I was traveling thru to my next job. Called and told them what my ac was doing. He had me stop in with truck running diagnosed it and fixed me up. Very pleased and highly recommended!

They charge very reasonable rates, and while they are always busy, its a highly recommended small shop. I now expect there be a wait. I have had four different problems on three different vehicles, they have all been taken care of in a reasonable time and with excellent results. l have found from past experience, a shop that doesnt have a wait is not usually the best place to take your needed repairs. At AJs that wait for your appointment is well worth it. Thank you, @ AJs people for all the outstanding work, and friendly service.

The absolute best in the business (Columbia and surrounding area) when it comes to automotive AC installation and repair. Allen is nothing less than a genius. He will take the time to walk you through what is wrong, what he recommends, and why he supports it. Repairs are done right the first time at reasonable costs — honest, respected, local, family business. The only negative thing to say is they are a small shop who are extremely popular. Appointments can be as far as 3 weeks out, depending on the time of year.

Great customer service, clearly communicated charges, just what you need in a mechanic. A hard thing to find when you move into a new town, take advantage.

Honest repairs at a very fair price. Have had two of my cars repaired here and never had any issues with them. The only additional services theyve recommended were to address issues I already knew about, so its safe to say they dont upsell stuff you dont need

GENIUS! We take multiple older cars to Allen and Vickie and they get repaired right the first time.No up sell for additional work, honest and fair. Its tough being in the auto repair business because most of the time you have bad news the customer doesnt want to hear but Allen and Vickie are such great people you dont really mind it.

A Js Automotive has the best diagnosticians! They determined what was wrong with my car, went to great lengths to correct and replace parts not working, and did so at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend A Js.

Took car in for 60,000 mile checkup. They updated things that needed updated, gave a printout of what was done and recommended things for the future. Final price was less than quoted price since not every thing needed to be done.

Had to replace bad brake lines that caused brakes to drag for over a year. Brake pads and rotors were wore out due to dragging brakes. I replaced pads and rotors but didnt take the time to clean black brake dust off front wheels. A few months later, while fixing something else on my truck, ajs told me I would need both front pads and rotors replaced before it would pass next inspection. I informed them I had just replaced them myself and they insisted they had measured the pads and rotors and needed replaced. They further pointed out the brake dust on my wheels as evidence that brakes were dragging. They wouldnt admit they just tried to scam me. Ive passed the last three inspections since then by more reputable garages with no issues with my new pads and rotors. I did clean the brake dust off my wheels so no one would try to use that as excuse to tell me my pads and rotors need replaced again. From my experience, I can tell you ajs will scam you if you let them!!
