I’m from Idaho and was in Utah over the weekend. I came in on a Sunday at 3 PM with a rear differential wheel bearing that completely exploded and was too unsafe to drive. These absolute gems of human beings stayed two and a half hours after close on a Sunday trying to fix my car so I could be back in Idaho for work on Monday. In the end, the wrong part got sent from O’reilly auto parts so there was nothing to be done. They offered to drive me to a hotel and stayed at the shop and waited for me make accommodations to stay in Utah for the evening. The next day, they got the right part and fixed my car first thing so I could get back to Idaho safe and sound.They were fair in their pricing and completely professional and personable throughout the entire experience. Whatever these guys are getting paid, it’s not enough

As a young woman who doesnt know much about cars, I typically am a little nervous going to a shop by myself. But theyre so nice here, and they always open the door for you and make sure youre taken care of. They are gentlemen!!! Zach was who I had spoken with this time - I called to make sure they had time to do emissions for me, and after he assured me they did, I arrived and they were so welcoming to me. I highly recommend this shop- it makes taking my car to the shop feel less like a hassle :D

I went to Jiffy Lube to have my cars emissions checked and be registered. The shop was busy, but they got with me quickly. I was very pleased that they didnt try to upsale me for things on my car. They were professional through and through.

Please contact your location management team and find a way to fix the access to this location before someone gets killed. I suggest tying into the parking lot to the south.

I had my Emission checked, passed with flying colors!! It was made very simple to register my vehicle & recieve my new tags!! Easy peasy!! The workers were very pleasant!

The technicians were very professional and courteous. I will be using their services again. The only suggestion I have is provide more seating for waiting customers. There are only 4 chairs available. Overall they were fast and efficient.

I was extremely disappointed in the service that I received at this Jiffy Lube location. I was one of the first customers there and all I wanted was an oil change and from previous experiences at other Jiffy lube locations I was expecting it to take 15-30 minutes. It ended up taking an hour for them to come and grab me and try and sell me on other things that needed to be done and then the guy tells me we will get started on the oil change now. What the hell were they doing for an hour before they started the oil change. Then it took them another 30 minutes.I go to these places to save time instead of doing it myself but I could have done the oil change in half the time. I will never go back to this location and would recommend that you go somewhere else.

Your guys were so helpful and amazing. My wait was worth it. This place made me a loyal customer and i will only be coming to this location from now on :)

They are a joke this is the second time in the last 8 months that I have had them tell me quote we have some bad news sir when we started to remove the oil plug the threads started coming Out with the oil plug I think all of you need to go to oil plug removal school What a joke Ill never go back! I had a very positive experience at this location with a transmission flush. Zach, in particular, was very professional and knowledgeable. The service was quick and it was priced very reasonably.

Attendants were available right away to help me. They offered options and were friendly. Prices seemed steep, and they werent really able to give me enough information to answer my questions about products so I could make a truly informed decision.

Went for a simple emissions and they spent more time trying to upsell than actually performing the check. Not to mention the employee took a smoke break after pulling my car into the bay and then got in my car to pull it out of the bay. Im not interested in my car smelling like smoke.

I went in for an oil change for my car. $72.99 They said I needed a transmission flush so I can continue driving my car. I okayed that and the two reverse lights that the screen said both were $10.99 and one headlight. $14.99 I told the guy that I didnt want to exceed $230. That was my max.I asked for a print out of the things that I needed so I can do them next time after talking with my husband.After waiting an hour in a hot lobby with the temp 81°My SUV was done. He shows me the screen and it says $620.62 way more than we agreed on. He got it down to $597.87 I told him that was too much and we agreed $230And thats what I will pay. He said I cant have my car back until I pay the full amount.I want my money back.

First off, I was surprised to find out it would cost me 100 dollars for a synthetic oil change. And they tried to sell me an additive for just an extra 30 dollars, so I didn’t do that. They told me it would take 10-15 minutes, and ended up taking more like 35 minutes (which isn’t the biggest deal if they would have done it right). Then the gentleman walked in while me and my wife were in the middle of an important phone call, and told me I needed to change my cabin air filter. (Which also was worrisome because I keep a handgun in the glovebox they must have opened to find that out.) and then when we could finally leave, and after he let me know they couldn’t change my filter because he didn’t check if they had any before he offered to change it, my total came to 106$ I would recommend you look elsewhere for a lube. I have a place I go to in salt lake that will do the same oil change for 40 dollars. But I live down here, so it wasn’t much of an option. AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF, the gentleman who did my lube didn’t tighten my oil drain plug all the way. So I left with an oil leak. 🤦🏻‍♂️ I would have taken it back to have then fix it, but I don’t know if that would be too much to handle, so I tightened it myself. For 106 dollar oil change, you would at least expect them to properly torque the drain bolt.

Disgusting bathroom, no AC in the lobby. Only four chairs and 9 people in the lobby. Was told it would take 30 minutes for my oil change and coolant flush . It’s been 90 minutes… I was the first one here, but the only one who knows how to flush the coolant left for lunch without telling me to come back another time. I’m never coming back here again.

These guys are absolutely amazing, after getting screwed over at the Roy jiffy lube, the Clinton store was so quick to take care of everything. These guys are professional, super nice and I will always come to this store.

Dropped my car off for an oil change, got a call 20 mins later telling me I needed a new battery and I wasn’t gonna be able to drive but they could jump start it for me, when I got there and asked them to test the battery for me they gave me a paper with the results. I had a warranty for 2 years on my battery and had it change last month so I went to get it checked. My battery is a full % and working great lol sad how they try to take advantage of people specially in a time like this. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

I work for a service company that uses a Fleet Company to pay for the work performed. There is always an issue getting approved for the work with the fleet company but these guys stayed until after 830pm when they normally close at 7pm to make sure i got approved for the work through my fleet company and made sure I was back on the road and my truck home that night so it didnt affect my families income!! Steve and his guys are the best!!! Go here if youre with a fleet company or any regular service they will make sure youre on the road in no time thanks again guys very professional!! I thought for sure I would be sitting home half a day waiting for it to get fixed!!

My car pass emissions and Im happy with that result. As a walk in without an appointment they were able to squeeze me in and I didnt have to wait too long.

I was so pleased with my experience at this location. The gentleman that helped me had amazing customer service and was very straight up with me about my vehicle. I felt well informed and comfortable, which is unusual for me when dealing with cars. Fantastic staff!!

My wife took the car there for an oil change, they started convincing her of doing this and that that we didnt really need, after their service the car was pulling to the right really bad. they moved the front tires to the rear, 2 weeks later the wheels are making noises. I had a mechanic friend to check what was that, he says my rear brake pads are completely gone, they didnt even mention that. I wonder if they even did the oil change. I never use these big chains because of their shady ways of doing business, now my wife learnt the lesson too. Get a real mechanic to take care of your car.

Just kind of a joke of a facility. Hard to get into the parking lot, then we were turned away for renewal because they closed in like 5 hours lol. Okay.Just go to Grease Monkey near by, they rock.

Drive up for oil change. Waited no one greeted me like the usual in Layton. Made eye contact with several employees and nothing sitting for almost an hour. The nerve when they passed me up and put the other cars that arrived after me in the garage/line up. I don’t recommend this mediocre place for any service period.

I wish I could give these people 0 stars. This is the worst experience at any Jiffy Lube or car experience I have ever had. When we got there, it took 10+ minutes for them to greet us. I should have known that it reflected on how the rest of the appointment would go. They gave me a time estimate of 25-30 mins. My husband and I went to the auto zone next door, and figured they’d be done by the time we were. When we got out, their “manager” said they were just starting on my car. 10 mins later they jacked it up. About an hour and a half into the appointment, one of the employees came in and told me all 5 lugs on my car were bad, even though only 1 was cross threaded and needed to be replaced. He then told me another of my lug nuts was cracked, and would need to be replaced. And my brake pads were low. Funny the dealership I took in to 3 days previously for an oil change and a tire rotation didn’t mention that. At the 2 hour mark, the employee’s buddy pulled up getting a trailer hitch installed on his truck. 10 mins later he was done, and all the employees went outside to stare at the truck while I was stuck inside, waiting for them to ring me up. We waited at least 20 mins after my car was done for them to acknowledge that we existed. Took them 5 times longer than what they said. Never returning, sketchy business, and lie their way through appointments to scam you out of more money. The person in the garage before us had to wait 2 hours for his oil change, and a lady after us had to walk into the garage to get their attention in order to start her appointment.

We were traveling through Utah on our way home to Arizona, and had some brake problems. We pulled in about 20 minutes before closing time on a Saturday. One of the gentleman there decided to stayed an hour and a half after hours to help us out. We got the parts and he fixed the issue. Good to see that there are still good people out there. Thank you.

They rotated my tires for free, cleaned my mirrors and took time to explain what they were doing and why to make sure I understood how things worked. They also suggested that I could go over to Autozone, which was in the same parking lot and buy the filters then they would put them in for free so that I didn’t need to pay for labor.

I have been to other Jiffy Lubes in the Salt Lake Valley over the years and havent been to impressed. We recently moved so I figured I would give the one close to my new house a try. I only went in to get my emissions done but had a few other questions about my car. They were super helpful in answering everything I needed to know and got my emissions done in record time. I have 2 other cars coming up that need emissions and oil changes and I will be taking them to this Jiffy Lube. Good job guys! 😊Update from 1st review:I took another car in yesterday for my emmissions test. I got the same great service as the first time. Chris is awesome! He even showed me how to check the cabin filter in my truck. He goes above and beyond everytime i am there. Give that guy a raise! 😁

Took care of all i needed and more! Im not very knowledgeable and was afraid of getting me and my Prius taken advantage of. Not only were they knowledge and more than answered my questions. ( they even provided demonstration.) When it was time to check out they found coupons and other discounts they could find! Final total came in lower than their initial quote!!!

Good: The technicians were courteous and easy to talk to, this is tge most important thing, so well done. I liked that I could stay in my car during COVID-19.Bad: (not including the wait time to pull into a work bay) the shop is terribly slow when it came to getting simple tasks done such as checking washer fluid level and air filter. That said the emissions check they were performing was also terribly slow and guys were wandering around “looking busy”. Second, it seemed that all tech’s relied on the “boss” to verify everything. So the shop could only move as fast as one guy. To be fair the guys seem inexperienced and needed correction on simple items.As a suggestion, I would try to streamline the small tasks that took 30min before the emissions check was started, or at least do them at the same time as the reading. Second, make sure you have at least one experienced person for each bay so that one guy isn’t doing all the work. Third note, get multiple obd2 readers so that if one is busy the other bay can still do theirs, a fellow customer had to wait for the reader in my car to finish before they could get theirs done.Bottom line, I will not be coming back because of the 45 min obd2 plug in check, but I enjoyed the kind attitude of the techs.

Very disappointed in shops inability to perform emissions on my vehicle. I waited for about 30 minutes for mechanic to have my vehicle fail test and yet never perform test. I drove off and went to another shop and got emissions completed in about 10 minutes

Got me right in. They were fast and professional. They offered other services but no high pressure which i really appreciate.

Had an issue with my brake sliding pin. The guys looked at it and bought a similar bolt and installed it, no cost. Additionally, he said hed install it once I got the part. I do do. No charge once again. You guys be doing things right, at least on that visit. Thanks again.

I got my breaks checked on two different cars and they were very honest with what needed to be replaced and what didnt. I really appreciated the honestly and them not trying to up sale me.

I visited this jiffy lube location on 6/23 for an oilchange, a fairly simple task. It was about a 2 hour wait due to peak service times, but I was able to get it done with no hassle.Now later that day I ended up finding a leak with my antifreeze and had to change out my water pump, a completely unrelated issue. However, during the process of taking things apart to get to the water pump (I drive a 99 Nissan frontier), I saw that not only was my oil filter never changed out, but the employees just topped off my oil tank. I checked the oil and it was still dirty, not the usual see through color it should be. This is unacceptable! I paid about $80 for a service that wasnt even done correctly. This is the result of the incompetence of the employees, lack of proper training, laziness, or a combination of all of those. Now Im out $80 for a job Im better off doing myself in the future. Definitely do not go to jiffy lube, especially this location, and go to a mechanic you trust or do it yourself. Save yourself the frustration.

Please don’t come here. They didn’t screw the oil cap all the way shut and all my oil spilled out and ruined my engine and crank shaft. I just bought the car and now it is completely dead. Please do not come here let this be a lesson. Bring you cars to anywhere other then jiffy lube.

Took a very long time just to get our car in even though we were second in line. The employees seemed to be helping those who came after us. The price was way more than anticipated and I thought they vacuumed the floors but we definitely didnt get anything extra aside from the oil change.Ill just stick to changing my own oil. Much cheaper and faster

I came here for emissions and the guy tried selling me all kinds of services. I felt pressured. I just wanted a quick emissions test, not pressure to get other things fixed. They told me my license plate lights were out and tried to sell me new ones. They were not out. They failed my emissions saying I needed a new part. I wonder if they were dishonest about that too. I won’t be back.

Great place for me. Had a coupon and no haggles on services. Clean place with open feel. Did not take very long. Advised me on things that might need attention in the near future. Nice touch on washing my windows. Friendly employees.

I went to get my car registered, everyone was so helpful, not only to be but to the other employees. Definitely impressed. From beginning to end all of the men were respectful and smiling. One guy even walked out to my car to open the door for me! Also as a bonus they were all cute and well groomed guys!!

If there were zero stars I would have chosen that. We took our car in for an oil change, long story short he convinced us to go to the other jiffy lube that has a coupon. The coupon expired Labor Day. It’s January. The other jiffy lube informed us they do that all the time because they don’t like to do their jobs apparently. The one we ended up going to also informed us they will tell people their emissions machine is down which is hilarious because in August they did that to us!! Don’t take your car here! Go to Roy. TRUST ME

I usually do oil change myself but decided to give this location a try and I would go back

The staff themselves are nice and helpful, my only issue is that they never take coupons or Groupon. I was told because its a different franchise. Then I was told the Jiffy Lube in Roy accepted them, so I would need to go there if I wanted to use my Groupon. I went to that one and the guy there said it wouldnt be a full day if he didnt have someone sent to them by the Clinton store. Its not the first time Ive tried to use a coupon there and was told it couldnt be used at their store.

Our previous visit to this location was horrible. The mechanics were yelling at each other and demeaning each other in front of all of us, and no one knew which car belonged to which paper work. My wife was given someone else’s car keys and almost charged a different price.This recent experience was a complete turn around. I was greeted professionally by Tristan. He explained everything perfect and was extremely nice. At each step of his process he informed me what they were doing and offered me upgrades.I’m defiantly coming back to this location for when I have to get my wife’s vehicle done. Great job Tristan.

Duuuuude! These kids almost fried my car! They moved my battery harness and never put it back into place, which caused it to shift and touch my battery terminals! My car was sparking while I was driving and turning off and on, plus they didn’t even close my hood.

So ridiculous. They told me it would be 30 min. There was only one person ahead of me. They told me they would come get me “in a few minutes” to go over pricing and stuff with me. After waiting over at hour, they finally come and tell me a price that was way higher than expected. By that time I had been there so long that it was too late to leave and go somewhere else. After going over pricing, they said 10 more minutes. It has been 20. I have officially been here for an hour and a half. Meanwhile they have employees standing around and washing the store windows...

I appreciate that they are open later! Not only that but the customer service is amazing! I was greeted immediately when I pulled in and had everything explained to me in terms I could understand so I could make the best decision for my car and wallet! I also appreciate the range of services that they offer! A true one stop shop!

Jiffy Lube is a predictable good experience. I am frugal and try to only go when I have a coupon to get an oil change for $25. Of course, you will pay tax too and can expect even the basic change with a coupon to cost almost $30. The usual price is much higher. Then they try to sell you all kinds of fluid changes, upgrades, air filters, etc., which in some cases you may want to accept while more often than not they recommend more than what your car really needs. If you like to change your oil yourself it is not terribly hard to do, but if you are a busy professional their quick oil change is one of the best available options.

I found the gentlemen at this location to be extremely helpful and kind. Of course they offer extra services, if you know how to say no thank you then its easy not to feel taken advantage of. They did exactly what I asked them to do.

The man in charge when we went in, and I can’t remember his name, was excellent. He quoted me for new brakes and rotars and I was prepared to pay the price for it. He then said let me do a full inspection just to make sure you only need two brake pads. He then did a free inspection and told us there was just a little rust on them and none of them ended up needing to be done. He could have lied to me and taken my money, but he was honest and that’s so rare these days. Definitely will be going back and I appreciate the excellent customer service and human decency on their end! Thanks guys!!

Absolute amazing customer service. Kayden at the Clinton location made my experience 5/5 talked to me right as I pulled up even though they were slammed I asked for an idea of time he told me. I decided okay I can wait he had me park and he opened the door for me and had small talk with me. Never had service like that give this man a raise.

I am very impressed with this Jiffy Lube location. The staff is aleays friendly, accommodating and quick. Chase was awesome when we had a mishap with our vehicle. I would recommend this location and will continue to go there as well.

I hadnt taken my personal vehicle to a Jiffy Lube location in a long time due to a history of poor service and dishonesty. However, I recently moved down the street from here, and decided to take my car there for Emissions and Renewal. Couldnt be happier with the service I received.

I brought my truck in for an oil change and was treated very well by multiple employees. Service was done quickly and I was able to get on to other things. Just the way it should be.They show each customer their vehicles recommended service milestones (based on manufacturers schedules) and are equipped to handle most service needs. Prices are reasonable. Not all Jiffy Lubes are equal. This location is one of the good ones.

I have been to this jiffy lube 3 times in the last year and every time has been a joke. A year ago I went here to do my emissions. I had a check engine light on earlier that month that I had repaired and when I went in the systems were not ready (which is my own vehicle’s fault). I had already paid for the service but they said if I went back there they would not charge me again. I had to go back three times before the systems were ready (again my vehicles issue) but every time I went there it took almost 3 hours each time when they told me the estimated time would be 1 hour. That’s 9 hours spent at this place. Then when I finally got the vehicle to pass their system to register my vehicle on the spot was down (something they failed to tell me till after it was done). So I still had to go to the DMV to finish my registration. I went there again later that year for an oil change and they told me it would be 2 hours even though there was only 1 car ahead of me. They said it was be because they had someone call in sick. I chose to go elsewhere. I decided to try them 1 more time this year for my registration again and when I got there the shop had no cars. They came out to help me and told them I was there for registration and they told me their tech for emissions was running late and they couldn’t help me. I gave them a 2 because they were very nice about it all, but very unprofessional and unorganized.

Was the worst experience ever. I havent been here for years and thought I would give them another chance and I should have trusted my gut. Got totally screwed. I wouldnt come back here if the oil change was free. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this location and I would recommend staying away from Jiffy Lube all together. I deeply Regret my mistaken review of Jiffy Lube. I apologize to them deeply for my mistake. Stay away from Valvoline in Roy on 1900! They Damaged my car and refused to change my oil after the manager left and I came back for my next oil change. They messed up my pan threads!!!

Worst place to go ever!!! I have never wrote a review on anything before but it was so bad I feel like I need to, I went there to get my truck registered and they tried to get me to buy a bunch of stuff I didnt need, they took my tires off and smacked my rotors with a hammer and then try to tell me my rotors are all messed up and loose and that it will cost over $80 to fix, they tried to get me to pay for some more fluids and things and I told them no thanks and they failed me on inspection, so I took it to a mechanic shop I trust and what do you know, it passed with no issues, this place is a joke, I should have stayed away but it was convenient at the time, I would never recommend this place to literally anyone.

Jiffy Lube in Clinton is certainly not Jiffy. Was told my wait time would 30 minutes. I am still waiting for them to complete the oil change 75 minutes and still counting. What a waste of my Saturday morning. Thought I would give them a chance to earn my business. Back to Grease Monkey from now on.

Im here from Wa. visiting family. I had to have an oil change done. The Jiffy lube men & women who worked there, especially Nathan were very helpful & courteous. I Liked their prices & the service time was excellent.

WORST SERVICE EVER!! All they do is take advantage of you! I got my car about a week ago, its an 07 mitsubishi eclipse. Everything is fine with it. Just came in to get an oil change. The first question he asks me is where I got my tint done. I told the employee and he talks to me like Im dumb saying his friend could have done it for a lower price. So they take my car and they tell me to just wait outside while they change my oil! And then one of the employees says that my exhaust is illegal! ITS STOCK EXHAUST!!! Next, they say my tint is illegal! And just to top it off they say my brake pads are too low, almost metal on metal. I go home, have my dad and I check the brake pads and theyre basically new!! And I had just got my safety and emissions done a week before! Im pretty sure they would have told me that my tint and exhaust was illegal and that I need new brake pads! Horrible service! Never going there again!!!!

This location has always been a nice and fast stop to get our oil changes and renewals done and I havent had a complaint. This past time we went in for the oil change and renewal and were asked if we wsnted to vhange the air filter. We said no as we get maintenance done on the car somewhere else. When we rung up with the woman she didnt run through the things theyd done, we thought we were just being charged for our oil change and renewal. That was my fault for not looking, but a new air filter had been placed in our car and we were charged for it. Two days later after we fixed the issue with the car and wanted to get it passed off I noticed an air filter had been charged to our card. When I asked them about this they said that because theyd thrown the old filter away and so they couldnt put it back in and refund us the money. They waived their charge to renew the car on the spot but it wasnt even half the cost of the air filter. I appreciate that they did something to make up for the issue on their end but we wont be going back. Just double check everything their doing because it seemed incredibly shady that the new air filter was slipped onto the bill when normally they run through what youre being charged for.Oh and another problem is we received service near close, which may have been our fault but we had to wait for my husband to get home from work. When we were rung up the first time I forgot to ask for a military discount. When my husband asked about it we were given coupons for 15% off instead of having the transaction be reversed and redone. Its my fault so I wasnt going to push it but if youre ripping me off with a filter we didnt ask for it seems like you didnt want to reverse the transaction because you knew you would be caught. Use caution here.

Only went in for top off but as always the men there were personable and cheerful and got me in very quickly and were very efficient is always a pleasure to do any business with them in that particular service facility

Got my Emissions and Registration. Only charged $5 extra for the registration. $5 to save me a trip to the DMV, absolutely!!

DO NOT GO HERE! This location tried to scam me. They told me that my reverse light was out & that they could replace it. I told them no & that i could replace it myself. I buy the bulb I need trusting what they said & come to find out NONE of my lights are out... If i wouldve said yes while I was getting my oil changed, I wouldve never known. Theres a BIG difference between a light thats out or not... So I dont buy that it was a mistake.
