I was a loyal customer to the Allstate Julius Thomas agency for 10 years, but when there was an issue I could get NO results from these people. My fiancé reviewed my policy and noticed that it was a lot higher than she thought it should be since I had no tickets, incidents, etc. for several years. She noticed that my SISTER (who does not live with me and is of questionable moral character) was listed on my policy with 2 of her vehicles. When I called Allstate to inquire how this could possibly have happened, I was told by the rep named Darlene Sims that I authorized it. I was furious. I came to the conclusion that my sister was in need of insurance and could not get any on her own so she used my name and got coverage without my authorization. She had to have had a boyfriend call and pretend to be me using my personal information to get added to the policy. When I demanded that she be removed ASAP Ms. Sims said we would get this corrected. Months passed and the insurance was still high and actually went up even more! I called again and they said that I had moving violations. Of course they were my sisters and not mine. I was enraged by this point. I was promised by Ms. Sims that this issue would be resolved instead I was charged more money and still was carrying a person on my policy that was not supposed to be on there. I demanded this policy be canceled, Ms Sims had such an attitude with me I demanded to speak with her supervisor. I spoke to Julius Thomas himself. He stated that he would credit my account or pay me back out of his own pocket if need be for all of the months that I was unfairly charged. It has been 7 months and of course I was never reimbursed. I ended up switching to GEICO. For what I was paying at ALLSTATE I was able to get a policy for half of that amount with full coverage for 3 vehicles instead of 2! ALLSTATE needs to put password protection on their accounts to prevent this from happening to others. I wasted so much time and money dealing with this company I will never do business with them again.
