Im a tenant, not a property owner. Not sure where to start. Ive dealt with property managers in Colo. Spgs. for over 30 years. Tom is truly the worst. Hes rude. Intimidates my female employees. Poor communicator-wont respond to requests. I have to go to the owner to get things done. There are several examples I could cite, but space wont allow. The AC in my office did not work. We suffered through awful heat. He kept telling us that there was nothing wrong and that it wasnt as hot as we claimed (even though we had several thermometers that recorded the same high temperatures). Finally (after my complaining for more than one year) they discovered that there was a computer software problem that was causing the AC to malfunction. No apology. No attempt to offer any compensation. He is a. Master at quoting the lease and if its not in the lease, he invents a policy. Right now, I have submitted a request for some tenant improvements. He refuses to pay the required downpayment to the vendor. Weve waited months. Awful! So, beware property owners, if you want happy tenants, run, dont walk away from Tom.

I just received a very long email response to my unfavorable review. As expected, there was no apology or attempt to make things right. Just a list of justifications and excuses in defending his behavior including why it took a year to fix the HVAC.He claims that because I wasnt there when he came into my office and bullied my staff that I could not pass judgement on how they were treated. Hes right . . . I wasnt there. All I can tell you is that their perception is that he is a bully.Im the one who pays his salary. Why would he treat me that way? Based on my most recent interaction, things arent going to get better anytime soon.
