Buying a car should be a great experience. I have been buying cars for while, including top Germans or Luxury Japanese to mention some. Probably close to 20 of them. But I have never experienced such great care from a seller or a finance clerk during paperwork like the one I received from this dealer. I had great difficulty in getting status update on my car repairs from the service department on phone۔Phone is not answered and when answered I was put on hold for very long periods with no one picking up the phone ۔ I Had to call and disconnect 6 times because of long hold time and eventually had to go to dealership to get update on my car ، even in the dealership I had to wait long time before they could give me any information on my car۔ Left message for service manager، never heard back from the service manager۔ Service department appears chaotic and disorganized lots of room for improvement۔

ZERO stars should be an option. Forget about making an appointment here. It took me weeks to finally get one. My appointment was for 8:15AM very simple tire rotation and oil change. I called a few times throughout the day to ask when my car would be ready, no one returned my calls. EIGHT and a HALF hours later I was able to pick my car up. 8 1/2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation. Customer service is horrific beyond belief. This is by far the most disorganized service center ever. I read the review last on Yelp and they were spot on as far as customer service and wait times. Such a shame that something so simple had to be dragged out all day with no communication from them whatsoever.“Feedback- both positive and negative – is essential to helping companies enhance their best qualities and address their worst so they can excel”.

I went in with a specific car in mind and upon arriving Matt was our salesman who assisted us throughout the entire process. He was very patient with me and did not pressure me at all to buy the car. The car sold itself! (2018 VW Atlas SEL) The finance manager Lori was very helpful with the process too as she explained every single thing I was going to sign. Everyone here greeted me as I walked by and had a smile on their face. It was a very lovely experience.

Overall, my experience was very good at this dealership. Ive shopped at many places and my observations about Gunther at Coconut Creek is that they are fair and friendly. The Sales person I dealt with was particularly friendly and easy to talk to, and did not have to speak with a 2nd or 3rd person, trying to apply pressure for a sale. I felt I got a very good deal and did not feel any pressure to buy at my visit to Gunther.

Zero stars if I could. Honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had at a service shop. I have been going to Gunther VW for over 10 years. My family and I all owned VWS & Audis over the course of many years. We purchased several vehicles at the Gunther VW Dealershop. I was even intending on buying a new SUV at Gunther but the service was so terrible I would not recommend Gunther VW to anyone. The service has completely gotten so poor that I am taking the time to let everyone know not to go there if possible! Just a little backstory …I took my beetle to be completely tuned up (intention to be my antique car that I drive only on occasion) & requested the service shop do everything they needed to get the car in good shape & safe to drive. The work on the car was going to take some time and I was intending on spending thousands to repair the vehicle. I asked for a loaner and they explained it wasn’t possible although my car was going to stay at the shop for an unspecified amount of town. I was going to spend so much money (in my books), & I’ve been a loyal customer of the same service shop for years! The service guy stated no per the manager’s direction. I understand the service rep was only trying to follow his boss’ direction & the service rep was polite and respectful. Well ultimately one week later after dropping off my car ..car is still not ready. I asked again for a loaner and finally the manager stated yes. After over 3 weeks at the shop, the car is finally ready and I pick it up …even though we have the entire issue with COVID, the service shop didn’t even sanitize or wipe the inside of my car. They didn’t even place windshield wiper fluid in my car and the car was not washed outside nor inside (of course). By the way, I spent THOUSANDS in repairs. I also asked on multiple occasions if there are any coupons (in the past there always was), I kept getting the answer of no. Ultimately after waiting a long period of time to pick up my car at the service shop (after they told me it was ready), I looked for coupons and there were coupons online so I asked to see if the coupons can be applied. The service rep tried but the service manager stated the price is what it is after I spent thousands! I found working with the manager difficult & she not willing to do everything she could to make me a happy customer. The customer experience used to be so good at Gunther …so sad. Gunther just lost a prior loyal customer who has a family whose purchased vehicles and serviced vehicles at the same dealership for years. You also lost the potential of me purchasing a new vehicle with the dealership when I had all the intentions to buy a new vehicle. Hope you learn to treat your customers better or you are going to lose more customers like my family & I.

Nick was extremely professional was able to answer all of our question and showed us the car that fit our needs. Gave us a test drives and worked out a great deal for us. Left very happy. What can say but just WOW. The best customer service I have ever had! Ramsey made getting a car so easy and stress free. I never felt pressured or felt I was being shown a car I did not want. I was able to test drive 3 cars, do my credit application, sign paper work and drive off all in less than 1 hour and 45. I have never had such AMAZING and FAST service from a dealership. After looking at several dealerships online and test driving several cars, one of my options was at Gunther. I walked in and had the luck to be attended by Jay. I said luck because he was very patient and took his time to show me several options without being pushy. You can tell right away the difference with other salespeople because of the way they communicate and talk to other customers. We agreed on a deal and proceeded with the sale. The whole experience went sideways when we got to finance. We were pre approved by Capital One and we communicated that from the beginning. The finance guy set us up with a different bank because he said that Capital One takes too long to pay them (not our problem) got us an interest much higher, ran my credit 4 times (which lowered my score 10 points) and the paperwork was done incorrectly. Overall turned into a bad experience and now I see why they have such a bad rating everywhere.

Car was brought in 1:15 because “low tire pressure” light had come on. All checks were made. Appointment scheduled. Also shared the car was pulling to the right. Tech stated that the car would be diagnosed and sounded like an alignment would be needed. $115.00 was quoted for Diagnoses & alignment. Requested we leave the car overnight. Agreed.As of 1:30 Friday we had received no call back / update / nothing. I called and left message of the tech on Norman’s voicemail - transferred to his Voice mail. An hour passes with no call back. I called again. Leslie did an knowledge me on hold once - but waited fir 13 minutes. Larry was speaking with me and A. Original text called and was speaking with Brianna/ driver. I ended my conversation with Larry.I am then told of extensive damage on the u derided of the car. This car has not been in an accident and is not driven off-road. Told $3,200 estimate; no alignment; no reference to original service issue. I Informed our tech we would be by to pick up the car. She said she would discount the normal 145.00 diagnostic charge to the 115,00 which was quoted to Brianna.We picked up the car and it was obvious I was/am not happy!We bought the car used from you! If this car was in a previous accident we should have been notified when we bought it!Not happy!

Customer experience in service department has gone downhill. I’ve purchased two cars from Gunther Coconut Creek. Never perfect but always solid and reliable. Was pleased until now. I scheduled routine maintenance was told there were two recalls they would address during the visit. Arrived for my appointment and waited 40 minutes for someone to check me in. After he did, he sat down printing the paperwork for another 15-20 minutes while he chatted casually and joked around with another coworker. Then was told that one of the recalls wouldn’t be done Bc they only do that kind of work during the week. Was told 1-2 hours for the oil change and maintenance. Three hours later, no phone call, no communication, I approached the manager and asked about my car. He said he was sorry, started scrambling then disappeared. Four hours and counting… Still waiting.

I called Larry and left a voice message. He called me, from his home, the next day. He apologized for the delay in his response and told me that he was out sick. He was able to make an appointment for the next day.He tested the car and found the problem. I needed a new battery. He looked back at my records and found that the battery was still under warranty. Because of his diligence I was able to save some money.I was able to get my car after 5pm as promised.

I have a Jetta on lease almost 4 years ago. The lease will expire in about 6 months. I’ve found the battery was over so I took the car to the dealer and they gave me an appointment for almost 1 month later. It was the “best” they had for me. So my car has been in the parking lot for almost 1 month. Finally when I get to the Dealer to change the Battery I was told that it was the only one part out of warranty. So I had to pay $240 dollars for a new battery. I will return this car and I won’t renew with Volkswagen any more.

If you’re dealing with Jorge. It’s not the dreadful experience you expect when buying or leasing a car. He cares about your needs and your needs only obviously there’s a business side of things but he keeps it very transparent. He’s not interested in wasting your time but never rushes you with anything. Second car I’ve gotten through him and I won’t go anywhere or go through anyone else.

Never again. Went for factory software update. Supposed to be done between 1-3 hours. So I came with 2 cars. 4 hours later, no call, no text. I called but kept hitting same recording someone will be with you shortly. So I went there to see what is going on. Asked several employees to get me the manager, but no luck. Finally they brought someone from sales dept. He was nice, apologetic but that was not enough.I had issues with internet sales dept 2 years ago, so I went t Rick case. Obviously there is some serious problems in that facility. Good luck coconut creek Gunther. You will never, never see me or my friends again

Quick and easy, I was able to do everything over the phone. I worked with Eduardo, and based on the situation right now regarding the market for cars, and actually everything, Eduardo was up front and transparent on the deal, which I appreciated. I called multiple dealerships in the area of South Florida and this specific dealership had the best price. I only had to spend 30 mins in the dealership, and Eduardo already had the car ready for me when I got there. Great easy going experience. Definitely will recommend this dealership if you are looking for a VW.

My inspection was done, however i was not called for any updates and they were very lackadaisical in their approach for helping me. I probably will not come back here again. They told me they would provide me with an oil change and fix my entertainment system but when i got the car back, neither were completed.

Working with my sales rep Mike Lair of Gunther VW was a great experience. He had the vehicles that I was interested in lined up prior to me arriving at the dealership. I waited over 2 hours to have a simple car battery changed it would have been nicer if they told me in advance that they were short mechanics and there would be a long wait time. Its post covid to how about at least offering your guest coffee or water while they wait?

Horrible experience every single time - purchasing my car was a blast - utilizing the service center has been miserable, aggravating and exhausting every single time. STAY AWAY - GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!It doesn’t matter if you schedule an appointment - the service team is slow and has no sense of urgency or others time. If you arrive on time or early it will take 30 minutes for anyone to assist you. They never can provide an accurate time frame of expectancy for the job to be done. No one informs you when your car is ready - you’ll find your “specialist” just wandering/loafing around - again not consideration for others time. Twice I have waited at service center for my service and each time they have failed to alert me that my car was finished - given this prior experience I decided at my next scheduled appointment to let my “specialist” know about my prior experience and if I could please be alerted as I need to get back to work. Even doing so, I was still not notified. I was able to walk out with my car without hearing from my specialist on how the service went or any concerns with my car .... I am paying for these extra services and going out of my way to utilize the service center where I purchased my car instead of using a simple no-name auto mechanic. But the service at Gunther coconut creek does not meet my expectations.I highly suggest that you DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE CENTER. If you prefer to use the service center associated with the dealership where you bought your car then I suggest you buy a car somewhere else!!!

I purchased a Certified Preowned 2019 VW Atlas late April 2021 with 25k miles. After two to three months I took it in because the brakes were squeaking. After inspection they told me since the brake pads were ceramic its no big deal it happens due to humidity.After another two months I took it into a third party highly skilled mechanic where he evaluated that the front disk brakes were at 3mm. Brand new front disk brake pads are 12mm. I have put < 7000 miles mostly highway since I travel to Ocala a lot.The service representative notified me that brakes are not included under warranty since its part of wear and tear and that when the vehicle was inspected that they approve anything over 50% and I quote we recommend a change of pads at 55% probably. If in fact when inspected the pads were at 7mm supposedly its very unlikely that I ate through 4mm of the brake pad with 7000 miles.I asked for what the thickness of the pad was during inspection and this was not documented. Theres no audit process. No one is really sure if the individual completing the inspection is appropriately.Its likely that during the Certified Preowned inspection process this was missed and a check box was marked.I do not recommend trusting the Certified Preowned vehicles in this location as they do not commit to the warranty. The fact is that the brake pads are defective and they are not willing to replace them as part of the warranty.

Im not happy the car has been at the dealer for 3 months and the problem is still not solved i picked up car 2 times and each time i would leave the car would stall on me after i paid each times as soon as i would drive out the dealer shut off provlem still not fixed

My decision to give only 3 stars based on ….1 took 4 days to schedule a routine tire rotation. 2. Service person was polite and cordial and informed me it could take an hour to hour and half. 3. There was no service manager or assistant that I could vent my frustration.4.when auto was done I was given keys after paying and had to go look and walk over property and still not able to find my car. 5. After I found a worker and asked him to find my car. It took st least 15 minutes. So I wasn’t very happy about the fact that other workers gave conflicting info as to where my vehicle was. Your lucky I gave 3 stars

I would really love to give this place 5 stars. Very close to doing so. Let me tell you about the experience.My sales person, Stephan? Great guy, really patient and not pushy AT ALL, like a genuinely good person, shows a lot of heart into your decision. I dragged on the decision to buy for about 4 months and I made sure Stephan was the guy I have all the credit of my sale to. Amazing gentleman and you should request him if you decide to come here.The general manager, I feel terrible I forgot his name, but I know he is the GM. Yet another gentleman, carried himself so well and such a professional man. Honestly a tad envious of his way of sorting business, I think he sets a great example and made sure I was satisfied with my purchase.Lastly, the bad tomato. Our finance manager we dealt with, Nicole. She started so lovely as the rest of the staff, very friendly, but the SECOND I challenged the price or the deal we had made, she immediately resulted to ridicule me, said that “you ARE wrong” and after the GM and I came to an agreement, she kept a very standoff-ish attitude and made me and my wife highly uncomfortable. She continued to complain about having to be somewhere else by saying “life outside keeps going! I should have been done with this deal a long time ago!” Sorry I inconvenienced you ma’am, however it is your job. She just had me sign papers and didn’t even explain about how to make payments, what to do about my registration, she couldn’t have ran out of the door quicker. Seriously unprofessional and left a really sour taste in my mouth. Really would like for Gunther Volkswagen to read this so they understand and take the appropriate coaching approach to correct such behavior from their finance manager. I want to recommend people, however I can’t do that until I know my concern was addressed with the appropriate entities.Highly satisfied with the car though.

3 hour wait for an oil and filter change from 9:15 - 12:15. In fact the pulled the car up after wash and ot sat for 30 min until I could chase someone down for an invoice to pay. Also I an electric back up camera issue since I bought the car. Everything in fine they said. Have to back again.

The service is just terrible. Everytime I go here it takes 30+ minutes for someone to even approach you and when they finally do they say someone will be with you shortly and that never happens. Everyone there is extremely lazy, has no sense of urgency, and they almost look like they hate their job. I left my car there for what was supposed to be a day to fix, and it turned out to be 2 months. I recommend you go anywhere other than this place.

My salesperson was Yasmeen Hossain. He was great and he made the process easy without feeling pressured. I would recommend Yameen to my friends and family.

Very nice customer service attendees, however Experience was terrible. Appointment 11:45 am, I was 5 minutes late. I was told 3 hour wait even if on time. Was given Express Service, told 2 hour wait. Attendee took my ticket for free service bc I purchased care there. After 1 hour and car in service area, told he cannot accept ticket. Everything was just a headache and to make anyone wait 2 hours for oil change and tire rotation is just poor.

Made the buy out of my lease easy. Their mechanics didn’t find any “problems” with my car they had to charge me to repair in order to certify, which has been my experience at other dealerships. They also detailed my car for me and did a great job, only problem is I was waiting around two hours for the detail to get done after all the paperwork was signed and I was ready to get back home. Ended up being an all day affair.

From the initial call through to the delivery of the vehicle...if there were 6 stars they would get it.We worked directly with Danielle, Rob (GM) and Emmanuel. All of the reps were beyond helpful, professional and friendly. The dealer offered us a generous deal on a 2021 vehicle. They went above and beyond to get the exact model we wanted and even delivered the car to us at 9:30 PM!!After buying and leasing cars for many years from various brands and dealers (a few VW) I was very impressed with the overall experience working with Gunther of Coconut Creek.
