I had run a DJ and Karaoke business for over 10 years...I had stepped out because I was tired of running it by myself. I reitred and got married. Its like my sound guys workshop, it has everything and then some of what you need to get your PA system up and running! The store is chaos, but an organized chaos to where you can find what you need, and cheap too. Ill definitely be doing a lot of business with them.

Great place to get some music gear. I was looking for karaoke stuff and got my mixer and some songs from them. It was cheaper than other places because of a coupon code I had and shipping was quick, but I also live in the same state. People were nice and informative that I talked to.

I have Two sets of the U-712s and I use them all the time and they perform really well.Jim and John were so easy to work with and they both went above and beyond the call of duty to help me. I have 0 % confidence in this companyI had the company help me 1 time! Thought they were reliable and stood behind their products. Wrote a good review...well now I have to retract it. Because I would be lying.I can see now THEY DO NOT BACK ALL THEY CLAIM! I have snippets of the issues....I have reached out multiple times. I have called them...sent emails. Windows needs to do a download but its their login with their password. Response is I should be able to do it myself! The Free DB is no longer in service. So now I cant get the songs put in my system automatically. I have to input every song and artist. Ive asked them to give me another one I could download or have them download. So I dont lose the contract that I got when I bought the machine. Next step is the BBB with all the e-mails and depicts of me reaching out...with no response! Just think it could have been handled with one simple response...thats called customer service. About the response. I was going to have the owner make a deal. I called him on the Friday he was going to have an invoice ready. He wasnt there. The one tech I talked to him about, was new. The CDG burner that cane with my machine belonged to another company out of Poland. They couldnt find a license for me. So I went on their website and paid to get the system with the license. They Free DB was how the computer would input all the information. So I didnt have to input all the information song by song. He stated he stands behind the music that comes with my purchase. I believe that. Its the other things I kept reaching out to him about. Its been resolved because I had to buy the Power CDG through a different company.

Chuck was great to work with during the purchasing of our new system. He knew his stuff and was able to answer all of our questions. Once we receive our system, Chucks team will help us remotely to set it all up. Looking forward to it.

5 star service! I love that they are local. They ship direct to me when Im doing gigs out of town and also have a VERY fast response time. If you have any audio/video/lighting needs, you need to call these guys!!!!!! I myself own a mobile DJcompany based out of Cleveland, and I go to them for all of my audio, video, and lighting needs. I rent and buy from them, they service all my equipment and also consult with my team on our upcoming events.

I searched high and low all over the interwebs to find the best karaoke equipment at the best price. I watched one of Chucks videos and gave him a call to help me determine the best system for our little Community Club. He easily spent 30 minutes on the phone with me figuring out my needs and gave me a recommendation. I then searched out systems and without a doubt, his systems are by far the best you can get for the price! Then I was even more impressed and surprised by their tech department! Meagen is an absolute GEM, helping me with set up and function of the software as well as taking time to answer questions outside of work hours!! I wouldnt give them one star I bought a computer 2300$ never been right has to call criss tech every show promised by Joe Chuck would call me never happened talked to Megan an employee she was willing to help Joe over road her and would not do what she as an employee they would do Joe and I argued. I finally told him that Im in BUSINESS also and if I lost money I would honor it to keep a customer and if he could sleep with it do so otherwise honor what they said bottom line dont do business with them period.

I had been out of the DJ/KJ business for quite a few years and decided to get back into it as a pass time since I retired. I purchase one of your karaoke computers and didnt quite understand all of the functions. I called for some technical help very close to closing time as we are on different times and your Tech Rep Meagan took my number and called me back after she finished up some things before they closed. She remmoted into my system did a few things explained some stuff showing me the where and hows of the program. I felt so much more comfortable with my gig on Saturday. I am very happy with my purchase and extremely satisfied with your Technical Support Team!!

BY FAR THE BEST KARAOKE EQUIPMENT IVE EVER HEARD!!!!! And on top of that, i had a speaker stand end up with a weak leg on my first gig, I called and asked how this could happen and they immediately without question said there is a more stable updated version on its way right now and that was before i was off the phone.... I have to say I purchased my Yorkville NX55P system about a year and a half ago and I love it! I wanted to start a karaoke business because I love to perform, but when I went to get a system I had no idea what to get. They set me up with an amazing set up! I get so many compliments all the time. Also, Chuck is a great person. Because of the amount we purchased (roughly 9k in equipment) we were able to get set up on a payment plan. We hit some rough areas where we missed some payments but Chuck was always willing to help. So now we are payed in full and will be purchasing everything we need from them!!!!

I am 64 years young and have always wanted a karaoke system but they seemed more complicated and time consuming so I always put it on the back burner. After months of research I came across a company called Light Year Music and they had the system I was looking for, so I called and talked to Chris and Chuck and before I knew it (couple of days) I had the karaoke system up and running in my house. The set up was quick and easy with the help from Chris and took no longer than 5 minutes tops.I have dealt with on line purchases before and usually dont get good support after the purchase but that is not the case with Light Year who have a very valued team member named Chris. I have purchased everything from high-end RCF Line Array speakers, Yorkville Speakers, Pioneer DJ Gear, Rane DJ Gear, Trussing, Staging, Chauvet Professional Lighting, Blizzard Lighting and Allen & Heath Mixing consoles. Service is always on time when I need something and Chuck, Joe T, or Joe P always keep me informed about the status of my orders. Lots of places sale gear but few have the working knowledge that these guys have. Lifetime customer! Also they have decent size rental department.

I was racially discriminated against.I never pull the race card because frankly Im over all that and the crap it comes with. But this place and the man with the glasses who was sitting in the middle was just disgusting towards myself and my boyfriend over the phone when we simply tried to rent microphones for 2 days. He kept implying that we would steal them and would be charged with a felony. After we said okay we understand he aggressively and agitatedly (hoping the line about the felony would send us on our way because he just knew thats what we were going to do) denied our rental and dismissed us from the store. . I literally said 10 words at the very most to the man... My father, who is white, told me that felt like racial discrimination on my end. So Im disgusted with this place.

I WAS TOTALLY NEW TO KARAOKE EQUIPMENT WHEN I BOUGHT MY SYSTEM FROM THESE GUYS A FEW WEEKS AGO. THEY HAD GREAT FEEDBACK ON EBAY, SO, I DECIDED TO JUST CALL AND LET THEM TELL ME WHAT I NEEDED, AFTER DESCRIBING WHAT I WANTED THE SYSTEM TO DO AND WHAT MY BUDGET WAS. I TALKED TO J.T. ON THE PHONE FOR PROBABLY AN HOUR AND DECIDED WHAT TO BUY. IT WAS A LITTLE SCARY GIVING SOMEONE YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER AND BUYING OVER $2,000 WORTH OF EQUIPMENT THAT I KNEW NOTHING ABOUT AND COULD NOT SEE OR FEEL. BUT IT WAS A WISE CHOICE. THE EQUIPMENT WAS MATCHED PERFECTLY AND WAS EASY TO HOOK UP. AFTER ALL, THIS IS THEIR BUSINESS, WHAT THEY DO, AND THEY KNOW IT WELL. AFTER I HAD IT HOOKED UP, CHUCK G, GUIDED ME THROUGH THE PROCESS OF INSTALLING THE EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE AND DOWN LOADINIG ALL THE NECESSARY THINGS ON MY LAPTOP TO GET IT RUNNING. MY SYSTEM ARRIVED ON FRIDAY AND I HAD PROBLEMS WITH MY COMPUTER, (NO FAULT OF THEIRS) AND CHUCK SPENT OVER AN HOUR ON THE PHONE WITH ME AGAIN ON SATURDAY HELPING ME GET EVERYTHING WORKING. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE ENTIRE EXPERIENCE AND WOULD RECCOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. THEY TAKE PRIDE IN THIS STUFF AND WANT YOU TO BE HAPPY WITH WHAT YOU GET.
