These guys were knowledgeable, friendly,and straight shooters. They were to diagnose the issue, source parts, and get the work done within 24 hours. They had no issues working with the warranty on the car and were upfront about how the deductibles worked with that type of thing. Highly recommend these folks. I will be bringing the rest of my vehicles to them as well.

I had brought my car in about 2 weeks ago. My engine light was on and basically stayed on, even after the initial repair. I had brought my car back on two separate occasions to have it looked at. J and his crew took care of my Audi, fixed the problem, and got me into a membership that should be worth quite a bit more then the cost of it. When I need more work done we will definitely be back.

I will NEVER take my car anywhere else! Legend auto is the most trustworthy, genuine, and quick yet efficient business I have encountered. I have a higher end vehicle that not many places will work on, and a fourrunner. They are working on both our vehicles and couldn’t be more welcoming or professional. BIG BONUS: I joined their AMAZING membership program! Only just over $500 a year for BOTH my vehicles (again one being a high end vehicle) and it covers 5 oil changes, a set of brake pads every year, and road side assistance. Ummmm YES PLEASE. Are u kidding me?! I just moved to Colorado and I may never leave just because I won’t trust anyone else with my cars now! Haha. Seriously, I have never wanted to recommend a business this greatly.

Legend has now decided to focus only on fixing cars and not Body Shop/Painting anymore. My go-to person is Aaron and he is easy to talk to and usually gets the job done very quickly and can get you scheduled in fast as well.

Traveling through Colorado Springs and needed oil and filter change, they got me in on short notice. Service performed was professional and efficient, employees were super friendly. I would definitely return here again for service.

Be Carful with this place. I tried working with Jay to get some insurance body work done after I was hit by a car. Jay took my money and would never get me in to complete the work. I called and called, and always got excuse after excuse. In hind sight I will not pay anyone for parts because they can take your money and ignore you. I tried to cancel the work and get my money back since he wasnt very interested in actually doing the work, and now he ignores my calls. Id like to give him the benefit of the doubt. I understand people get busy but this has gone on for months and he isnt willing to at least pay me back.I would just say to be careful, Jay comes across as a guy who will take care of you, but I think he is in over his head with understanding business practices and knowing how much work he can actually take on.

Got a more then quality paint job on an old classic I had for a more then quality price. Helped me out with all the issues at hand no questions asked.

I brought my Kia optima Hybrid in for a hybrid repair. It needed a starter generator. I called around 7 different shops (Even hybrid places) and nobody wasnt willing to replace that generator. I called Legend auto care, Jay said hed take care of it and that he did. Its good as new now!!!!! I usually have anxiety when I take my vehicles in mechanic shops but I do not with Jays shop. My coworker recommended Legend Auto Care after my 17 Sierra Denali was backed into. The angle of the impact pushed the rear bumper sideways while causing the truck bed to make contact with the tailgate. The truck still had temp tags from the dealer, so you can imagine how upset I was. I wanted my truck perfect again, and J understood exactly what I needed.Im usually a pretty picky customer, and I have to say... I have NOTHING to complain about! I was shocked to see how well the Tri-Coat white paint came out... It looks factory! My wifes 2005 Escalade EXT had a head gasket issue. They were able to replace it for $700 cheaper than other shops in town. Thats great, but the best part is how Jay and Aaron treated us and took care of extra things on the vehicle at no cost. They are truly professionals.

My Mercedes R320 has sluggish power, I have taken it to two Mercedes repair shops and both of them suggested to replace the turbo which will cost me $3K+. I wanted to try with these guys and they are amazing. Very friendly, reasonable rates. The main mechanic Jay is an expert. He opened the power booster regulator and identified a dead spot and fixed it by soldering it. My problem is fixed and they just charged me $350 :-) I strongly recommend Legend Auto for any kind of auto repairs. Great job Jay & Aaron...keep it up.

I took my car in after a very bad experience with my previous mechanic. I was very impressed from the get go with my visit to Legion Auto. The garage is spotless, J was very through with my needs for my car, and his estimate was reasonable, the time line for completing the work was right on. I will continue to send people to their shop when anyone asks if I know a good mechanic.

They were all very nice and polite and did the work fast and efficiently. Jay made sure all the work was done correctly, he was honest about what all needed to be done on my truck (which is a bit of work) but he said his team could do all of it when the time is right is for me.

Two instances.1st one was my wifes 97 Camry. They fixed the door handle and replaced the motor for the window.2nd was my 01 Crv. Check engine light was on and after replacing the O2 sensor, everything pointed towards the catalytic converter. I brought it in and had them look. It was a second O2 sensor on top of the exhaust area and some seals. Converter did not have to be replaced and the cost was less than what I thought it would be.Awesome work! Thanks guys!

Hands down best auto repair shop in town. They took care of my BMW 550 xDrive. I had problems with my turbos they were able to swap them out through my warranty. Now the problem is solved and I didn’t even have to pay anything but my warranty deductible. Thank you Legends I will definitely come back.

Jay is an honest mechanic that goes out of his way to do the right thing by his customers.When the work is done, it’s done right the first time, he stands behind his work.

He kept my car for months, didn’t answer his phone even though I paid a deposit. Then he wasn’t able to actually fix the car. He sold my boyfriend a car and lied extensively about what was wrong with the car. He is the shadiest mechanic I have ever dealt with.DO NOT go to J Ketchum if you want to be charged a fair price and actually want the work done without a lying mechanic. Had to call the cops for him to actually answer his phone after having my car locked up at his garage for three months. Other customers taped notes to his door also begging for their cars back.
