I took a friend here this morning. I was amazed at how much merchandise they had and how knowledgeable the sales lady was, I learned so much from her as did my friend. They will even shave your head for free which I think is so kind and caring. It was sort of hard to find but I sure am glad we did. Offices that cater to cancer patients should have information in their offices about this business, it would make things so much easier for women trying to cope with treatment and the loss of their hair. Thanks so much for your kindness.

I worked with Valerie yesterday in the Clearwater, FL Custom Hair store to purchase a wig. She is amazing and listened to my needs and desires and together we found the best solution for me. She understands the needs of her customers. The wigs are gorgeous and we found 6-7 different ideas prior to trying them on for size. I left the store wearing the wig and had several compliments on my hair from strangers as I went about my day. I highly recommend Custom Hair!

I have recently lost my long thick hair due to a hair product. It has been devastating for me. I do not want to leave the house let alone go to work. I was so impressed with the compassion Valerie showed me when helping me try on many wigs. She went out of her way and I am grateful. I bought a wig and am waiting for it to come in. I have had alopecia for 17 years. I have tried many wigs in y life. The wigs they have are beautiful. This is truly the nicest place I have ever been too. I walked out with a beautiful wig. I will purchase from this place only.

I recently completed chemo and have been supporting turbans since I lost my hair. Im getting ready to return to work...and life as a human being. Cancer can take so much. I have never tried on a wig and decided to give Custom Hair a try. I never expected to walk out wearing a wig! Owner Valerie is such a beautiful person inside and out. She understood my issues and lack of confidence. My son was also with me for support and guidance. We tried many wigs. Valerie explained everything about wigs...I know so so much about wigs now! Anyway, the 2nd wig we tried was perfect! She trimmed the wig to complement my face, explained about insurance and how to submit, and I walked out with my new hair, feeling like a real human being and Ive been regaining confidence daily since then. Everyone loves they way I look!! I have nothing but raves for Valerie and her Custom Hair Shop in Clearwater!!

I purchased a wig that was a little long and planned on cutting it myself. The lady in the shop offered to do the trim and really made the whole experience very pleasant.

UPDATE: Since I cant reply to the owners response for some reason I guess Ill just update this here. I always wondered if the reason these women didnt return my calls was because they thought i could not afford one of their wigs from my appearance or something. This response confirms that suspicion for me since I never once said I would not be able to pay for a wig at their EXTREMELY high prices, and was even willing to in order to get what I wanted. But they somehow got that idea, that assumption made about me was a mistake.I went to both the Clearwater and Tampa locations and was disappointed not only because they didnt have exactly what I was looking for, but because their wigs are about three times as much as anywhere else. However, I figured oh well, most places do not carry many blonde choices and thats what I wanted. They assured me at both locations that they would help me to find what I was looking for but I never got a call back, even after going back in and asking why I didnt get any updates they just told me theyd have someone give me a call. As Im sure this is with most women, its a very sensitive subject for me and they made my experience with them terrible. I was so excited I was going to finally get what I had really wanted and the disappointment I felt for weeks after not hearing back was heartbreaking.
