Tropical Pools and Pavers did an OUTSTANDING job from beginning to end on our new pool. They started from scratch and once the trees were removed they started right away! The process went just as they described from digging to the pouring of the shell, electrical and plumbing work, spa design, travertine deck installation, pool screen install and maintenance of the pool to salt water. We have been extremely happy with their contractors, Curtis the owner, Regan our sales rep and their office staff. I would HIGHLY recommend them for your pool!!!! and FYI their contractors are very happy with them and say they pay on time and are very good to work with and for and I guarantee thats what makes the process go so smoothly!! Working with Tropical Pools & Pavers was a great experience from start to finish! From Jon, our sales representative to Curtis, our construction manager to the front office staff, they delivered on time, on budget, kept us informed, and had some great design ideas. Tropical Pools has been fabulous in every way throughout the process from great attention to the design and accommodating our change requests to the excellent attitudes and workmanship of literally dozens of specialized workers. We greatly appreciate each and every one of them and we appreciate the seamless coordination that pulled the project together. If you are considering purchasing a new pool, understand that it is a multi-month, complex, and expensive project. We are VERY happy that we chose Tropical as they made that process virtually hassle-free and relatively affordable.

I did a lot of research before I made the decision to go with this company. They came recommended by a friend, who had their pool done about 5 years ago and are still happy. I interviewed and recieved quotes from several companies. Tropicals price was competitive. I was happy with the entire process. Regan was our sales rep and designer. He was very easy going and patient with me during the multiple design changes. Curtis, the owner, provided his cell number and responded immediately to any questions. The work flow/progress was steady; without any large gaps of time between stages. My pool is absolutely gorgeous. Many friends and family have said its the prettiest pool and deck theyve seen.

We had a pool built in 2015. Jon was excellent and walked us through the process and was very patient with our constant changes. However the construction of the deck and its preparation has a lot to be desired. First I noticed there was a discernible drop off at the edge of the pool deck. When I mentioned this the only answer I got was yes, well you need a retaining wall, sooner than later. ( $6,000 later). When it rained the water poured into the lanai as the deck drains, only 1 1/2, when there are 3 drains available, could not cope as the deck slope is very steep. When mentioning I was told well you need guttering. I did have gutters fitted with no difference!! I would have expected that a company who builds pools would be able to identify these issues prior to building and be proactive and look at ways to address such issues. For example reducing the deck slope, installing wider drains to cope with Florida rains.Great pool however I spend a lot of time moving lanai furniture and sweeping out water when it rains heavy, which is very frequently!! So it looks like I will have to pay to have this issue rectified.

We had a pool built by Tropical. Ronnie worked with us, and he was very accommodating and helpful. When we had a problem with pump placement, Ronnie stood behind their work and made it right. Were very pleased and get tons of compliments on our pool! Weve already recommended Tropical to others.

Friendly and helpful family owned business

Ronnie came out to my house on two different occasions to help design pool and answer any questions that I had. The last time he came out was in the first week of January. When he left he said that he was going to get me a quote within a couple days. I didnt hear from him so I emailed him. He responded that he would send me a quote again within a couple days. Nothing. I sent him a text a week later to see if something was wrong and no response. I called the office and the voicemail box was full. The job was pretty big and I cant believe that they would pass up my business like that! Im not sure if they went out of business or what is going on but Im not sure why he would spend so much of his free time trying to sell me a pool and then never respond. Very strange.

Couldnt be happier with our pool. Its absolutely beautiful. The entire process from beginning to end was smooth. Ronnie and Curtis were always available for any questions we had. All of the workers that came to work on the pool were friendly and professional. I highly recommend Tropical Pools and Pavers. Look no further.

We did a lot of searching, comparing, pricing and when we were done, we did it all over again. We met with numerous pool contractors and we felt Tropical Pools and Pavers would do the best job for us. Jon is straightforward, honest and sincere. Curtis the project manager always returned my calls, (hes a busy guy), and the rest of the staff is so very helpful. They gave us everything they promised. If building a pool, dont look elsewhere. Save yourself a lot of time, money and hassle and go with Tropical Pools and Pavers!

This is absolutely the worst company ever. It took 4 phone calls and 4 months to get a quote. I went forward with them because they were a little less expensive than their competitors. One of the owners, Curtis assured me that the project would go smoothly and he would make sure I knew what was going on at all times. I signed the contract in November. It took them 3 months just to get permits. I could not get a plan or even a list of steps. I had to continuously ask what was going to happen next. As a single woman who has never had a pool, l felt helpless but hoped for the best. It took 4 months to finish that included several heated exchanges with Curtis. They didnt explain anything about how to take care of a salt pool. I hired someone to take care of it that asked me questions about the first 30 day requirements and I had no idea what he was talking about.There were electrical problems with spa which they did fix. And the pavers have started to collapse only 2 months after completion. I cant warn strongly enough to not use this company!!!!!

Curtis is the absolute best. Dont hesitate because his pricing is so competitive. We thought we were taking a risk years ago with his company because the price was the best, but here six years later the pool is STILL perfect, and Curtis is always helpful years later if I have a question.You cant go wrong with Tropical Pools and Pavers.

Integrity, quality and price. You’ll find all three with this company. This is my fourth Pool build and I learned a lot about who not to hire when Undertaking a project like a pool. What I really liked about tropical pools is they don’t subcontract out 90% of their work like many other pool builders do. If you’ve never been in a subcontractor battle you’ll never understand but trust me, it’s important. Second, anyone can build a Pool but it’s how you’re treated after they’ve received your final draw that tells you about the company’s integrity. In this case, Curtis, the owner, stepped up when an excavator damaged our property. No hassles. Finally, design and materials planning can be complicated. JON, one of the sales reps there was very helpful and forthcoming with the pros and cons of various pool designs and products. No up selling here. Great to work with. Use them. You wint be disapponted.

Ive never used the service but I drive around their van a lot and they are very reckless, inconsiderate, and unprofessional driver (s). So that puts a bad taste in my mouth for the company.

My parents used this company for their pool. Nothing but problems, 3rd rate work. Damaged plumbing while installing, then acted like they were doing us a favor when they fixed it. Never again!
