Our recent experience with Stewart Remodeling was superb. From Oct 2020 to Jan 2021, Stewart Remodeling completed a full renovation of our kitchen. From the initial meeting in August through design, demolition, and installation, the Stewart team was the epitome of professionalism. Our designer, Lorna, and project manager, Brian, worked seamlessly throughout the project to ensure each request—down to the minute detail—was fulfilled. When the initial estimate came out higher than our price range, our pricer, Chris, and his team worked tirelessly to identify options for reducing the cost. Throughout the project, communication was clear and very straightforward. We felt very comfortable with the team and were equally impressed by the subcontractors. Our project was a complete kitchen and main level make-over. We felt comfortable dealing with Tom Stewart and team from start to finish. Tom & the designer Lorna were very thorough and patient as we worked through our not so friendly existing floor plan & multiple design options & configurations. It was very helpful we could see our plan come to life with 3D type software and representations at their office. My wife and I had differing style and finish preferences but Lorna was able to combine both of our styles into something we both absolutely love and have zero regrets. The actual construction process was completed within the estimated time frame & budget. We felt comfortable having all of the various trades people in our home. We did live in our house during construction with our animals and even a toddler! We actually really enjoyed getting to know all the workers. After seeing what an extensive and complicated project our remodel was it was comforting to know we went with true professionals who are very proud of what they do.

Tom Stewart and crew have remodeled our master bath, kitchen, living room, dining room, and built our deck. Tom and crew are honest, professional, creative and do fantastic work! We cant imagine working with anyone else.

Tom and his Stewart Remodling employees have done lots of work on our house over the years: installing vinyl replacement windows, complete Master Bathroom remodel, installing sky lights, etc. I have never once regretted having them do this work! So reliable, honest and a pleasure to work with.

Ive waited a year to write this review and to allow our brand new kitchen, living room, dining room, and bathroom to settle a bit and see some use. Working with Stewart Remodeling was a wonderful experience, and Drews (project manager) attentiveness and attention to detail made the project progress quickly. Small repairs that needed to be made after the aggressive timeline that Stewart complied with were done promptly and professionally. I also appreciated that the same craftsmen and tradesman were in my house and not a crew of subcontractors. This made the entire process feel much more secure and satisfying. The Stewart team was able to take an avante-garde open concept design and apply it to a 55 year old home without any problems or delays. Tara and Tom both helped with the design concepts and they were willing to help us work around a strict budget. I would highly recommend them to any homeowner looking to remodel. You definitely get what you pay for when working with this crew.

We had a wonderful experience! We remodeled a powder room in our home and they made all of our visions come to life, the beautiful custom cabinet is something like Ive never seen. The designing phase was especially exciting and very well organized. Communication was sharp and timely and we were never left in the dark! Would highly recommend this company.

We had our 10+ year old master bath remodeled, having decided that there were too many trades and details that needed coordination by a professional than I could do on my own. The keys to excellence in our minds were [1] quality tile work, and [2] ensuring the details were right. We score Tom and crew at 5-star throughout. It is unusual to be able to feel this confident in recommending a business to others. We have utilized Stewart Remodeling on three different occasions. The first was a back deck design and build. The second was a complete remodel of the master bathroom, new front door plus a side window and installation of new windows downstairs. Our latest project was to redo of the front porch. The front porch project was a small job compared to the other improvements made in the past However, Tom and his team made suggestions for the project that turned a replacement project into an improvement project. The initial price (for the replacement ) didnt go up but the end product was much improved through their suggestions. If you want to partner with someone who will go the extra mile to help you achieve your goal then I would recommend Stewart Remodeling.

We hired Stewart Deck and Outdoor to custom-build our sun-room and deck. They were a pleasure to work with. They were thorough, professional, tidy, and thoughtful. They worked closely with us on the design of the project, checking on building codes, and making adjustments when those codes unexpectedly changed. They offered suggestions for improvements or changes to better meet our goals or stay within our budget. They paid attention to our list of wants and needs and tried to make sure everything was made as requested, with much attention to detail.Their workers were a pleasure to have around, always polite, thoughtful, and neat. They gave us a heads-up whenever there might be extra noise or dust, so we could adjust our plans, and if we couldn’t, they adjusted theirs. They often had to reschedule outdoor/indoor work due to weather, but their main carpenter could do almost any type of work, so almost no time was lost. I rarely saw any of them take even a small break.Their main carpenter’s grown son worked with him most days, and even his daughter occasionally. That speaks to their family-oriented values. We trusted them with a house key when we had to go out-of-town, and they even fed our cat for us. You couldn’t ask more from a contractor than what they provided. Our new sun-room is beautiful, bright and warm. We enjoy it every single day, even though it’s winter. :)

We picked Stewart Remodeling over 3 other contractors for our deck project based upon the bid price and time to complete. The owner gave us a written bid then turned the job over to his project manager for final design. The cost of the project was then increased by 15% from what the owner had submitted. The contract stated a 9 day completion. It took Stewart Remodeling 6 weeks to complete the project. The quality of the job is good, but overshadowed by the increased cost and time of completion. We ordered and paid for our own materials and the project manager insisted on ordering extra materials at our expense. At completion, we were informed it was our responsibility to return the unused extra materials to the supplier. We had to borrow a truck to do so. Some of the extra material was non-returnable, so were out those costs..As for communication, this sure could have been much better. I contacted Mr. Stewart regarding our concerns about the project and have yet to hear back from him.

The Stewart Remodeling team just completed our bathroom remodeling project. We are very happy with the outcome as well as the process. The team members treated us as friends rather than just clients. They looked out for our interests ensuring that every detail is just right. They were very flexible with scheduling around a vacation and other special requirements. The project manager and sub contractors were very capable and polite -- again, as friends that we had invited into our home. The Kraftmade cabinets are of excellent quality and installation was expertly finished. The tile work and painting was done with professional quality. When we changed our minds on some design details, they were very flexible.We intend to call on Stewart Remodeling for future needs.

We hired Stewart Deck and Outdoor to replace our old redwood deck. In comparison with other contractors we had bid on our project, Stewart was very competitive with their proposal. The quality and workmanship of the project was far superior to what I had originally expected. This is our second project with Stewart, and in both cases, we could not be happier with the outcome. Our aging deck needed some repairs and we had multiple contractors visit to give us estimates. We chose Stewart Remodeling from the four contractors we interviewed and are still very happy with our choice. They came in with a reasonable quote and Tom Stewart took us serious as customers, where other remodeling contractors and other contractors we have dealt with for other projects do not because we are younger. Our new home was in desperate need of a new kitchen. Stewarts helped us with a new floor plan, new cabinets and countertops and I couldnt be happier with the results. The cabinets are top quality. Our project manager, Matthew, was easy to work with and our designer, Tera, added some extra visual interest in the cabinets that really make the kitchen unique. Remodeling a kitchen while living in the house is a long, dirty process but this was totally worth it and we love our new kitchen.

My wife and I approached Stewart Remodeling about expanding and remodeling our master shower stall. Our old master shower was nothing more than a phone booth-sized space with nothing particularly special about it. It was not a complimentary part of our master bathroom and we had water leakage issues which were causing mold to form under our wood floors in the hallway opposite the shower.We started a design process with Stewart Remodeling which ultimately lead to an extensive remodeling of our shower including a concrete/tile floor, new shower head, control and lighting, custom shelving, a fold-down seat and wrap-around, frameless glass. The work stayed on-schedule, was completed in the time predicted, was on-budget and absolutely flawless. We love it and highly recommend Stewart Remodeling.

Our shower was leaking and we needed it fixed, so I did some research and chose Stewart Remodeling to do the work. They tore out all of the old tile and put in new tile and fixtures. They did a great job! The price was comparable to other remodeling companies in this area. I would definitely recommend this company and we will be using them in the future to update our kitchen and one more bathroom we need done.

Weve used Tom and his team on a few occasions. Theyve done remodeling and tiling for us and also replaced our deck. Tom and his team are very professional, they provide excellent value for the money and ensure they understand what you want before construction begins. When I need work done, Tom is my first call.

I contact Stewart remodeling about a kitchen remodel, they transferred me to a project manger which went to voicemail, and I left a message. It took them two days to respond to my message. Then after numerous calls and messages I did not receive a call. I am glad I did not go with based on their track record of failed communication. If they can not even call back how can they complete a job on time and on budget or correct for that matter.

They did great, high-quality work on replacement windows for the whole house. Professional, cleaned up well, and at a reasonable price.
