This would have been a five star review if the lock installation has been done correctly the first time. Jay (owner I believe) came out to re-key my locks after I had a tenant move out and not return the key. He was wonderful and professional the first time, helped me get the right lock installed. The first time he came out he did not have the keypad lock in stock so if you re-keyed my walk, called around town found the keypad and brought it back the next day. So far great customer service. Then it went downhill.When he came back out to install the keypad lock, he was high. Then he installed the lock crooked and left. It took me another month to get a hold of him to come back out and straighten the lock box. When he did finally come, he straightened it but then misaligned the deadbolt so now it will not lock from the outside. When I asked him to come back and fix it he said he was to have to charge me. Let me be clear, I can’t lock my door because of his poor work and he has yet to come fix it. Can’t get ahold of him or the main business number.This is an unreliable business, if half of star was an option I would do that and I have reported it to the Better Business Bureau.

My car is push start, so after starting my car 2/11/2021 I some how lost it on my way to work. Chris contacted me within two minutes of me leaving a message. I was quoted $270. My dealership that I got my car from gave me the wrong key so one was needing to be ordered. Chris kept us up to date even after a new key was being ordered. Yesterday we finally got what we thought was the correct key but it wouldn’t lock/unlock my car but I could drive it. This is when we discovered I was given the wrong key. Dropped off my ignition cylinder. Everything was cleaned up. Rekeyed cylinder and cut me a new key. My old one was worn out. They were under by 50% and more than the other companies. Put my ignition back together and all is great. Friendly staff. I would recommend them.

Called Magic Key & Chris came out to give me a free estimate to replace my garage door lock & rekey everything to be the same. I ordered a new deadbolt set & texted him on a Saturday after the deadbolt was delivered, letting him know Id like to set up an appointment. He responded that night & set up the appointment for the next day, Sunday. Chris promptly arrived & got down to work. He installed a new deadbolt, where there wasnt one before. He lined it all up & it works perfectly! He rekeyed our front door to match the new lock downstairs & made extra keys. He tested all of the keys before leaving, guaranteed that everything works as expected, and was extremely nice to my family. Great experience from the first call to installation!! Definitely recommend.

After I read the reviews, a feeling of relief came over me. I called a couple of times this morning and no one ever answered. :(

Leo came to my home very late at night to assist after me and my girlfriend had gotten locked out after going to grab dinner. He was very communicative throughout the entire process (even giving updates every few minutes of his arrival ETA). Upon his arrival, he spent at least 15 minutes trying to help us get in the house before he had to break in. Its almost like he didnt want us to have a fee so he was basically giving me pointers lol. Obviously we couldnt figure it out so Leo got us inside. He was very polite when he asked to step and side and removing the entire mechanism so that he could replace the cylinder and rekey it. He cleaned up after himself and didnt take advantage of us in a vulnerable situation. Definitely wont forget him!

Got locked out of my parents house just a couple days ago. They went up to Denver for a concert and were gonna be home late so I had to run to their house to let their dogs out and feed them. The garage door keypad was not working and wouldn’t open the door. I have a key for their house but not one for the new screen door they had installed a couple of weeks before this. My mom called Magic Key Locksmiths and was told someone would be there within 20 minutes and what the total cost would be. Sure enough 20 minutes later, Chris pulled up and got me into the house. He was very professional and friendly. The best part about it was he had the lock picked and the door opened within “I’m not kidding” 2 minutes. I was honestly amazed. That right there tells you the knowledge and experience of Magic Key employees. I paid the price that was quoted to my mother and didn’t have any extra “hidden fees” only the rate that was quoted. Next time I’m in a jam and get locked out Magic Key will be my first call!

Finished cutting my key and programming it in 10 minutes. He quoted the cost over the phone at $80 (this is pretty standard in the industry) and then charged $60 when he did it. Super nice guy, quality quick service, its worth the drive even if you have to go across town. Youre getting quality services at a discounted rate.

Great service. Apparently 2018 F350 proximity keys are impossible to program. Three different places wouldn’t even try. Two guys tried and ultimately referred me to Magic Key. Made a first thing in morning appointment and had it done in 15 minutes for a very reasonable price. For context the Ford Dealer wanted to schedule me for a $75 “Electrical Troubleshooting” and needed almost two weeks to make an appointment- once again the car dealership was disappointing as always. Magic Key was not. i will recommend and go back to Magic Key.

While doing all this, he was answering many calls, so I could tell he was a very busy man. I can understand why sometimes the quoted times could vary... because of people like myself haha! Yaron and crew contacted me after initial call to AAA for locksmith services. I had noticed difficulty in starting my truck over the past few months and researched probable causes and remedies on YouTube. These solutions did not solve my problem. Got a quote and then got price gouged as they were driving to us. Every piece of info they had was wrong. Disorganized and dishonest company. The tech basically blamed us for him getting a speeding ticket on the way in. Told him to leave and found an honest company that was literally half the cost and twice the skill.

Called on a Sunday and they were out to meet me within 30 minutes. My car battery died and all I had was a key fob, which doesn’t work when battery is dead. The gentleman that showed up was very professional and had my door open in less than 10 minutes. He even offered to help me with a jump afterwards. Price was reasonable, especially for a Sunday, even hooked me up with a military discount.

Well I had thought my key broke off in my ignition. Jason was called by AAA (PLUS!).
