Called to ask for some basic info before coming in to the store, Jake said he just wasnt able to give any advice to me unless I was purchasing and installing parts at the store. Acted as if I was asking proprietary information that I could use to make money or something and said it was his livelihood. I would have been a close-by and frequent customer but will be taking my business elsewhere.

James was WONDERFUL to work with when I asked about my PC that wouldnt charge its battery. He was able to see me right away and was readily communicative with any steps he made towards solving my problem. Being a PC enthusiast myself, it was comforting to see him run through every diagnostic he could possibly do, including ones I never would have thought of. While he was unable to repair a very difficult issue, he returned my PC to me for no charge, despite having worked on it for two days.Having his diagnosis and experience at my back made the return process of the PC to the seller much more defensible, and he was more than happy to offer his contact info to the seller if they had any additional questions.Couldnt recommend them highly enough! Five stars well-earned.

Absolutely phenomenal service and communication. I had an issue just trying to power on my new gaming PC my buddy and I had built and needed a professional to look over and see if I had a faulty component or just a simple mistake. Jake got it up and running very quickly and let me know where we messed up in such a timely matter. These guys are great. I was having GPU problems and called a couple times asking questions, and they were very friendly every time. I attempted to clean my GPU with compressed air but it still wasnt running quite right. I had planned on taking my PC to them later in the week when I didnt need it, but due to a noise that started in GPU fan I wanted to get it fixed ASAP. I had the day off and called hoping I could get in earlier and they were able to fix it that day. Noise in fan is gone, lower GPU temps, and FPS stopped having issues. Good prices and good customer service, if my PC is having issue again, I definitely will be returning here.

Jake is amazing and so kind! I had purchased a gaming pc off a friend but it had no drivers reinstalled, so it wouldnt identify the network adapter. Jake was more than willing to explain everything he was going to try, and very respectful of my existing knowledge of computers. Despite having the machine for a day, I was only charged the price of an hours labor, $100. Ill definitely be going back for all my future tech repair needs!

They fixed my laptop after I spilled ginger ale on it by installing a new keyboard. Despite the fact that it was a challenging fix because they had to take apart the whole laptop and put it back together, they did it flawlessly and timely. It was a very affordable price as well as great customer service. Highly recommend.

My experience with them has been second to none every single time. I have a network admin degree and know my way around computers. I just dont have the time. Keep pretty busy with my side business and work. These guys are awesome. Great and fair prices, really they could charge more and excellent customer service. My laptop started glitching when i was using my audio production software. Jake at Brass tacks took a look and said it was the hard drive starting to go out. Had them replace it with a new solid state drive and it is lightning fast and has no issues! Great work i highly recommend you bring your computer in if you have any issues. Need to let you all know, PC Repair-Brass Tacks is the place to go for all your computer, Hardware or Software related issues. Had one of my camera memory cards go bad after shooting a wedding. Took it to Jake and immedialtley started working on getting my pictures back. Within half an hour I recieved a call telling me they recovered all my photos. Been going to them for over a year now and I have never been disapointed. Honest, friendly and down to earth staff. Totaly trust them with all my computer issues.
