I was a walk-in I was in and out in under 20 minutes. The staff had such an efficient operation going and I witnessed EVERY patient treated with the same kindness and courtesy as the next. If I have to use LabCorp again, I’ll go out of my way to come here.
Very wonderful people that work thereThey treat you rightThey no there stuff Dracula would be proud. Word of advice go at 1oclock,no one is there you can get right in.
This Labcorp at Penrose has a decent enough staff but they are always late with their results. I got my childs blood taken a week and a half ago and just went in to discuss results and it was not there. This is numerous times over years that they are late or never send in the results making the physician call them instead.
11-18-20I had an appointment with LabCorp today at 10:45. I got to Colorado Springs by 8:45. I thought I’d just swing by to see if I could get in early rather then waiting for two hours. They were awesome! I checked in with the kiosk which I was nervous about after reading other reviews. It was super easy for a non-tech person like myself.Andrea was my lab technician and she was a delight to work with. She was very kind, professional and quick. Her skill is really worth mentioning too. I don’t have great veins but you wouldn’t know it watching Andrea. She found it in seconds and pulled off a painless draw in a quick minute.I would definitely go back to this location.
They are great! Friendly and fast - we use them whenever we have any bloodwork that needs to be done. They are gentle and very careful.
Really rude and slow i checked in before 3 people and they all went before me and i was waiting there an hour before everyone that went before i had an appointment no one was at the front window all round a horrible place
This location insists on having you check in via an automated kiosk. My elderly mother could not navigate through the system & the technicians are overwhelmed & do not have time to provide assistance to elderly people who are not as tech savvy. I was there to help her, but I want to warn others. Especially those that maybe relying on a cab or bus to get to this LabCorp. If you are NOT tech savvy, please use a different location. I would highly recommend the LabCorp located at Matthews Vu at 629 North Nevada. Its a small location & they have friendly, personalized service. The Penrose Pavilion is not necessarily a bad lab, its just that they seem to be high volume & stretched thin. Plus the automated check in could be problematic for older people.
Front desk on October 23 at 9:00 AM was one of the rudest employees I’ve experienced. I had waited 30 minutes, then kindly asked if they had my information in as the digital kiosk gave me problems. Despite asking multiple times the front desk complained that she was busy, had no time, that “she can only do so much as one” and that I was “6th in line”. I ended up leaving due to the front desks inability to organize and conduct her job. She even had my chart up, but refused to tell me if she had the information needed.
This place is slower than molasses. I would not recommend this location at all seeing as Im still in the place waiting
Really rude customer service the ladies were awful to me and so incredibly rude, will not be returning to this location
After reading the last reviews, I was skeptical to come to this location. I decided to try anyways, and my experience was great! The sweet lady who did my lab work was very nice and personable. My check-in experience was also fast and seamless! I am thankful!
I drove all the way from Security - Widefield since I think they have excellent techs - gentle. I got there at 11 am and the place was dark and closed. They had holiday posted hours on all the walls and even in the elevator. Nothing about being closed on December 7th. I’m too busy to go there on a weekday and have to fast usually. I will not go back due to this place being closed when I checked on my phone to see if they were open. 😢
Tablet wasnt working well for check in. Took almost 10 minutes to type in information. After that it was another 40 minute wait. Total of 50 minutes waiting after my appointment time.
Super friendly people and greeted me as soon as I walked in, will use them as much as possible
I had the best experience at this site as any I have experienced at any laboratory. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. The person drawing my blood was professional and very efficient. I usually have trouble with my veins rolling. This worker hit it with no problem or pain on the first stick. The only issue I had was that the site opened at 7:00 AM instead of 7:30 AM stated on the website. I highly recommend this LabCorp location.
Would definitely be nice if they took the time to update their hours on their website. THIS LOCATION IS NOW CLOSED ON SATURDAYS! Come on people stay on top of this stuff!
Don’t waste your time making an appointment for this place. I waited 25 minutes after my appointment time while they proceeded to see everyone else is the waiting room. I had to walk out to go to work and never even got my bloodwork done
Thanks for answering the phone at 7 am to answer my questions on this lovely Snowmageddon day. I hope you have a safe drive home!
Website says they open at 8:00 on Saturday yet when I got there the office was locked and dark. So either the website needs to be updated or the employees need to be on time!
I had a critical lab which I should have been notified about because it warranted emergency care as I was in desperate need of a transfusion. Shockingly my dr nor I were notified of the results until 2 weeks later. Unacceptable performance. will not be choosing this lab again and no longer recommend it.
I was SENT here by my doctor. YOU should let the doctors offices know you arent open on Saturdays. Just saying.
This place is a nightmare. None of the staff know what’s going on. The environment is horrible - you can tell NO ONE wants to be here, the staff or the patients. There’s no one to greet you or assist if you have trouble with the check-in kiosks. Stay away - find somewhere else to get your labs done.
Im sure the lab techs here think they are moving quickly, but its the same as any other lab in town. As an RN, its been my experience that most lab rats have the urgency of a garden slug.
Walked in, signed in, blood drawn in 2 min and walked on... AWESOME PEOPLE!!!!
Please update Google maps to refelect your new hours. This location is not open on Saturdays.
First of all, this location was hard to find. Once we finally found it, we realized it was closed and by that time it was too late to go to another location. The website advertises that they are open on Saturdays until noon. Very inconvenient especially after walking around looking for it for 30 minutes. 🙁
The dr that I had to deal with flirted with me and my husband isn’t very happy.
