Villa use to be the best club! What happened (and dont blame this on COVID because Villa members have been paying the highest rates of any club)?!!!!!I joined because the kids care seemed superior to any other clubs weve been to. After 3.5 years of being a member I am now trying to cancel and they are making it almost impossible to cancel. Here is why NOT to go to Villa. . .* I was only able to use kids care a total of 2 times all summer because they require you to set up a time 24 hrs in advance; however, parents will go onto the online portal and sign up for weeks at a time in advance and there are never any openings. No more showing up when its convenient for you! Everything has to be scheduled 24 hours in advance (if its not full already).*Indoor kids pool is never open. This was one of the big features for us joining. I saw it turned on only one time the entire year this last year (Im a regular). You can go into the kids pool area but they wont turn on any of the water features.*Theft became a huge issue this year- my swimsuit was stolen (hung outside the shower while I was drying off) and my kids shoes (at outside pool).*Absolutely no one to talk to or get info from. You can call their number but you will sit on hold for hours. They want you to do everything through an online portal but the portal is always experiencing technical difficulties.*They got rid of a huge section of the weight area and taped it off for personal training use only.*Equipment, toilets, showers, ICE MAKERS are always broken!!!!!If you dont have kids and you are wanting to mainly work with a personal trainer then Villa will probably work for you- other wise I would go somewhere else.

This is a hidden gem. I had never heard about this place before, but now Im an addict. Work out rooms, saunas, pools (indoor and outdoor) hot tubs that are actually hot🥵, and an incredible water slide with life guard staff that is extremely attentive to everyones needs. Not to mention they have one outside thats even bigger!! We held a birthday for a 5 year old and this was the best decision of our lives. We will be coming back every year for this. They provided all the supplies needed and made us feel like royalty. It really added to the princess status the birthday girl was already experiencing. There was one small misunderstanding with a new staff member, but the place compensated us beyond what was needed just to keep us as patronages. Their customer service and etiquette were beautiful and truly a wonderful experience. Thank you so much for making the bday girl and her mom feel like a princess! You guys rock!!!!

This place has really gone downhill, yet they are still as money grubbing and care as little about the customer as ever. Following COVID-19 lockdown I was super excited to get back into the gym.But upon returning though the gym, seeing what a poor state the equipment was in, not only filthy but falling apart, super disappointing. One of my favorite things about any gym is the sauna, but oh man Villas horrible now. The wood is disgusting grimy and dirty. The teek colored wood is covered in layer of black and falling apart. Yet they take no measures to even do basic cleaning or maintenance anywhere. I sought out management for over a month to try and catch someone to address this with, but it wasnt I was fed up with no response staffers and finally cancelled my membership, that I heard anything back. They dont care about the customer, only the money that the customer pays. General Manager Megan exemplifies this and took no action to make amends. In fact they fraudulently charged my card this past month despite my cancelling. I have already filed with the fraud department of VISA and BBB against these crooked actors. This place is not what it used to be. I mean they have always been greedy and provided horrible customer service, but I was there for the gym and was able to overlook the unscrupulous haughty attitudes of their management staff. But now the gym is subpar why pay $100 a month to an institution that I dont like? Solution: Im not going to. And neither should you. Put your money in businesses that value you, and let the businesses like Villa fall to the wayside.Im at Lifetime now, also overpriced but the customer experience and hours are better. I attached some pictures from one of the emails sent to Villa management. See for yourself why you should avoid this place.

I was super excited to start at this gym been using planet fitness but needed day care. Went in to do a tour as a walk in, was told there were no tour times available, with 3 people standing behind the counter during a slow time doing literally nothing, but I came back next day to do the tour. Impressed with the accommodations, not so much the weight area but it was decent. Went home and within the week signed up for my daughter and myself. Was charged a start up fee of $200 even though they were running a promotion of $0 and it took me 3 days to get in contact with someone to reverse it. Never received a bill, receipt, invoice, payment explanation, contract, app information, or ANYTHING. Just an email stating my membership ID. I was told that I would have to sign up for day care times via the app, it took me OVER 3 WEEKS TO EVEN GET A STOP. I would wake up at 5 and immediately attempt, no chance. Once I did finally get my daughter reserved I checked in and went to the day care only to be told she wasnt on the list. I showed the guy at day care my app and there was nothing he could do. Called the number on file to try to move her to another age group given they had more spots open and she would be of age in roughly 60 days, wasnt allowed and was told that they had a massive amount of people quit and they were short staffed and in roughly 2 weeks there should be more availability. Additionally I was told that certain people were allowed to reserve spots in advance (compared to the 7 day rule on the app) which contributed to the shortage. Ridiculous. Went in today to cancel after attempting to contact the phone number almost 12 times to get no one answering the phone. When someone finally did I was told to cancel in person. Fine. When I went in today I was told that I would be charged my membership fee of $93 because they have a 30 day policy and a $50 cancel fee due to not being with the club for 1 year. I said well I will not nor can I render services due to your lack of employees. Apparently I still have to pay a subscription to which I will not or can not use. I did not receive a final invoice, and was told that I could bring in my husbands orders to hopefully be accommodated for the $50, but I have no contract stating that this would be the fees. Absolutely ridiculous and I would rather go to planet fitness at 10p than go back here. Called my bank, even they agree that this is ridiculous. Save your time, money, headache, and stress.

The gym itself is great but we hardly ever go anymore now that they require reservations to be made 24 hours in advance for daycare. More than half the time spots are already full. An amateur gym run by amateurs. None of the equipment is bolted to the ground, something I have never seen in a gym before. It’s like they want their clients to get hurt. I mean, when you can slide the machines across the floor yourself, something is entirely wrong and entirely unsafe. When I arrive at 5am (when they open on weekdays) their gym floor is a mess with free weights scattered all over without any organization. Everything is just shoved together, way too close to each other, and half of the machines don’t work properly. The staff obviously doesn’t care and they don’t pick up at the end of each day, or at all for that matter. The lack of room to do anything in there is astounding, considering how big the building is. And what working equipment they do have is out dated and in it’s last life. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS KNOCK OFF GYM.

My first time walking into the gym was during prime time on a Wednesday afternoon. I expected a tour, which is normal, but they didn’t have anyone working in sales. Then I was informed it would cost my husband and I $100 for one workout. No offer to set an appointment, no asking for an exception since no one was working to help us. We couldn’t even see the gym before paying $100 to workout. Guess my answer is that I’ll never be a member here.

So frustrating!!! I have had an extremely difficult time getting child care this summer. So frustrating that I have paid for a membership that I have been unable to use childcare for. Yesterday for the first time I went to Villa in August to take my kids swimming on Saturday at 6:00 pm. There were no lifeguards inside or outside. There were no towels by the pools. There was trash laying around. The pool was so cold that the parents let the kids use the adult therapy pool and adults were getting mad. Just overall not a fun family atmosphere. Since I have been a member when the club opened on the first day in 2007, have paid over twenty thousand dollars over the years for my family membership with five kids and the members at the club have become like family I tried talking to the management about childcare. I found out that right now I cant get childcare because the age group 6-12 only takes 3 kids every half hour in the mornings on the weekends. If I was told the truth about the exact numbers I would have canceled a long time ago. Instead of the constant management response of we are in the process of hiring childcare staff yet seeing no improvement. At that number everything my kids love about playing with friends, rotations of activities and interaction with staff members is gone. How has Villa gone so far downhill and the Colorado Springs Lifetime is now one of the busiest clubs in the nation?

Today we tried to use the adult pool way it was too cold. When we tried to use the indoor poor there was a instructor teaching a student swimming. Which was fine however her voice was just piercing loud. And another new woman to the club came out to the pool saying her voice was bothering people in the woman’s hot tub. We proceed to the pool office and told the manager he said she eventually might calm down her voice rather unsure. We went the the front desk and the woman there could care less and said her is your cancellation forms. I truly believe none of them have been taught customer service. When we told the instructor her voice was piercing loud she didn’t try try to soften her voice. We had to plug our ears with Kleenex. That’s telling me that just don’t care about rude employees.

Today I walked in with my 2 teenage kids today with full intention of getting a membership for us as I saw the pricing online was of value to our family. I approached the front desk and inquired about a membership and the lady at the front asked me if I had already scheduled a tour. I said no and she said she will get someone to come up to help. The person that came to help said that we could not schedule a tour today and asked what day we would like to do so. I explained I was interested in the pricing of the membership options and if it would be okay just for us to look around. She said no and that we can look over the pricing on a flyer she handed to me. She then proceeded to tell me with out me asking that she couldnt even get me in today because she had another tour at 3pm. It was almost like we werent welcome there. I recently toured LifeTime Fitness and was given the an amazing experience although they were a bit more expensive. I guess you get what you pay for.

A gym is only good if you can actually use it.The reservation system and the child care here is horrendous.Right now theyre only allowing one child two years old and younger to check in every 30 minutes. So the most they have in for 2-year-olds and under are four people at a time in there child care system which does not work.Theyre too busy renovating the gym, but whats the point if no one can use the gym because they cant get their kids checked in.And the reservation system is horrible. It said I was registered I show up there and they say I cant bring my kid in because Im actually on the wait list but not really registered.I told them that my app says Im registered, but she said its a problem theyre working on but just because it says Im registered doesnt mean Im actually registered. And, If youre not up at 5:01 a.m. to reserve for 7 days in advance youre not getting in, and even if you are up at 5:01 a.m. they may not even have it up so you can reserve a week from now.So frustrating.I tried to book a time for next Wednesday, and theyre totally booked, so week from now I know I can no longer go to the gym wednesday. And many times youre up at 5:00 a.m. and they dont have it ready to register and then you have to check every 15 minutes. The gym itself is nice, and if they could get their act together with child care, we would love to go back there. I like the amenities there and the atmosphere there a lot better than other gyms in the area. But the gym is only useful if you can actually use it, and paying the high price we pay every month to not be able to use it when we need to, its not worth it.If they get their child care act together and remove the reservation system and just let people check in, we may come back to the gym.

Kim has been helpful, but it’s been days and the issue is still not fixed. She informed me that IT knew what the issue was but for whatever reason they aren’t fixing it. So I am a little frustrated that we are paying 200$ a month for a gym that requires reservations and I am doing my part toComply, but the tech team won’t do their part to make sure I can even reserve. I can’t go without childcare so, how long do I just keep calling and calling before someone fixes it ? I even asked if I could give my schedule in advance to be put in manually? I feel bad having to constantly contact Kim, when she isn’t the one who fixes the glitches. It’s hard enough to get a slot and as a working mom of 3 and military spouse I need somewhere reliable and dependable with scheduling. I love the gym. Just super disappointed In the lack of fixing something I was told knew how to be fixed. Really hoping this gets fixed so I don’t have to find a different gym with reliable childcare procedures

Thats my first complaint. My second complaint is not being refunded. We canceled our membership within the first 7 days which would provide us with a full refund. Instead they purposely set the cancelation date for the next month so we would get charged. Not only did we not get reimbursed but in addition to being charged the first month we got charged the second month as well! I called and the persons excuse was oh, they must have done the paperwork wrong. Thats not true because we were there in person and they said they put it in as a 7 day cancelation. She was rude and had a terrible attitude about it on the phone.Lastly, they never pick up the phone for existing clients. You are sent directly to an answering machine. We had to call back again and click on the option for new memberships and then they answered the phone. These people are nice to you only to get you to sign up. We have extremely busy schedules and children (a situation not unique to us), an frequently our daily schedules can change. My husband is still active duty and I run my own small business - making these time constraints and lack of flexibility very difficult. To make this situation even more difficult than it already is, if we don’t book a week in advance at 5am, most time slots aren’t even available. We have been told that we are not allowed to call via phone and adjust our reservation time, which limits our ability to use a service we are paying monthly for. It’s extremely frustrating 1, to not be able to use a service that we are paying for. And 2, being told by employees that the reason they cannot take our daughter is due to understaffing. As a paying customer it should not be our problem that your business is understaffed. We are paying for a service that is not being provided and stipulations to that service have been modified with no financial or contractual reimbursement. I know that when we signed up for VillaSport/VillaKids, this was not the protocol. All of this being said, it would be great to see a contractual change signed by all of your members that use VillaKids if this is the way the business will be ran going forward, and obviously a rate change for members with VillaKids who are not able to actually use a service that they are paying for the way they originally understood when signing up for the club.We are extremely disappointed because although we enjoy being members at Villasport, if this continues to the point we are no allowed to modify our reservations, or there is never any space at the times we can fit a work out in, it doesn’t make sense for our family to remain members.

Aquatic department never answers the phone. It takes them an average of 3-4 days to return calls from when I leave a message. The front desk is not helpful because they don’t know answers to any of my questions. My kids were previously enrolled in their swim program, but Villa Sport has extremely horrific customer service. Was trying to give them another chance after a few years, but they still didn’t improve on a simple thing like answering the phone or returning messages.

Terrible staff, terrible GM. No one ever answers the phone and when they do they are rude and short and not helpful. Called to figure out how I’m suppose to make a reservation and Megan was an absolute jerk. Super rude and when I asked to speak to someone else who could be more helpful she said “okay. Bye” and refused to answer the phone further. Super gross’s I hope she has the year she deserves.

Friendly, professional, great amenities! The only thing my family has an issue with is that the Therapeutic Pool is wonderful for someone like us, that have arthritis and slipped disk....BUT Villa allows families with kids after 12:00 everyday.....little difficult to do Therapeutic swim with kiddos Canon balling into theTherapeutic pool....sigh....maybe change hours yto 2:00 pm or 3::00 pm...gives us people more time flexibility. The kiddos poolooks fun for them, it is right next to the Therapeutic Pool

Always clean, always beautiful. I have been a member here since 2012. Absolutely LOVE the pool!! I LOVE the locker rooms! These guys thought of everything when they built this gym. It is outstanding. I have been a member of other gyms in years past, but this one is definitely my favorite!

Beautiful gym! Its like a mall never seen so much equipment in any other gym here in Springs! Plus it has and inside olympic size pool a rating poll set at 90 degrees a kids area pool that looks like elitches! Plus theres another two pools outside and a total of 3 Jacuzzis one thats inside that goes to Alside one that strictly outside and one thats strictly inside thats in the womens locker room just absolutely amazing and only $90 a month per person! If its a couple membership its only $140 but Im telling you it is completely worth it its like you stepped into a beautiful paradise they have everything that you can possibly imagine to offer very comfortable very nice ice water machines everywhere flat screen TVs everywhere basketball classes just everything too much to mention its worth stopping in and checking it out the guy that gave me a tour was awesome! Plus if youre really interested then well give you a free day pass to check it fully out with a family member for free!

I have found this business to be very unprofessional in the pool area with the lifeguards dress being very inappropriate for a family facility. Numerous complaints were filed with no correction. Members are very unfriendly and rude to new members. I would not recommend this business to anyone

I enjoy the gym, it has almost everything one can need. However, the water park stairs are a death trap (extremely slippery). Days before Christmas I fell from the top to the bottom hitting every step on the way down. The lifeguards gave me an ice pack. I went to the hospital the next day and I was in pain for about 3 weeks. VillaSport should think about getting some type of spray grip for the central water park attraction. Other than that, I enjoy the emenities.

Just call them and asked few questions, the first one was if I can get a pass for few days before I signing for a membership because I see a lot of bad reviews and I want to check it out first. They told me they are no doing that but they have a 7 days money back guarantee. First I dont want to have to wait for a cancelation in case I dont like it and second, to be honest they dont sound like the want my business. After I hang up I called Orangetheory and as soon as they answered the phone was a different history. I like that they have great reviews and they just gave me a free class to check them out. Im just looking for a good gym close to my house and hopefully I just found one.

I hate to do this as I never leave bad reviews of a business. Villa Sport is seemingly going out of business to be honest. They have zero care for members who have been loyal for years. My wife and I asked about the many broken machines right now and we’re pretty much told if we don’t like it the way it is we can leave. Okay we sure will, we loved villa when what we were paying for was actually what we were getting. The Covid thing can’t really be an excuse because this was going on prior to the pandemic as well. Just not on as grand of a scale. If you pay for a luxury experience than that’s what you should get, bottom line. Really disappointed in villa sport, management might want to revamp prices to planet fitness prices because that’s what it has become. Actually PF is probably a notch above villa right now. Fix it or go under at this point!

We had a few very unpleasant experiences here. Then we were promised a full refund since we canceled the day we were charged, and haven’t got it yet even though it has been a month. I have left multiple messages this week and no one has gotten back to me. Go to LifeTime instead; they have their stuff together.

I’m not one to complain in fact this is the first time I am leaving a review. Our recent experience at villa has been really disappointing overall. We have been loyal members of Villa since 2011 and have never had a complaint till recently. It has been frustrating to deal with poor management of the VillaKids, along with the experience over all as members. We have a family of 7 so we typically utilize Villa as a way to spend quality time as a whole. It has been extremely difficult to get our kids in daycare even if we have a class scheduled it is always booked regardless if we try to book in advance. We’ve attempted several times to communicate our issues with the front desk because we are regulars but the front desk associates seemed to not care or take note. Asking to speak to a manager is almost impossible. So after several failed attempts in trying to resolve some of these issues, we chose to end our long term relationship with Villa. We would be happy to come back if we are allowed to book our kids during 1-3pm but unfortunately, that is no longer the case.
