I love these just got them done, I am so happy about them I sat there. And She was so nice and was proud of the nails. She did so good I would rate this a 10/10 if I would on here but overall good place to get them done at I recommend this place. Have a good day.

I recently received a horrible set of nails and was looking for a place to fix them and make them beautiful like theyre supposed to look not like a child did them (thats how they looked before walking into this awesome place). I saw what great reviews this place has gotten so I made an appointment. Michael was the gentleman who did my nails and he did a phenomenal job of not only fixing another persons horrible work but making my nails look exactly how I wanted. Absolutely beautiful job! Found my permanent nail salon and tech! Highly recommend! Thank you Michael for doing such an amazing job!

They have a serious problem with punctuality and not honoring customers appointment times. I see that I am not the only one that experienced this problem. This isnt the first time that I had these experiences, but it will be my last. I am, or used to be a regular customer. I book each of my appointments two weeks in advance, when their calendar is clear (visually verified cleared schedule). When I show up for my appointments, the owner forces my nail technician to take a walk-ins right at my scheduled time or shortly before, knowing that she has an appointment with a customer soon. What I am told, is that this happens to others too. The other experience I had was when I overheard a nail tech say whos helping this b!tch, at which she motioned at me. She didnt even apologize for that. Any customer should not have to experience situations like this, especially being called a name that was not given to at birth. I was scheduled for a lash session today (booked two weeks ago), the owner penciled in a last minute customer for a long, private wax session, which ran past my appointment time. After waiting over an hour, they tried to reschedule me later this evening, and did the exact same thing at the evening appointment. Whats the point of scheduling an appointment, if youre not going to honor it? Im sure these nail techs dont like to wait a very long time at their doctor appointments either. They keep this up, they will lose more customers. They dont know how to run a business. Theyre more concerned about making a quick buck, than upholding their customer service satisfactory.

Usually really great with reasonable prices but whats the point of making appointments when they are never honored?The last time I got my nails done they were 110 with tip, when I usually pay 50-60 for my nails. They didnt warn me about any extra costs and I dont feel that my nails were worth 110$. It is pretty ridiculous.I love this place but lately its been mediocre.

I really loved how my nails turned out, just moved here and was looking for a great salon, and I will continue to go here. Great quality of acrylics. The only downfall was the wait but it didn’t bother me, was worth the wait.

Came in a day ago, was told to come back in an hour. I came back in an hour and was told they they could not help me because they were short staffed. I made an appointment the next day at 6. I arrived at 5:50 and waited an hour and a half and still didn’t get helped. Not happy at all...

I can take a pic of nails I want and they will do there best to make it look like the pic so I ain’t complaining but the do get expensive so make sure to track the money u got to pay

Love getting my nails done here, tried their eyelash extensions for the first time in a while and was super disappointed ! Paid 140$ for more than half of them to fall off the next morning. Would NOT recommend.

The staff is always friendly! Each time Ive gotten my nails done, theyve always done a wonderful job. I have also had my eyebrows waxed here, and the lady took her time and made sure my eyebrows were on fleek!! This is the only place I go to get my nails done. 😁😁

My wife waited 30 minutes after her appointment time to get her pedicure. After they completed that, she had to wait an additional 30 minutes before they ever started her manicure. Waste of time.

I came in on Father’s Day and called to make an appointment for two pedicures. I called @3pm & asked if they had any availability, I was told 4pm. When we went in @4pm they were still pretty busy so I asked if there was a better time to come back (we really didn’t mind at all coming back we just felt bad since they closed @5pm). Came in @4:30 instead and they were ready for us. There were so many color options, & the salon was very clean. Had separators between each chair and even between me and the nail tech (also wore masks) they were very friendly, and did not rush at all!! Outstanding quality for sure! I got the Deluxe $45 & my grandmother got the VIP $55 and last minute gel manicure also +$30. We left there @6:30pm and were so grateful they were able to take care of us! I live in Lubbock but will definitely be returning back regularly, since both our nail techs did a phenomenal job!

Every time I go to VIP I am very happy with my nails!!

Ive had my dip nails from this place for just over a week and one already has a huge crack across it. Not as sturdy as most places I go to and it cost the same.

I feel like every time I go here, the service gets worse and worse. I have gone to a different person everytime. I guess thats my fault for trying to give others the benefit of the doubt. The first time was good, the second time the lady made my nails too thin, this last time the lady had poor customer service and didnt care how she treated my nails. She thinned them out even more, left them uneven with different lengths and didnt make sure to smooth out the nails and finish them properly. But she was quick to jump to another customer before checking if everything was ok. On top of all that she rushed me to pick my color. All in all, they just lost a customer due to poor customer service and quality.

I called at 1:26 pm and made an appointment for 2, they told me jus to walk in. When i arrived i walked in and there were multiple people waiting and all the seating was taken up. i arrived around 1:50-1:55, i waited, waited, and waited more, before i knew it, i had been waiting for an hour. no one said anything to me, no one offered me anything, i just waited for a hour. then, i finally got up to leave because i was tired of waiting and they didn’t say anything to me.

The women that my many/Pedi is fantastic! She is so precise and gentle! The best nails and toenails I have ever had! I will be coming back and bringing family and friends with me!!

Highly recommend these guys! I will 100% be going back. They were busy and still took their time on my nails, not to mention I was a walk in so they didnt have to make time but still did! Very friendly staff. Decent prices. Worth the money.

Zero stars! I had to tell the manicurist that did my nails that she had not painted the entire nail. She gave me a spill on how nails produce oils and thats why she didnt do it right; she fixed it. Five days later, my gel manicure started cracking and falling apart. I went to the salon and the manager tried to make it sound like I had my nails done two weeks ago, when I had only had them done for eight days and the gel cracked and chipped everywhere - five days after I had gotten my nails done. I explained that Ive been getting my gel manicures for two years and have never had this problem. He asked where, I responded Star Nails. He said, Go back to Star Nails. We dont guarantee that gel will last more than a week. I will go back to Star Nails, where they do it right the first time, where I dont have to tell the nail technician how to do nails, and where it lasts more than two weeks. Never again!

Definitely will be back! Very friendly and they know their business! On the spot with answering all the questions I asked! Open for a year now and I never knew they were here, glad I just decided to walk-in! I got the SNS dip on my nails and I love them! Very reasonable on price! Family coming the end of August first of September, definitely will be calling for some fun! 👍😎

Got a full set acrylics and it says $33 on the wall, but the man said because I got a “coffin shape” it is an extra $5 and he said only square acrylics are $33. Played me as stupid because I’ve never been there before but no nail place charges extra $5 because of a different shape and if they did it should be on the wall.

I feel that every nail salon may have their flaws, but regardless of all the negative feedback and opinions. I feel that I am always treated respectfully and always feel welcome into VIP Nails! I feel very confident in going back if something may have gone wrong with my nails. I know that they will always right their wrongs. Tan is very detail-oriented. He listen to my reasonable wants and meet them with no problem. The atmosphere is very relaxing and clean. Lastly, if is reasonably priced.

I went to get a fullsetIt wasnt busy or anythingI went to see what the hype was about because of the low prices that Ive heard about.He started filling very aggressive and ended up cutting me on the side of my finger and didnt bother to helpUpdate:This is the 2nd time Ive been under new management.1st experience was okay...waited an hour for a Full set that were good from the owner2nd visit I went with friends .We were the first customers of the day and were super dissatisfied. My nails look like they were done by two different people. (Bald man didnt catch his name) he didnt notice the glue and acrylic were glued to my nail until it dried and pushed his nails into my skin to separate which was painful, he had dried acrylic on my skin, he then kept filling til I had a cut and started bleeding he apologized and continued. One hand the acrylic is overly thick and will 100%lift within a few days due to it being over my skin.Very disappointed with the $45 spent here. Will never come back and take my business back to Star Nails

Had an appointment at 5, they forgot about it, had to wait over an hr to get my nails done. Then when I did get them done they cut my real nails way too short and uneven, but non the less they were very nice though.

This place is great! They make sure your nails are done right and they don’t rush to get you in and out so they can get to the next customer like some other places in town! I highly recommend this place!!

I absolutely LOVE going here. Tony & Violet are amazing. Ive never had a bad experience with either of them. Although I wont let the new guy touch my nails again. He didnt drill off the excess acrylic under one of my nails & I was short on time. I always get compliments on my nails & they last a REALLY long time.

I went for my first time and it was awesome. They were very busy, but still managed to get me and my daughter in quickly. The staff was friendly and the facility was clean. I will be back very soon!

I did and appointment at this salon for a re fill and a friend of mine did a full set gel to begin the place it’s nice clean and soothing staff are great and friendly my nail tech was Alan he did an amazing job with my nails I love how he exceed my expectations I love my nails to look thin and natural and he was great at it. I do not recommend VIP! Even if you make an appointment you will still wait an hour to an hour and a 1/2. Today we called in made an appointment for 7 and told us come back after 730 there were still 6 people sitting in front of us that still had to be seen because he takes walkins over Appointments.

The guy picks and chooses who he wants to really give the best service and post pictures to promote. If you dont get anything extravagant then youre not getting top service and no pictures are taken and youre rushed out.
