Wow, I don’t like the dentist very much, and have been having such a hard time finding one that I like, but this place was amazing! Super clean and warm environment. My technician was Michelle and she is so sweet and kept a conversation the entire time. Her cleaning was very thorough but didn’t leave my mouth sore like other dentist offices had prior. Dr. Boers was also very kind and thorough and even checked the tissue of my mouth to make sure everything was healthy (first time any dentist has done that). I am so happy to have found an office that I am happy to return to!

I have been a patient of Dr. Boers for more than 10 years. He was recommended by my sister. I had a dentist that was doing unnecessary work and charging me a fortune. Dr. Boers reviewed the plan, examined me and reassured me I didnt need the work. He has taken great care of me over the years. I had cosmetic dental work done too and it looks beautiful. There is no pain with Dr. Boers. I cannot say enough about what a great a dentist he is. how caring he is, how wonderful his support staff is and how happy I am that I was referred to him.

Dr Boers is great. He is very clear about treatment plans and is always happy and easy to talk to. His staff is professional and very pleasant as well. I have never (in approximately 12 years) waited more than 10 minutes for my appointment to start. This office is always very welcoming and comfortable. I highly recommend this office.

Dont believe the billing department. Do your own insurance homework prior to making appointments no matter what they tell you. They lie just to get you in, then bill you for the service months later.

I don’t usually look forward to getting my teeth cleaned but Tonya has changed that. she’s very gentle with my teeth and very informative on which products are best for my teeth. And super friendly!! always a 10/10 experience there.

Ive been going to see Dr Boers for years. I have never liked going to the Dentist but first visit with David and I was convinced from then on that he cares about his patients and their needs. Strongly recommend if you have had bad dentist experiences in the past as I have to point you had to be in pain to go see Dentist. Then Dr. Boers is your man.

Ive had quite a few questionable dentist experiences in the past, but once I started coming to Island Cosmetic and Family Dentistry all of my worries associated with the profession went away. When they clean your teeth it is very comfortable, and they do their best to make your experience positive no matter what youre having done. Everyone is laid back and positive. Five stars!

Boers is condescending, rude and no respect for patient time or pain. No continuity of care or diagnosis from visit to visit or appointment to visit . Online advertising misrepresents procedures done in house .

Dr. Boers made my tooth extraction very comfortable. Ive never had any work done other than regular cleanings. I was VERY nervous and couldnt stop shaking. 20 minutes later my tooth was out and I didnt even realize he was pulling it! I thought he was checking to make sure I was numb. I would recommened this dentist to anyone. The rest staff is also very helpful and friendly. Now 6 and a half hours later and it doesnt even hurt. I will be switching to him for my regular visits for now on.
