Andrew at Autowerks is the best! He kept me updated on my car regularly and made sure I was taken care of. My car was repaired quickly, efficiently, and the repair was priced fairly. Even better, they left the interior of my car clean- something other shops have not done in the past! I have been looking for a car repair shop in College Station for years and have finally found a great one! I highly recommended Autowerks to everyone.

From start to finish, both of these men were attentive to my presence, made sure my questions were answered, and provided me with the knowledge I needed, in order for me to make a very informed decision regarding my car repairs and maintenance. I truly appreciated their services! I would recommend Autowerks to anyone!

This was one of the most professional and best customer service experiences I have had with a automotive repair shop ever!! My daughter drove her car to Bryan without permission. We needed to check the car because it had sat not having been driven in awhile. They helped us have it picked up, repaired, and stored until we could get it due to both my hubby and I having covid. The stress that they took from us alone was priceless!! Thanks to Andrew. Five star service !!!!

I was referred to Autowerks some months back and have been a valued customer ever since. Since day one I have received Grade A service from this auto shop every single time, from the moment I walk in the door to the time my keys are back in my hands. This shop specializes in its knowledge of foreign cars through and through & have a knack for explaining the clients concerns in a way that they are able to understand & make informed decisions. I highly recommend this shop whenever in the area. (They also have a cell number for convenient accessibility)

It’s funny when you get a text asking you to review a business you haven’t been to in roughly 15 years the same way your doctors office would if you had an appointment yesterday. Normally I’d delete such a text and move on but this business warrants my time to leave a review because my recall is all too good for things like an iPod getting stolen out of my car when it was in for service and the shop taking no responsibility for it. Or the time I picked my car up from being serviced (after ~$2k in repairs) only to get almost home and the radiator was leaking and spraying fluid and causing smoke, and it’s because a tech jammed a tool into it for which the shop took no ownership of. When there’s a clear dent mark in the radiator, it’s evident what happened. I’ve had a handful of cars in the years since I got rid of the car that brought me to this terrible place but the memories are still clear from the way I was burned by Autowerks those many years ago. if you are in the Brazos Valley I implore you to take your European makes anywhere else.

Very thorough on a Service D for my 2008 Mercedes ML320. Andrew was great with helping me understand all of the issues. However, if any extra parts are required, this shop as with all non-Mercedes dealerships, takes extra time to get parts located and into their shop. I wish it was ready sooner but with the amount of work done I guess I understand. Four stars is for the high cost, which everyone just keeps saying oh its because its a Mercedes like that makes the pain to my wallet ok...NO IT DOESNT. Recommended if, like me, you just dont like going to the dealer for repairs on an older car and want an honest and reliable shop!

My son just moved to College Station last weekend to start school. His 128i tire picked up a nail or something causing it to have a slow leak. He drove the car to BMW of College Station to have the tire repaired and dropped it off. The dealership had to order the tire. While the car was there, they contacted my son and said there was a multitude of items that needed addressed on the car.1. Front Wipers needed replaced $ 82.002. Brake Fluid Flush $129.953. AC Micro Filter $146.714. VALVE COVER GASKET $908.755. OIL FILTER HOUSING GASKET $538.61I thought this seemed suspicious, so I had him go to a well known reputable European Auto Shop in College Station. The shop spent 3 plus hours going through the car completely with the only findings to be Engine air filter (Remove & Replace Engine Air Filter Element $118.13 +tax ) and Cabin air filter ( Remove & Replace Cabin Air Filter $102.48 +tax )As far as the leaks i.e.. valve cover gasket and oil filter housing gasket, they said is was a result of a messy oil change or oil top off, which happened just a week ago a the BMW Orr Dealership in Tyler TX. smh.SO CONSUMER BEWARE BEFORE YOU USE EITHER SERVICE DEPARTMENT IN COLLEGE STATION OR TYLER TEXAS. GET A SECOND OPINION.BTWTHE EUROPEON SHOP IN COLLEGE STATION THAT DISCOVERED ALL OF THE ISSUES or BETTER STATED NON-ISSUES WOULD BE:AUTOWERKS.Thank you, Andrew, with AUTOWERKS of COLLEGE STATION. Amazing shop, great guys willing to always work with me financially. “Don’t listen to the 1star bad reviews” those are the ppl that like to buy cheap parts that only last 2,000 miles. They know what your cars needs and the right part it needs. I promise if you choose them you will be saving money in the long run. For example my timing chain went out in my mini and the guys at auto works had my fixed up for a fairly cheap price. now what was only supposed to last me for 100,000 (due to timing chain flaw that2009 mini coopers have) will now last me 200,000+Thank you auto works for always taking care of me and also for always working with me financially.

Been a customer for 15 years. Bill, the owner, and crew get things right, and the few times that something went wrong unexpectedly, they worked me in and helped me out. I have tried other shops, but always end up at Autowerks. Over the years they have serviced my old BMWs, a VW, a Lexus and even replaced the engine in a Toyota truck for me. You know Bill does things right based on his repeat customers and his mechanics who have been with him for years. Their expertise is confirmed based on the cars you see in the shop. Over the years I have seen a Lamborghini, Maserati, Jaguar, Aston Martin DB7 and Lagonda, Porsche, Mercedes, BMW, Rolls Royce, Mini Cooper, Audi to name a few. The work they do ranges from minor repairs to major engine work and partial restorations. As an experiment, I took one of my cars to three other shops to address a check engine light--and that included the dealer. After each visit, the problem returned. Finally, I took it to Bill. Problem fixed and never returned. My experiment was an expensive reminder that good service may cost more, but what you get at Autowerks is your problem addressed and fixed for good.

Bill and his entire crew at Autoworks are first-rate--first-rate for service and reliability. The work there is not inexpensive, but you can be confident that it is done right and in a highly professional manner. Ive been a customer there for about 20 years, beginning with work on a 1979 Mercedes SD, which I still have and is running much better today than when I initially took it to Autoworks. Ive had similarly good results with another Mercedes, a CLK 320, that is now 16 years old and was almost totaled when broadsided by a pickup about five years ago. Bill has seemed to take a personal interest in that particular car. Bryan/College Station is fortunate to have a repair/service facility of the high caliber of Autoworks.

After not receiving the level of service one should from a Houston area Mercedes dealership, I had my car towed to Autowerks in College Station. I have a GL 350 Blue Tec with 100,000 miles. With the diesel, my hope is to get to 200,000 miles. The dealership (one I had used for all scheduled maintenance) was a DISHEARTENING experience—in my opinion inflating repairs to steer me into buying a new car. In addition to the routine 100,000 mile service, my DEF system was having issues. They would not tell me what to expect in the way of future repairs so I could make an informed decision to repair or buy a new car. Then I found Andrew from Autowerks! He was amazing. From the first phone call to driving my happy car off their parking lot, the service was exceptional! Andrew took the time to explain what my current issues were with my DEF system and based on his experience, what maintenance items I will be facing if I keep the GL to 200,000 miles. In the end we decided to replace the DEF system. The NOX sensors did not need to be replaced...the dealership wanted to start with Nox sensors ($1900) and then see what else was needed. I’m confident I will be able to keep my GL for at least another 100,000 miles with Autowerks help. When I showed up to pick up my car, I was surprised to find the shop was rather large. The personal attention that I received, I fully expected the shop to be small. I’m very thankful to have found Andrew at Autowerks and plan on a using them for all maintenance even though it means I have to make a trip to College Station from NW Houston area.

I have taken my 2008 Mini Cooper to Bill and his AutoWorks crew for about two years. I bought the car used from a family member who had done NO RESEARCH and bought it used because of its cute color. The Mini had several problems, and Bill has helped me to prioritize them. With each repair, he and his crew have explained their work, charged me fairly, and restored a little more of my confidence in the car.I recently moved to Houston, and my car overheated on a return trip to CS, so I stopped first at AutoWorks. John checked under the hood and showed me how to check and replace my coolant. He then mixed a jug of coolant for my car, topped it off, and gave me the rest to take with me.Before I left, John also taught me a new way to drive my car: an automatic with paddle shifters to make it manual. I felt like I got a new car for driving in Houston! There was no charge for this visit -- not for the service, the coolant, or the sports car driving lesson. For as long as this car can make it to CS, Ill have Bill and his crew work on it. When Im ready for a newer used Mini, Ill enlist their help in finding a good one.The guys at AutoWorks know European cars, and Im grateful for them.

When I went in to pick it up it was the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. The guy called someone and talked on his cell phone for 5 minutes before helping me. Then he couldnt find my paperwork or my car key. I had to go into the work shop and find my own key amongst everyones keys. Finally when I get in my car my front seats and console are DISGUSTING. My material seats are covered in what looks like dirt and EVERYTHING is grimy. Finally, driving off I realized they had run my car down to empty because they decided to drive it back from Houston instead of tow it like they should have.
