I have struggled with anxiety and stress my entire life, as well as how to communicate with others. I have lost many relationships and struggled to connect with people In my personal life and work.I came to Mind Renewal and started working with Melissa about 2 months ago and in the last two months I have seen major changes in my life. I have been able to focus on myself and the things that I can change to better communicate. She has also worked with me to learn healthy coping skill and mindfulness techniques for when my anxiety becomes overwhelming. But most importantly she helped me learn my triggers so I can address the anxiety before it comes on. Plus she is always so positive and happy, even when I felt overwhelmed, frustrated or lost she made me feel like I could do it! I highly recommend Melissa and Mind Renewel if you want to feel better and feel accepted just the way you are.

I’ve had a great experience with this establishment. My therapist Gretchen has really helped me expose some of the thought processes that have been holding me back and gave me useful advice in overcoming them. The front desk staff is always friendly and efficient.

I have been seeing Carlos since earlier this year. The staff had always been helpful except now. I had an appointment on Sept 9th, but because I got injured at work and dealing with appointments and statements and investigations. My appointment had slipped my mind and I got charged $50 for a missed appointment. I called to see if they would be understanding and give me a refund for it. They said if I called 24 hours in advanced to cancel they would, but since I didnt. They refused to give me a refund. Like how am I supposed to call 24 hours in advance and know that im going to get injured at work??? How??? This is ridiculous!!*update* Its unprofessional how the office manager called me regarding my review. She thanked me for the review, but continued to state that if I wanted to talk to my counselor about it then I should, and how I still continued to put it on social media. Its a honest review from my opinion.

I have been doing EMDR therapy with Sandra, and she has really been helping me. The staff are friendly and professional. I would recommend Mind Renewal to anyone in need of help with mental health issues.

Ive been seeing Sandra for a little over a year now, and Ive never in my life have been able to find someone who actually cares to help for more than a few weeks or month! Someone who has an hour for me & not for half hour or less. Sometime even twice a week! And shes is not just in it for just the money! Sandra has been a life saver for me! She really cares & loves what she does. You just can tell by how she helps! She goes above & beyond to help me figure out what life has to offer & opens my eyes in away I thought I would never see! Im extremely grateful for Sandra & how she is helping in my lifes journey! I dont where I would be without her guidance & wisdom!

Sandra is an amazing and compassionate therapist who has absolutely changed my life. With her help I have been able to tackle my mental health issues that kept me from living a happy life.She is super patient and understanding and willing to explain how and why things work, which helped me personally be able to accept and use her treatments.

Very unprofessional environment. If you have a therapist and your husband also seeks therapy there nothing is ever private. I would highly recommend going else where! This place has been a nightmare for me and my mental health.

Mind Renewal is the absolute best!Finding a quality counselor has always been a struggle, especially since I have Medicaid.The staff at Mind Renewal are incredibly professional and kind. I have had such an amazing experience there. Seli and Bailey are fantastic counselors, and you can tell they genuinely care. Hands down this is the best option for your personal, marriage, and family counseling needs!!!

The best Medicaid option in the city. I went to individual therapy using EMDR with Sandra and will soon be starting couples counseling with Gretchen.

I called and gave my insurance information and was told I could get an appointment in only a few days, over a week went by so I called to check in and they had no record of my insurance information I had given them. If you are struggling with mental health, DO NOT make an appointment. They cannot diagnose and they will not prioritize your needs.

This place is AWESOME!!!!My therapist, Sandra, helped me tremendously!! When other places kept me at the status quo, Sandra got to the root problem of my issues and helped me, thru EMDR, work them out. Now I feel that my depression, which I have been suffering for over 10 years, is gone and no longer have daily thoughts of suicide! THANK YOU Sandra, and Mind Renewal, for saving me from my torment!!!!

MRBH is Unprofessional to the point they leave no option for reviews.Double booked me without so much as an acknowledgment until 45 mins into my scheduled appointment. Reception doesnt know how to do her job. Putting patients lives at risk with loose practices. Look elsewhere for treatment!!!
