I asked for short white coffin shaped nails and got long box nails. I was not happy about them AT ALL. The guy was very rough, I have cuts on 4 of my fingers from the filer. I’m never going back.

Three days ago, I went to Thuys Nails based on the positive reviews. It may have been the technician I was paired with, but this was the messiest gel manicure Ive ever received. My cuticles are cracked and the edges started to lift the day after I went. Today, the gel on my index finger is nearly lifted completely. Im going to have to get these removed and fixed, because these have barely lasted 72 hours.

There are several other nail salons nearby and Ive tried most of them, but now I only go to Thuys. I usually call on my way there to make sure they can take me in the next 10-20 minutes, but Ive walked in without an appointment as well. I go every 2-3 weeks and have never had a problem with scheduling. The family atmosphere in the salon is refreshing, and the staff is very helpful and sweet. I appreciate the consistency and professionalism while staying friendly and warm.

After moving here I tried out several places and Thuys is the best! Friendly, and they do a great job! I highly recommend this business

Very unhappy with the manicure I got today. The lady was very nice but I have nail polish in places that should not have polish, on my cuticles and all around the sides of my nails. I can do better myself. Will not be going back.

I love Thuy’s Nails and Spa! Every time I visit, I feel so welcome The staff are caring and professional and the atmosphere is fun. If you want gorgeous nails created by experienced nails techs at a great price, this is the place!

No matter who does my nails they are always done beautifully and the polish lasts quite a while. A special family own and runs the salon. They make you feel very welcome. I highly recommend Thuys.

I just left the salon an hour ago and truly disappointed with the acrylic nail quality. The technician cut so close to the nail bed he made 5 bleed. Two nails are visibly uneven with the acrylic. My thumb has a bristle from the nail polish brush, the acrylic does not go all the way down so my natural nail is painted creating an odd look, and they did not clean out from underneath once finished. Sincerely disappointed in the quality, would not recommend.

My wife and I came for nail service. I got a manicure which was good minus the cut/pinch while cutting hang nails (bled). My 2 stars is because my wife had her nails done 3 weeks ago and wanted to change color. She asked for them to remove the nails and add new ones. They were like oh no we can fix the ones you have now. She kept pushing for new nails. He kept saying no your good. She had powdered nails (blue) so both sides were the same color. She went with pink and 2 days later the pink came off and now the blue is showing, with half the pink. When you go to a place and ask for something, and they refuse or think they know better, or are too lazy to do the right job, you should walk a way. We will never come back. Would be a one star, but they did fair with my nails.

I’ve been going to Thuy’s for almost a year now. I get “dip” nails and they always last 3 weeks. I tried several salons around this area before I found this one, by far the best.

I have been a customer for many, many years and would never think about going anywhere else. I am always treated so well!!! I regularly schedule my appointments, but when something comes up, Thuy will always do her best to fit me in if possible. The salon has a calm, relaxed atmosphere and I always come out in a much better mood than when I walked in. I highly recommend this salon as I always get compliments on my nails everywhere I go!

I have been having Twan at Thuys do my nails now for about a year and a half, he always does a great job! Its all family in the shop, all are very nice!

My first experience was excellent! Clean and pleasant. I had 2 technicians; one for hand gel polish and one for toe polish. Both did a great job. I will be back!

This place was recommended to me. It was a waste of my money. My toe nails were not trimmed correctly and later snagged on my sock ripping my nail. My feet were still rough feeling, not soft especially the heels. I asked if he was able to get my calluses as they are bad yeah yeah is all I received from him. No he did not. I ended up taking a pumis stone and doing it myself which I could have saved my money and just did it myself. This was supposed to be a treat. It was not.

Charged $40 (after I complained originally wanted to charge $50) for a manicure and pedicure after cutting 2 cuticles on my right hand I could of done better job myself. According to the website they are supposed to be able to do nail art but since they could not do what I originally wanted (even asked if it would be easier to do design with acrylic nails she seemed like she didn’t know what I was talking about) I had to change design to something easier the nails should of been free after cutting cuticles way too short that they were bleeding WILL NOT GO HERE AGAIN!!!

Ive been going to Thuys Nails and Spa for 6 years now! The staff is very friendly, professional, and relaxing to be around. It amazes me how they remember everyones names, their family members names, and ASK about them with sincerity. The pedicures are always perfect and they are fabulous at suggesting new and fun colors. The Spa if family owned and operated and they have a lot of pride in their establishment. Extremely clean, fun atmosphere, and beautiful work!

Very nice staff that treat you well and do a good job. One female that works there has a great sense of humor. They were fast at getting us in and out with 2 pedicures and the total cost for both was $50.00

I had a gel manicure on Tuesday for an up coming trip that weekend... It’s now Friday and my nails look terrible. They are all chipped and I have an office job so nothing out of the normal for wear and tear. When I called to see if they could fix them before I left this afternoon, they couldn’t get me in. Unfortunate.

Im new to getting my nails done and have gone to 3 different places in the past couple months. Thuys was by far the best. June did my nails and he was very nice and friendly and also had a good sense of humor. He was very gentle on my hands and even apologized when he nicked me! ( everyone nicks me because I have tiny nail beds but nobody has ever apologized or even acknowledged that they did) . Also the shop is very clean and the rest of the staff was very inviting and friendly. I will be back ! 😃

Ive been going to Thuy for a little over 6 mos. and love her shop. Its always clean, she has a good color selection and keeps up with the newest techniques. Its a friendly atmosphere and she is always very accommodating with her appointments. I enjoy my time in her shop and feel very well cared for.

This is my favorite nail place in Colorado Springs. Absolutely a great environment and the best Nail lady in town. Very relaxing place to be... Love you Thuy!I read the comment and response to the 1-star waiting. This place is extremely busy at times because of the quality of service, and personal attention...definitely worth the wait!!! A one-time experience is not a correct assessment ... especially when most nail places have a wait with walk-ins. If they arent busy, then I would assume the service is about quantity versus quality.

I have been to several nail salons and Thuys is superior, by far!They are friendly, ensure they take their time for extra detail and consistently check in to make sure they know what you want-length, color, style, product etc. They are always prompt ( I have never waited more than 5 minutes in the past 4 years), the facilities and equipment are clean and tidy, and they are reasonably priced.

I am very picky about my nails and was nothing short of amazed by the customer service and work that I got. I went with my sister while she got her nails done to test out the place before I let them tough my nails and was so impressed I had to go back to get a manicure. They are all friendly and professional! Do not hesitate to come here you will not be disappointed!!!

The man who did my nails was very friendly and my customer experience was pleasant but I paid FIFTY DOLLARS for my powder dipped nails and they all fell off in THREE days!!!!!! I couldn’t even believe it. The tips kept coming off in the process of him filing them and he had to keep flying them back on before the powder. I’m out fifty dollars and o won’t be going back.

Very nice staff, clean place. The gel that was used for my manicure didn’t last more than a day. Paying $80 plus tip for a gel mani/pedi was very disappointing that didn’t last.

Just moved here from California. I live literally down the street from this place so I thought I’d give it a try. There was no wait they finished my mani/pedi in an exceptional amount of time and the manicurist took his time doing my nails seeing that I had a pretty painful cut on the top of my hand. They took the time to make me (the customer) happy. I will definitely be coming back. LOVING MY NAILS RIGHT NOW ❤️

Thuy and her family are the best!!! I have been going to her for 4 years. She is very thoughtful of her customers whether they are regular clients or walk ins. I love her to death!!!! Thuy will go to any extreme to meet her clients needs and or requests.

I got dip and they did not turn out nice at all. I had to keep asking the technician to fix my nails....they were too thick and gummy looking, and I didnt like the shape. In addition, the technician did cuticle care AFTER color...which makes no sense. Now it looks like I got my nails done a week ago, rather than today. I will not be going back.

First visit...Fantastic! Second visit with the same technician...HE DESTROYED MY NAILS.I was so pleased after the first visit because he was so attentive and listened to what I told him about my nails. The second visit he was rushed, didnt wait long enough to soak off the shellac (despite me stating that it seemed that they should soak longer), then aggressively scraped at my nails and ended up ripping off the entire top layer of my nail. This left my nails flimsy and weak, and now they are all breaking/tearing. Ive been getting shellac for years so I know how my nails need to be treated. I was very annoyed that he didnt listen to me, and even more annoyed that now over half of my nails are torn down to my nail bed. I will go back and give them one more chance, but i will not have him do my nails.

I do not normally like to write a bad review, but...I just spent an hour and $20 for a woman in this salon to completely massacre my natural nails. First she was so preoccupied by the tv show that I had to keep redirecting her. Then she started to take the dreamel to them, I said that I did not want it to touch my nail, she assured me that she would ‘only a little bit’. I have deep furrows, flat lines and pits on each of my nails now that will take months to grow out. Not one single nail is smooth, beautiful and healthy as they were when I walked in this morning. She wasn’t even able to file the edges in a uniform manner. Disappointed is an understatement, more like heartbroken! Won’t be back, not even for a free service, not worth it!

I have been going to Thuys for almost one year now. I have very stubborn ingrown toenails. I even had surgery to have my toenails removed once. Lon and Thuy give the very best pedicures, and all the technicians work very hard to be gentle and thorough. Tuan and his wife are especially great at applying the shellac polish. They have always been accommodating, even when I do not have an appointment. Great family atmosphere.

Ive had the pleasure of going to Thuys Salon for seven years or so...she makes you feel like you are a part of your family! Her staff is warm and friendly, and will do anything to make sure that you have the best experience possible. Clean and professional...once you visit, you wont want to go anywhere else!!!

The artist did not listen to anything I was wanting, I left with a simple base coat when I was hoping for something elegant. He was not very attentive and did not show any interest in what he was doing. I still ended up paying full price even though the quality was unsatisfactory and low quality.

Thuy has been doing my nails for about 2 years now, she does an excellent job! I get acrylic nails/fill-ins and they are always done nice and thin (they dont look like chicklets!). Ive never had a fungus or any issues. Fill-in prices are very reasonable too, at $25. Although it is a busy place, Thuy always tries to find time to fit me in. I have been there many times when they are busy, she tries very hard to work people in. Ive never seen her be rude to anyone, she actually jokes around with people which is nice for a change when getting nails done!

I am so pleased that I found Thuys Nails & Spa. They all do such a fabulous job. I have had manicures, pedicures and waxing done there. Only salon I will go to in Colorado Springs.

Says Walk Ins Welcome, went there and there were only 3 nail technicians - all of which were full, including her. Also about 3 pedicure specialist, all busy. How can you say walk ins are welcome if you dont even have enough staff for that day? The woman who greeted us was not friendly, told us an 1 hr and 30 minute wait.Friend and I said wed discuss before making a decision and she pitched an attitude with us. Kept pestering us while we talked what we would do plan wise, asking us what we wanted done and only cut down the wait time when she realized potential money was walking out. I will never visit this place again.

The one time I did go I went as a walk in and she was a little rude to me because I didnt have an appointment and she was expecting a regular customer at the time I came in. Who is to say I wouldnt have become a regular? If a customer is treated with kindness and dosent feel rushed then that could have been a long term relationship. But instead it went the opposite. But they get lots of business so Im sure my little review dosent do much. Unfortunately now its caused me to only go to one nail salon where I feel appreciated and not rushed but the drive is 45 min. Even though this place is 1 min from my home.
