His attitude is horrible. Stay away all the other companies are busy and he could do it the next day, I wonder why? He makes up stories to serve his needs. If you want a reputable company go to someone else with a good rating. Its a shame he seems like a good guy. Im glad I did not go with him his son takes his side, a poor way to build a company!!!! He also said hes been in business a long time and yet his ratings only go back a few years, how come. Read the rest and than read his!

One Source has gone above and beyond once again in the customer care department. We have recently bought a new home with no AC. Ridge our One Source representative came over and went through everything with me and my wife including the inspection. By the end Ridge was able to help us get our AC asap and at a very affordable cost. He made the experience great and we never felt pressured to buy anything. One Source, with Ridge advocating for us, even found a way to assist us in financing everything. If you have any needs that One Source can help you with I would recommend them whole heartedly to anyone.Technicians are very respectful and actually listened to me and my wife. Didnt feel pressured for a sale. Great company. Highly recommend to anyone in their area of operations.
On Tuesday, 08/13/2019, I, along with several other local business owners attended the BBB-Southern Colorado Breakfast with the Bs event. In very simple terms, the meeting was awesome on several levels.First, the location, Hilton Garden Inn-CS Airport, was easy to access and the staff was very cordial to all that entered. Once inside, the area for the event was clearly marked and the food setup was great. A big thanks to the culinary staff at the Hilton Garden Inn. The actual BBB event started on time and the information provided was extremely beneficial to all that attended.Now the very best part, Jessica Rizzo, Retention Specialist and her Co-Worker, provided an awesome power point presentation that was enhanced by the way these ladies made their point. They did not read the presentation word for word, which is boring. They transitioned from screen to screen as a team without missing a point. Essentially, they used the slides as a guide, which demonstrates their breath of knowledge on the topic.I will finish by stating, every time I contact our local BBB office I get an immediate response or a call back if details need to be confirmed. More than 90-percent of my contacts are handled by Jessica. With that I will simply stop and state, Jessica, thank you so much!
Worst trash service ever.
When we sold our house the buyers home inspector noted hail damage on on roof. The buyer asked for us to replace the roof as a condition of sale.I talked to Dan Carlson and from quote to finish was less than two weeks. He even coordinated with the buyers to allow them to pick the color.Great service all around.
Im a disabled retired Veteran in Colorado Springs, and we appreciate the BBBs assistance in resolving an issue we had with a local home contractor. The issue was the contractor refused to provide the warranty they originally promised. The BBB was fast, efficient, and was able to work with the contractor to obtain the written warranty. Especially appreciate Alexis and all her assistance and responsiveness.
I went to them to be an unbiased record of a dispute between a business and myself. After weeks of back and forth with the business, BBB took it upon themselves to take sides and close out my case and record between the business claiming addressed the problem and that I am not satisfied. The business did not address it and BBB took their side without asking me anything. I wasn’t expecting BBB to resolve my issue, I expected them to stay neutral. Like most of our world that was a lie. Don’t waste your time with this budget bloated unless organization

The Better Business Bureau of Colorado Springs, CO is less than worthless as it gives a A Cut Above Real Estate, a company with MULTIPLE negative reviews an A+ rating Frankly, I see no use for the BBB whatsoever. In fact, I think one star is too good for them.
I have been using Dry-steam for years. There technicians are very knowledgeable and helpful with any questions I have about my carpet care. They keep my carpet looking new. The call the next day to check on the service. And they give you a cute little magnet. I would highly recommend them
I recently used the Paint Doctor to paint the exterior of my house and also the inside of my garage. I was very pleased with the customer service I received from both Melissa and Anthony. Melissa was very helpful in the proposal and was very professional and personable. Anthony and his father did a fabulous job with painting and never left until I was satisfied with the results!

Auto Towing Inc. Horrible service and was lie too. Never use this company again. They dont deserve one star but is the lowest choice. ETA to tow my truck on Base was 29 minutes, then the driver call me 3 times to delay the time because he needed to pick up his old truck. He had trouble understanding address directions Allstate gave him. Upon arriving at the Academy Military Base, the Military Police called me to verify I requested a tow truck, he asked me the address and directions. I gave him BLDG name, streets name, it was from main rd second left and first right (only a few blocks from gate), well driver couldt follow that direction. He loads my truck on the flat bed, drives like crazy on the road arrives at the mechanic, mean while I text the review, he parks on the mechanic parking lot. He comes over and tells me there are extra fees because he paid extra at the military gate. After talking with his manager, then with the Allstate agent asking to see the receipt from the gate he said actually he doesnt have it because he didnt pay for it. HE LIE. He said his company wants to charge extra, he gives me his phone with someone on the line saying that if I dont pay him he will in-pound my truck. well it is a long story,... he gives me my phone back because he said he was on hold, I turn around and he is taking off with no warning I guess to in-pound my truck, I had to chase him, caught him at a traffic light and I called 911 the police to stop him, while waiting for the Police he start smoking a pipe, It seems like marijuana, finally Allstate agent spoke with the towing manager and make him turn around and drop off my truck at the mechanic. This was insane! I asked the driver when we arrived at the mechanic how much was the towing, he said $75 so I told him to add the gate cost to the bill because I had $100 allowance for towing, but he refused he wanted cash, It didnt sounded legit. I am not paying for this.NEVER USE THIS COMPANY, THEYLL TRY TO RIP YOU OFF!

The BBB is only concerned about the BBB. They charge Small businesses a ridiculous yearly membership and do very little. They are losing credibility among business owners. Im not sure what education level you need to work there, but, I believe their standards are pretty low. There are much better resources on line besides the BBB.
I had Rampart Roofing replace our roof due to hail damage this summer, 2015They were terrific. I would have them back in a minute! I dealt with Tom Hennessey who kept me informed, answered all my questions, was prompt in his replies to my questions when I was unsure of the work that would be performed, assured me that it would only cost the price of my insurance deductible (which was true) and was a genuinely nice person to deal with.When they couldnt show up for a week due to weather, he called and explained why, he gave us options for the color of the gutters to be painted, he gave me quotes on gutter guards if I wanted them to be installed, and even got back in touch with us when he was out of town at a convention for his industry.The work took a little longer than they anticipated, which was fine with us, but they called and explained why. Their clean-up was absolutely impeccable. That is the sign of true professionals, in my opinion.I noticed their signs in our neighborhood because others were using them so I asked one and she also said they were terrific to work with - that is why we got a quote from them.I got quotes from five roofers. Their quote was competitive and then Tom told me the total costs and explained every detail. I am very happy with the work provided. There was no pressure to pay up front but I paid them right after the work was completed since everything was done as agreed.Description of work:Rampart replaced our roof and our gutters due to hail damage from this past summer. Screens on our windows were also replaced.
A homeowner policy claim was disputed, beginning, August 23, 2018. Despite an exhaustive effort, the matter was not resolved. The complaint was submitted to the BBB on February 24, 2020. Four days later, the insurance company issued a payment that exceeded the monies requested.
The BBB was extremely helpful in helping us with an issue that we had with a business. Their mediation process and mediators were excellent. I would highly recommend them to help to resolve conflicts that you may have with a business.
This review is about Rocky Mountain Custom Decks located right here in Colorado Springs. They have recently installed a rather large porch railing for us and my wife and I couldnt be more pleased with the results! The owner, Nate, did a very professional and through job and the result is a truly beautiful railing which is a great addition to our house. Not only was the railing installed to our satisfaction, but Nate did a through job of cleaning up the job site when the project was completed. If the need ever arises in the future, Rocky Mountain Custom Decks is the ONLY place I will ever call.
I met Greg Davis, Owner of Millennium Windows and Siding in Denver, Colorado, back around October/November of last year. He came out and gave me an estimate on my siding. My wife was battling Stage 4 cancer at the the time, so I wasnt really prepared to follow through with any decisions. He was very kind and understanding and did not pressure me at all. Since then, I hadnt made any contact with him for months because of what I was going through. I met with him again In late February and on few more occasions while trying to decide on a company that would meet my expectations. Not only is he knowledgeable about the products out there and that he offers, he also has given me the best pricing and has treated me with honesty, integrity and respect. Because of this, I have decided to move forward with Millennium Windows and Siding for the install in the next few weeks. I highly recommend him and his company.

Huge disappoint. Contractor didnt completely redo patio roofing as directed by insurance company. Simply re-coated. Roof started leaking again the following day. Got ripped off by $1,515.03 and BBB did nothing about it. Why does the BBB even exist? I may have to take this higher up the food chain 😠

I had trouble getting money back from a roofing company. I was ignored for 5 months until I called the BBB. The roofer was calling me the next day ready to finally give me my money back. Worked better than I thought it would, easy to do, friendly staff, and cheaper than a lawyer.
I was surprised to find there was a mediation process. The mediators were fair.The follow up on the agreement made with business was excellent.Thanks BBB team for helping me resolve a very challenging issue.
Do not do business with this scam of a company. They will overcharge you, basically lie to you about almost every aspect of your move, and then they will be super rude to you when you contact them about it. I had to unload my own truckload because they only brought 1 guy. Isnt that what you pay movers for???? Every single thing that couldve gone wrong with this company, DID. Also if you do negotiate a refund or compensation of some kind, they wont mail it for months. Best advice is to go elsewhere.
As a long-time member of the BBB, Im questioning whether to remain. Their pricing for organizations is not transparent at all. When you receive the annual invoice from them, it doesnt state what the rate is based on. Apparently, I was paying much more than I should have for the past several years. It took an honest employee at the BBB to inform me what my rate should be and he corrected it for the upcoming year, but the people in charge were unwilling to credit me for even the past two years. When you have a problem with the BBB itself, who do you complain to? If I had to recommend joining the BBB to a fellow business, I wouldnt.

There was much damage to our home includingthe loss of our windows.I placed the order for new window treatments shortly after Ihired the contractor to fix our home. Malia of Colorado Custom Blinds, Shades andShutters, came to my home, measured all the windows and offered decoratingsuggestio which turned out to be fabulous!Unfortunately, the general contractor turned out to beextremely incompetent and it took more than two years to have our windowsreplaced correctly.Malia held the ordered and completed window treatments at herfacility the entire time until I was able to finalize the correct installationof our windows. Malia and her company wereso kind and patient that it was an absolute pleasure and relief to deal withsuch an extraordinary organization. My windowtreatments are beautiful and certainly worth the wait!!!Once again, I want to thank Malia and her firm for all oftheir professionalism, service, kindness, patience and beautiful work!!!
Finally, I have decided to follow up on my experiences with Lisa and her Blindscapes business. Less than two years ago, I ordered plantation shutters for our living area. It was a deal of several thousand dollars. She requires all the money up front. These shutters were made in Colorado Springs from a very reputable company. Lisa gave me a delivery date; then another date; then another date; then another date. I always had to contact her to give me the information - she NEVER called me with info. With the last date, she promised me a refund on a portion of the shutters as she was over confident that they would be installed. They were finally installed months later. Of course, she disappears when she has culpability. I called, called and called. No response. I went to her home. No response. Her constant excuse is that she has been ill and had surgery; she always tells me she is a Christian (perhaps in word but not in deed), which doesnt have anything to do with the situation. PLEASE dont do business with her.
Anytime you search for a business with the BBB, if they are a member company, the BBB ALWAYS gives them a good rating.I have seen company after company with bad ratings from the public and it never fails. If you want to look good even if you arent join the BBB.
I would not waste your time with the BBB, they are merely a money making organization. They have no authority to enforce any judgments. The BBB has adversely affected my business because I will not respond to complaints. The reason I do not respond to complaints is because they cannot enforce anything. Also, if I chose to become a member of the BBB my rating would be an A+. All the BBB wants is money from small businesses and nothing more. They are a useless organization.
Well, since my experience is that if you own a business and a customer offers you a low price for something and you dont accept it, they can write a bad review of your business and the better business bureau will actually accept it. Next time I buy groceries at Wal Mart and they dont accept what I want to pay, Ill write a bad review for them.
I have been a Verizon customer for aporx. 20 years. This year I upgraded phones and had a phone to return to Verizon for credit. At first I did not receive a return label for the phone and so I called to request one. I called over the next several months 4 times and received nothing. I was told that they would make a note so I would not be charged for the phone till we could resolve the issue. As I waited for the label once again I was charged for the phone. When I called I was told the reason I was charged was because I had not returned my phone. I explained why I had not returned the phone and was told again I would be sent a label and then I could get a refund. I waited another three weeks to no avail. I called again and finally a week later was sent and received a shipping label The phone was in the mail the next business day. I am hopeful to see my refund credit but am very disappointed in the customer service received and unhappy that their mistakes tied up my money while they corrected it. Overall this process took three months and numerous calls on my part all with reassurances that the issue would be resolved. Still waiting for my money. Hope it does not take as long as getting the label. NOT GOOD VERIZON!

I used to be a BBB member until I filed a complaint against another member. All the member had to do in response to my complaint was to wrtie a letter. The letter sounded like it was written by a very uneducated person and the summation was I was no longer welcome at American Furniture Warehouse. Like so many organizations, they rely on donations and fees from profitable business to survive. This is not the way to insure reporting that is going to hurt their members. Dont rely on BBB

The BBB of Colorado Springs did a fantastic job of addressing the issue I was having with a company warranty and followed through to make sure it was completed. The resolution would have never happened without them and I completely satisfied with the outcome.
The Paint Doctors did an excellent job on our wallpaper removal, prepping drywall, texturing and painting our large family room and two bathrooms. Melissa Bubacz (estimator) did an excellent job in coordinating our project. Workers (Jesse, Fabian, Marcello and his crew) were very professional. We highly recommend The Paint Doctors!

Having moved due to military reasons, we still had a home that we rented in town. When work needed to be done getting the home ready to sell, using the BBBs website helped out in terms of being able to contact vendors for quotes and review vendors. This is a much better option that Angies List or other groups that never even returned calls or even missed appointments. In previous years when we have had complaints we have worked them through the BBB and they have been fair and equitable. Unfortunately not all BBBs are the same. For those in the Front Range, be happy that you have a good one.

The BBB was created so people could comment, complain and give gratitude to business in their area, this is not so anymore the BBB.The BBB has become an fossil organization that does not allow any negative reviews because the BBB is no longer financed by the government as it use to be when it was a force in the business community, now it is financed by local business so there is a conflict of interest
The BBB is not helpful at all. It is just a waste of time. I had an issue with a company and they reached out to them and as soon a the company responded with “we tried calling” they closed the case and said it was resolved even though nothing else happened and two weeks later I’m still fighting with the company.
Not very good at all. We sent them in all the information on a business..WD Equipment, who was found guilty in FEDERAL Court and now all the information is gone when you search the company AND they are now listed as not rated. They were found GUILTY of STEALING a vehicle...They are a car dealership...they now have expanded and have two different places of operation and you have them not rated and removed all information????????? The owners say they have police and judges in this town in their pocket obviously they have the BBB, too.
Although resolution of my complaint took almost a year, due to my contractors untimely responses, the BBB was key to resolving my conflict. If I had not had this resource available I would have pursued legal actions.Thank you BBB, you saved me from a legal battle.

We used BEO for over 2 years for care of our mother. We experienced 3 caregivers that took advantage of my mothers physical and mental state by taking things of value from her. BEO did not reimburse. They did fire the caregivers, and they were no longer of service to our mother. Our family were assured that there were background checks, drug screening, and that each caregiver was bonded. Instead of receiving support from the company, we were told that it is very difficulty for the caregivers to refuse gifts from their patient, even though the company forbid them to accept. Our family was not supported for the advantage taken by their employee. We were finally forced to seek care else where. I would not recommend this company due to the lack of support they give to the patient and the families when they have hired employees that take advantage of the elderly. The elderly many times are confused, or hard of hearing or with limited eyesight. They need caregivers who do not sneak behind their patients and take from them.
I recently had new windows installed in my home by Jerry Holts company, The Board Management Team. The brand of the window is Alside Fairfield 80 Series Vinyl Windows. The window installer was punctual and professional, and I am pleased with the results. The windows are energy-efficient and reasonably priced. I will most definitely use this company for future home-improvement projects.
It hated it!!!! Warning! Do not take your dry cleaning to Continental Cleaners on Platte and Galley next to the Social Security office. They will lose your item(s) and blame YOU for it.Not only did they lose my only winter coat. A beautiful long down coat, perfect for our Colorado winters. But to make matters worse, they claimed that I picked up my item. Or, that someone I know picked it up for me. And, now suddenly its my fault its and I am to blame. Even if I have the ticket stub (receipt)Honestly? Not only did they lose a beautiful winter coat, now Im a liar and a theft and they have washed their hands clean of the fact that they bear any responsibility.I must have called dozens of times. I only got to talk to several clerks. The owner and the manager never ever spoke to me as they were just to busy. Honestly,when I called I was put n terminal hold and always got a different story. They are looking for it. They would have a manager call me. But, my calls were NEVER returned. So I drove there four to five times and the manger just left or I just missed the owner.Customer service is something that is an unknown word at Continental Cleaners. After hearing all what possibly happened to my coat, from someone must have mistakingly taken it, someone with a similar name to I picked it up I have just about had it up to here.I know their dry cleaning prices are low (I guess you get what you pay for) but I will pay a higher price to know that my items are safe and that I would have some respect from the owner to at least get a single return phone call if I am having a problem.I will never ever go back there again for any sort of business. I had a very bad experience bought a car 5 months ago from Austin Hamilton. Be careful he scammed me for $10.000 he is a fraud he lies when he open he,s mauve. I showed me a 16 Lincoln told me these car have everything i am looking price $26.000 after a couple days I couldnt find the navigation I called him he never answer hes phone nor text. When I walk in to the dealership he ask me what I wanted I ask him where is the navigation and the blind spot than as came out these care was a basic had no extra for over $26.000 . when I told him you a fraud you scamed me for $10.000 I wont my money back he is a fraud I wrote him and ask him to get back with me on my Money. Never heard from him. I will make out an Police Repord and take him the small claims court. Also will write to the BBB I am going all over the internet and write what he has done to me. I was lucky the GM was giving me another car with all futures for the same price as I paid the other Lincoln . I cant believe these guy is still working there he is a criminal. So Watch out dont buy from him you could be the next he going to be scammed He has time to the end of these week if I dont hear from him I take him for the court than more people seeing with what kind of scammed he doing he does everything to sell a car.
I paid for a DVD from Holy Moly Media and never received it. I emailed and left voice mails numerious times, but the company ignored me. So i contacted the BBB. They werent able to contact them either so my case was closed. I guess I expected too much.
Posting a complaint on BBB site got the attention of the business that I needed. The business stepped up and got the job done.
The website is not user friendly for business owners to respond to reviews. The complaint process is good because they actually VET complaints rather than leave them completely unedited, thats why the process is fair.
I didnt expect them to be successful but they were! Im very thankful for their help.
Vivax ProsFrom the first consultation, to setting up project dates, to final walk thru there was clear communication. Marshall (Project Planner) was very well versed about the company and the quality of work that would be provided. He took the time to explain from start to finish how the exterior paint project would go. His initial inspection and estimate was very thorough. I never felt rushed to make a decision but was made to feel at ease.Working with Trevor (Production Manager) was just as easy. He explained again what I should expected from him and the crew once they started the project. Trevor did the final walk through once the work was done and made sure that I was completely happy with the work. I had a couple of spots that needed touch up and Trevor took care of that himself. Was very impressed.Lorenzo and the crew arrive on the date scheduled and on time to start the paint project. They prepped, primed, replaced wood and painted. They were very friendly, courteous, kind, extremely hardworking, and considerate. My family and I never feel like our privacy was invaded. The area was cleaned after every work day which was so appreciated. My house was in bad condition and they made it look brand new.I will also be having gutter work done soon.I will definitely use Vivax Pros again.A great big thanks to everyone I worked with!!Martha
