I came to this salon Friday for a gel manicure. By Saturday my polish was peeling. I returned Monday and asked for a polish change. I wanted the same color but a different brand. The same gentleman completed my manicure ( he was very nice btw) I asked how much the service will be ( honestly it should be free) but hey I was willing to pay a small fee for my polish change even though I was the one being inconvenienced. He told me it would be be more than $10. I went to the front to check out and I believe he was pressured by the manager, Chris who told him to charge me full price! I asked “even though I was just here? I still have my receipt if you would like to see it” they then took $5 off of the service. So I paid an additional $21 even though the only reason I was there was because my polish was peeling after one day! Chris has a very poor attitude and didn’t even want to assist the nail tech with look for the same polish but of a different brand. This place is not very clean and they do not have a great system. Betty is the best but everyone asks for her so there’s always a wait. That was my last time visiting this establishment.

Paid $70 for a 30-minute fill... third picture is what I asked for versus what I got. Was never asked what shape I wanted, cut them way shorter than I asked and the design is just unacceptable. I am mind blown that this is even real... didn’t really notice how terrible they were until I got home. Don’t do it!!!!!!

The guy who did my nails name is Chris, he is very rough he burnt me with the drill to many times to count. He pulls on your arms. Even when you tell him he’s being rough he don’t care. Extremely long wait time to be serviced. I have visited multiple times to be serviced in this salon from dip powder to pedicures. However my last visit was the last straw. The head nail tech does not care about the health of your nails. I went in for a soak off waited for 90 mins before it was myTurn to be serviced. When I got to the station to be serviced the gentleman proceeded to rip the acrylic from my nails using nail clippers and cuticle cutters. Very painful. Even after I expressed my discomfort the technician explained how they had been doing nails for over 43 years and this was the quickest way. In my opinion Quick does not equal best. My nail beds are destroyed and my fingers are very sore after having my acrylic enhancement ripped off. I would not recommend this establishment if you care about the health of your natural nails and you don’t have time to waste waiting.

I went to this place for acrylics I went in and everything was going fine until he didn’t shape or file my nails so I showed him a picture of the nail shape I wanted and he told me that would be 10 dollars I said ok and I heard a little chuckle and then him saying “ I got your money” he also started drilling on my skin and on top of that he never gave me a choice but he decided to do gel polish which was another 20$ to add. My cousin got her feet done and they didn’t paint all of her nails because “it was too small”. when I was finished I wasn’t satisfied my nails were lumpy my whole nail wasn’t painted so I asked if they could fix it and they started painting on my skin in the end I went to another place they fixed my nails perfectly and I think this place is a waste of time and money. I would never recommend this place to ANYONE.

Not very good in my opinion. Requested a certain nail tech. Kept being told they dont know when shell be in. Had a pedicure. Wasnt a good one. Tech scrubbed too hard on my instep. Still sore. Recommended my daughter. She had a full set. She said she would never go back. They are fast and they are pretty BUT their sanitation techniques leaves a lot to be desired. Wont be going back.

Came here as a newly graduated nail technician to satisfy a requirement of a salon visit. Very simple. I asked the owner if he could help me and his words were “You don’t work here I can’t help you with anything and I don’t hire your kind!” really upset me. As I’ve came here on multiple occasions (when I have no other options) for service and quite frankly the services they provide are terrible! Nails are horrible and pedicures are even worse! Safe to say I’ll never return again.

This place is hit or miss. They own the Nail Spa 4 U up the street on west 117th and more than once I have arrived at one the stores and asked to drive to the other store even with an appointment made. I’ve had pedicures and manicures at both establishments. And it depends on who you get (Wendy is the best) and how busy they are. If they’re busy be ready to wait regardless of your appointment time. I stopped asking for designs because they can’t do them, if you’re looking for a solid color with round or square shaped nails they will do an amazing job. If you’re looking for something fancy this isn’t the place for you.

My nails are flat and the guy was super rough with my nails just because I asked for a design and he tried to talk me out of it. Such bad quality on my nails, they all look different

Usually have a great experience here but not this time. I believe Chris is his name, he w was a pushing so hard with the drill and burned me at least 5 times. However the real issue is that I asked him to repaint a few nails because he missed the edges. His response was if you dont like it, dont come back. Hiw does a business man talk to his loyal, paying and tipping customers that way?

Nail salons need to be held to the same customer service standards as any other business especially with the high prices customers pay. This salon did not provide adequate customer service in my opinion. I payed $55 for a pedicure and the employee literally rushed through the entire process. The whole time he was holding a conversation with another employee and not even looking at my feet when he was scrubbing them for the few seconds he did. He didn’t even cut all my cuticles or properly file my nails. When I looked at the polish closely in my toes he didn’t even paint the entire nail on most of them. All I’m saying is this salon like many others need to step up their customer service and the service they provide. Felt more like a chop shop trying to get you in and out than genuinely caring about you.

Witnessed owner tell a person to get out she was african american and looking for employment. Owners exact words were “I don’t hire your kind please leave” I was appalled!

I only go here for Betty! She takes her time and is very precise. The only one who can touch my nails because the owner did my nails one time with rhinestones and they had fallen off next day. I don’t understand how I just know Betty needs to find an upscale salon to work at she is great!!!!!

I must Express how much I love my nails that were done today Ive been to multiple shops all over Cleveland and I seriously love the way that Miss Betty at the shop did my nails while there was a long wait time because of the quality of nails I received I was happy to wait and sitting as I arrived on a weekend I only waited an hour before I was service the people here are very hard-working the owner work 7 days a week and this is now my go-to shop to get my nails done I will be going back every two weeks from now on I had laughs with the workers and the other customers this business deserves at least four stars for service and quality

This place no longer takes appointments, only walk ins. We waited about 40 mins on a Friday around 1pm. The owner/manager has no customer service skills, and not really good to be around. I got a gel manicure done by him, he was rough on my nails, where it was painful to me, he didn’t pay much attention to detail. Overall, the manicure wasn’t terrible but very little effort for a good experience was put in, for the money we paid. He didn’t clean his station after each client. However, my gf got her nails done by a nail tech, who was so sweet, and cared about her customers experience, and tried her best.

I have been here several times and have consistently had exceptional results. Jazzy and Chris are both wonderful.

The salon is filthy. Dusty powder everywhere. Chunks of cut nails all over the floor. Tables dont get wiped down after a client gets up. Streaks of something on the seat and crud in the crevices of the pedi chair armrest.

This was my third trip here and I love it!! Melissa is my go-to Lady for my pedicures. My feet always look and feel lovely afterwards. Love her customer service and I always feel like I am going to see friend.

Don’t let that owner/manager do your nails. He was rude when I called him over the phone and told him his work was terrible, and that when I got outside I saw that every single nail was a different shape. He told me to come back in to fix it then accosted me once I got back in there. He shouldn’t be doing nails just to make money. Let people who actually have a penchant for this work do it. He also needs to hire better staff because you only have about 2 people in there that can really do nails at a time. I would not recommend. All the services depending on who you go to see are hit or miss.

I’ve been to many nail salons. This was by far the worst nail salon I’ve ever been to. And I never even take the time to write reviews— but this place is so worth it to do so, so I save people time to not waste their time or money here. I went with my friend here to get our nails done. I read the reviews before and they weren’t great but there were very few good ones so we gave it a shot because we were driving right by in the area. We called ahead, they don’t take appointments, only walk ins. We were on a time crunch so we asked if they was a wait currently if we came within 5 minutes, he said there was no wait. We were so thrilled clearly. We go in, sign our names down, and then notice there’s people sitting waiting. We ask how long they’ve been waiting and they said, an hour and a half. First red flag. We wait because we have to go to Florida tomorrow anyway and all other salons are guaranteed to be busy. We waited about an hour and a half when he kept telling us 30 minutes. During our wait, he was answering phone calls putting the customers on speaker, making jokes. One phone call the customer asks, “Do you only take walk-ins” and he says “No we only take fly-in’s” and never properly answered the question and hung up. Very professional! Meanwhile he’s flirting with a customer and ends up paying for her nails (that’s fine). BUT, other nail techs kept asking him what to charge their clients and with my ears open, I hear him keep changing the prices. There’s no set and stone prices unless you clearly ask in the beginning or else he’ll make up a price or excuse for it to be extremely expensive. I wanted acrylics with nail polish, not gel. What do you know he did gel instead so I was charged more. While putting my nails in the gel light (was so small) I accidentally bumped my nail and he had to re-paint the polish on that nail and he got mad that I caused this to happen (getting mad at your clients is really smart dude). While doing my nails, he kept pulling my arms aggressively instead of asking me politely to scoot closer (even thought i was close— he probably just wanted to be aggressive because the whole service was painful in every way). The place is also filthy, powder everywhere, smells like pee, I can go on and on about how dirty the place is. While he was doing my nails he kept using his hand to wipe his nose and face then touch my hands again. Disgusting. My total was $70. So overpriced for a terrible experience. Out of everything mentioned, every other person getting their nails done in the salon was sharing their awful experience, and hated their time in this salon. Honestly, this place should be shut down. That is all.

The experience was great.... But didnt get my wine like it was advertised. I also explained that I didnt want gel polish he said my polish would be an extra 5 dollars when I go to pay my price is $146 and some change. I asked why because that was way over budget he said because the gel polish (which I said I did not want) was 15 dollars never told me it was gel and wasnt posted. I dont get my hands and feet done often cuz i do them at home. So unhappy with this.

So this was my first time here and the service was completely rushed. Like I was in the chair all of 17mins with getting one of their pricier pedicures. Bruh it wasn’t even like it was busy. I thought I was receiving something better.

This is the worst place to get nail services, the owner is extremely disrespectful, impatient and doesnt understand the meaning of good customer service, he was very rude and disrespectful he over charge me for a terrible service I received. My nails were lumpy he put paint on them that I did not ask for and refused to redo them, If I wasnt getting married the next day and had a hair appointment to attend, I would of stayed there called the police on him and refuse to pay for the service it was a nightmare... His workers even told him he was being disrespectful and told me to not pay. But I had already been there several hours and had an appointment, but I didnt see the situation getting better and wanted to leave as quickly as possible it was breaking my heart I could be treated so wrongfully. I would never come here again in my life huge disappointment. (Doesnt deserve not 1 star) (I had to pay over 140 dollars for this service) I had to walk down the aisle like this!!!

One of the worst manicures I’ve ever gotten. The edges of my nails aren’t even covered with polish and their “gel” lasts maybe 5 days before it starts peeling. The owner is unprofessional and rude.

Horrible customer service. There were only two people working in a Saturday and when you ask how long, they tell people an hour but don’t tell you about people who sign in and come back and after sitting there for an hour, THREE people came in and were told they’re next 😳😳😳 when I asked the gentleman who seemed to be the owner why he wouldn’t inform people about an accurate wait time he became upset and asked “what do you want me to do?” Excuse me? I have not gotten my nails done in over 3 years. Finding someone consistent, neat, gentle, and professional is very hard. Today I got my nails done by Chris at the location across from 117th Aldi, and I’m in LOOVVEEE. He was done in under 45 mins. The acrylic is neat and smooth and my coffin shape is PERFECT! Let’s not forget all the color choices they have. I WILL be back

I’ve been looking for a new nail spot since i moved to the area and after searching and searching i finally found it!!! I called and got in right away with Chris for a fill. He shaped my nails the best I’ve ever had. He made sure i got exactly what i wanted and made sure each nail was perfectly almond. He also took the extra steps most places don’t to make sure my color was vibrant. He made me very comfortable/confident in a new place. Then I got the Pro spa pedi with gel & designs, also perfection. I’m unsure of the younger mans name but he also shaped my toes perfect. He made sure each step of the pedi was done correctly and he took his TIME, i was very relaxed and beyond happy with each service. I will be coming back and referring all my friends and family here.

Came in new as a walk in on 3/7/20 with my husband for mani and pedi and as We asked for information about the services we wanted to receive ( the guy rudely told his employee to “sit us down and do her job, she did not have to explain anything to us” we walked out!!

Not happy. Made an appointment at 5:15pm and it’s now 5:41pm and I’m still waiting in the waiting area in a chair spaced 1-2 feet across from two other people waiting. I politely spoke up, addressing the time I’ve been waiting and no apology was made. I have another engagement tonight and now I’ll be late because I’ve had to wait 30 minutes. The whole point of making an appointment was so there is no wait. On top on this they do not accept American Express cards for payment.

As soon as you walk in, the owner is kind of rude. He did a bad job from the start besides cutting my fingers twice. Then forgets to put gel in one finger and says that after is done he will file them & make them look nice. Then he just walks away With out finishing his job. So I had to tell his other employee to finish the job so I can go home.

Yesterday was my daughters 10th birthday and I wanted to get her a manicure. I needed one nail fix (gel) and havent been to a local salon in a while. It was about 630 and everywhere was booked. I called them and they kindly told me to come in. First of all, its a beautiful place. The moment we walked in, we were greeted and asked to pick out our colors. My daughter went to I believe Christina which she was very sweet to her. I was taken to a man named Ken and let me tell you.. He is AMAZING. Ive been getting my nails done for 14 years and Ive NEVER had a more pleasant experience. From his technique, to the shaping and polishing. It was just perfect. The manager is very outgoing and funny so despite all of the negative reviews, he was very polite to customers while I was there. I will definitely be recommending this place.

I spent $32 on a gel manicure here. That’s a pretty good price HOWEVER the service I received was not worth it. The tools did not seem very clean. (My person pulled a wooden tool out of the drawer and didn’t wash it first; it had nail polish on it from the previous use.) Besides feeling dirty when I left, the actual manicure is not great. There is a decent amount of paint on the sides of my fingers near the nail. If you don’t care about hygiene and are just looking for a convenient nail salon in Lakewood then sure head on over! A rude man that works there will greet you with plenty of sass! Have fun :)

Went in for dip polish. chopped off my natural nails, completely uneven. barely paid attention. when I asked about the color being DRASTICALLY different than what was on the display I was dismissed. then slapped some gel on half haphazardly and before i could say anything was given the price. place is not clean. this is the first negative review i have ever written.

This place needs a better staff. The nail technician I had took 45 minutes to manicure my toes. It has never taken that long to get a pedicure done. There was no time to even paint them which was super disappointing. The gel manicure came out just ok. I will never visit this nail salon again.

Everyone was friendly there was a bit of a wait but name a Nail Salon that doesn’t have a wait.. my service wasn’t the quickest but it was definitely relaxing & worth it! Excellent service! I was blown away by the color selection and quality of equipment, however I will NEVER return.I can in a bit before 10am, my appointment was at 10. I picked my color choices, was told to sit for my pedi and then started my experience.Pedicure was amazing and relaxing. After I was done I sat down to get my gel manicure. The tech had just started and out of no where, I assume the owner starting yelling in Chinese and then starting dropping F bombs.He went up to one of his employees who was in the middle of a pedicure on a customer and screamed F you! The next time you come in late grab your stuff and leave. We have a full house in here and I hate yelling at you in front of people but you F in drive me crazy.I was so mortified for her and her bosses belittlement. That was the most UNPROFESSIONAL thing I have ever witnessed in my life.There was about 10 clients and 7 employees. That shouldn’t have happened. Such a shame.Never will return.

I went in recently for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. The tech ended up giving me a gel pedicure which is not what I wanted but it was too late by there time clear went on and he put the light on my toes. So I just went with it. The gel pedicure and manicure are super thick. My manicure is messy too, gel polish cured to my cuticles. I’m not sure if I got a newer tech or what. I was there for 3 hours!!!! Way too long and paid way too much for a mediocre job. First time and last time I’ll be there. Disappointed

I used to love this place, recently every single time I go I have to wait over an hour, even if I am only getting one nail fixed. They never have enough acrylic nail techs only people doing pedicures. The last 3 times I have gone my nails have broken or straight popped off, will not return. Tried to tell the tech my all of the nails on one hand was shorter than my other and he did not listen.

Got my nails done FIVE DAYS ago, my thumb Nail broke off and “Chris” the OWNER told me I can come get them done again and to come in. I get there and he’s very unprofessional saying he doesn’t care if I Was to just get them done And go outside and break a nail that he still wouldn’t do fix them. Just so unprofessional I paid $64.80 for nails that are falling off in FIVE DAYS? AYYY DIOSS😐🤦🏽‍♀️

If there was a possibility to award no stars, I would do so. The manager of this establishment did my nails and ripped part the skin off my nail until it was bleeding. I expressed that it hurt, he ignored me. He was extremely rough and when he saw that I was bleeding he attempted to clean it with alcohol. He gave me a dry sorry and said that it would be $54. The cost was standard, however the service was horrendous and painful. He should have offered me a discount for his negligence. I will not return. Getting your nails done shouldnt be a tortuous experience.

Don’t go to them!!! A good acrylic will not lift off the nail in less than 2 weeks I’ve had acrylics that never lifted at all. I called them to tell them and they said it’s because I hit my hand on something? Which is NOT true (even if it was true nail would be cracked not lifted) I tryed out a new place so it’s my fault but I trusted them because the manager said he’s the best one but I will not be going back to pro nail.

Christina took amazing care of me! By far the best manicure Ive ever had. Her attention to detail was impeccable and she truly cared about her work. Absolutely recommend.

This place is just around the corner from where I live so I was hoping to have a nice experience, but what I got was far from that. I called first to see if they had time to do a gel color change; they said yes. A man named Chris did my nails. While removing the existing polish with the drill tool, he hacked up my cuticles. I kept reflexively flinching each time he hurt me, but he didnt slow down or use any caution at all. Then he took an actual CHUNK out of my finger!! As it started bleeding, he casually said, oh sorry and kept rushing like no biggie. New polish hastily applied. Ive never experienced such a fiercely reckless, sloppy, painful nail job. I would not go back to this place if someone paid me to. Maybe this is unusual for them but Im not willing to give them another chance in order to find out. Ouch!

I always say I’m not going back and every time I end up going back, I regret it. The wait time is ridiculous, they are very understaffed and continue to take customers. I called ahead and asked the wait time and he said there was none. I got there and waited for fifteen minutes. There was another woman after me who was waiting for over an hour with no sense of urgency from the owner. I messed up one nail leaving and asked it they could fix it but he said later because they were too busy. I asked if I could do it myself if just gave me polish and he said no. I am done going there. I’m not sure why I have given it so many chances. The lady who did my nails was very nice and quick and my nails look good.

I had a scheduled appointment and when I arrived was asked to go to a different salon with the same owner. When I explained I had scheduled an appointment online 2 days ago, the person continued to tell me to go to the salon down the road as they were too busy to accommodate my appointment.

I have had some bad experiences with acrylic nails in the past, done by other nail salons. I work with my hands a lot, and my previous sets usually wouldnt last a week before the nails started lifting or popping off. Pro Nails Spa opened a few blocks away from me recently, and I decided to give acrylic nails another chance after hearing good things about their work.Needless to say, Im so glad I did. This set is incredibly durable and has held up amazingly. Chris did a fantastic job putting them on, and shaping them to my liking, he has a very good eye for detail. Ive been twice now, and each time has been a great experience. Im going to continue to get my nails done at Pro Nails Spa from now on, and I will recommend this place to everyone.On a side note, I feel like the prices are very reasonable, and they have a great color selection.

I went to this salon almost two weeks ago for a full set of acrylic nails. When I walked in, the man that was going to do my nails was asleep in the waiting room. The receptionist had to call out his name multiple times for him to wake up. Usually when I get an acrylic full set, they file and smooth the nails and it takes a good amount of time. I wash shocked that it took him about three minutes before he asked me to wash my hands and he painted the nails. But I thought that maybe he was just that good at what he did. My nails were far from smooth looking and two broke within a week. I am very disappointed I chose this place over where I usually go in rocky river. It seemed like he just wanted to be done with me and get onto what was next. I do not plan to return here and I will not recommend it to anyone.

I have not had my nails done in a LONG time. Chris was not only patient with me, but I have received so many compliments on my nails! DO NOT be alarmed by what ppl say regarding his temperament. There are a lot of hood/unnecessary things that go on in this place of business that demands a certain type of demeanor. (I witness some unruly behavior by a customer while I was there) This place is clean, nice, and I will definitely return.

Although the lady who did my nails was very sweet. My nails were not dome done correctly. With that said Im never going back, my nails are uneven and I didnt notice until I leave. They are expensive, I was charge 54 for a full set, gel polish and length from 2 nails to pop off. The nail lifted 5 days after and I went to go get it fixed and I told him what happened he said or my fault for hitting and bumping. I said I understand that but if Im wearing nails they should be durable for my every say life and last AT LEAST 2 to 3weeks. I was charged $3 and he repeated the same thing. I was over it. I was done there then walking home, I caught my phone after almost dropping it and it literally popped my nail off. Now I am aware that it was my fault but I wear nails and I NEVER had this happen. I just wont go back.

Very professional staff. They offer a variety of spa pedicures services. I like that they are very clean & have a variety of nails colors both gel, powder & dip. My only complaint, is that they charge extra for certain gel polish colors( mood/color changing polish). While other are included in the price of the service.

Ladies if you’re looking for a high quality salon you’ve found it right here in Lakewood. Very friendly very professional. Not only do they do nails but kimmy does an excellent job waxing eyebrows. Chris the owner is amazing at what he does. His work is flawless and absolutely beautiful. Don’t underestimate him because he’s a guy. Unbelievably satisfied with his work. Go ahead book your appointment and try it yourself.!

Very disappointing... I wish I could say I’ve had only positive experiences here, but I can only say I’ve avoided coming back to this place. After a few visits with my hands in the owners being rudely thrown around, two times I’ve walked in just to be told I couldn’t be taken care of and a time waiting 50 minutes after a scheduled appointment to even be acknowledged I decided out of kindness to give this establishment one last chance. I received the same rude treatment and negative attitudes of the owner and employees, within 5 days I needed two repairs due to the careless job that was performed. It’s in a great location, however I have not been able to walk into a welcoming atmosphere or walk out recommending their services at this establishment. Extremely upsetting.

I went to this salon and was unhappy with how my gel manicure turned out. I am not one to go back and complain but I did and was so so happy I did. Chris is incredible. He redid them for me and was very accomodating. I did the dip on my nails and Crystal gave me the best pedicure of my life. I will be recommending this place to my family and friends. Overall it was a great experience and my nails look wonderful.

Mellisa did my mani/pedi and it was EXCELLENT! They have tons of colors, gel and powder if you are into that, I prefer natural nails. I too noticed the sassy owner but I found him amusing! I found myself chuckling out loud. He appeared to do fantastic acrylics.

Worst dip manicure I’ve ever had. Nail shapes are un even, color is splotchy and they are super thick. Didn’t even clean off excessive polish around my nails.

Ive gone twice already and love it. All tools are sterile and packaged seperately (like how a tattoo shop keeps its tools) not just soaking in sterile solution. The owner is super friendly and funny and the staff does a great job. They can be busy on weekends so go early!

Ive been twice. The first time I had Becky and it was not a positive experience. I had a mani pedi and I ended up with a chemical burn on my foot from the calous remover. I literally saw my skin peep back and dissolve around where the burn occurred.The second time I went back for only a polish change in my hands... knowing I was not interested in them touching my feet. The guy I got was WONDERFUL and did things Becky didnt. I got a better manicure by asking for a polish change than I did with Beckys manicure.

OMG😆 I have found my new permanent nail salon! This place is super clean and super cute. The gentleman who did my nails(Chris) was AMAZING. I always get a French Manicure, and he suggested that I get the pink and white . I have never had a French Manicure look this good. He was professional, friendly and hilarious. The rest of the staff were really friendly as well. Chris is very good at what he does and I appreciated the fact that he took the time to do this service as it is not easy. He was extremely busy and yet found the time to answer the phone, greet customers, give helpful information and keep calm and smile.

Don’t even waste your time, nails are different shapes polish is chunky... I came in at 6:30 they don’t close until 8PM I didn’t get in the chair until 7:30 and then when I asked the manager to fix this hack job he said it was too late come back on Monday. How rude

I went to get a nail fixed that was broke and he takes my polish off and said it wasnt broke when I knew it was. A girl that wears nails can tell when they are. He didnt want to put polish back on unless I paid for it again I did get my money back and left and never will be back!!! Didnt even want to give him 1 star but had to... to post

This salon is awful! Terrible service and terrible work. I will never return! The staff is super unprofessional.

My gel nails lasts weeks. Nice clean place. Just needs to get a bit more organized

I went there twice and both times the experience was terrible. Rude and unprofessional. The second time they left my feet soaking for a hour. The manager scolded the workers about it but they didnt care. They made excuses. Horrible people. Also they didnt clean the jet device before putting it in the soaking tub. Health Department should shut that place down.
