Awesome experience!!! During my deployment I wanted to get my wife an awesome anniversary gift and she had sent me a picture a few months back of a ring she picked out here. I came in for ring resize and repair advice. They were very helpful and kind. The rings were successfully resized and look perfect. They explained that the repair I needed was not something they believed they could do to satisfaction. I appreciated the honesty.

The only real problem with Johannes Hunter Jewelers is they have everything that gets my attention. I have spent a lot of money here in the last year and all were impulse purchases. Their selection is so nice that if you leave without it, the piece wont be there when you go back.

We had gone in with an idea; they had helped us find the perfect rings for us and did not try and talk us into a more expensive set. I will definitely shop there again.

I went in with a pair of earings and a mothers ring that has a very sentimental value. Brenda welcomed me as soon as I walked in! I showed her my earrings and said I needed them cleaned. They were pretty rough looking after wearing them daily for 8 years. I also showed her my ring which needed a new opal. She took my earrings to the back and worked with me on my ring. Being about 25 years old and worn 24/7, it too was in pretty rough shape. We looked at it together with her showing me the problems and answering all my questions. Brenda was very professional, informative and friendly. I agreed with her observations and suggestions and turned it in for repair. Before I left, my earrings were done and they looked as good as the day I got them!!Unlike other repairs I have had, Johannes Hunter does their work in store! Brenda ordered the opals and I got to see them before they were put in. I knew the price up front, no surprises! It didnt take very long before it was done and I was pleasantly impressed with the end results!!I would definitely recommend Johannes Hunter and especially Brenda!! I believe anyone in there would be good to work with on your jewelry repairs or purchases.

We had the most AMAZING experience with Rebekah. When my fiance and I were just browsing for engagement rings, she picked up on what I wanted right away and showed me the perfect engagement ring that my fiance eventually ended up surprising me with. She made the entire process so easy and stress free. And THEN, when we were looking around for my wedding band, we knew we had to talk to Rebekah first. My first experience with Johannes Hunter was when I brought in my 14 year old son to repair a very inexpensive chain and he was treated like he was making a $12,000 purchase. More recently, after consulting on refurbishing my 30-year-old wedding set with a private jeweler who made me feel bad that I was trying to be economical and told me what I wanted to do with my ring was a bad idea, I thought I’d give Johannes Hunter a try. I had the great fortune of meeting with Rebecca, who listened to me, made fantastic suggestions to help me stay within my budget but still make my ring beautiful and practical again, called me several times during the process to update me, and - again - made me feel like a VIP customer. I don’t know why we would ever take our jewelry business anywhere else.

My gosh. I would give them 10 starts if I could. Very very personal and fast service: Within fifteen minutes of entering the store they answered all my questions, put my mind at ease, even had options at lower prices than I was anticipating. Their jeweler/welder in the back immediately made a sketch of what he would do to add a stone to my ring and resize it, as I requested. When I came to pick up my altered ring, they knew my name when I walked in the door. I had unusual circumstances, my ring being handmade in India, but they were confident, knowledgable, and interested in me personally.

We love shopping here. We had a ring designed from some family jewelry. They worked with us to get a design ready and the finished ring is beautiful. We also had a great experience with our recent bracelet purchase. I would recommend them to anyone.

We went to a couple different jewelry stores trying to find somewhere we could trust with an heirloom ring that has been in the family for over a hundred years. When we went into Johannes, we were greeted by Rebekah, who was not only incredibly nice, but also very knowledgeable about heirloom pieces and how to work with them. She even went back to the goldsmith to get his opinion on how to proceed with what we wanted to do with the ring. We were looking to separate the engagement ring from the wedding band, which had been fused together, and add a center stone to the engagement ring to make it a 3 stone ring. She was very thorough in explaining everything that would need to be done to the ring to ensure it could be worn for many more years. Rebekah was very attentive to our preferences and helped us pick out the perfect center stone. We received a call from the store saying they weren’t pleased with the way the setting they had ordered to hold the three stones looked, and that they would be ordering a smaller setting. While it was a little disappointing that it added a few days onto the wait, we were very happy they cared about how it all fit together and it showed that they take pride in their work and want things to look great. After a couple of weeks of worrying and wondering, the ring was finally done and it was PERFECT! It turned out amazing and we are so happy with it. The center stone was added flawlessly and everything just flows beautifully in the ring. It is so sparkly and we can’t stop staring at it. Overall, we are so happy we went to Johannes Hunters and had Rebekah to help us create our dream ring!

The best jewelry store! My husband bought my engagement ring somewhere else but had it appraised here. The experience and customer service was so great he said, “we HAVE to get our bands from them. I will not go anywhere else!” We got my plain band and his elysium band from them pre covid... we weren’t going to have them back soon which was fine because our wedding was in September. Well, we decided to elope and Brenda seriously did everything she possibly could to ensure we had our rings in time for that. We didn’t spend tens of thousands of dollars like some of their customers, but they definitely treated us like we did. We will never go anywhere else for any jewelry!

“ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!” Those words would be an accurate summary of our experience working with Brenda at Johannes Hunter Jewelers. My fiance came in looking for a specific setting style for a specific diamond shape, and Brenda completely honored those requests and our budget. What’s more, she noticed certain things within the setting category that my fiance seemed most drawn to, and her ability to hone in on these tastes made the process that much smoother.Most important to us was Brenda’s patience and true desire to find the right ring, instead of looking for a quick sale. Originally, we were going to have a ring custom made, but when the CAD renderings came back, my fiance just wasn’t in love. What stood out to me the most, though, was when she changed her mind, Brenda was right there to support the decision, without making us feel bad or guilty for not going with the original custom made plan (which I know must have taken quite a bit of time already). We went back to the drawing board, and she showed us a ring that she had previously had out for us. She showed us different pairings with wedding bands, and my fiance was smiling ear to ear! When I detailed what kind of diamond I was looking for she was able to order 4 that I was able to choose from. Everywhere my fiance goes she gets told how beautiful the ring is and I get told I did well.Overall, you can get something cheaper online, but it wont be anywhere near the same quality- nor will it be unique. Also, shopping with an actual jeweler like Brenda is an experience you cant get while shopping online.

This family owned jewelry store is the best. Brenda helped my husband pick out the PERFECT ring for me and helped me get his. Theyve always taken really good care of resolving any issues- far beyond what I expected. Theyve been so generous and Brenda knows us by name. I highly recommend Johannes Hunter.

I had an incredible experience with the team at Johannes Hunter Jewelers! I was on the hunt for the perfect 15 year anniversary ring for my wife just before Christmas. I looked at several places in Denver and Colorado Springs. In the end, I purchased from Johannes Hunter because of the great attention to detail & knowledge of the entire staff combined with the excellent selection of product they have to choose from on site. During the very busy holiday season they not only helped me find the right ring, they custom ordered the unique size, brought in diamonds specific to my requests from the East Coast, and completed the setting on site...all in time for it be under the Christmas tree! Johannes Hunter was our first, and only stop in our search for engagement rings – and we knew it the second we walked in the door. Before coming to Johannes Hunter we found a ring design online that we wanted to have made into two identical custom rings. Rebekah Johnson is the consultant who greeted us on our first visit and was very excited to work with us to create our dream rings. Rebekah walked us through the entire process and explained everything very thoroughly and made us feel truly valued.Over the course of about a week and a half, Rebekah worked vigilantly to find us a designer who could make the rings we wanted. After finally finding a designer who could make them we began the design process. Less than a week after choosing the designer we had our first round of CAD images. We went in, made some modifications and waited to see the next round of images. Again, less than a week later we had our final round of CAD images back. Rebekah listened and communicated EXACTLY what we wanted to the designer which made us feel heard and relieved our stress.We are now in the final waiting stage until our custom rings arrive and we couldn’t be more pleased with how this has all transpired. Honestly and truly I cannot say enough positive things about Johannes Hunter and Rebekah.If you are in the market for any kind of jewelry and you go anywhere other than Johannes Hunter, you’re crazy!

We had been unofficially shopping for an engagement ring for about a year, including the big chains, Cartier and Tiffanys, when we stopped by Johannes Hunter Jewelers. Rebekah greeted us right away, made us feel comfortable, and helped us narrow down what became the winning ring. Having visited multiple Cartier locations, we had spent a lot of time listening to sales people explain why their looks were best for us. So, it was a happy surprise when Rebekah wanted to hear about our style vision and find ways to make our ring set uniquely our own. I had a great experience working with Rebekah when I decided to reset my ring and replace my band. I had never been happy with the wrap I originally chose when I got married because it sat very high and was constantly getting caught on things. She recommended a setting that was exactly what I was looking for and worked patiently and respectfully with me through the process. Would highly recommend.

I had my setting replaced by a popular jeweler and eight months later my diamond had fallen out. Lucky, I found the diamond and was able to get it reset at Johannes. They have a lovely staff that really spent time with me and heard my concerns with the previous setting. My first experience with Johannes Hunter Jewelers was about 22 years ago when the store was in downtown Colorado Springs. My husband and I upgraded my Shane Company diamond after five years of marriage. I was given a spending limit by my husband which I adhered to, forgoing the more expensive diamond that I really wanted. The store owner treated me very well regardless of my budgetary restrictions. Over this past Thanksgiving, with my husbands support, I went back to the store, to get that more expensive diamond that I never stopped dreaming about. I contacted the store via the web and Brenda Johannes Boyd followed up with me. I explained what I was looking for and their online diamond inventory was extremely helpful in this regard. Brenda had two beautiful stones for me to look at while I was home visiting my family. She gave me a very fair trade-in value on the stone that they sold to me 22 years ago and a very fair price on the new stone. Im so pleased with my purchase and it was no problem to conduct this business out of state. I would not hesitate to purchase from them again, I just hope is isnt another 22 years!
