Rude owner! Terrible customer service. Set up an appointment for a sprinkler blow out and bid on complete system in the spring. Called back to ask about how they handle their service when its snowing, since snow was in the forecast. The owner was incredibly rude and said I cant predict the weather and went on demeaning, raising her voice Needless to say, I cancelled the appointment. Already rebooked with a professional company, sooner and at a specific time...not a whole afternoon window.

A-1 Sprinklers is one of the most professional service companies that I have had the pleasure to work with. Alex arrived on time and asked me about my problem. He then diagnosed the problem, explained the remedy and how he could fix it. Alex spread tarps to protect our grass as he dug to make repairs. He then adjusted all my sprinkler heads for low and high coverage to make sure my system worked well Alex work hard and efficiently and answered all my questions on what he was doing. Everything top notch with this company. They put in new sprinkler system front and back yard. Kept things neat and clean as they worked. Made us feel like they respected our property and took pride in their work. Showed up on time and had top of the line equipment so not a lot of trenches necessary. These guys are amazing! I had the pleasure of working with Alex who arrived on time, called 20 min before he arrived, did not park in my new driveway, very knowledgeable and showed me how I could replace my own heads without having to place a service call! So refreshing to find a service company that cares more about people than money.

Called about a leak in my front yard. It was their busy season so they could not get out for a couple days, the technician walked me through how to shut of that section so I could continue to water the rest. When he arrived, promptly fix the issue. Very respectful and knowledgeable excellent service.

I have been using A-1 Sprinkler for nearly 20 years, ever since I moved into my house. They come every autumn to blow our the sprinklers and have made repairs over the years.Recently I asked Rich to come over and give me an estimate to improve the coverage in the back since wed reconfigured some of the garden. He came over promptly, gave me an estimate which I found very reasonable and sent someone over to carry out the work a few days later. Just received the bill which is way under the estimate so Im more than delighted.I wouldnt bother looking for another sprinkler company since Rich and A-1 have never steered me wrong and are more than reasonable with their prices.

They gave my mother a good deal on her aeration and fertilization for $65! I called them to do my yard since it was a similar size. My bill - $285!!! The owner never returned my phone call.

This is a horrible company! They sent a tech out to check for a clog, we already knew what zone it was in so we did all the troubleshooting for A1. Supposedly the tech was out here for 3 hours at 100.00 an hour and didnt even fix the clog. I had someone else come in and they found the clog and repaired it immediately. They sent a bill for 325.00 for nothing! I spoke to the office manager Bridgette in regards to the invoice and she rude and smart with me. I am taking care of the bill because that is the right thing to do, however I will NEVER do business with them again and I caution anyone reading this to do the same.

A-1 Sprinkler sent a technician to our house in May to effect a repair. They didnt get it right. Took them three tries and they charged us for each visit. We called to dispute the charges, and they told us we wouldnt be charged for the second and third visits. Now, 3 months later, we get a letter from a collection agency. Avoid them at all costs!9/7 UPDATE: Interesting response from the owner, as I have a canceled check from the first payment...

I went through a fairly extensive repair of my sprinklers this year, which included everything from copper pipe patching/replacing, misters, drip lines, etc... Bridgette (at the office) and Alex (the technician) were amazing to work with and the service was more than I could have ever expected! I can not recommend this company for all things sprinkler strong enough!!!

Every year for the past 9 years I have used this company to not only service my sprinkler system, but to maintain and blowout my system every fall. When I make appointments, they are always here when they say they will and are courteous and friendly. Keep up the great work guys and see you this spring.

I waited 2 weeks for them to come out for a repair. When they finally came out and did the repair, it kept leeking. Called them the next day. Was told they could not come to fix their mistake for a long period of time. Now I have to go put a stop payment on my check and look for a competent sprinkler repair company. I am a contractor and I know good vs. bad customer service.STAY AWAY from them.

Called on Monday, David showed up on Tuesday fast, honest, bill was easy to understand, no oil drops stains. no complaints 3rd company Ive used out here, and A1 will be the only one from now on!

The technician was on time, confirmed the issue with my sprinklers and fixed the problem. Very impressed with his work.

This is a company who is not responsible for the job done. You will need to pay a very high price for the so-call service from them. As soon as the job is completed. You are on your own. No recall no warranty. Even they tell you there is warranty. They will blame on the client purposely damage the item if there were something goes wrong. They never want to own up their wrong doing. Stay away from this company for sure.

Had Eric out in July to diagnose why several zones where not working. Come to find out roots had grown thru them!! They had on hand the parts, and necessary equipment to remove and re-route the damaged section! Highly recommend very professional!

Alex was very professional and took the time to explain my bill and kept my driveway clean in the process! Highly recommend!!

Eric was awesome made a special trip to go back to his shop to get the timer I selected quickly installed it programmed and showed me how to use it! I give a1 an A+

Only company I will ever use. They installed lawn sprinklers, drip line, raised garden bed irrigation and drip line for the tree line on my 5 acres. Quick clean installation. I now consider the owner a friend.

I thought I needed to have another line installed to reach the center of my yard, Instead of up selling me Terrance was able to change 1 head which he had on his truck and make some adjustments. Honest and fair will continue to use!

DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY!! This company will not take responsibility for any damage or problem they have caused. They forgot to turn off the valve and we have received a bill from Colo. Springs Utility for $1,100. Now instead of fixing the valve they broke it again and left the water running. I was to meet with the owner of A1 but he never showed, he finally showed the following day without calling and he stood there arguing with us why he did not call or show up (he said he was busy) also did not have curtsey calling us today that he was coming I been working since 7am and I was not going to call its now 1pm..

Had a great experience with this company. Showed up on time and did excellent work.

I was charged for services that were never performed. Techs will lie about time spent and falsify invoices. I called a month ago (July 13th) about this and left a voicemail with Linda. Call was never returned. Bridget disputes this (“We check our voicemails.”) Sure you do. Now being threatened with collections. Avoid this company!Edit (in response to owners reply) 8/10/18:1.) The work order does not show price or even an estimate. When your tech left, I was under the impression I would only be charged for a trip fee since he didnt actually do any work. Your tech, Jesse, sat in his truck for at least 25 of those 36 minutes he says he was here. The work order also clearly states that there was no system check due to me not having water pressure. no system check = no spring start up. What exactly do you think he did? The work order doesnt say.2.) While I appreciate the reply to my google review (which Ill be updating based on your companys response) the facts are not correct. I do appreciate your courtesy calls and emails reminding me to pay the bill. However, I called and left a detailed voicemail on July 13th with Linda to discuss this situation. I never received a return call. Perhaps if your company answered the phone during office hours and returned calls (especially since you do not offer an online pay option) you would receive your payments faster.As I said on our phone call yesterday, I am willing to pay a trip fee that is fair and reasonable. Otherwise, Ill be disputing this debt with any future collection agencies and the credit bureaus if necessary.Ive reported your company to the Better Business Bureau as well as the Department of Consumer Affairs for these deceptive and fraudulent practices. I feel it is my duty to continue to share my experiences with others so that they can avoid your company as well.

My father has used them for 20 years, and I will never use anyone else! had one hiccup with a returning leak but Terrance stood by his work and got it resolved without any additional charges.

I had a project that involved three companies, first I had Front Range Arborists come out and remove a tree, they hit my internet line and then called it quits, but thats for another page. Then I had Rich from A1 come out and inspect my yard 3 months before work was scheduled. Then I had Hines Landscaping come out. After coordinating the three teams and getting mostly everything in line problems arose. One problem that pertained to this review was a leaky valve. This was a problem that I was assured could be handled, No problem. And it was. It was the first thing that got fixed and I assumed it wouldnt be a big bill. I assumed wrong.However from the time I spoke with Rich at my house to the time he was working in my yard, three months appox.The total bill for laying down one zone, approximately 18 square feet, came to $625. Not too bad, right? How much to fix the leaky valve? $200! Although I am highly satisfied with the work that has been done I am not happy about the hidden fee that now adds 1/3 of the bill to itself. I do not think I will be recommending this company to my friends.
