Had Johnathan and Cliff work on our unit. Really great guys. We had gig internet running in less than an hour even though our house’s wiring was messed up. Pro tip they also do wiring so if you want it done right the first time, call them. They also brought up security systems which we were looking into so that was a plus. Excellent service!
We got to hang out with cool people like Cliff and Jonathan. They got us good internet in a timely manner and are very respectful. They were able to provide a security system as well which is super nice. These guys were the BEST!
Needed some rewiring and couldnt get anyone in the area to come out. I called Wirestar and they were at my house in Bryan in 20 minutes. The technicians were tied up and it was the operations manager Jonathon who came out. He looked at my situation and needs and came up with a much better solution and took care of it in no time. Highly recommend these guys for any of your networking or internet needs!
We chose them for high speed internet. It was a good price but their service goes down a lot. Many of our smart devices wont work properly with it.
Jonathan Reynolds came to us while my brother and I were having trouble with the modem we bought to install in his new apartment. He offered great service by trying to enable the current modem, and when that didnt work we were able to purchase the one he brought with him and got set up. He also was very helpful in setting up the TV before he left even though it wasnt part of the call. Pleasant person and overall good worker. Thanks again!

I chose this internet because I have 3 options at my house, in a rural area. One was costing me almost $300 a month so I cancelled it, then I decided to try Wirestar because the person I spoke to said it would work great at my location. Well, after getting it and searching for a connection somewhere in my house I finally found a spot in a bed room that’s on the opposite side of the house. It wouldn’t even reach from the room through the hallway, to my living room! Then the next day it stopped completely, I called and they said everyone is getting new ATT SIM cards to use in the modem but I had to wait 5-7 day’s to get it. So right away I was already frustrated with paying $100 to just get the first 2 weeks ripped off. I decided to get the new SIM card and try it, and it worked a little better but still wouldn’t reach to a room beside of it & if it did connect it would require I sign in and then say failed to connect. After calling multiple times and then telling me to restart it, I asked if a WiFi booster would help and they said yes. They told me they’d look into getting one and letting me lease it from them. They told me that they would get back in touch with me to determine if I could or couldn’t get it within 2 weeks. But without fail nobody contacted me. Nearly a month later I decided to purchase a booster myself for about $200 and it didn’t work/ connect with the modem so I had to return that! Now, after about 3 month a of having this other modem I decided to add up how much time exactly has my WiFi bee off and it has been a total of 9 days hours and 32 seconds. I have called and tried so hard for this company to work but it’s failed me in every way possible! I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone in an even slightly rural area. Super upset it went this way.
Great customer service, I switched from a company called Nomad that offers a cellular data plan which was horrible. I am now on a point to point type satellite and the speed and latency is great. Jason is my contact and installer and did a quick and clean install and even fixed a cable issue so my wireless access point would work without running new cables. I would definitely recommend Wirestar.
What a difference from Suddenlink! Helpful, knowledgeable staff, usable hours, cutting edge tech. They set me up in minutes, and I was only 5 minutes after walking into my house. I had phone service for my mom hooked up through Wire Star a couple of months ago and Cody Vordenbaum was our technician. He has been very responsive any time I needed assistance and seems to go above and beyond for his customers! We had to move my mom to an area that Wire Star doesnt service and am very sad - I can only hope that the new service provider has half the customer service skills that weve experienced with Wire Star!!Id say, with people like Cody Vordenbaum, this company will be very, very successful!Thank you for all of your help and kindness Cody!

Living in a rural location we have struggled to have adequate internet service for years. Someone recommended I call Jason at Wirestar Networks and with his help we have more than awesome internet. We had to put a 60 tower up and had no clue how to proceed. Jason guided us through this process. He told us how high the tower would need to be, he gave us the name of the tower company, he actually did the hookup for Wirestar once the tower was in place. We have amazing speed and so far no outages at all during some less than favorable weather. I would totally recommend this company - and if you get to deal with Jason it would only enhance the experience!

Horrible First Couple Months Were Ok, Now I Can Even Connect My Phone To The Wifi Its So Bad . Submitted Several Tickets Nobody Have Called/Emailed About It . Im At The Point Where I Feel Im Giving My Money Away, And Looking For A New Service Provider

I’ve had Wirestar for a few months now. I switched to them because Suddenlink was ridiculously expensive ($200+ for just cable and internet). I must say I am pleased overall. There have been a few hiccups where the internet has gone out mid-day or overnight, and I had to buy a USB port for my printer because wirestar internet would not connect, no matter what we did. Hence the 4 stars. Other than that, I recommend wirestar, it’s a great price, good quality and you speak to an actual person in customer service!
The people on the phone lines were very helpful, and sent a technician named Jonathan out to our house who helped us set up our internet. So far, the internet has posed no issues for us. I am happy with our service.
I dont know who makes these reviews but I have had one of the worst experiences period with a company . I was said I would have around 25 to 45 MB a second in my area, but for just under 100 a month that is kinda slow . I thought hey they have good reviews Ill try them before Suddenlink but what a mistake that was . I am get consistently 5 MB and lower speeds . only good side is their customer service is always picking up the phone and are friendly . 3 calls and 3 tickets but no fixes in 2 weeks . Will update if anything changes . Lastly there is a 109 start up account fee .Edit - it is official I brought it back and they said they could fix the issue but nothing changed . theyre always there to pick up the phone but they cant fix my connection speeds . I may just have a bad location but as far as I am concerned I am the only one that has actually posted pictures of the speeds I was receiving.
Mr. Reynolds, hello. I want to bring to your attention the Professional attitude of one of your employees. I live in Austin, Texas and WireStar provides internet for our complex. The place is Oak Forest RV Park. It is a nice place, well maintained and it has many long term residents. The individual in question is named, Mike/Micheal. During this time of the Covid-19 I have had to do a lot of my work via internet. Every Friday we have department meetings and it is mandatory that you attend virtually. Well, our connects went out that day and, all day long that Friday, Mike worked till at least 6:00pm, possibly later because we saw his van on site. The following day (Saturday) Mike actually came to my site and asked if I was the individual that got dropped by the internet during a work meeting. Saturday he got my internet back on, came by afterward and informed me that he would be back on Sunday and touch base with me to make sure I was up and running correctly!...Now that is sincere, genuine Customer Service. And, he did all this with a GOOD ATTITUDE. No smirks, talking under his breath, or any of those negative reactions we all as customer experience when a worker just half-heartedly does their job. I was really impressed with his behavior and professionalism that I think it is important his supervisors/Bosses know. Kudos to Mike for his work here at Oak Forest and WireStar should be glad for his employment their because, it really reflects well for WireStar. Thank you sir...Aaron

One of the worse WiFi experiences I have ever encountered. Constant connectivity issues and WiFi outages here at the Ranch at Arrington, which includes loosing connectivity at least once a week.
My experience so far having internet connected to a new apartment:1. Paid the installation and service fee, gave my email and was told Id receive a confirmation e-mail. Never got one.2. Was told itd take 5-7 business days to complete the installation. Was never communicated with close to the two week mark, had to call to remind people to provide the service I paid for.3. Internet speed is currently half of what I paid for. Was told Id get a follow up call on a fix the following day after installation to remedy this, never got it. Going to have to call next week.Daniel and Bryan were very professional and responsive, but otherwise its been a hassle to get things set up. Just being courteous and communicating more would alleviate a lot of frustration.

Let me tell you that these people are great at their job and professional at all times no hidden fees no weird contracts that destroy your credit and no crazy customer service that outs u in hold for hours if you dont have Wirestar Networks then your internet service is a joke
We are new to College Station, moved into an apartment, and were referred to Wirestar to connect us to the internet. Their property manager, Jonathan Reynolds, came out immediately and set up our service, explained everything to us, and told us to call if we had any problems. We called the next day, and Jonathan was here in a very short time and fixed our dilemma. At about 9:30 PM we lost our internet, called, and within 15 minutes Jonathan was on the phone to guide us through steps to reconnect, and stayed on the line to make sure everything was working. He was very efficient, thorough, and accommodating. Fantastic service! Would recommend WireStar to everyone.

Honestly the best you can get in College Station! Technical support and customer service are always nice and easy to deal with. My entire career and most of my education relies on internet, so having a reliable and consistent connection is crucial. It can be a little difficult to get someone to come physically look at your internet connection sometimes, especially during busy times, but the issue always gets resolved efficiently!
Service was quick and effective. He got here within an hour of calling. Cody and Daniel are always very polite and friendly.

Someone came out yesterday from wirestar to set up our wifi but left without saying anything & never set it up. I called this morning & they apologized & jonathan came right away, he was super fast i was still on the phone with wirestar when he showed up. He was funny & got in & out super fast! experience at first wasn’t the best but definitely improved thanks to jonathan & great customer service!
Our power had went out today at my place of business, which resulted in our internet going out. After over 60 minutes on the phone with Suddenlink they told me there wasnt anything they could do and to call another company. After several attempts to get someone to come out to fix the problem nobody could get to us until the next day. After I notified parents of our issue, Wirestar called and said they may be able to fix the problem. Within 20 minutes they had a technician out here and within a couple of hours he fixed our problem. Thank you so much for the great service and quick response!
