Created reservation J77121816F4. The next morning right before pick up, a Hertz employee (he did not introduce himself) called and stated that no more vehicles were left for the type of vehicle we reserved. They mentioned they could upgrade us since we were platinum status. I asked them if they could honor the same price we reserved the original vehicle . The Hertz employee said no. So we were left without a rental at the last minute. What is the point of giving loyalty to a business if the business gives away your reservation and wants to charge you additional fees for a vehicle you did not reserve in the first place?

I am still being charged for my rental car two days after returning it. To make matters worse they act like there is no record of this and no way to stop it. I have to cancel my debit card just to stop the charges. I have now been charged for two days that I did not even have the car and this location closes at 4 and isnt open on the weekends. Really not good. Dont go here for anything!!

Terrible, the one over in Colorado Springs charges around 10 bucks for a gallon if you leave it empty...and the insurance is almost double what we pay in the most expensive place in the US. Im from San Francisco. It was not a good experience but we got it from Priceline and didnt have a choice. Paid close to $300 for an economy compact car for one day only. The last is nice though.

Be careful land check you billing. I was automatically charged a smoking fee and never smoked in the rental car.. Then it took over 30mins of hold music on the 1800 to get it resolved.

DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM HERTZ!! They are sneaky and greedy with their charges!!! Our daughter had never rented a car before and was given one through a claim provided by state farm insurance company. Hertz cond her into thinking she needed additional insurance and earned double the amount for a weekly rental!!!

Reserved a car online through Hertzs own website to be told they do not have that particular car. The only type available is double the price of the original reservation. This is not the first time this has happened.... Happened 11 months ago when I first moved here and was stuck without transportation with my family the second day moving to the Springs... Never again. Glad I didnt just show up at the location like last time as I would be out the money back and forth to a place that cant even call and tell me whats going on after booking....

After hours of looking for a rental car last minute for a family emergency, we came to this location and Derek and Clay worked very well with us. They were able to get us a car even though it was last minute and without a reservation. They were understanding and very professional. We will definitely do business with them again.

If you’re looking to rent a car come see my guys here at the Hertz on Harstel. They truly do everything possible to work with you and get you in the car you need. Woke up from our hotel to find our vehicle stolen. Called Hertz at the airport and they blew us off. Called this location and not only did they come and pick us up for free from our hotel, they had us on the road in a rental in 20 minutes. They were super nice and made everything as easy on us as they could. I highly recommend them and I want to thank all of them for being so kind to us.

If I could give it zero stars I would. I had a reservation with hertz set up through my insurance company. I first called the one on Platte because they’re closest to my house. They told me they would transfer my reservation to the one off woodmen because it was closer to the repair shop and they could get me faster. Well after calling them twice from the repair shop they picked me up an hour later. And didn’t even bring me a car like they were supposed to but brought me back to the store. Where I was then told a man who had been waiting there 30 min would be helped first. I asked if I could be upgraded for having to wait and he said he would look. Doesn’t say anything else and then had to ask the person next to him how to do his job the entire time he was helping me. Then walks out to a car that wasn’t an upgrade, which I took because I had no more time to be there. I was told it was because of their reservations. The whole experience took over 2 hours for me to get a car and I was not offered any sort of apology even.

Hertz is a Great car rental company!! Jason was excellent!! When I called, it was 5:29 pm and he answered my call, even though they closed at 5:30 pm. This was amazing to me. He is an excellent representative for Hertz. He was very pleasant and personable. He took the time to answer all of my questions, assuring that I was comfortable. I had an awesome experience with Hertz!!

Jason stayed late just to make sure I could pick up our rental for our trip this weekend. He didnt have to do that, but it meant so much that he did! He stayed on his own time and did it with a smile, what a great testament to the quality employees that Hertz chooses to be part of their team! He even thanked me for my military service. I would definitely recommend this location just for their customer service, not to mention the great price I got on a sweet car for the weekend!

The last time I needed a rental my experience with Hertz was amazing, but the most recent time was far from. I first had to change when I was dropping my car off due to them not being able to pick me up, which I could understand because they only had two people. When the man came to pick me up from the shop, I tried creating conversation the entire ride back but I guess he wasn’t in the mood. He was rude the entire time cutting conversation short every time I said something and then proceeded to be sarcastic when I told him I wanted to make sure the insurance company could pay for the underage fee because I wasn’t the one at fault. To top things off, he “cleaned” the car in 5 minutes and left someone else’s information in there. The car was pretty messy, crumbs everywhere and shoe prints on the back door. Maybe it was just a bad experience because he was stressed but I feel like no matter what customer service should play some part in a business.

Very pleasant experience. I was in a car accident about a while ago and the insurance paid for the car rental. The people were very friendly and the car selection was very good for my needs. They had me back on the road very quickly and returning it was simple. If I need another car rental, I will be back.

FANTASTIC!! Great customer service. After dealing with bad airline customer service where a delayed flight caused me to miss my connecting flight and the airline rescheduling a day later and they not able to “do much about it” it was a very great experience to have David and his staff go out of their way to get me a car. And also was so helpful getting me to my house and car. No questions asked and easy location to find. THANKS AGAIN

I was not happy with the process for my last rental. It seems that the person working there really didnt understand how to rent cars. Even though there was only one person in front of me, it still took nearly 45 minutes to rent a car.Now Hertz neighborhood rental facilities take pictures all around the car when you rent or return. While Im good with this as it protects me, it does take a long long time!

I was sent to hertz through an insurance claim from an accident I had a month and a half ago. I’ve never rented a car before so I wasn’t sure what was to come. Jason at the platte store basically told me that I had to get insurance on it or I just wouldn’t have any insurance on it so I got it. I called my insurance Less than 2 hours after I got the car and she told me it’s not needed since I have insurance, that it transfers with me. I called and cancelled and was told all charges were going to be lifted since it was the same business day. I ended up having the rental for a month and 4 days because my car was in the shop. I returned it at the store on Woodmen where I was told there was $26.04 owed to them because of the insurance I got. I told the manager that Jason told me it was going to be lifted off. She was very unprofessional (not sure of her name, no one had a name tag on) but she reassured me that she was Jason’s manager and Jason knew what the rule was. She even called Jason to verify and of course he’s going to say he knows that. She said that after 15 minutes of having the car, then it will automatically charge. We asked her where it says that on the contract. She couldn’t find that exact wording but then she changed it to over 2 hours so that’s why I was charged. I ended up paying it and they don’t have credit card machines so they call and say your debit card number very loud into their phones... again, very unprofessional. I will make sure everyone I know knows how this whole thing was taken place. I will never return to hertz again and make sure my friends and family know not to go there again as well. 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

Gotta say, not sure what the people below were expecting, but I recieved nothing but incredible service both during my pickup, and drop off. Zero issues.I almost didnt go here because of the reviews, but I am Sooo glad I did! Allow me to share my experience below:There were a couple of people in there before me, but as I walked in, I was immediately greeted by Clay, who told me they would be with me as soon as possible. A few minutes went by before I was sitting down with Clay getting to work on what I needed for a rental that weekend, last minute notice.Clay had me in the rental in no time. Being curteous and helpful 100% of the way.Upon my return, I worked with Derek to check in my rental, because Clay was cleaning cars getting them ready for customers that day.Derek was also extremely curteous. He got me checked in, and when I thanked him for being so awesome and helpful during both the pickup and drop off, he seemed to be overjoyed like they dont ever get compliments.Be nice to the workers, and you might just get treated nicely as well. Imagine that.A+ for both Derek and Clay at this Hertz location. I will 100% rent vehicles with them in the future, specifically due to the service I received from Derek and Clay that weekend.

Had such a great experience at this location! I have always rented from Enterprise but since they didnt have any cars available all week I decided to try Hertz. I had an insurance claim and got a car right away. I spoke with Talia at this location and she was SO helpful. She went above and beyond to help me and i appreciate her so much! I needed to be picked up and i was out of her radius for a pick up. She offered to get a Lyft to pick me up to bring me to her location. When i got there i was in and out with a car in about 5 minutes. Highly recommend this location!! THANK YOU!

The agent (I believe her name is Katie) rented a car to my 20 year old son whose car was being repaired. He told her how much his daily rate was covered and she got him into that car but also took advantage of him by “selling” him the extra coverage he did not need as all of that is covered on his insurance already. He had never rented a car before and by the time his car was repaired he owed Hertz over 800 dollars. We talked with our insurance people and they explained that this has happened before at this location. My son signed the contract so we paid it....they later credited 100 back but it was pretty deceitful as when she explained it she indicated to him that it was all included in the daily rate.

Today, the manager insisted that she needed to vacuum out a car instead of helping a line of customers with reservations. There was only one person helping customers. No eye contact and no sense of urgency or consciousness of customer service. It took 45 minutes to get into the car that was reserved and waiting in the parking lot but Candice apparently has an immunity to phrases such as sorry for the inconvenience or apologize that this is taking such a long time. Aside from excuses we did get was a reluctant, sorry you feel that way at the end of the interaction. Save yourself from an infuriating experience and rent a car elsewhere.

So Hertz will has no problem with robbing you. The cops pulled me over for speeding in the rental. I had a medical emergency. The police acted swiftly and had me rushed to the hospital in minutes. The officer apologized for the inconvenience because if the location of the vehicle where I was pulled over. Was an unsafe location for the vehicle so it had to be towed. You cant get the rental out of course. That would be to simple. But after calling and informing Hertz about the vehicle. The credit card was charged for 16 day rental and didnt have it for 3. After all paperwork was sent in from the hospital. NOPE!!! No refund. Wouldnt recommend Hertz to anyone. They have no problem robbing you when you have a medical emergency while in possession of the car. There is no coverage for this.

We came in for a last min rental. We said we needed either two seperate days, or we could keep it for 4 if the price was similar. I told them I needed room for three in the back. The guy suggested a midsize and quoted around for 1 day $50 and $120 for the 4 days. When my husband came in to book a few min later a different guy quoted us double. He lowered it to $133 when we told him what the last guy quoted but said we would have to pay the $13.99 second driver fee since my husband made the reservation and I would be driving it. (They had to have a cc and wouldnt accept the one I had in my maiden name or our bank card).I went to turn it in and the total was almost $200! I asked him why he said the rental plus $13.99 per day! Both guys had said $13.99 several times during the rental process and neither of us EVER, heard per day EVER. we would have just rented seperate days or gone somewhere else.When I asked to speak to a supervisor because there is nothing we can do he said there is no supervisor at that location! So I asked for a corporate number to dispute this. As I was in the store on the phone he went ahead and rang it up!Of course the phone person couldnt do anything either and offered a $40 voucher towards next rental! When I asked for their sup she said they were busy but would call me in 1 to 2 hours. Over 3 hours later I get someone who I can hardly understand tell me the same thing.Im giving 1 star because he lowered the price and gave the voucher ( that I may never use).U-Save rentals accepts cash and bank card, and are usually more resonable so I will and would reccomdnd going there for in town rentals!

We rented the van in early spring 2017 and it was a 2016 model Nissan minivan. The vehicle was in good working order and drove great. However, the USB port was not functioning, the trunk of the car was not vacuumed, and the car was not available on time as agreed upon. It was approximately 2 hours late. With that said the service was exceptional and it was an overall good experience.

THE WORST! After a car accident my insurance sent me to Hurtz on Hartzel. I called to schedule, someone took down my info to call me back but never did. A couple days later I called again, after I I recd attitude from the person on the other end & they were too busy to explain anything to me-but suddenly located my file from the insurance, they said I could pick up an SUV that same day. When i arrived, the manager said i wasnt on his list (again with the look that insinuated I didnt call before showing up), he proceeded to mock & call-out the other employee for not writing my name down earlier. Then, he was limited on SUVs and acted like I might not be able to get the car that day.Managers name: WILLIAM CLYMERI was able to pick out an SUV and went through the process of renting. Before finishing the manager told me I needed to buy their insurance for the rental. I asked about my personal insurance and shouldnt that be covering this as it was due to an accident and the rental was through my insurance. The Manager said no, your insurance only covers the car, not the insurance to drive it or any damage. So, obviously I had to agree for them to add a $30/ day insurance! I wasnt thrilled but was too afraid to not buy it. I spoke with my insurance agent the following day and found out that they do cover my rental, FULLY! The manager completely mislead me and I am back at the store now to remove the insurance he sold me. For some ridiculous reason, he said I HAVE to come back to the store to remove the insurance.What a waste of time! The manager is the only person here, he has several people ahead of me and he keeps picking up the phone to talk to other customers about car rentals!! Help the people waiting in front of you dude! He even spoke to someone else on the phone who clearly must work here, I listened to the manager yell at that person to get back here ASAP! And yelled at him for not writing something down. This location is absolutely awful! This is my first time renting a car but this is extremely unprofessional. I finally get my turn and he tells me I have to pay for 2 days of the insurance because they charge per calendar day!!! Ive had the car for less than 24 hours!! Then he proceeds to start helping another customer while Im still standing in front of him, waiting. I asked if he was going to give me a receipt or something. He said I guess I could print something, cool dude. Obviously, the fact that youre ripping me off right now for $60, theres no way Im leaving without proof that you removed the insurance. He then proceeds to tell me I agreed to the insurance yesterday and I reminded him that he flat out told me that my insurance did not work on the rental and he proceeded to yell at me telling me he never said that!!At a minimum, the customer service is below a zero, the quality of the rental process is a flat out stressful and the fact that they couldnt even call me back the first time I called is unreal. One person is here answering calls, cleaning the vehicles and renting the cars is just stupid on the Hertz corporation...i would feel bad for the employee if he wasnt such a jerk! The the reviews on this location alone are terrible, I should have read them first before coming here.

FRAUD! Wish I could give them ZERO stars... I made a reservation online FOR SOMEONE ELSE. All I did was give them my card #. When it asked me if I was the driver, I put NO and put the information in for my friend... who would be driving it. Showed up to pick up the car. The manager, David Ziegenhorn asked me for my ID to verify the card. He asked me who the driver was. I confirmed I would not be driving it AT ALL. I handed him my DL to verify my CC, HE PUT IN MY INFORMATION AS THE DRIVER. When I SPECIFICALLY SAID I was NOT driving it. Thats FRAUD. So my friend goes to return the vehicle, they want to charge her $105 for an additional driver. Because HE ADDED ME AS A DRIVER AFTER THE RESERVATION. Called corporate and they confirmed it was edited at the branch. I had to pay the fee so my friend could leave, and I was given AN EMAIL address to contact to fight it. I am now writing the BBB and every rating agency I can think of. DO NOT RENT THERE - theyre SCAMMERS. Were military and we rent ALL the time - now going back to Enterprise where I KNOW we wont be scammed! BEWARE!

Underwhelming. Getting the car was delayed because passwords in the system had to be reset, gas tank was not filled even though the account said it was (I am still waiting for an email with the update on this), and once I was on the road for ten minutes, the windshield washer fluid light came on. Will likely not be returning to this branch.

I have an ongoing Dispute with this company about the price of my rental car. The overcharge dispute is not really my main concern.The main concern is the lack of customer service. The manager Krystal gave me the worst customer service I have ever received . Bernard was working with me and is very kind. I was talking to him for over 15 minutes about a price dispute before she decided to leave her desk and come over. She didnt ask me any questions and therefore had no information on my behalf before she shut my concerns down in a condescending manner.Krystal, if someone gives you over $300 for a purchase the least you can do is be professional and say thank you.I also got dead ends with her in regards to who I could contact abover her rank to dispute my claim. As if Krystal is the owner of the company and the only person with authority... when you all are done having a power trip please contact me to settle this dispute.

Misleading staff. I used this company (set up by State Farm) while my car was being repaired at a local collision center. The staff was pleasant enough but told me that I was required by the state of colorado to put road coverage on the rental car. They said I had to choose one of the 4 categories. I chose the basic service and was told that was for supplemental insurance (it was not for insurance). I was charged $398.27 for less than 2 weeks use for supplemental insurance that I did not sign for. The contract says that I Accepted the contract, I did not. My initial is not next to the prices. They lied about what was covered.

After the hailstorm we were put on waiting list for a rental. They called us while we were at a doctor appointment. We told them we had to finish the appt drive home to pick up my daughter to drive us up there.M wife just had surgery and cannot drive. Was told to call when we are on the way up. Krystal the manager answered and informed us we did not have a car waiting. She said 4 hours was too long.It was less then 2 hours.She said we have to go on the bottom of the list. KRYSTAL THE MANAGER IS THE RUDEST PERSON EVER AND SHE LIES. I hope somebody from hertz will see this. I am sure there are better qualified managers out there. If I could give 0 stars I would. 8:45AM this morning, this entire site has ZERO customer service skills. My husband and I not only confirmed our reservation the week prior and again on Friday but then drove 30 minutes to pick up a car while our car was getting worked on for repairs. They offered no resolution (i.e. let me call some stores, lets check the airport, etc.). Said they would call me once they got a car. Followed up with them at 1:30 after NO CALL BACK and Jeremiah who lacked any kind of empathy or consideration said there is noting we can do and was all too happy to continue his lack of service with an attitude even after I said arent you goiing to try and do anything he said you can call around to some other stores even after I said I have no car and have to pick up my daughter from the bus stop in an hour an half. WORST RENTAL COMPANY EVER! Now to have my insurance book with Enterprise...
