the truck was completely rusted and that things kept going wrong and the truck was not rusted at all. They said the truck would be done Tuesday... its now Friday and we were just now able to pick up our truck and they have had it for almost 2 weeks for an 11 hour job.

My experience with Dannys Automotive was, in retrospect, one of the most delightful experiences Ive had in my 30+ years of going to get my cars worked on. This establishment was obviously an Equal Opportunity Employer, because every position from the front desk, the detailer, to the mechanic, everyone was represented! Woodys detailed Analysis of all of my Nissans potential issues were carefully laid out in language that was easily understood. Amera was so pleasant and she made it comfortable for me to handover my keys, with the assurance that my vehicle was going to get the areas best in car care/repair. The atmosphere while waiting for my repair was like relaxing in my favorite room at home. The arrangement and comfort of the furniture corresponded with the decor. There was even a cozy dining area featuring hot & cold beverages! This all made the televised entertainment & WiFi browsing so much more enjoyable. My mechanic this time was Patrick. He was able to expedite my repair, and he even gave me helpful tips on how to avoid the damage that had brought my vehicle into the shop! Most repair shops make it so expensive that you feel like you have to take out a second mortgage on your home! Not Dannys Automotive. Woody gave me a price that was quite reasonable. Top to bottom, I will be recommending Dannys Automotive to my family as well as my friends and neighbors.

I took my 2006 Lexus GS to Dannys last week for service. I had a check engine light on and I just knew I would not walk out of there for less than thousand. Well, it was 39.99 for the oil change and to my surprise someone in my passenger seat had kicked some button under the passenger side dashboard. Thanks for being honest because they could have easily told me it was some expensive part and I would have never known.

Danny had mechanic issues from the beginning of this year. They usually have a+ quality of work, lately it has been around c quality on major work and A+ on oil changes.

I would give Dannys zero stars if that were an option.I had my car towed over on a Thursday afternoon, knowing that I would be leaving town on Sunday for a week long business trip. I asked would they be able to let me know something the next day, and I was told yes. All day Friday I waited, and there was no call made to inform me of anything. I finally called right around their closing time to see if anyone could give me any information. No apologies or explanation for why no one had contacted me. They told me what they thought was wrong with my vehicle (fuel pump) and that it would be Monday before they could work on it at all. Not realizing that they were closed on Saturday is 100% on me.I stopped by the shop on that Sunday morning to retrieve a few items from the car. On a whim, I tried the keys in the ignition, and was pleasantly surprised that the car started. I put it back in the same spot, and left for my trip. On Monday I called to check what the pricing would be for the fuel pump. They quoted me just under $1000 dollars to replace it entirely. I told them no thanks and that I would retrieve the car at the end of the week when I returned. I then spoke to separate mechanics in different towns who quoted me HALF of that to replace it entirely.When I returned home that following Saturday, the car had been moved (even though the keys were locked inside) and the car would no longer start. The battery was completely shot. It wouldnt even take a charge from a friend and his jumper cables. I dont know if they left an interior light on or knocked something loose, but the battery was dead. When I spoke to them on the phone about it on Monday, they told me theyd look into it and call me back. Nothing. I call again on Tuesday and asked for a call back-nothing.So in summation-Dannys is OVERPRICED and IRRESPONSIBLE. Take your car anywhere else...if you want someone to actually let you know what the heck is going on with your vehicle. But hey, if you like mystery and suspense and youre rich enough to afford inflated prices, then Dannys is the place for you.

Id give zeros if I could. My car was cutting off for no reason. later from another mechanic shop I learned my idle air control valve was bad....they fixed it end of that. However, I took my car up there to get it looked at. Lady behind the counter needs customer service training...very rude. She told me they will look at it. I told them it idles and cranks fine but it shuts off after driving. You have to drive it to see it happen. They brushed me off saying yea, yea well drive it. Before I left I reset my mileage. I got no call all day about my car. Finally they tell me they couldnt find anything wrong. They also said their mechanics even drove it to be sure. HOW about when I go get my car the milage is the exact same and car in same spot. TOTAL MONEY HUNGRY CROOKS UP THERE!!!Disclaimer! This happened in 2002 so I hope things have changed by now. We didnt have the ability to call out poor service back then...but we do now.

In September 2011, after two years without transportation, my aunt gave me her old 98 Honda CRV. Best. Birthday Present. Ever. Because it had been so long since I last had my own car, I sort overlooked how badly it ran. I figured it was normal for an old car to turn off shortly after I put it into gear. And if it sometimes turned off shortly after I got on the road, well...that was just to keep me on my toes.Dannys turned my accident-waiting-to-happen-any-moment-now into a well-oiled-machine.The first time I went there, I told them that I needed tires and brakes. They took a look and said, well your tires are fine, and your brakes are decent, but your timing belt is SHOT. Cue skeptical look followed by mouth noises about how I only make $10.00 an hour, yada yada yada. In the end I took a leap of faith (and I told them it was a leap of faith) and went for it. When I got the car back I couldnt believe how well it ran.A couple weeks later I took it back because the brakes kept squeaking. They took it for another test drive and came back and said, maam your ignition is messed up, bad.... Cue another big repair followed by more astonishment over the difference this made.Theyve been my mechanic ever since.Every time I take my car in, they greet me by name and ask me what I need. They always give me an itemized estimate and their estimates are always to the penny. Repairs are usually completed within a day. The big repairs were done in under a week. Theyve yet to repair the wrong thing. If there is a problem that doesnt need to be fixed right away they say so. If it does, they tell me that as well. After two years and a dozen repairs (plus oil changes), Ive come to trust them implicitly.I highly, HIGHLY recommend Dannys automotive.
