Quite frankly the worst customer service of all the gyms I’ve ever been to. The employees act like you are a burden to them from the moment you check in to the moment you spend money at their protein bar.In the other hand, the vibe of the other gym members are great.

Great Gym... Most people mind their own business which is a plus in my book. Only problems I see so far is they close way too early on the weekends otherwise it would be perfect! Also the Staff could be a little more friendly but it is what it is...

It’s good gym but the employees in front ignore the people that come in. They need to greet the people that come in instead of talking to each other all the time. I’ve said hi to them coming in a lot every time and they just look at me and continue talking to each other. It’s bad for business when the members feel ignored.

I would have given the place 4 stars a week ago, but over the weekend they got rid of all their spin class bikes except for a few they moved out into the main room. No notification or anything, just theyre gone, so I cant even look forward to their popular spin classes starting back up. If you like exercising in a huge warehouse with TVs and all, then I suppose it will work for you. Just dont imagine they care what you think.

Im new to town and looking for a gym. Used to be a 24 hr fitness; but none in town.Went to the location and was immediately turned off by staff. I went with another gym, due to staffs inattentive engagement of a potential member. Additionally tryingto make a club look. vs. a gym. Not my style, but maybe yours?

Good equipment its not newer equipment however. Wish they were open 24 hours. They close early at 11PM.

Been going to this gym for years now. My appreciation for them maintaining health guidelines and reopening is immense. As someone who goes here not only for physical but mental health as well I couldn’t recommend a better gym in Clovis.

They have everything you need to workout, great cable machines too, freewieghts are legit! Good parking, reasonable hours

Box gyms are a cancer but its clean and decent. Not against bodybuilding like others. Staff is not friendly but thats ok. Home for now until I move. I also have la fitness and its actually worse by a long margin.

I really appreciate that the gym has been back open for a while now, this location has an excellent variety of machines and free weights and cardio machines etc.

Clearly stated rules and signage, but nothing is enforced. Mask rule is treated like a suggestion. Staff eating at the front, instead of eating in their designated break area. 50% of gym goers either don’t wear masks or don’t wear them properly. And the clean your machine after use is also never done by others. Super unsafe, also people taking photos in the locker room without masks on, don’t come here if you wanna stay covid free.

Cant wait to get back to working out again..

Staff is doing an excellent job keeping the gym clean and enforcing members to wear masks and asking those members to leave who cannot seem to feel like they need to wear mask for the safety of all. Thank You GB3 staff!!

The staff are amazing. There is a lot of space here and I can appreciate the added features of day care and the juice bar.My only complaint, they need more rowing machines. This exercise has been rated as a top one yet GB only has 4 in the entire place. He must have 500 treadmills and ellipticals but only 4 rowing machines. I have never been there when there is an empty rower for less than 10 minutes. In contrast there always a dozen or so empty treadmill and ellipticals.The staff is amazing, friendly and always greet you with a smile as they anticipate your gym number.

GB3 really is a great gym! The staff are friendly, they have great equipment and classes, and the membership price is perfect. There is no other gym that I would recommend, especially after how various other gyms handled the shutdown. I heard awful stories from friends and online how other gyms werent very professional or accommodating during the shutdown, making it difficult or even impossible for members to freeze or cancel their memberships in times of financial hardship. GB3, however, took it upon themselves to stop withdrawing all membership dues and now that they are open, have given sufficient notification as to when they will begin requiring dues again.Highly rated because I highly recommend!

Hands down the most convenient, clean, and professional exercise facility in the valley!

Very good gym sauna no open

Didnt even try to stay open during the shutdown like the other gyms. Instead after all these years of taking everyones money, having more equipment and locations then any other chain in town they still never opened an outdoor setup. Never will they get my familys membership again.

Great gym, with multiple locations. No so many people there right now due to Covid. Herd immunity is the cure!

Reopening has been seamless. Still a great work Out experience. 😅

Most of the digital read-outs on treadmills are broken, especially heart meters.

Clovis location pool is the coldest of all locationsI live 5 minutes away but have to drive across town to find a location that has a heated pool. Hey George heated means you actually have to turn on the heat. I am fairly certain you can afford it...Can I have a refund for not being able to use all locations? Isn’t that false advertising?How about a prorated membership? How about you turn the heat on!!!!!!

I still think the New gym is better but GB3 is the best gym in town period.

Great gym! And friendly staff ! Closed due to covid19,and now reopened I would say 99% wipe the equipment down. I think it is very safe during these times, all people wear masks,cleaned and social distancing is done. Thanks GB3 for helping our health and well-being for all of us !.

Good gym but busy after work hours. Less busy in the morning when it opens but still some times difficult to get in a full workout in the hour I have to spare. The pool usually gets filled with people bringing their kids in the evening and I can only imagine that will get worse as we get further into summer. Besides that though it’s a great gym.

Its nice to have a well-maintained clean gym in the area. I really enjoyed my work out here, We started off with the spin class which was really cool because there was beginners and novices everyone really went at their own pace and got the workout they need to. I enjoy the large layout, theres an open floor plan with plenty of ventilation and cool air. Theres always a lot of people here its always busy so definitely plan ahead. Definitely didnt feel like anyone was judging everyone was pretty much to themselves or with their group of friends and to their own workouts and their own progress. I like the large cardio area they were equipped with plenty of machines. The sauna and steam rooms were a plus! Plenty of room and always clean. Everything flows really nicely at this gym easy to get around, the juice bar is a huge plus! And they have a great day care that my friend takes advantage of so thats always nice. Everyone was really friendly for the most part and I enjoyed my workout. You do pay more for this gym compared to the other more affordable ones, thats because this is a health club with plenty of amenities clean machines and an overall great experience!

Been here in the past and its to small for the amount of people there.. George brown is a greedy man.

I got infected with ringworm twice in 2019 which makes me hesitant to want to workout at the gym. I’m not sure what machines I contracted it from but be careful as nobody wipes down the machines after they use them. I love this gym but I’m scared to workout because of how easily I contract the ringworm fungus.

The best gym out there

Great gym. Even during the busy times they usually have enough equipment to go around. They seem to be the only gym that doesnt try to scam you into contracts like some other shady gyms near me have tried. Day care center for $2 a day is great too!

Can be cleaner. Especially the locker rooms and pool areas.Otherwise a great place for quick (or detailed) work outs. Plenty of machines all your body parts and various muscle groups. Although some machines need can replacement or can be updated with service and tune ups; especially the old rusty mechanical ones. All lockers need updating and refurbishing.Parking is ample. And the staff is ok, too. Some smile some dont. Some generally have mostly blank looks.

Nice clean friendly

I have been a member here for at least 10 years...I lost count. Pros-location, price, usually plenty of equipment, showers are hot, and the child care is fine. Cons- staff is not particularly friendly, they dont seem like they get trained properly, the place needs some remodeling-especially the bathrooms, the entire place is a little too dirty for me. (Maybe Im a clean freak...I dunno.) Im fairly positive that the cleaning staff gets no training too. You cant just tell someone to clean it, you have to show them specifically HOW and WHERE to clean. The floors and equipment can be a little crusty by my standards. At the same time, I will be going back. I do get my workouts in just fine without any problems. So, perhaps my standards are too high. George Brown, I still love your gyms :-)

Gb3 is probably the best gym membership available in the Fresno / Clovis area. Newer facilities & equipment, heated indoor pools, free aerobics classes, child care facilities and very reasonable prices.

Spacious gym with many locations throughout Fresno that are all accessible with a membership. May get a little crowded at times of youre looking for free weights, but you can always go to another location if its too much.

While they do have good selection of workout machines, I feel that that leaves little space for floor exercises. I walked around 3 times before I was able to find a little spot on the ground to do some planks. And also, it would be nice if they had a better setup for cleaning the workout equipment after other people use them. To my knowledge, there is someone that walks around every hour or so to clean the equipment. It makes me wonder how many people use the workout equipment in an hour, before the attendants come clean them. I came from another gym that had spray bottles of disinfectant and rags available everywhere to wipe down the equipment, so I guess thats what Im used to. I feel for the people who work out there and have sensitive skin, I am one of them.

I love this gym Im able to get a workout. Im in and out just the peak hours when its really busy and hard to get the workout you need and machines are taken...other than that its a great gym

Great gym, everything is in good condition. It can get a bit busy at times, both am and pm. Staff is good except the ladies in front, more often than not they come off as antisocial and condescending. The rest are great though and very helpful. As good as the place is, I do wish it was 24hr.

Good workers

Ive been to several gyms and this particular location seems to be the best at keeping their equipment and facilities clean. Its crowded at the usual ours but overall this is a good gym.

This isnt a very great convenient location. It is a pretty big gymnasium. They have their locker rooms, great located restrooms, as well as water fountains. They also have a room designated for the classes, spin classes as well, and a smaller room for punching bags and a padded area with a water fountain and restroom in that small room. Everything just Flos correctly and it is very comfortable being there. They are continuously cleaning and thats always a good thing.

Very nice. I usually frequent the one on Palm and I find this site to be similar in quality. Yes it is a bit smaller but I also found it less crowded.

Has a WIDE variety of equipment for nearly every part of your body, as well as a pool, spa, steam room, sauna, locker room/showers, a biking room, yoga room, nearly an entire restaurant that offers protein shakes/snacks, a daycare center to drop off your kid while you work out, and a boxing room with many different stations. Definitely worth the $60 a month!

My favorite GB3! I been going here constantly for the last 2 years and live this place. The staff is super helpful, friendly, and energetic. The gym is clean, and you will always find a staff member cleaning throughout the day. The sauna and pool are always open and ready to use, even at 5am!

Great location for me with good equipment! But if you want to stand around waiting for a machine more than you want to work out, you may want to go to a less busy spot. People here love to look at themselves in the mirror and flirt!

Early mornings are best if you dont like a crowded workout, all machines are usually available. Front desk girl friendly and very helpful. Ive been overall satisfied with this Gb3.

After 6 back surgeries I found some relief in the pool. All the staff are very nice and helpful. I really enjoy going to GB3 Clovis

Great gym, a little packed in the evening.

Ive been a member for about 5 years now. It gets busy around 4pm-8pm. Best times to go are probably early mornings 12-2pm and after 9pm, fridays and weekends are usually pretty slow.

Great place to work out and relieve stess. They have an assortment of different workout machines and cardio equipment.Their classes are top notch and there is something for everyone.I especially enjoy the water aerobics class.They are open 7 days a week and if you have children, you can bring them on Saturdays and Sundays (family days) to swim in the pool !Out of all the gyms in Clovis and Fresno I always recommend GB3.

Gym has great equipment and is spacious, but its merits are overwhelmed by the in-your-face Fox News on 1/3 of the TVs there. Multiple requests to offer other options or a member-approach to choosing televised content are ignored. The manager, Adrian, does not return phone calls or respond to member questions. I use this gym sometimes because of the location, but I would encourage any GB3 members to consider using another one of their locations due to how little interest this location takes in its members and their insistence on having violence, politics, and controversy be a part of your work out.

Friendly staff and great environment. Been going for about 4 years. Had a bad experience at the Northh location first time going and never had a bad experience here.

Has everything you need to get in shape, however the overall cleanliness is terrible. There are weight plates every where, mismatches plates on the racks, clutter, etc. Add that to the numbers of people working out/socializing/talking on their phones while on equipment, and it makes for a not so great experience. Definitely not what I expected given the outrageous registration fees. At the end of the day, the gym is sufficient to meet your goals, and thats really the main purpose of the gym.

A little crowded most of the time, but there is enough equipment for the demand. You may need to wait a period of time for certain machines. Clean, despite other reviews I have never had any issues with cleanliness of staff, just other gym goers, which is expected... Just frowned upon.

If u cant get your swole on here, you cant anywhere. best location of all GB3s, the energy and athletes are so motivated and get thier grind on hard core....and cheap.

I have been going to this gym for years. I love it. I love that there are multiple locations and its a fun environment. Its kept clean and has a lot to do.

Nice but most days are really packed

I’ve been coming to the gym for awhile now. Nice environment but it can get very busy at times to where all machines are being used. I like how they replace old worn out pads on the machines with brand new ones. The staff is friendly but I’ve had an issue with one particular employee who works at the front desk awhile back, sometime last year, I don’t remember the specific date. Usually when I walk in the gym I scan my card and it gets read on the other end, but on around 4 occasions I would scan my card and this one specific employee would ask to see my card for herself with my name and number on it and she would write my number down. At first I was like ok it’s fine maybe the system is down but then this same employee continued to ask my to see my card after I had scanned it 3 more times on different occasions. After the second time she asked me that again I’m like ok I’ll go to another employee and see if they do the same thing, and they didn’t, I just scanned my card and that was it they didn’t ask to see it or my name or my member number. Then again, one last time I went to the side that she was sitting on on purpose, I scanned my card and she asked to see my card again after I scanned it. What really bothered me was that I didn’t see her asking other people what she was asking me, I’ve never seen her asking another person to show her their card after they scanned it, they just scanned it and went right on without any question. I don’t know why she continued to ask to see my card if there clearly wasn’t an issue when I had scanned my card with different employees. I don’t know why I was being specifically targeted by her as well. I don’t know her name, only that she has short-shoulder length black hair. I also notice that she has this rude energy/attitude whenever she sees me walk through the doors, she gives me dirty looks, i don’t know why or if she has a problem with me, I never interacted with her other than scanning my card and checking in at the front desk, I don’t even know her name? I now avoid her anytime I see her working, if she is then I usually go to the other employee on the opposite side of the desk to scan my card, and guess what there is never an issue with scanning my card with any of the other employees!! Other than her, all of the other employees are nice, greet members as they walk in, and have a positive attitude. If it was up to me I would go to another location, but I continue to go here only because it is convenient and 5 minutes from my house. I know I should’ve wrote this review sooner, but I just get reminded about the whole situation every time I see her working and it bothers me.

Has everything a gyms supposed to have. Just make sure you dont come around 10am or 3-5pm (too many people come at those times)

Ive been going to gym for over 3.5 years now, the layout is perfect but i swear to god they are Nazis with the air conditioner, not sure if its inadequate HVAC system or George brown cant afford the A/C bill. but its ridiculously HOT. also the juice bar couldnt be managed any worse. they are ALWAYS missing supplies, they either have no cups, no lids, no straws, or missing half the ingredient to make the dam protein drink. If anyone that works for GB# actually reads this, i would hope they resolve these issues in the future. if it wasnt for these issues i would give this place 5 stars.

Plenty of machines and space. Yet to be 2 crowded. Staff is friendly. Looking forward to getting in shape, and a better future, thanks to GB3.Very clean.

I am a 62 year old man who has been working out all my life. This is the one of the best gyms in my experience period. There are lots of windows and lots of light which is wonderful. Ive worked out in dark, artificially lite gyms pits and this is not that gym. Friendly staff and no roid ragers either and everyone is polite

I love this gym but I had to quit because $40 a month was too expensive for me. Cancelling my membership was fairly easy, I didnt have any big problems on it. I loved the bicycle class so much. Some of the bicycle instructors are very pumping and some are plain boring, you will notice when you go to the class and some classes are filled or not filled. This place is very clean also. Very clean bathrooms! Nice environment too!

Anyway, anytime! GB3 is the best in the valley!

Although I have really enjoyed going to Gb3 Clovis, for the last two years, I was very disappointed in them today. I arrived at the 8:00 dance fitness class with instructor Tiffany, only to be told they cancelled it. Why? Because the high fitness class that follows complained that some people were crashing the dance fitness class to save spots. This is actually true and very annoying to those of us already in the class. But instead of taking care of the problem with the offending persons or class, they canceled ours. This is completely outrageous since the dance class was not the offender. Move the high fitness class or cancel it instead. I get up very early just to attend Tiffany’s class. I am not the only unhappy person . I actually no longer attend classes at Sunnyside due to the management bowing to a few who like to complain.This whole thing is not right. 😡

Large size gym with lots of machines. The air conditioning at this gym works very well which is a much needed function when working out. Thanks GB3

Good gym newer locations have a few cooler newer cable machines i like to utilize but this site is still good.

I go to gb3 almost everyday at noon and I have to take a shower there. I dont think they clean the showers stalls daily because theres always water bugs on the walls and hair from previous users. Ive tried a different stall and still dirty and smelly. Ive mentioned it to the supervisor and they cleaned it but couple days later again really dirty. I dont think this is ok because we pay lots of money to be a member and if they cant keep it clean what does this say about the owner George?? George, check your facilities please make sure they are clean. Thanks...
