I have been experiencing an intermittent issue with my AC System. Technician was great. Walked systematically through the entire system to see if he could troubleshoot our intermittent issue. He educated me along the way ... what he was checking, why he was checking something, what hed expect to see, and what he actually observed.Although my intermitted issue could not be replicated during the visit, I now have some homework to perform when it does occur, things that I will check in order to gather evidence in order to drill to the root cause, so we can rectify the issue.The technician was able to be flexible, and scheduled the visit when it was convenient for me. Today was a great visit. Technician was very professional and timely. He texted me when he expected to arrive, and when he actually arrived. Top notch service. No reason to look at other Companies. Ive found my Heating and Air Conditioning partner!

Highly recommend, had undiagnosed water leak on multiple floors, and NEP were able to test everything and determine both a roof issue and problems with water lines under house. Got an amazing lesson in our old house, even though it ultimately didn’t fall to a plumbing service call- answered all my questions, explained everything, went above and beyond - so appreciated

We had a clogged drain at a house in Troy.NEPS claimed that the entire sewer line needed to be replaced because it had collapsed. They quoted $17.1 K. They also claimed they scoped the line to identify the collapse.We pushed them for a written quote, which they never provided. They also claimed they started digging work on the property which was false too.We brought another company in who water jetted the line. It was clogged, not collapsedWe will be filing a complaint against NEPS with the NYS Attorney General’s office.NEPS should NOT be in business.I think the positive review are just plugs by Neps

My basement was flooded at the start of the weekend. I called NEPS today and Rob came over same day to look at my leaking pipe in the basement. He found that the pipes were not pushed together properly. He fixed it in 2 minutes flat and gave me some advice about an upcoming issue and to keep and eye on it. He did not try to sell me on anything and was very helpful when explaining why my pipe was leaking. He didn’t charge me for for the visit. As a single female homeowner it is a breath of fresh air to find a company that takes such great care of their customers. This was the second time I’ve used them and I wouldn’t use anyone else. Thank you to Rob for caring about his customers and for such excellent customer service. Super highly recommended.

Finally a competent HVAC company. I’ve dealt with 6 or 7 HVAC companies before, resulting in tens of visits, 2 fires (attributed to Albany Mechanical and Chrissafully), and several unresolved problems. NEPS may be expensive, but you get what you pay for. Rob showed exceptional expertise and immediately figured out the problems that others had no clue about. Also nice that they try to save you money and do not try to sell you anything you don’t need.

I called Neps for an estimate to fix a leaky faucet in my bathroom. I was immediately connected with a live professional plumber on the phone and told him my problem. He asked me to send him a few pictures of what wasnt working, which I did. Within 15 minutes he told me what he thought the problem was and sent me a youtube video of how I could fix it myself. My bf was able to go to home depot to get the parts we needed to fix the faucet and it was back to normal within an hour. They saved us at least a few hundred dollars. Great customer service, and I would refer anyone to them!

Due to the weather. We were bombarded with customers that needed our help due to the extreme coldness over a few nights. We were stretched out with all our man power, we reached out to a well-known company to help Us to provide service for those that were out of heat. This amazing company responded quickly and provided service for those in the community we could not get to in time. Great work! Thank you for helping out.

Overcharged for service time and over charged for part $65 for Frenco PFT-150 . This part is $6.80 in HomeDepot and Lowes. Also charged time to get the part from somewhere after 45 mins. Total installation took 15 mins but billed for 2 hours . Initially billed $385 ($150 for Consultation, $100 for 2 hours labor, $65 for part, $60 unknown charges) and finally charged $315 with $60 discount . Really disappointed with unknown charges and over charges.

I called this business with interest in preventative maintenance but the honesty of the individual in telling me I required nothing rather than selling me something I was ready to buy was admirable. If I require service in the future I will definitely call them first.

1-start rating not really correct. Shoot, Id love to try their service but the receptionist told me they charge just for someone coming to the house to prepare a quote for a new AC condenser. None of the other companies Ive contacted charge for trying to get new business worth several thousand dollars so I guess my trial with them will have to wait.

Central air conked out on a 95 degree day. I thought it was dead. Called a couple “well known” hvac repair companies and got nowhere. Rob answered right away and was here within a couple hours. He had it fixed and running again within 20 minutes!! What a lifesaver. Thanks again Rob!

Contacted NEPS because of a leak in my water line. They set an appointment time, arrived on time, and provided text alerts when 15 minutes away and when they arrived.Explained what was needed and repaired efficiently.Would definitely recommend them and use them again if needed.

It was a Saturday night and I had family in from out of town staying for the weekend. We had a surprise drainage leak in our basement and Rob came to the rescue. He was there within the hour, diagnosed the problem and began fixing it. Within a few hours the drainage was fixed and he cleaned up afterwords too. We had a party planned for the next day with even more people visiting that went smoothly. I would highly recommend Rob for any drain repair / plumbing problem you may have. Rob came quickly and was willing to take on a rather old plumbing situation, which could have turned into a big deal. Came when he said he would and took care of the problem. Would recommend them as reliable and prompt. It was more expensive than I thought it would be, but I had another estimate that was even more! Drains were unplugged and all was in order within 24 hours of calling.
