I DO NOT RECOMMEND this agency. They completely ruined my tax return. They filled my taxes incorrectly and the corrected return will take an extra 8 weeks. Ill be receiving my return in August. The absolute worst experience ever. Where do I begin, put quite simply this company doesn’t care about its clients, at least small business clients. I will say there rates are no different the other accountants I looked into, but there customer service is terrible. Phases charged me $700.00 to do my taxes on top of the $300.00 a month to take care of my QuickBooks. They did a horrible job on my taxes, I owed $8,000 in taxes this year, I hired a new accountant who only charged me $200.00 to do my taxes, and now I only owe $3000.00. They didn’t do anything to help me or my business, and then waited after my taxes were done to let me know I should have filed as and S Corp instead of an LLC, this is what I was paying for, some guidance and help which I didn’t received. I also got bounced between 3 to 4 accountants, and they all were terrible. I blame myself for not firing this awful company sooner. Seems to me all they care about is collecting your money, and not helping there clients. I put one star, but they don’t deserve it. Painful and expensive lesson on my part.

The Level of care has seemed to gone down and tends to be attitude issues with the people you speak with. Every time I call, they seem to not want to assist or give me direct answers to my questions. Im only giving Phases one star because theres not an option to give them zero.I dropped my paperwork off several weeks before April 15th and was assured that they would be filed before the deadline. I had not heard anything for a couple weeks and called the office, concerned as we were nearing the deadline. Debbie was not available, but her receptionist again assured me that the taxes would be filed in time.The deadline came and went and I still had not heard anything. I tried to reach Debbie again for an update and was told she was on vacation. I discovered from the IRS website that Debbie had filed an extension without notifying me or keeping me abreast of the situation.I have called her several times in an attempt to get more information and every time I have called she has not been available.Its how mid-June and I have not spoken to Debbie since late March when I met with her prior to dropping off my paperwork.This is highly unprofessional and I will not be using Phases again and I will tell everyone I know nothing to utilize their services.I will be filing a complaint with the BBB.

The worst possible accounting you could ever encounter. Nothing balances, sales arent filed correctly, hundreds of thousands of dollars off on several things, payroll wasnt even done accurately. Have spent thousands and thousands of dollars on real accountant to unwind the completely inaccurate work done by Phases. Got charged thousands of dollars for work that is so far from auditable its insane. Do yourself a favor and do not work with Phases

Dont mess around with liberty, HR, Jackson etc. When I use to use them I always missed 1000 plus or more using them. I go to actual CPAs. Always get me more money. Usually their prices to file are very reasonable here as well based of past experiences. I didnt use Deb I used another lady and she was very nice and fast to prep. No one likes doing taxes its high anxiety. Especially this year. I was treated well here. I will be returning.

Wish I could give less than one star. There is nothing worse than being promised over and over again that they will take care of everything and then finding out that they have done nothing!Two weeks after I handed in all the paper work I found out that they misplaced it, and to make things worse...they just didnt care.Luckily I handed in the paperwork early so I could still take my stuff and get it to a real professional. One that actually knows what they are doing.Debbie the owner also promised me she would personally take care of my taxes and then I found out she not only didnt do my taxes ...she didnt even bother to look at them otherwise she would notice that all they did was put in the income amount ...dont think you have to be a genius to realize that all the expenses were missing?!?!? Stay away!

I interviewed 3 companies before choosing Phases for my tax return. I was impressed with the tax agent I chose because she answered phone calls ( the first agent I talked with never seemed to be in the office thereafter). Unfortunately, it is too large of an office and too many things delegated to others. When I asked a question, I was told it was someone elses job to handle. They did not send a verification that the IRS had accepted my e filed return and I was told that it is not their policy to do so. E-mails were not replied to. I ended up having my taxes reviewed by a different firm when I discovered that Phases did not input my estimated tax payments and then charged me a penalty for not paying estimates. I will not use them again.

More damage than good. I do not recommend Phases. We used Phases for approximately 3 years and experienced a great number of challenges with them. While there were several things they did do right, there were other areas where they completely dropped the ball. In an effort to leave out the drama and details, I can summarize that Debbie gave me incorrect advice during a buyout with our old partner. The advice she gave me was that no further paperwork was required to show that I became a 50% shareholder at the time we bought out our previous partner and he left. Her office wrote a letter in 2014 staying that I became a 50% shareholder. Now, in March 2018, 15 months after we dismissed Phases Accounting (due to long standing issues with high staff turnover, underestimating income tax due, invoicing months behind so we owed giant sums all at once, and just sloppiness in general) and 4 years after the original letter stating I WAS a 50% shareholder, Debbie has suddenly popped up and produced a letter stating that I am not a shareholder at all and never was. When I emailed her and asked why she would interfere in a divorce and now business buyout, and assist in a one-sided manner without even informing me, her only response is that I knew all along and she told me I wasnt a shareholder. Its painful to write this review, but at this point I would strongly advise anyone considering Phases to KEEP LOOKING because its not hard to find an accountant that will work in an honest and dedicated manner to help you protect your business.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. This company is commiting FRAUD!We went to Phases to have 2 personal and 1 business filed for 2016. We paid for all 3 up front and were told a extension would be filed for us. It was a large chunk of money. We got back 1 personal and the business and found out the extension was never filed when the IRS sent us a notice and a fee. We dropped off that noticed and never heard back from Phases. I had to go request my other personal taxes. She said there was no need to file as I had no refund. Yet I had paid for that service and wanted to file to track alimony and child support. She finally agreed to file for me like we had paid for. I got back a packet of tax papers claiming they were efiled in October 2017. I thought nothing more of it as I was not expecting a return.This year (2017 Taxes) we were filing all 3 taxes again on our own as when we paid someone we still had to do all the work and she just plugged in the numbers we provided. Our taxes got kicked back due to my 2016 gross income not matching. I called the IRS and they informed me today that no taxes were ever filed for me in 2016. The packet of papers I was given staying they had efiled is fake.This company is a FRAUD do NOT use. I will be reporting them to the IRS like the lady on the phone at the IRS informed me to do so they can stop practicing and stealing from people.

Always a learning experience and I am confident that my taxes are done correctly and I do not worry about that. As always the staff is awesome!
