Enjoyed my stay. The resort is a little dated, but it was very clean. It had a kitchen, two bathrooms. We had an ocean view, this could not get any better. The staff was super friendly and provided a map of the area and where to eat and site see.I would definitely stay here again.
Our experience has always been great over the last 25 years +. We all enjoy it every year. Never fails us at all. We are looking forward to our upcoming week soon. Thank You Ocean Landings. I know my Mom and Dad miss enjoying it too. I wish they were here. - Chris Welsh
Convenient access to beaches with beach accessible wheelchairs. A hop & skip, not even a jump from downtown Cocoa Beach area( where the locals go). Shopping plazas are endless. No more than 2 miles to the Thousand Islands conservation area, great scenery of wildlife while paddling your kayak or board. When you think location location location, its Oceans Landings.
Property is well maintained and clean, the staff and people here are friendly and outgoing. The amenities are nice as well.
The timeshare resort buildings are very spacious, comfortable and all are beach front. Clean units and grounds. Been here four times over the years and would definitely go again if it comes available. The pool areas are clean and the food is great at the resort. They also have motel units and a pool and grill located near the pool.
Very friendly staff. The rooms was super clean with very comfy beds. Super convenient with a short walk to the beach and having 2 pools was great. Definitely would recommend staying here and will be back.
It has become increasingly difficult to exchange our timeshare, therefore, we gave up trying. We entered into this contract because it was portrayed to us as a “great investment.” We have since found that it is virtually impossible to sell. Every time we visited the resort, we saw its conditions were declining. We encounter a different issue every time we go. There is either a pungent smell or there are appliances or furniture broken. We have reached out to the staff at the resort and they were lazy, unprofessional, and unhelpful, they simply didn’t care. Because of these issues, we haven’t revisited the resort. We have tried contacting the resort to express our issues but they refuse to offer their owners any assistance or way out.
I was offered an extra stay through a timeshare group to stay here. I got a hotel room, not a condo. If you rent a hotel room for more than a few days, be aware there is no hair dryer, iron, ironing board like youd find in other hotel rooms. There is microwave and small hotel fridge. I stayed for a week and was looking forward to doing much cooking. If you are the same, make sure you bring your own pots, pans, casserole dishes, blender, toaster oven, etc. They DO have an awesome community kitchen with FOUR stoves and ovens! Was fun to cook in there and had I known, Id have brought more cooking stuff. The small kitchen area was over run by ants but better than roaches, right? The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Housekeeping is open until 4pm so you can walk up anytime during those hours and exchange your dirty towels (I reused mine as much as I could) with no questions. The premises has a tiny, family owned cafe that has reasonable prices and when they are not open, there is a Dennys across the street. Biking distance is many, many tiki bars and I highly suggest you bring your bike as parking is at a premium in this town. Please dont forget to tip the housekeepers upon leaving. They work very hard and clean up after us and deserve every penny we can afford to give them.I would recommend this resort. Its not a 4 or 5 star, but was very accommodating.
Very nice condos. The front desk could be a little nicer. We checked in and all she told us was how much everything would cost if we lost it or damaged it. We had to find out about all the crafts and rental equipment and game room. From someone else. There was no schedule in the room for activities. And we didnt get the room we where supposed to get we scheduled a 4th floor room and got a bottom floor room with no ocean view. Front desk clerk and I believe the manager was up front and well they either had a bad day or need to find a better personality cause when asked about the room we scheduled she very shortly said you cant pay attention to whats on the paper 🤔🤔🤨🤨 other than that. The cleaning staff was awesome help. And the guy in the store that we didnt know was there till day 4 was awesome help. And the pool closes at 10 not 11 which is what it says on the website. Cant go by what that says either I guess 🤣🤣😆
Great people, rooms are nice and cool. Everything is very clean, well thought out. Pool and hot tub was a blessing, for our winding down stay. We will be back.
Everything about my stays at Ocean Landings has been great. My rooms have been spacious, comfortable and very clean. The staff have always been attentive to my needs and requests, pleasant and very professional. I highly recommend this resort.
It’s really a great value to be so close to the beach. I’ve always been happing with the cleanliness of the rooms and the friendliness of the staff. Walkable to the beach and just right priced. Rooms have a microwave and a fridge, which is great for storing and heating up leftovers from the many eating options in Cocoa Beach. There’s also a warming kitchen and grills available.
The place was nice although a bit run down. Could use a face-lift. Loved the private beach. My complaint is for the folks at the front desk. Not friendly and when we checked out the lady said they would release the hold they put on my husbands card and we still dont have that money back in the card. This is not acceptable!
I would give more stars if not for the rude front desk who have no idea how to treat guests, no smile, no welcome. We have been made to wait until almost 5pm to get into the room, only to be notified all of a sudden few days later that we have to move to a different room. No apologies, they told us to pack the day before and then sit in our room the next day until they call us to move and then we had to move our stuff within an hour- more of a boot camp than a beach vacation, and that is for over $230 per night. Final touch - when I came to exchange the keys, they asked me to sign that the check out is at 10am instead of 11am, as previously told. I am going to demand some money back. Other than that, the rooms and housekeepers are nice, if we only had a chance to enjoy it more
The photos make the place look way better than reality
A bit dated but you cant beat a 200 yard walk and youre in the ocean. The restaurant is nice, the pool is cool. Great place to relax and chill.
Although building is older, it is kept clean and maintained. Would have liked a small breakfast for a room costing $134.00 that was not ocean front. Also requested late checkout which was denied. We had to check out of our room by 10am. They did allow us to use pool etc. after ck out time.
Checked in twice and both times got the wrong room. Management was down right nasty when asked to use basic hospitality to correct these mistakes. After working front desk at nice properties in DISGUSTED with how we were treated spending over 300 here in a weekend.
Ladies at front desk were so unfriendly and unprofessional. Coming from someone who studied travel, tourism and hospitality, plus worked front desk, the kindness and hospitality was such a turn off. We will not recommend or ever stay here again. We finally did encounter a friendly lady right at the end of our stay, but the rest of the staff was completely unfriendly. And just an added comment, everything is outdated.
Our stay was better than expected. Stayed in a hotel executive suite (studio). Small but worked for 2. Mini fridge had an ice compartment so we were able to put ice packs in it and exchange daily for ones we had in a cooler keeping our excess food cold. Provided with dishes, bowls and eating utensils for 4 and 1 paring knife. No stove but they provide a community kitchen where we were able to cook. Only bldg C and D are oceanfront with elevators and I believe those units are only some of the 1 & 2 bdrm units. Other units are in 2 story bldgs and have stairs for 2nd level. No hair dryers provided in the unit so bring your own or ask housekeeping for one.
Security guard he is lousy and rude. constantly on phone kicks people out the pool at 10 wont let us stay we pay money to use pool he is ripping us off!!! he closed pool due to “lightning” there was no lightning. he just compensating for other things I guess. why have him until 3 am I watched him leave at 3 am. why not all night? this resort can do better security than him
Nice condos. Great pool, easy walk to the beach. Sunrise over the Atlantic from the balcony is perfect.
Cleanliness is lacking. Showers mold especially on shower doors and tracks. Sand in corners of floors especially in bathrooms. Dishes in cabinets dirty. Need finish in dishwashers to help clean the dishes. Toilet paper and paper towels rolls are small. Need to leave extra. Only one extra roll was left in each bathroom and no extra paper towels were left.Linen exchange personel and service poor. Employees rude and not paying attention to the exchange. 5 bath/3hand/4 face/2 floor mats were exchanged to 3 bath/6 hand/2 face/0 floor. Therefore not enough towels for my family.
What an absolute mess. From the dirty towels to the hot AC. Not only that but had a bloke knocking on my door at 8:30 a.m. waking me up for no rhyme or reason.
Stay here for a week during our trip its a little dated but super accommodating right on the beach and the staff was incredible would definitely recommend
Positive: Location. Negative: Rooms need to be updated. We had to fix the sliding glass doors on the tub, as the doors would not move. Even though the hotel is beach front, it is quite a walk to the beach. Pools were great though.
Great value for the area. Older place but it is clean and in a great setting. Beach was beautiful and clean. The local residents were fun and nice.
Had a double queen room. Was disappointed to say the least. Room was overpriced and completely outdated. Room smelled of mildew and mold. Couldnt even breathe when sleeping. Saw a little roach in the bathroom. Shower door would barely open. Location was great. Pool area was great.
Very nice apartment with an incredible view and a balcony for enjoying it. Exactly what I want in a beach vacation spot.
Front desk staff very rude. 8 people in front of me checking in, all left with scowls on their faces and upset. Checked in at 3:45pm room wasnt ready until 5:30. As an owner of 30 years, didnt get the same room I pay for for the first time ever. Reservations manager never called me back after I left several messages. Staff just doesnt seem to care. Hopefully it will get better but.
Room dirty, had to be mopped, inventory off, housekeeping took care of problem next day, microwave did not work, had to be replaced, T V too small cannot read channels, no directions to watch T V it was set for games or streaming ?no activites planned, maintenance man very nice, Regina in housekeeping very apologetic and very nice, woman at check in very argumentative with me,I told her she should nice to owners and guests! Should be rugs on floor by beds, north gate would not open with code, grills need parts most to dirty to work ! Furniture in room old bubbled scratched, drawers not clean in side dead roaches in drawers, hand me down furniture from the C or D buildings years ago ! kids on electric scooters speeding up and down parking around buildings no security!!!!
Positive: room had everything we needed and was very clean. some beach hotels can have a musty smell but this one did not. Negative: i dont like carpet in rooms at the beach.
The place itself is good. Comfy rooms and installations. The front desk staff very nice and everything clean, but the housekeeping staff manages to be super loud when passing by even in the morning when youre trying to sleep. They dont even try to be quiet about it even when you have the do not disturb sign outside your room. Slamming doors and talking loud on the phone everyday.
Positive: Location Location Location Negative: Outdated rooms. Beds uncomfortable. Old heavy blankets.
Ive been a timeshare owner since 1986 but had never actually stayed at Ocean Landings. My place is farther south. I stayed here two times in December. The first was the front buildings and I upgraded for the ocean view the second time. Theres no reason not to read this below of 5 clean the furniture is really nice its emphasized even though the kitchen at through a bit restrictive I was prepared for the second time. Surprised to find full kitchen in the ocean view and it was just lovely. The staff is lovely I even took the timeshare tour I met some lovely people. I highly recommend staying at Ocean Landings if youre in Cocoa Beach oh, you wont be disappointed in my opinion.
We used to own two weeks in C408. Our children own it now. We loved it and so did they.🏊🏖️. They took us down for a couple of weeks. First time in 5 years. We enjoyed it so much. We were in D309 first week and D509 the second week 🌊
Pros: In a great location with just a short walk to the beach. Friendly staff! Pools were awesome. Easy to understand instructions from front desk. Cons: could update the place seems very 70’s ish…. Upon entering the room, we noticed it was very dirty with hair all over the bathroom as if sombody had cut their hair and even some on our “fresh clean pillows”. Air filters for the a/c were super clogged and dirty, carpets havent been cleaned for years, there was some type of a spill on our comforter and when we called for a new blanket we were told laundry was closed! Also they dont clean the rooms everyday its every two days and you have to fill out a “form” for that! All in all, not the worst but does need some attention and updating!
Debbie the phone rep was great. the front desk wasnt friendly though. great location and cleanliness.
Great deal for a great old place. You can’t beat the value you get at this ocean front tennis and racquet club. With two pools, tons of grills, a bunch of tennis courts, daily activities, and a poll snack bar that’s just awesome, this place is by far my fave in cocoa beach. Not to mention the giant two room suite we got cheaper than a regular hotel room anywhere else! Def check them out!
Loved it Beautiful Property, Friendly Staff. My Bestfriend and her 4 Grandchildren and I Had a Blast. The 1bedroom Suit was Huge and Gorgeous. We were Extremely Comfortable.
Amenities were excellent! The only negatives would be the cleanliness of the room and the furnishings. Sofa and chair needed a serious cleaning!
Weve been coming here since I was a kid and we love it as long as you get a room in the C or D buildings.
Was visiting family there, saw a rocket launche from the Beach, at the same time the moon was out .it made a perfect arch over the moon. And it was a Day launch. And had a great time at the resort while visiting.
Room was clean, clean towels, easy check in and check out, pool was clean, easy access to the beach and very quiet place.Room had a little kitchenette.Overall ok.We will definitely come back.
Wonderful time relaxing place is clean and quite beach wonderfully kept
A nice location, but our 2 bedroom red week out traded for one of the small hotel room units. We had to pay almost $800 to upgrade to oceanfront. The oceanfront condo was nice, but we felt we should have gotten this in our trade. The staff was very nice and friendly, but some of the owners were jerks.
Nice homey motel with beach access. I enjoyed staying there and would recommend 😊
Room is nice. Worth the money for 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms and a small kitchen. Ive stayed here 2 times and I love it
Very nice come here every year always have a good time
Cocoa Beach is a very iconic area; this timeshare has a great view if you are able to get one of two buildings that face the Beach area. The rest of the complex is very old & very dated! Like stepping back into the 70’s!! The many tennis courts have been abandoned; the two pool areas are old & in need of Reno! The snack stand is very dated & didn’t want to take a chance ordering from it. The elevators are definitely dated & dirty. The building we stayed in was one of the ones that faced the ocean. We slepted in chairs on the balcony to enjoy the ambiance, & because the bedroom smelled old! The kitchen/ family room area were ok, nothing spectacular. Definitely not work the money, but it was packed because it was Easter Weekend & everything in the area was booked. It is close to attractions & places to dine. This place needs to have a make over!!!
The last time I had dealings with this resort I had asked them to help me and my ailing, widowed father to transfer this property property from his name to my name, To avoid probate when the inevitable happens, and they gave me a convoluted way of doing it that included going to the town or city hall to file paperwork, and if I lived in Cocoa Beach It would not be an issue, but I live in Connecticut my father lives in Massachusetts. So as we sit right now This property is still in his and my deceased mothers name. All his other timeshares did all the work, and all we did was have a traveling notary notarize the bundle of paperwork they sent us.This timeshare is the only holdout.
Rooms, and TVs are outdated. Very small TV, and very old furnishings. Pool closed at 10pm on a Saturday night. Mind as well be a retirement community. Nothing like a Hilton, Marriott, or other 3-5 star resort. $305.76 for 1 night, and this was a discount for a 2 bedroom suite for wedding. Also, very complicated system for pool towels. You get a tag, you have to go to a laundry room, get towels, then you can exchange only once a day between 8am- 6pm. When you check out, you have to bring back to laundry room. Not even higher rated resorts make things this complicated. Also, when checking in, my wife couldnt be with me. They said only 1 person per party in lobby at a time. I understand covid precautions, but there are reasons couples need to be together while checking in. Save yourself some cash, and stay at a much much better resort. THIS PLACE SUCKS!!
The place isnt new but its clean and all you need it available. The beach is just a short walk and everyone is super nice
Older place. But well kept, friendly emñloyees.
Ive been an owner since 1996 and have not visited in 8 years until this month. I was pleased to see that it continues to be as well maintained as always. It was just as I remembered with several upgrades. Blanch and her staff do a great job!
Horrible experience! We booked in advance for my mothers birthday through her timeshare (Platinum VIP member)back in Jan 2021 for a week to go April 10th 2021 through the 17th. Check in was at 5pm and after 4 hours of driving up from Miami our room was not ready. We came to find multiple people still waiting for a room since 1PM. We overheard a lady asking should she come back tomorrow? No direct answers were given at front counter. Totally UNACCEPTABLE!! We were told house keeping is slow and understaffed. No time frame at all was given to anyone! At least if we were told wait 1 or even 3 hours but NOTHING. We were offered a drink which we did not accept while we waited in our cars while it rained until almost 9pm. There was a wedding taking place in which I hate to assume but Im sure the place got overbooked and we had no room. With no where to stay for my moms birthday we had to make a decision to keep waiting for an answer from front desk manager or the assistant manager that to this day hasnt even returned my phone call or apologized for this horrible experience. My parents are platinum members for years and something like this has never happened! My moms custom cake started melting her balloons started deflating, we were starving so we decided after about 4 hours of waiting to go back home. How can we not have any answers about our room at 9pm? Our family was so distraught and furious. We decided to leave to make it back home by around midnight. A day of 8 to 10 hours driving both cars for NOTHING! A total disappointment and my moms birthday week completely ruined. Do not stay here! Very inadequate service and irresponsible management.
Very convenient access to the beach. Cute furniture even if dated. Very clean.
I have stayed in the Caribbean and Dream buildings for several years now at Christmas. Those buildings have great views of the ocean. I love watching the sunrise there. I will continue to book vacations there when it’s available. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Thank you Cartwright for making our vacation great!
I cant wait to buy a room there its a great place at great prices
The website messed up and booked my room for the wrong date and they wouldnt change it for the right one either.... very rude and inconsiderate....
Amazing customer service the girls in the tiki bar!! I will definitely come back here!!! Those 2 should be in the lobby not that Leidy or Lady girl!
Great location and the grounds are well kept. The pools are awesome and the suites are roomy and great!
Relaxing, nice place to stay . Two swimming pools, hot tub and right on the ocean . Its a short distance in either direction for good food or stay at the resort and Eat at Gregoires Steak House, always a good choice .
Way overpriced and staff are very rude.
Family fun🤗 AWESOME Vacation. Kim was too much fun by the pool hospitality. Thanks for the memories
Great location, nice room, but the floor in 218 AA building is constantly wet. I mopped it up & shortly after it was wet again. Im not so happy to get wet feet every time I get out of bed.
I had my wedding at Ocean Landings resort and my husband and I are beyond pleased with the service we were provided, except at the front desk which is the reason for the 4-stars. The front desk was unimaginably rude for no reason but other than that- Christine Shenkman- THANK YOU for ALL your help with orchestrating our event!
Part of staff not wearing masks, most of the guests also without masks. The website should include a map of property like the one presented at check in and allow possible guests a better view of what they can rent. Only buildings C and D are oceanfront/oceanview.
If I could leave no stars, I would. Myself and my 9 year old sons whole football team picked this hotel for our weekend game. We stayed for two nights. The security guard tried to kick the whole football team out at 1am. While we begged and pleaded because we had four kids in tow ( one who is autistic and had just went to sleep ) We were told to leave. Finally a manager came down and told us we would stay, however other people were getting kicked out. It was a mess and it was finally over at 3 am. We were told by security that we needed to be out by morning. He was rude, nasty and very unprofessional. He also tried to sell (drugs) to other people staying at the hotel. I left a complaint when we checked out. I was told I would be contacted that day, I never was. I called back on Tuesday and spoke to the GM ( female ). I have NEVER been treated so badly before. She basically said I already know what you are going to say, what do you want me to do about it? I explained a few other issues we had an told her our stay was horrible, her response was sounds like it. I asked to speak to someone else and she refused to let me. I wanted a resolution. I wanted to know that no one else would have to go through what we went through. I spent $454.00 on two night for my son and daughter to enjoy their Cheer and Football team weekend and it was hell. Hell with no resolution. I could go on and on about the horrors of the hotel, but it wont make any difference. I will be seeking higher power.
The no see emms??? Bit us . Other than that was great.
Have owned an ocean front unit here for over 35 years. However in recent years the staff has in my opinion left a lot to be desired. This year at check in we were told our unit wasnt ready, the desk took my information and said they would call when ready, no problem. Couple hours later still no call from the desk so I walked to the unit to see if housekeeping was still working that late when I encountered my wife who had the keys. No idea how long the unit had been ready but I was too tired to go back to the office.Once in the unit I noticed leftover cleaning cloths, etc so I started cleaning. Upon trying to open the vertical blinds they wouldnt move. The track was loose so no way would it work. Last year it was a broken fold out sofa, the year before that the sliding door would not budge.Every few years the units get remodeled with new furniture, funny thing is the unit still has the tiny flat screen TV. Everyone wants to park as close to the buildings as possible, myself I park further away to take advantage of shade under the tennis courts. There is space for max of 48 spots, but a good number have now been reserved for staff use.About those keys, they still have the unit number stamped on them so if dropped/found on the beach anyone can get into your unit. Over the years our kids have probably lost 10 or 15 keys,... that is only one week each year,So that was this years experience,
Very misleading photos. Expensive desposit. Late check in early check out times. No late check out options.First and last stay.
My family & I visited Florida due to the death of a dear friend. On the day we where scheduled to leave our flights where canceled due to bad weather. The oceans landing day supervisor rushed us out of our room & put an unauthorized extra charge to our credit card . The manager in charge said he could not reverse the charges. We where stranded in Florida for the next 48 hours.
Awesome Resort. Everything is updated from Tennis to Pickleball, 2 pools, snack shack, racketball, and much, much more.
10 acres on the ocean very reasonably priced Beach pool s etc. Have all the amenities enjoyed our stay will come back often
Positive: Very spacious Negative: Lack of parking and also no room with an ocean view we got .. so disappointed. After trying to surprise my military fiancé . On memorial Weeknd .. never staying again .
It was an apartment on the beach with an Oceanview. Room had separate living room and bedroom. 2 bathrooms. Clean. Kitchen with stove top. 10/10!
Resort is older but very clean and very well maintained. Pools were really nice and there were fun daily activities. Located on great beach and close to lots of restaurants. Would definitely visit again but would stay in oceanfront room/condo if possible.
Great place had a party here and everyone loved it would definitely recommend
Very nice place to stay.
From the check in staff to the maids this friendly Resort makes you feel like you you are welcome with their exceptional service. The staff is always smiling and go out of their way to make your stay a memorable one. Ocean Landings is unique as it has many different units at different costs which makes it affordable and comfortable to all. Couples, families and friends all share in the enjoyment of the hotels amenities and of course the beach access with its fantastic location on the beach. Theres so much to do in Cocoa Beach and the staff is priceless with its recommendations. This is truly a place where the best thing about memories in making them.
Ita been very nice, very peaceful its was clean when we arrived. The pools are really nice, and warm! Lol
We arrived very late. They still took our discount through bookings.com. save over $150. This place is quiet and so much to do.Home cooked meals at Mom n Pops on the property. Heated pool and hot tub. Comfy beds and pillows. Only met nice folks here. Happy New Year! Highly recommend this place.
Always a great time. Right on the beach. Love the heated pool and the hot tub. Gas grills underneath pavilion available.
Terribly outdated and poorly maintained!!! Pool towels were a joke! Rooms were musty and dirty! Laundry room was tiny and dirty! Dont waste your money here!!
Great place to relax great place to just unwind really nice location recommend to everybody
Great location and fantastic view of ocean. Lacking in cleanliness, it appears the effort on putting remotes in plastic baggies could have been better suited for cleaning the bathrooms and kitchen.
Great oceanfront views! I loved cooking in the kitchen & looking directly out to the soft white sand! The property seemed to allow outsiders to park & take up all of the spaces closest to the beach during the day. We saw it happen almost everyday. Tips: wear shoes to the beach as the sand gets red hot in the Florida sun. And, there is a convenient rental shack that offers chairs, umbrellas, beach wheelchairs & more. Overall, i would be happy to stay again!
Best place ever.. very clean and friendly
Needs an upgrade- rooms are outdated but other than that it was cool & comfortable!
Bldgs C and D are best. They are right on the beach and the view is unparalleled. There are rentals to make the beach experience perfect. While there, 2 weddings were held. Several banquet rooms are available, as well. There are a variety of activities offered to allow you to make your own keepsakes.
The rooms are a bit dated but clean. Great location, close to the beach, nice pool area with concessions and bar. Theres an on site restaurant with a limited menu. Most staff were friendly, the few who werent friendly werent rude. Its definitely not fancy, but if youre spending most of your time at the beach, pool, or sightseeing its a great deal. Well definitely be returning.
Very old rooms not worth the price to stay there it more of a motel then a resort the nerve of them to call that dump a resort is upsetting
My sister-in-law got married here last weekend and the staff for wedding and food was great. The only complaint is the inconsistent rules. When we checked in there was no limit to how many people from a party could go into the lobby. The check in associate was friendly. However when we were checking out the rule changed and the approach of informing us of the change was rudely yelled across the lobby to my husband and I. I think it could have been handled better then yelling at us.
We had a very nice stay and I am sure when it is fully operational it is a lovely place to vacation
Nice place they have a great pool area and also a nice beach.
Been going here since i was a kid and now i take my family, i love this place.
